1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin hacker moved the stolen BTC. on: September 28, 2020, 11:16:27 PM
Based on me Googling for a minute, it seems like surprisingly this KuCoin hacker didn't even mix or coinjoin the coins(at least yet). What is it with successful exchange hackers and them not mixing/CoinJoining their coins? It seems to be the obvious move lmao; or am I missing something on why they don't do it?
For sure, the hacker/s got some idea about this part, is mixing the Bitcoins they hacked on Kucoin. They already have done the difficult part, which is getting inside the system of Kucoin, for sure the latter part will become easy for them.
Maybe they will first wait for the issue of this hack will be somehow forgotten for a moment or another issue will pop up and this Kucoin hack will somehow lay low before the hacker/s will start another move again on how they will make those Bitcoins fresh or converted to cash or other cryptocurrencies.

Typical precaution from hackers. They will let the situation die down before moving their stolen stash. Would be stupid if they will not use any of those mixer services. But the addresses can be tag and don't know how they can get away from it. But definitely, they will get something out of it even if some hacked coins are frozen.

A reminder for all crypto users that no matter how secure an exchange is, they will be vulnerable to hackers as softwares are getting sophisticated these days.

1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Mark Magsayo vs Rigoberto Hermosillo on Oct 3 on: September 25, 2020, 11:03:14 PM
Exciting fight, the Filipino fighter has an impressive record, undefeated with 14 Ko from 20 wins.

Do we have a betting odds for this one already?

That's what I want to know also.

@Baofeng, since I noticed that you frequently posted about upcoming boxing matches, can you also add in your OP the list of sportsbookies that are having this specific match?
We can also help by posting the sites having their odds in place already.
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TOKEN SALE] 🔥Huobi Russia - branch of Huobi Group is now in Russia!🔥 on: September 25, 2020, 07:12:00 AM
It is undoubtedly very good that Huobi is starting its actions towards expanding its presence in the Russian cryptocurrency market. In addition, given the growing number of Russian cryptocurrency users, the benefits will indeed be enormous. It's just not clear how the negative impact of the Russian Government on the turnover of cryptocurrencies will be reflected on Huobi.

The HuobiRussia account is more than one year inactive already. So is their branch still active in Russia? Their website and exchange site -[ https://www.huobi.com.ru/ru-ru/ ] are still up but if someone will ask assistance from here, I don't think they can get answers from their official rep.

1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: September 24, 2020, 10:43:36 PM
That's a very good point, they probably need a big payday prior to their retirement, you know life after boxing is different as they have to work outside boxing or manage their business, that is provided they have good savings or have invested from what they earn during their boxing career.

I guess whoever lose this fight might struggle to find a big fight if he still want to continue fighting, so it's a big fight for both it needs to be big that would satisfy their wallets.

This is maybe the reason why they moved the fight date and hoping that they will get money from the gate, if in case they will be allowed to accept live audience. That's another revenue for the match. Boxing is really not a forever career. At some point, the boxer needs to stop and just live on whatever he made during his boxing career. They need to be smart, otherwise, they will be like those poor boxers that can't even support themselves.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WolfAge Finance][Shared economy of crypto business models] on: September 24, 2020, 04:04:12 AM
I think it's funny how involved you are with this and how much time you spend trying to make any connection.
Yeah they are a bit suspicious but your points are laughable, if you see them exist scamming or leaving, you will have a point.
I think they've rushed the project out to catch the hype train, but they are still here.
You are way too involved , maybe you know them and have a grudge against them? Something is fishy either way. No one can waste so much time with nothing to gain or no connection to obsess over something.
Anyway, let's see what the future brings, until then you are man who yells at clouds, with a very questionable mental state.

I'm watching it closely, so much FUD around this project. No idea who is it in the right, but I'm really curious about his future, if it has any.

Go ahead and make a new puppet account and try again...

I had this account for a longer time than you. But I had no reason to log into it until now.
If you think that I'm defending this project, think again.
I'm only saying that you are in the same boat regarding the trust level.

Time will be the judge what will be the fate of this project. It is too early to give them certain label. But if there are some warning signals, don't ignore it. Also, if a user is not convenient or do not feel that his funds are not safe, just move on to the next project. Anyway, no one is obliging to send their money to any of these defi platforms. This is a very risky investment right now. So it is your own self who is responsible to the fate of your funds.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 22, 2020, 03:54:05 AM
If you become frustrated from the loss in gambling then it will hurt you a lot. First your mood will not be good and you will not think from your mind while playing gambling. Secondly and more importantly when you are frustrated, you will try to recover your loss urgently and put more money in gambling without thinking. This may make you lose more.
People cannot let themselves be frustrated by the lack of results when they gamble, I know it can be hard especially in sports betting in which you are waiting for another score to fulfil your bet but that is just the way the game works, it is important to not let this bother us because if it does you run the risk of making a mistake in the future and bet too much in a game trying to recover your money and while this will work from time to time the chances you will lose due to your altered emotions is very high.
Being impulsive would really be a problem as a gambler not only on making you to do careless acts or decisions which would really worst the situation even more.
The enjoyment and thrill do you really seek thats why you do play either on sports betting or luck based ones.Knowledge on games is really important for some
reason or a particular game but for some then just like others said it isnt really that much needed because you can just put your bet then simply roll and
wait for the result not on watching sports which you would really need to wait and witness on how your bet goes.

