421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: September 29, 2021, 09:22:58 PM

Until they start throwing punches we can't tell who's really better between the two, as even thereare available data but fighters

always have surprises when already inside the ring.

I agree if Sultan can take Caraballo's punch and frustrate him just like what he did to Casimero, Caraballo is in big trouble, I consider Sultan to be a more technical fighter he is always not in a hurry to knock out his opponent always patient and wait for the right moment to deliver his big punches, I'm on Sultan on this fight.

A good strategy that most champs have, observing the opponent's attacks and try to see if they can take solid punches and if does, they will begin to counter and start attacking. If Sultan sees that way, Caraballo is not in the good place, though it's been a long while when Sultan beats Casimero, but the confidence that you can repeat the same win over and over already inside him.

Can't wait for the betting odds for this. I'll be more on Sultan's side.

I hope that Sultan will be the underdog so I can bet more on him. He is an underrated fighter and I know he has improved a lot under MP promotion, so that's the reason I like him if he will be listed as the underdog in this fight, if not, then I might just sit this one and just watch the fight without a bet.

He will be the underdog because he is not the champion and his opponent is undefeated.

What I only like to see is the odds will be available early although the fight is one month from now, at least when the odds are available early, we can bet on Sultan and we might have the best value of odds.

Sultan coming from a big KO win against Carter, I guess that would help boost his confidence.

I believe sportsbooks' favorite here will be Caraballo, but the gap of odds? We don't know yet. But even x4 for Sultan is good enough to bet, as he is not very popular yet. So bookies may take him for granted and highly favor Caraballo here. Which of course, is great for those who will bet on Sultan. We've seen upsets this year, and this one may not be excluded in the upsets of the year. Maybe a week before the fight, the odds will be out from crypto sportsbooks.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🎥🎥🎥 CinemaDraft 🎥🎥🎥 Daily fantasy - but for the movies on: September 29, 2021, 08:49:28 PM
so 10% of the token supply will be used for marketing purposes, I think it's good, as some projects using smaller amounts for marketing
Well, it depends on the project strategy, if they feel they can't handle that much for marketing, it will give big loss impact for their project, especially for their tokens. However, a project have legitimate reason in reserving their tokens for marketing, they won't do it carelessly.
The first thing to deal with this, is provide liquidity in the exchange.

With 10% of the token supply towards marketing (33% of which is locked for two years to spread it out), we have chosen to dedicate more tokens in player rewards (Community Jackpot Fund - 8%), and controlled monthly liquidity (20%).

Keep in mind that those are just TOKENS used for marketing, not our marketing budget overall! Depending on the size of the token sale, transactional volume, market conditions, and the popularity of the game, we anticipate spending well above the value of our marketing tokens to promote the token, DEX launchpad, and game.

It is very important to actively promote the project. Therefore, marketing expenses are very necessary. People need to know about the project, its development and prospects.

A bounty promotion campaign have been started two days ago. It will run for four weeks, started at Sept. 28, 2021. Will end at Oct. 25, 2021. If you want to join the campaign and earn few bucks, here is the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5362805. The link to bounty campaign is missing in OP, should be added asap.

If their bounty program already started, then hopefully their thread will be more active as people will check this project. If not, then their marketing team should be more aggressive in reaching out the community. We will see how much interest will be given to this project. Can they attract potential buyers and reach their targets during their token sale?
423  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: September 28, 2021, 11:50:13 PM
I definitely will consider getting my payment in bitcoin if I ever get the offer from my boss. Of course, that' will serve as another huge opportunity of multiplying my bitcoin assets as buying with oneself money may be hard sometimes.
For those people who do know about the opportunities of bitcoin profits in near future will surely prefer on accepting this kind of pay but for those who doesnt have any idea will always prefer fiat.

So it all matter with preference but of course those decisions will really vary on your knowledge on certain things because its normal that you would be having that kind of decision if you dont have any idea at all.

But if you are a long time crypto user, you may prefer receiving fiat because you can always do your own trade and maybe get better rates than what your company is giving you. You can weigh better options when or where to buy your own crypto. But for some, they will opt for direct crypto payment so as to avoid the hustle of dealing with it. So yes, it depends on the preferences of the employee, where he will get much better deal.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: E-Naira: CBN to launches Nigeria’s digital currency on: September 28, 2021, 10:34:31 PM
In a bid to mark the Independence day with the lauch of the E-Naira digital currency eNaira website goes live, displays CBN digital currency features With all indications, the E-Naira talk is becoming a reality, but the question in place still remains "will E-Naira launch be a game changer to the country's economy system".

