401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The regulation of the cryptocurrency market will become more serious on: August 19, 2021, 04:58:11 PM
I am of the opinion that there should be regulation in the market to counter the fraud in the market. We are 10 years in the market and after the ICO boom we started seeing billions of dollars worth of scam and we should get rid of that epidemic of money mongering assholes who prey on innocent investors.
I had seen enough and i do not want to see any scam further and for that we need regulation for anyone who raise money.
402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile phone vs. laptop vs. tab...what's your preferred device for day trading? on: August 18, 2021, 10:05:38 PM
When i am trading or doing my research i need my laptop after that i am fine with the mobile phone to monitor the market as i am comfortable in that way. I am not claiming myself to be a expert in the field but since i am here for a long time i am made some successful bids and made huge profits and that is how i proceed with trading. In short i like trading in a bigger screen  Grin.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who's been buying recently? on: August 17, 2021, 11:33:20 PM
We've been in a big bear market but there is a sudden pump.
Is this a giant whale or few whales buying up, retail, some companies? Any way to track the major buyers/sellers?
There are several good news before that pump, there was meeting where some influencer who accepted Bitcoin as a payment for his car business suddenly backtracked and then now he accepted them recently and made some statements  and then the London Hardfork in ETH, these are reasons we can justify the reason why we had a good rally in a short period of time.

404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 16, 2021, 08:11:47 PM
~
Nothing but for the sake of him having a fight instead of wasting time waiting for another one, this replacement is good enough and we should focus with them after all, even we do mentioned names those fighters will not accept as soon as possible knowing how strong Manny was, they will ask for time to condition and to scout how they going to counter Pacquiao's capabilities.

Ugas needs to take the risk of fighting back once they've met. Continue to guard yourself will just give Manny more time
to keep throwing punch on him.
Yordenis Ugas is taking the risk because he is not a big time player even though he is a champion and he might see this as an opportunity to make money and we can very well say that it is a step down from the level of competition as Manny was scheduled to face Errol Spence Jr but the risks are higher because a  win for Yordenis Ugas in this fight could change his fortunes as well.

India won the game! Anyone expected it? The batting pitch turned good for bowlers in the final two days. It was also mentioned in the pitch report that the pitch will be favourable for blowers on day 4th and 5th. However, I thought it would end as draw, but England batted very badly on day 5. They should have played with more patience. Odds and predictions are wrong here. After the end of day four England was still favourite in the game.
The odds for India winning the match was well over 2.4 and i thought they would be a draw but the Indian tail end and the bowlers surprised everyone as this should be their biggest win in England. I thought India would have won the first match if not for the weather delays and i thought this match would end up in a draw.

Full credits to the Indian bowlers and they are a force to reckon even though they gave the player of the match to KL Rahul, the match winners were the bowler.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 16, 2021, 02:33:15 PM
I am shocked. What the heck is going on? Shami and Bumrah scored 90 runs between them and were not out until the end. Horrible bowling by England. Also, the Indian bowlers are dismantling the England batting line-up quickly.
Shami and Bumrah changed the match with their batting and then came out and picked a couple of quick wickets and there is still 40 overs left in the match and India needs to pick 7 wickets to win the match but as long as Joe Root is still in the crease there is nothing to worry for England. I am sure India is attacking and i have seen catches being dropped in the slips and they need to hold on to the catches in situations like these.

Root is the only one that they can count on at this point. If he gets out, the chances of India winning will rise drastically. If not, it will probably end as a draw as I mentioned in my previous posts.
I am also expecting a draw but i am expecting some competitive match up in the final session.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: August 16, 2021, 12:45:08 PM
~
Yes, bitcoin still has popularity today and that is proved with the good movements from bitcoin price to reach the highest price so far, although right now, the price still struggling to back to that high price.
I have a doubt, do you think that every time the price of Bitcoin goes below the all time high valuation you will consider that the price is struggling  Roll Eyes. The price is rallying 400% from the past years valuation and why would anyone think that the price is struggling, which does not even makes sense and do not expect the market to only in one direction .

The purpose of Bitcoin as a currency is not bad either, i am able to make transaction at very low fees and i do not have a complaint against Bitcoin for the past few months because the transactions fees are lower than ever and the confirmation times are surprisingly faster.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the fight between Binance and Cardano on: August 16, 2021, 11:21:07 AM
The circulating supply of Cardano is 32,112,283,412 ADA and the circulating supply of Binance Coin is 168,137,036 BNB and hence it is easier for coins with larger circulation to be at the top of the list and what is there with the battle, these things changes with time and in the next 5 years if they could be in the top ten list, then we can talk about it.

In the end, it was a disappointing result for Pakistan. The second test is scheduled for this week, and hopefully they could make a comeback.
Even thought it was disappointing for the Pakistan supporters the match itself was entertaining as the results could have gone either way till West Indies scored the winnings runs with the tail end players and one wicket in hand, it is one of those rare matches we see in cricket. It was a great comeback by Pakistan and 20 plus runs would have made a huge difference in the match and Pakistan would have won as it was that close.

India is also going in the same path as the only batsman in the crease when the final day started (Pant) is back in the pavilion and now it is a matter of time England bowls out the rest of the player and India is leading by 180 runs and they need 30 plus runs to be comfortable and think of defending.

