441  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Any idea for poor people? on: March 01, 2018, 08:29:55 PM
As we already know there are a lot of poor people in every country of the world, they surely do not have access to the internet and as the digital money is changing the world people are debating over the existence of real money all the virtual money. And as we know the government and the banks are printing more and more money which is reducing the initial value of the physical currency and all of this is going to be most painful for them. So now people are switching to the digital world so what should we do for the poor peoples should we make a system or let them take their life. I think if somehow we can make them literate then that is going to reduce the number of poor people in a country.

I'm surviving in Venezuela. Even when i consider that i'm pretty poor myself for now(Since i'm barely starting), at least i found the way to afford internet connection(With less than 1mb) and that makes me feel more fortunate. What i mean with this is that i see how the corrupts ruling the country gives people small gifts. For example, for registering in their system and getting one card called "Carnet de la patria" which you need to have access to free health and other stuffs, which i personally don't use since i prefer anything than selling myself to some dictators, and also to the woman who gets pregnant, which makes them get pregnant only and exclusively for that. I know, it sounds crazy, but it's what i see everyday.

If you give too many free stuffs to people they will think that it's their right that you maintain them, or give them anything they want. So they don't study, they don't spend time making themselves grow to become a much better person and of course, they don't work. But the last part is that they will have this egocentric attitude, they will think that they are the best in the world because you are giving them free money, which only makes society a lot worse and creates really bad quality people.

Bitcoin is an amazing opportunity to leave poverty behind, no matter from where you come from and where you started, thats what i'm trying to do myself. But you have to leave the sweat and blood on the floor and keep going. That will teach you the best lessons in life.

By that i don't mean that you don't have to help anybody, i always donate 10% of what i earn(Not much for now, but i have faith that it will be a lot more in the future if i continue improving myself) to charity. But pick the right charity, something that for example helps people which otherwise would die and educate them to work for themselves, not maintaining it forever. It could be a refugee for pets, since is not their fault that irresponsible humans are around or really small kids, it's not their fault neither.

It's a matter of giving opportunities to the people who is willing to work really hard for them. I will continue no matter how difficult things are here to work towards finding those opportunities and god knows i won't let even one pass by when they come.

I feel sincerity in your words, because you are living this situation on your daily life and somehow it's similar to what happened/happens in my country. That is all true. And I would say many poor people aren't willing to literate themselves, even if they had the opportunity, because they are on their confort zone, receiving pennies from these evil governments that only intent to keep these people on the ignorance, so they can reign over the wreckage.

And for these poor people it's fine... It's acceptable. That is how they were told to behave since always. And there aren't possible solutions on short/medium term. The damage these socialists/communists caused in Latin America will take decades to be totally repaired.

5 satoshis reward every 60 minutes. Claimed it fine without delays, thank you.
Very low reward anyway, I think if faucets can't afford to pay more than this anymore, it's better to close the doors.  Sad
443  Economy / Marketplace / Re: market now on: March 01, 2018, 05:05:26 PM
Talking to the market is always fluctuating. Not only bitcoin so we do not worry too. Experience and a little luck will succeed
Right now, the market is not that much good as it needs to be. However, if we compare the current market situation with the situation which was few weeks earlier, then we’ll be glad to know that things are getting better and that the market value of most of the crypto coins have started rising? Though, the market values has not increased up to that much value as we were expecting but still something is better than nothing.

Current market is way much better than what it was previously and also it is more stable than before. This is a positive sign as the market is getting resistance at this level and rising slowly is good sign as well for the btc. So overall it is an good market to buy the coins for investment.

Yes, some weeks ago it was worse because the correction was on its boom. It's normal that now things are becoming more stable as the storm has already passed. The fluctuations are already happening, and will always happen, but for now it's more calm. When the price becomes more stable like this it's a good sign, it's a propitious scenario for a pump in BTC's price.

445  Economy / Economics / Re: What is The actual senses about bitcoin for common people ? on: March 01, 2018, 05:48:41 AM
People more connected to the virtual world and that work on this environment still have more knowledge about Bitcoin than the rest of people that might have heared about the virtual currency, but nothing more than this. Common people fear Bitcoin because they don't have many correct informations about it. They heared someone talking about, they have seen on the television (being told in a negative way) and that is an issue for mass adoption, it delays the process.

Would be very good if people that don't work on the internet started accepting Bitcoin too. It would help improving the knowledge of common people about the subject, bringing even more people to adopt Bitcoin.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2018, 03:20:46 AM
I believe what Bitcoin can change in the world is the financial system, and when it becomes part of the currently financial system this change isn't happening. Then I really don't know why people are investing, what I know is that they aren't investing for changes, as they cheer each new step towards centralization, and once Bitcoin becomes part of this centralized system profit rates will decrease considerably.