But that is if you just want to pass the time and enjoy your bet, there's no need to seriously think which bet will have high probability of winning. But for most sports bettors, the more they know the game, the team, the persons involved, the higher is their chance to pick a good bet. But for others who is just an occasional bettor, just select what your instincts is telling you, no need to overthink about it. But let's admit it, even if we are not so serious with our bet, we are hoping that we will win after the game.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: September 20, 2020, 11:45:45 PM
Yes. They are some porjects that good at start and end with scam. An some bounty managers  don't mind  about the project, they are just doing their work, paid and go. But since we're here in this business in years, It's our job to do research carefully  about the project before joining the campaign.

But do you know that a lot of this alt bounty managers were also rekt by these campaigns? I believe a lot of them were not paid as well. So as you can observed, most of them already stopped their services because their effort were also wasted by these crap projects. As a participant, you should know how to assess the project, if it is real or not, or just wasting your time.

I do commend those BMs that only accept btc or eth paying campaigns. That means, their participants are definitely getting paid at the end of each week. And most of them are reputable BMs.
1349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin Shilling Question on: September 20, 2020, 10:59:29 PM
So is coin Shilling have really real influence over the coin price?
If so then If the cryptocurrency news talk about Some Coming project this will make price Go high in Short time of period?

How much the Shilling usually makes coin Go Up?
100% in 24 hours is that true?

In general, coin shilling can really influence the price.

But people are not that dumb to just go with the flow. We do have our own way to determine if that shilled coin is totally trash or not. We have seen lots of coin shillers doing their best to promote their coin but without them giving us a good reason why should we join the party, it will just be totally ignored.

There is also no exact figures on how much a coin can go up. It depends on how the community will react to that coin.

It may work in the beginning but when people realized that there's nothing in it, they will just go away from this project. But yes, it usually affects the price at the early stage of shilling. But people are not dumb as before. A lot of people do know now how to spot a crap project already.
1350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exactly 10 years ago Someone did a transfer of 184M BTC on: September 20, 2020, 10:19:11 PM
Well, this has happened in the past. At a tike when bitcoin is still in its young and starting phase. But even then, the bug problem was easily resolved by the responsible people behind the bitcoin's codes. Which is why I think that exploiting bugs as these if there are still any would be pretty hard. Although it may not he impossible, a person who'd pull off such a feat would be better off earning more in advertising his skills and getting jobs that would gain him better benefits.

Yes, I do agree with that. That person should get real job instead. Because btc developers are always on this that they won't let other people with ill intentions ruin this wonderful creation of Satoshi. These hackers should use their skills in other valuable activities. They may not get huge money but it will be self rewarding.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 20, 2020, 06:57:29 AM
Can you explain guys how risky is to provide liquidity? I heard term impermament loss but I don't know what are the chances that it will become a permament loss? I kept half of my UNI I want to know what are the chances that I'll lose money on this and how much I can earn per month by pooling 200 UNI?

i figure that you got your UNI from airdrop or UNI's giveaway so are you going to lose, if you are keep half of your airdrop you already made profit from selling half of your airdrop you in fact made profit from that free money and you are just hoping that it will continue to make profit for you.

Even if he will lose the half number of tokens from airdrop, he is already in the winning side. So he's risking the other half for potential profits and that's understandable. But he should closely follow the developments and price performance in the market, and if it will not do well in the succeeding months, better sell those while it has still good value.
1352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: September 19, 2020, 11:44:26 PM
I would like to contribute to what OP has said
Having a trade journal
As the name implies a trade journal is either a book or an online spreadsheet where you can record all your trades, having a trade journal is a must for every crypto trader, because it plays a vital role in keeping you composed in order for you to trade according to your strategy, having a trade journal helps you to take note of everything you felt and learnt from a trade, thereby helping you to acknowledge your thoughts and emotion triggers behind every trade.

I think, that's too much for me. If you are an active trader, this will be a headache to do. Maybe jot down all your tips and tricks, but recording all your trades? That's not helpful for me. Maybe for others, but this will eat my time. And I don't think it has significant value from my end.
1353  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful of new email Bitcoin scammers, read this on: September 19, 2020, 10:53:45 PM
Similar like this email our inbox is getting full with lots of fake emails. As we all know that some dishonest platforms sell their users database to others and purchasing emails for marketting purpose is nothing new. This scammers have got OP's email address somehow and sending emails to to get some easy money by giving threats.