410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the legal status of Bitcoin in your country? on: August 16, 2021, 08:03:02 AM
In my country, the trading of Bitcoin is not illegal. And it is not officially legal also. Because there are some regulations on the way and I assume we will see them before the end of this year. Until the regulations start being active, shopping with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is illegal.
You said there is no legal framework for Bitcoin and why do you think it becomes illegal to accept them if there is no rules or regulations against Bitcoin. This is the misconception everyone has, if there is no law or regulations no one is stopping you from accepting them.

We can just trade our coins in crypto exchanges. I guess the government wants to tax the transactions while buying something with crypto but they can't do it as we are waiting for the regulations. However, it's not clear yet whether the government will let people buy something with Bitcoin after the regulations.
You are bound to pay the taxes if you are making the profit and you cannot get around from that. As long as you are making money you need to pay taxes.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 15, 2021, 11:56:27 PM
~
Do you foresee any Impact on crypto gambling?
I have not used Twitch and hence i am not really bothered with the news but how can it have any impact on the gambling space. The reason they might have restricted them is because of the constant spam and nothing else, there are shills out there that would irritate you for a long time and the only logical solution you find in a short period is to ban them and hopefully that is the case here.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 15, 2021, 11:48:13 PM
Yesterday, I was scrolling newsfeed on twitter and got someone tweeted like this, "No BTC holding is risky.' This is somewhat true when I thought it deeply. Now, I got the same feeling. It’s risky to not own any bitcoin. Fiat is getting devalued all the time.
May be he was holding any alt coins expecting it to rally and became a bag holder or anyone fooled hi with a custom token, if not who in the holy hell will be thinking like this because Bitcoin is the only coin in the market where you are certain that it will not give you a loss unless you flip outside down and start selling when the market is in a correction mode.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: August 15, 2021, 11:06:05 PM
~
It's sad what you see in this cryptocurrency market, someone wakes up and creates altcoin named after a Japanese fish or a dog name and so many people buy the coin making the coin creator become rich
This is going on for a long time and so is the reason some of the project developers are anonymous because they keep on changing with their ideas and they usually copy other source code and launch their own coin and in the end when everything is set and done the developer will be making millions and they move on to the next one.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 15, 2021, 10:56:45 PM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?
That means that they hyped up coin should be the number one coin in the cryptocurrency market. I just want to know, have you made any transactions in Ethereum recently or have you purchase anything in the market using ETH and if you tried any of these in the past few months you would know that you will be shelling out huge amount of money as gas fees and how do you think it will overtake Bitcoin with these huge technical restrictions.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 15, 2021, 08:02:28 PM
This could be the last we will see Manny fight in the ring he will be very busy after this fight and by the time there is an open for a new fight, he cannot do it because he is holding a high position and it won't let him fight again, or his body could not keep up anymore so I hope he can give us a great fight and he wins another title again, I lost count how many titles he wins people are only counting weight category.
It is difficult to follow the number of belts boxing has in each and every division but we are aware that Manny Pacquiao won multiple belts in multiple weight division and he has nothing much to prove and if he really wants to focus on politics he can do so. If you are from that part of the world, i want to know his chances of winning the election.

I know that he already holds some political position in the country but no idea about his political views and his vision for the future.

Ashwin's competition was Ishant not Siraj. Not productive to discuss hypothetical scenario but after looking at the 4th day pitch it does look like that Kohli failed to read the pitch and most importantly Indian batsmen, not complaining about today's batting performance but 1st inning's collapse on good batting wicket (2nd day) bothering me more.
I thought Ashwin was the front line spinner for India and i am not sure what would have happened if we was in the team but, if Ashwin was a spinner playing for any other country he would be in the team. There is too much competition but Jadeja is not known for his turn but his line and length but i feel Ashwin would have caused problems if the pitch is assisting than Jadeja.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme/NFT investment really worth the hype they're getting?. on: August 14, 2021, 09:39:13 PM
NFT is a whole new crypto system that really can not compared to a meme coins. NFT is currently used by many crypto games as their marketplace to sell in game items. This NFT is really fit for selling any online items or in game items on the internet, i'm sure there will be a lot of games using NFT in the next years because it works on several games like Axie or Vulcan Verse.
In a few years we will see some major players in the NFT platform, right now i have my take on the market as i started following them because they started adding P2E games which is really interesting and can develop a major market and i am looking for new projects that have visionary developers who can make the best platform for games. I am not a big fan of collecting digital art but i have seen some are coming out with authenticated art work which is a game changer.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 14, 2021, 09:14:29 AM
^^^ From 100 for 5 to 251 for 8 is good performance and it is solely because of Kraigg Brathwaite who was leading the team from the front but unfortunately missed a well deserved century but they are in a safe position and we will see a result in the match and it all depends how Pakistan is going to bat.

West Indies needs to find good talents in the Test format as well, they have a good T20 side but their longer format team is struggling for a long time.

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Makes Meme Coins, What Do You Think? on: August 14, 2021, 12:07:12 AM
Elon Musk can do whatever he wants to do with his life, i he wants to create a meme coin or any other coin in the market he will do so but he only like to troll the market so that it favors him  so that he could make money when some of his companies are burning money and one investment in Bitcoin gave him all the profits he was loosing that financial year just like that.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 13, 2021, 09:50:55 PM
When NFT games started coming out it was really interesting but now i am not playing because the amount of money you need to shell out for a game is not worth it. I know many burned their money as well when the market had a huge correction and majority of the coins suffered a lot and the investors are not happy with the ways things are going. I would rather gamble in a casino rather than NFT games because of the initial capital.