So it's not for changes, not for money, but maybe just to turn the new into the old one and to keep the system going on...
(Surely it's not happening totally consciously).
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: XRPBust Is Looking For Bankroll Investors ! on: March 01, 2018, 02:01:01 AM
If you are still looking for investors for your site then why were you looking to sell it less than two weeks ago(ten days ago to be exact)?

XRPbust.com 10 BTC
Unless your have found enough investors to save your site and thus decided to keep it instead. Undecided

Well, indeed it looks very strange...

I also would like to say the house's profit is negative at this moment, and here we have a newbie account asking for money. Combining these facts I don't see it as a good sign. It would be a very risky investment. No offense OP, but we need to put all these details on the balance to analyze the situation better.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin must come back to its original use - currency ! on: March 01, 2018, 12:42:49 AM
I believe except for the fact governments are trying to regulate Bitcoin heavily, everything is happening as it should be. Bitcoin gives us the chance to grow wealth by holding it on long term and there isn't any problem about. Makes no sense to keep spending it now while many others will be holding and enjoying the increasement in price on long term, while you will have nothing stored. It's upon to each one of us, and holders shouldn't be blamed for it, especially the little ones who collects each penny with a lot of sacrifice.
449  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I wanna make a poll about investor behavior on: February 28, 2018, 11:16:25 PM
A search like that you want is hard to do, especially on this forum thread's format. Crypto-Currency is a vast world with people accessing its features from everywhere, very hard to track investor's characteristics, behaviors, profiles, etc. What you will find here are some personal opinions, but that may not reflect the reality in numbers. I believe there is a common mindset shared by many investors.

They don't know much about Crypto-Currency, want fast profit, always looking for alternative currencies to invest (as they want faster profit than BTC can make), investing their exceeding money in a monthly basis and using local friends or sites (from their country) as source of information.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: February 28, 2018, 07:25:53 PM
Gambling Affects your life either in a good or bad way in the long run. Some of those effects that can change your life are:

Good Effects:
*Can make money easily (not guaranteed)
*Gives so much pleasure
*Meeting new friends
*Can increase your assets

As easy money isn't a guaranteed and on long term it's very probable you will lose, it's not a positive effect. Seems attractive, but nothing more than this.
Gives pleasure for those who enjoy the activity, it's their hobby and indeed it's a positive effect.
I don't know if people are used to make friendship while gambling. I think a bit strange to make friends in a place where it's all about money.  Cheesy

Bad Effects:
*Big loss
*Increased on your debt
*Loss jobs
*Depression/Stressed
*Broken Family/Failed on relationship
*Insufficient Funds

Despite of this effects many people are still want to continue gambling, how can you handle this possible effects of gambling in your life?

These are serious gambling's effects if the gambler doesn't know how to control his emotions. But fortunately, all these effects can be avoided if the gambler is responsible and has a balanced life.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: February 28, 2018, 02:51:24 AM
As long as you win you cannot calculate how much your winnings or your looses but when in terms I have a huge amount of looses ,I stop and rest because getting avoid to get addicted on playing gambling too much.Gambling is for fun and I dont want to waste my time or money on it.

In fact its easy to monitor your losses instead of monitoring your winnings because everytime we won, we still loss in the end. Gambling makes pleasure for you, but at higher cost specially when doing it without any goal. I won before but that’s it because I know when to stop and to secure some profit.

Most likely losing is the final result or you will end up in a no profit or no loss zone generally. People become crazy and considered to earn as a money income source from this gambling which is not easy and if you own excess money you can gamble else always be smart so that you know what is your limit and when you should be stopping the game.

That is a fact about gambling, In fact very few people may be getting profit from gambling while the rest of the people are facing lost in gambling, and the only reason is they they do not play gambling in a limit. They want to continue playing gambling and make more and more money, but they are ignoring the fact that in gambling games we are mostly depending on our luck and it is not possible for a person to become lucky for every bet, therefore we need to play gambling in a limit which can prevent us from a big lost.

In the end it always become a snowball that people don't even know from where to start calculating their losses. Anyway, even putting a limit on your gambling's game, the gambler must be aware there won't be winnings on long term if he plays only games that rely 100% on luck. And although it's very disturbing to calculate losses on long term, to see how much has already been lost in gambling, it's necessary to be aware about the problem's size.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India taking measures to control crypto on: February 28, 2018, 01:10:44 AM
I see politicians are very interested in Bitcoin's technology, Blockchain, they like it very much, but when they start talking about Bitcoin... Then the talk's climate changes totally to negative. I think it's not even needed to put a link here to news related to India and Bitcoins. It's well known India's government doesn't like Bitcoin and have already warned their citizens to take care with BTCs and even compared it to a Ponzi scheme.

