The answer is God. Herein lies the problem You must assume God created the universe. But if you didn't, that leaves the question: what created the universe? I don't know. There are theories, but nobody knows. And so God persists.

Ask your pastor/rabbi/tribe leader It's a simple question but it requires an educated background, of which not commonly found in religion as tradition conflicts with reason. A better question is, why do Humans insist God? It's like the question, chicken or the egg? The chicken, of course. The egg didn't magically appear out of thin air. "But what hatched the chicken?" Whatever it evolved from.

Not a techie either, but I have seen some basic games where you'll 'discover' teeny tiny amounts of BTC, and then you give it your BTC address to send. I think this was a gambling site.
I'm not sure if you could setup a game which had direct access to your coins. Maybe someone with more programming knowledge could tell you, but it might be easiest for the player and the transactions to build up a certain amount of BTC while playing, and then cash out at the end of the day.

I was actually wondering about this with a friend; would they send a drone for this guy? I want him to go on for as long as possible, but at the same time, if someone on US soil gets blown away by one of those things, it's pretty much every man for himself. If the drones weren't big before, they would be at that point.

So how long until it encroaches inland I'm just outside the "border" right now. Bye bye rights. Not just as an American, but as a human being.

Yeah, take it from another artist, you never want to reveal finished work before you've been paid Easiest way to combat this is to put a gigantic ugly stamp (something that says sample maybe) on anything you show your client. Preferably one that can't be photoshopped out Then once you're paid, send them the clean file.

I'll occasionally see stuff in the corner of my eye that I think is there for maybe a split second. But it only ever occurs if I've been in my house for a long period of time without much interaction with anyone else. I don't think it's really a problem until you start taking it seriously I remember one time I mistook a vacuum cleaner for a little girl in a dress. I have no idea how I mistook one for the other. I know for a fact I double knotted those ropes. I once mistaken a girl in a dress for a vac... Never mind! Extra-strength vacuuming huh

Pretty good general intro video! Is Bitcoin a Legitimate Form of Currency? TheTechFeed (over 40K subscribers) 2013-02-07 http://www.youtube.com/user/TheTechFeed?feature=watchBitcoin is a virtual currency gaining popularity across the web for its ease and speed of use, as well as its anonymity. Annie takes a look at the many uses for Bitcoins, and talks to Fred Ehrsam of Coinbase on the practicality of the digital currency. I liked it, but I always get bugged out when someone compares PayPal to Bitcoin. I know it's an easy comparison, but it really is comparing apples to oranges. Sure, they're both fruit, but they're so vastly different. Anyone who has been a long-term user of PayPal knows the frustration that comes along with it (cough account frozen cough fail-team of customer service cough holier-than-thou cough)

On a similar note, I got a gift card to Target last Christmas. I traded it to a friend who was nice enough to take it off my hands for as much as it's worth. I don't shop at Target much, but I guess he does.
I believe amazon coin will work about the same way. Apparently it's mostly for Kindle. As long as you can trade it between Kindle owners, it can definitely be used alongside Bitcoin. Swap out coin for coin.

Can't say I saw this one coming, but, considering the LAPD's shenanigans are almost common knowledge (I knew about it being a Texas resident my entire life), it's amazing something like this was off-put till now.
Though I must admit, it's extremely fishy. With all the school shootings in just the first month and a half of this year, and then this. Looks like the unconnected random mishaps involving firearms are going to continue as scheduled until everyone's on their knees begging for the gov to confiscate every weapon in the country.

Nothing terrorizes me more than my government's war on terrorism. Drones, anyone?

It's hard to gain rep here when you just started and people aren't going to take risks with newcomers.
There isn't much risk if he agrees to escrow. I believe you have a good point. Even if you're the most reputable person on the board, people still aren't going to buy what they don't want. The rep just helps ease their mind.

Participate, get to know people. Someone's gonna have to take a risk with you, and they'll probably want every security measure available to protect themselves from a scam. With that said, if you're willing to do some trading, use escrow. Some members here offer the service for a tip. That way you can start building rep, and believe me, there's no shortage of people here who will thank you for your business. Furthermore, there are always members who pretend to be nice folk, then around the 100-200 post mark, suddenly want a loan. So expect to be here for a while before anyone really starts trusting you. But really, just be nice, and people will be nice back Well, within reason.

Hey, come on guys, give him a chance. I mean, he's only insulting and belittling everyone he meets. Maybe if we give him a thousand BTC, he'll be a little nicer to us--because that's what matters in this world. I mean, who doesn't want to help out the universe? A thousand BTC to one guy could surely help the universe out. What with how big and vast it is. And not-caring for people in any way, shape, or form.
I'm afraid I'm a few bitcoin short of a thousand myself, but I wish you luck in finding the next guy with a thousand to give.