That can be seen in the next coming months or years. Hard to speculate this early as you have no idea about their citizens' approach on this matter. Will it be easy on them in accepting this digital currency? The adoption may take time but we will see if there will be an impact maybe at least after 6 months of implementation. The world is going digital these days, so this may help them in adopting a digital market.

Several partnerships on board, seems this P2E gaming platform is solid. Now, will be watching if you can achieve or surpass the popularity of Axie Infinity. So you can indeed claim to be the #1 Play2Earn NFT game. But based on your roadmap, your game public launch will be first quarter of next year. Do you think you can release earlier on this planned schedule?
426  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍒 Yaybet.com - 🎰 Slots 🎩 Live Casino & more! |⚡️ Instant BTC/ETH/LTC Cashouts on: September 28, 2021, 12:05:47 PM
Welcome to Yaybet!

The first 50 Bitcointalk users to claim the promo code "bitcointalk" will be credited $1.00 in BTC. This code can be claimed by clicking on the "Deposit" button after signing up, navigating to the promotions tab, and submitting the code.

wait , 1 dollar bonus?  can't you even make it at least 5$ for the first 50 bitcointalk users? lol what can we do in that 1$?  Grin

I am interested on your website and I wanted to test the features and games you have, play some rounds on each or probably one of your games and I think that $1 would be just 1 bet if you are really tight on budget I suggest to have at least a demo coins so players could test out your games and probably if we do like it, we will transfer some fund.

I have seen bets of $0.01 if you are tight with the budget and just want to experience first their games. So the $1, you can stretch it if you want but of course, don't expect it to grow big as it would take a lot of bets before you get something, that is, if you are always winning. And if you want to test it out, you can send small funds and bet small. But don't know how much is their minimum deposit here.
427  Other / Off-topic / Re: GGG will have a fight this year! (BOXING) on: September 27, 2021, 11:49:22 PM
GGG fought last year, so in this scheduled fight if it happen, he will be inactive for over a year.
I hope this is not his last fight, as though is not getting any younger, many are still hoping he would fight Canelo Alvarez one more time.

Being inactive for over a year is not really an issue. It's the usual rest period of a veteran boxer and we are in a pandemic situation that's why some fights are hard to arrange because of restrictions and event venue protocols. Before we think of a trilogy with Canelo, GGG should pass and defeat first Murata and see if his power is still there. Canelo is not looking forward to a rematch with GGG but in case we saw the latter still as explosive as before, he can call out Canelo once he won his upcoming fight in December.

Nice to see GGG again. That will be exciting to watch.

If in case there will be an upset, though the likelihood is low. Will GGG announce his retirement or will he ask for another fight before he retires? But I am guessing, GGG will be heavy favorite here once odds are out. But this year, we have seen several upsets and the latest was Joshua vs. Usyk.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: A poll in the USA to accept crypto as a legal payment on: September 27, 2021, 10:39:08 PM
It should be said that for the United States, there has never been an obvious hostility or opposition to cryptocurrencies like China. As far as I know, the number of U.S. merchants that support Bitcoin payments continues to increase. This will be a trend in the future, and merchants that support Bitcoin payments will earn more profits.

I am curious what will be the China's approach when all the other countries around them are crypto-friendly and people are enjoying the benefits brought about by blockchain technology. US may want to put regulations on crypto but it doesn't resort to what China had to do like totally banning crypto transactions. As of now, USA is still leading in terms of bitcoin trading. The road to crypto becoming legal payment may not be smooth but at least they are more open minded when it comes to new developments in technology.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No vaccine no entry Casino house! on: September 27, 2021, 11:25:32 AM
Some casinos maybe strict enough to require people to show their vaccination card before they can enter, and we have to understand that they are not making their own rules, it's most likely the directives of the government and I think it's not only in casinos but in places where it could gather a crowd.

In our country, face masks and face shields are only required, but I would not be surprised if soon they will also require people to get vaccinated first before they can enter.

Very soon, we may see other establishments following this kind of strict regulation with their customers. This may be their agreement with their government to push thru their opening with the business. With such restrictions, they can ask for more people inside their casino. For those who can't get in, then, it is time to play via online. There are so many advantages that you can get now playing via online.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Challenge with small investment in bitcoin on: September 26, 2021, 11:51:18 PM
I wish you good luck OP, I know you can reach your goal.
I know some people are doing that but as the problems and market arrive, they are in troubled and become emotional thinking negatively which I think you should have to be strong otherwise, you could be like them.
Only the thing I could say is that you don't need to rush, one step at a time. Just enjoy the market while investing, 10 years from now might you get 1 full Bitcoin, not impossible if you continue doing that.