I don’t think anyone will believe their stories where they are trying to prove them as hacker. Just ignore this type of emails and report it as spam. Thanks for letting us know about this and i hope forum newbies will not get panicked after having this kind of email. Stay alert, stay safe.

Scammers will try their best to dupe those naive users that will panic. And if you are pretty secure with your laptop or computer, then, there's nothing to worry about. Poor attempt to grab money from users.
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] THIRM PROTOCOL - DeFi Revolution on: September 19, 2020, 09:44:21 PM
another DeFi project? same as usual no team profile

why DeFi need revolution when it was just born?

what makes your project different from another DeFi project?

they do have team picture on their website, check carefully before you replying to avoid missundertood, ive been explore their website and found their team informations and picture on about sections, maybe they dont put it here, but its available on website

https://thirm.com/about

yes, they do have it
but, i don't see any social media link such as linkedin or something else about the team members buddy

Just another DeFi platform trying to ride the bandwagon. They only have photos and names, no profile links whatsoever. Their whitepaper is also substandard. Not a comprehensive one. Like a very generic whitepaper. I don't see any outstanding feature that this will be a DeFi revolution. Just my 2 cents.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 19, 2020, 12:05:59 PM
Bounty scam will not go away as long as there are hunters that are willing to join even if the project is an obvious scam. But it is good to see that there are now social media campaigns that are bitcoin paying. Though we already saw that before, but seems, it is going back again. The good thing is that the manager handling that campaign does accept btc and not token or unknown alt. That is also for the welfare of the participants. At least, they are sure that they are getting paid with valuable coin rather than worthless token that is not yet listed in an exchange.
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap discussion on: September 18, 2020, 10:26:19 PM
1. Bitcoin does not have any use case.

This is obviously incorrect, and you didn't bother to mention what the use case for UNI was. Uniswap did fine before they launched their token -- why do people need it?

Only about 10% of the total supply has been released on to the market but its already at #30 on CMC with a nearly $700 million market cap. As these markets are indeed irrational it could go up double from here is my guess, unless the team starts releasing more tokens onto the market.

In few months time, we will know the true strength of UNI in the market. When most of these DeFis are not active anymore. Because I believe we are still in hype so people are attracted to Uni. However, when most of these traders realized that they are trading crap DeFi tokens, they will stop patronizing these projects. And so it is interesting to see if the UNI price will still increase or decrease in the next coming months.
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another shower thought about tainted bitcoins on: September 18, 2020, 11:48:15 AM
Wait til mixing and coinjoining becomes the norm(hopefully someday, hopefully something built in on wallets that sort of happens automatically or something) that all circulating bitcoin becomes so called "tainted". By then, there will almost no be any tainted bitcoin and exchanges wouldn't be able to complain.

I like that kind of scenario. If it will happen, no more business for these mixers or coinjoin services. I think there's possibility in the future that someone will create a btc wallet or crypto wallet that has mixer in it. Everything is possible in this space. So looking forward on that moment. Don't know how exchanges can still trace those tainted bitcoins. If that time will ever come, these hackers will be very happy.
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GULDEN (NLG): PoW2 - SIGMA - SEGSIG - Become a Witness and secure your future. on: September 17, 2020, 11:58:41 PM
Very old project. But what are the major accomplishments so far? A lot are aiming to be the next payment gateway, but how many merchants so far has accepted gulden to be included in their payment system? Is the guldenmap updated? Does it mean that all those merchants in your guldenmap are accepting your coin?
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 17, 2020, 11:32:36 PM
governments arent the one that give you that but you should be the one that hunt for that . sure there are job expo that government provide but that was not conducted everyday and that is only done seasonal but most of the jobs are not built to earn passive income but its mainly full time . you can earn profit thru btc and you arent forced to use that btc of your either to pay for the bills if you dont like its volatility . you can use you btc income to build a business that can provide you a stable income

Usually, projects offering passive income is actually not true. Remember those masternode coins offering passive income, most of them disappear before you even get your initial investments. I don't know any job offering passive income but I don't know exactly why the OP is saying btc can't pay our bills. Of course it can, if you have your btc convert it to your fiat and pay your bills. If he is talking about earning btc, of course, it is really hard to earn btc without giving any effort.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Transparent in it if team behind the coin is anonymous on: September 17, 2020, 11:06:34 PM
They are not copying satoshi. What they do is trying to avoid future implications if they have bad thoughts and results about their project.

No one will be followed, no one will get sued if the team is anonymous. This is why it's good to follow those projects that has a known team and is composed of people that has experience in cryptocurrencies, not just the typical expert that the media says.

That's the main reason why most projects are anonymous, to evade potential legal issues in the future. Because most of them have the intentions to rip money from naive users, and disappear once they collected money, disclosing their team members will a big threat for them. So if you see a poor quality project raising funds, please don't spend your hard -earned money because more than likely, you will be screwed big time.