This is the usual dilemma of some holders, when they see the market is crashing, they panic and sometimes such emotion will give them decisions that are not according to your initial plans. So when you start seeing the price is declining, but you believe the market will still recover, then don't sell your stash owed to your confusion of what to do. Just let it sit or maybe take this opportunity to buy more.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: September 26, 2021, 10:33:14 PM
I actually think on the contrary Jonas Sultan will increase his motivation in boxing because he got the best card in boxing against Caraballo, despite the fact that in the ring Caraballo is almost on average beating his opponent under the fifth round and he always carries a trophy.

It's true that Caraballo's career in the boxing arena has not been defeated, but I think Jonas Sultan should train even harder to fight Caraballo, October 30th this is the right and good opportunity to lift Jonas Sultan's career in boxing, I'm not siding with Jonas Sultan, I remember LEWIS beat TYSON back then, all can turn around not as we imagine, factor.

I'll wait for the betting odds before I will make a conclusion, Sultan might be the underdog here because he is not a champion and his opponent has a great record, so it's again an opportunity to beat the underdog as we all know that Filipino boxers are quality boxers, and the fact that he is working under MP promotion, it adds some confidence.

Caraballo is definitely will be the favorite of bookies here. However, we don't know how much gap they will give to these 2. So if the odds are high on Sultan, may be better to bet on him especially if the odds on Caraballo will be like 1.0x. These days, everyone can make an upset if he is truly prepared for the fight. So we can't really be sure here even if Caraballo has very good record and more popular than Sultan.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Instant Cryptocurrency Exchange Aggregator 💰 Alligat0r 💰 on: September 25, 2021, 11:30:25 PM
Is there a plan for your project, to launch your marketing campaign at this forum, such as running bounties and pay with any currencies?
It may sound a little strange, but for most projects, it is very effective in increasing user numbers and growing the community.
You can go to this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 to see how's the example.

If they have resources in the first place, they can always run their promotional campaigns. Because venturing in the crypto exchange business is not a small deal. You should have good bankroll to begin with, unless, you want to run like a fly-by-night exchange. But they can only prove their capability once they are up and running and we will see how much trading volume they can attract on this exchange.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Moonedge-decentralized launchpad fully dedicated to IDO on Polygon on: September 25, 2021, 09:21:38 PM
Polygon network is gaining popularity these days because of its advantages like lower fees. But do you think there are enough Matic-based projects that you can host on this platform and sustain the operations? Why not make a bridge with other networks and not only focusing on one rising network?
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: YOUVES: Minting Synthetic assets, Savings With Interest, and YOU Tokens. on: September 24, 2021, 11:33:04 PM
Do you have promotional activities that will let the community know that you have this project? There are so many defi platforms already that are competing in getting their clients. So thinking what would be your main offering to them and selling it as your main edge would be a good start to explore your opportunities in this market.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: September 24, 2021, 09:21:25 PM
Not actually referrals but that's the sole purpose why they've hired those streamers to show their audiences how to do it with the casino they're advertising.
Yeah, sure, they'll get a good cut on it if the streamer himself got a large following and most of them are adults and are certainly into gambling. That's the type of marketing that they want and surely hitting their target and niche.
Its been a common thing when it comes to marketing aspect on where streamers with having lots of followers would really be significant or would really be enough on what they had been targeting on and of course

those advertisers would really be having some good cut specially if they would really bring up lots of users in the platforms.I dont see for it to be unethical or deceptive because you do have the

own will on making out decisions whether you do play or not basing up on what you had seen.
What's deceptive are those fake bets that are appearing on the casinos. That's the unethical way of getting more gamblers because they're showing that they've got lots of bets but in fact that they're all fake. For the streamers that do get cut, surely they do they a cut but it's still depending on the contract that they'll sign with the casino that they'll advertise through their own platforms and channels.
Everything would really be have corresponding agreements but its just between the casino and the streamer of course.I dont have much idea on what are the average pay or cuts on this one though.

Yeah, its true that it is way too unethical on being too deceptive in regards on what they are trying to advertise out but as a viewer and does really make use of their own common sense

then you can really spot out these things directly.

I don't think these streamers will ever disclose how much they are getting paid. But if the streamer is a responsible one, he would not deceive his followers because sooner or later, their followers will soon realize about this deception and some of them may unsubscribe their channel. People talk and the word of mouth sometimes is a very powerful tool when it comes to marketing.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now you can pay highway tolls using Bitcoin on: September 23, 2021, 11:40:20 PM
I think this is the gateway for the heyday of bitcoin to have begun. I am very happy with the country of elsalvador that already uses bitcoin as a legal medium of exchange. Now I feel more happy to see this news. If bitcoin really becomes a means of paying for toll roads in the future, I'm sure there will be other institutions that use bitcoin as a means of payment.

Day by day, we are now hearing news that a merchant/shop or organizations/institutions that are starting to accept crypto not only bitcoin. In the next coming years, I think, the adoption will really grow as other countries are becoming more crypto-friendly. Also, a lot of people are discovering the potential of crypto and their advantages. As people or companies are realizing the benefits of integrating crypto, they will be more acceptable with this change.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ 🔥 [ANN] ⭐ AetherV2 ⭐ {building a bridge between science and cryptocurrency} ✅ on: September 23, 2021, 10:31:02 PM
wow, I read about partnership of Aether with an aerospace company. It sounds a little bit unreal, but if it's true, it is awesome. Can you tell about this company?
It's in here https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMoon/comments/pt30uf/aether_real_project_and_real_usecase_partnership/
The partner is https://www.arcaspace.com/ with official twitter account https://twitter.com/arcaspace, that twitter account has not make tweet for more than 2 months, I think a real uses cases project wouldn't make it look like that. Honestly, I really doubt the project is still alive.

This caught my attention from their twitter account. Seems it is true. But their thread here is very dull. Their marketing team should exert more effort promoting this project. Or they are already confident because they have partnership already with established company?

438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: September 22, 2021, 11:58:47 PM
Sadly the marketing world out there is absolutely ruthless and there is so much money involved with gambling, at such high profit margins, that it will continue until it is heavily regulated. The streamers also deserve a lot of the blame because they are sell outs with few morals, almost all are willing to drop their standards or feign ignorance if someone waves enough money infront of them. In some cases it will be seen as a badge of honor that they are being recruited and paid so much by any company, little do they know that they are just advertising pawns doing a lot of damage to the people watching their streams. It does need to be much more transparent and the actual streaming platforms should be more involved in monitoring people who are doing it so blatantly.

most new users are attracted by the possibility to win huge money in short period of time. if streamer shows how to win $50-$100 making small bets for several hours who will join the casino? so such kind of marketing is the result of the expectations.

And it is up to the user if he will take the bait. This is gambling, so they should know how things operate here. Watching their marketing ads are very tempting but once you played, it is totally different. So don't believe on things that you visually see because there are so many lies behind it.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ENC] Evol Network | Affiliate Marketing Plateform | Pre Sale Start on: September 22, 2021, 11:48:20 PM
Direct connections sounds really interesting for me, the Evol Network will connect you directly to whatever vendor or affiliate you think is best for you, very useful function

Their mission sounds great but let us see how effective they are in actual implementation of the project. Most of the time, you feel that a project has very nice objectives, but when it comes to actual services, it is not what you expected them to be. So we will truly see their performance once they are catering their customers with their respective services.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 22, 2021, 11:12:19 PM
This is really bad news, I was expecting for Casimero to fight Inoue as there were reports that both fighters wanted the fight, it seems the WBO got tired of waiting and if there is nothing on paper about the fight happening Casimero will have no other option but to fight Butler, sometimes I wonder what promoters are actually thinking? The fight of Casimero vs Inoue would have most likely produced more profits than this fight and yet here we are, it seems we may have to wait even longer for the fight to actually take place.

I don't understand how it becomes bad news? It's a good match. What's the difference between if Casimero will fight Inoue this year or next year?

More importantly, there's already an arrange fight to Casimero that is more realistic to happen compared to endless speculation involving Inoue and Donaire. It's put an end to all rumors and expectations that Inoue is the next opponent for Casimero.

Just enjoy the show. The match between Casimero and Inoue will happen soon. Remember that it was well-prepared already before and just waiting for the fight date but just got delayed and halted.

Yes, this is not just about a rumor or something but it is already officially ordered. If Casimero will win on this fight, then, high likely that they will set-up the fight with Inoue, probably early next year. So this is a challenge for Casimero. Because if he lost, I don't think fight with Inoue will materialized and his trash talking may stop for a while.