It's a pitty their government acts like that as India is one of the countries that most support Bitcoin.
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: how do you think about bitcoin prices from last year compared to this year? on: February 27, 2018, 11:42:25 PM
I think bitcoin prices have decreased compared to last year.

Do you think?  Cheesy

Many experts expected this to happen because the price was increasing too fast last year and a correction was inevitable. Some news about regulations in some countries also affected Bitcoin's price, because it involves investors behavior and exchanges traffic/performance. But if we think more about it, BTC price isn't so bad, it seems very stable near $10.000-$11.000, it's just waiting a while to get more breath and go up strongly again.
454  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do I avoid tax on crypto on: February 27, 2018, 10:36:11 PM
But I think we can still demand fair taxing system in case they became unreasonable on their decisions.
Lol, the tax system has been unfair for decades, and you think we have even a slight chance of changing that? If there is one thing that we have seen become reality, then it's the fact that the tax rates have only increased.

In no shape or form will people be able to demand anything from the government. Instead, it's the government that demands us to abide by all their ridiculous tax rates, which should be clear by now.

The only thing we are good for, is being used as cash cow for the government, and in case we're trying to avoid being a cash cow, the government will come after you and milk the money out of you, that's how it goes.
Yes, I admit that it is really an unfair system but what can we do about it? There is nothing wrong about tax, those government officials imposing tax system which creates more burden to people are the ones really making us more poor and they are all benefiting on it which makes us sick.

You can start speaking against it. It's already a beginning.

In my country things reached too far until people started seeing how harmful is to be a pacific sheep being guided by wolves directly to the slaughtery. People accepted more and more taxes without resistance and without quality services being offered for too long. And now it's ridiculous to see a country with one of the biggest tax burden of the world broken!

Once people acquire conscience about what is happening on their own countries and start speaking out about it, things will start improving.
The question is if they do have the conscience? If they do have that thing then lucky for a certain country because possibilities of development or changes is still there but how about countries just like mine which it is being known to be one of the most corrupt countries even up to this date?I don't see any hope on such changes on my lifetime. This is why sometimes I do think paying up taxes is really useless at all.

It's indeed worthless and that is the conscience people here are acquiring. Now they are seeing the abuse the local government is committing since a long time ago and how useless are the taxes as there aren't decent services in return and all we see is mockery and corruption. It's a slow process, but at least it's happening.

I'm not saying people want to live in an anarchy, without paying anything, but they want to pay less, because as it is now it's abusive and when we talk about Crypto-Currency it makes no sense to pay taxes for this... On the other hand, there are always these people who just want to frighten those who are unsatisfied and seeking for changes, saying: Nothing can be done, you will be arrested, it won't end good for you...

But no one is saying about violate the rules, but to change them to make it fair for all parts.

About corrupt countries, it's indeed very frustrating to not be in sintony with our countrymen. Sometimes seems we are swimming against the tide and that nothing will happen as most people are alienated and following previous patterns that just make the system's maintenance. But it's important to always keep some hope inside our hearts, because without hope we become bitter and it just bring negative effects over us along the time...

456  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What makes you choose a crypto product? on: February 27, 2018, 07:25:46 PM
What you mean exactly by Crypto product? An exchange, a currency, a technology, a service?

I would choose it based on my interest for that particular thing. If it looks attractive for me I may give it a try, looking reviews and other's opinions first about it. If it looks too unprofessional, shady, then I would avoid it. However, the main point here is to have real interest on the 'product', because it can be very professional and reputable, but if it's not personally interesting, it won't be desirable anyway.
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitconnect Ponzi scheme... on: February 27, 2018, 06:33:39 PM
I had a lot of folks close to me get caught up in this scheme. There are so many of these operations that operate in this typically criminal scheme. Obviously, CC isn't regulated like the NASDAQ or NYSE markets. My question is, what does everyone think of these type of situations? This is much different than a bankrupt exchange stealing money, this seems like a pure Ponzi scheme.

Regards!
In reality every human system is a ponzi scheme especially the financial aspects. You should not expect every too things good to be truth to last forever. We are having cryptocurrencies markets for the first time in the history of humanity and you should not expect things to be fine from beginning. Bitconnet is one of those things that we should play smart and get out as fast as possible.

I believe every human systems aren't the same as Ponzies. Legit people won't scam others, even if their businesses don't do well. It's true nothing last forever, but it's not because everything is a Ponzi scheme, but because it's how things work, constantly changing, but we expect it keeps changing for better and not for worse. And in this case, better than getting out the scheme faster as possible, it's to just don't join it.  Cheesy
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20 year old girl with 300 bitcoin, still in a pity situation. on: February 27, 2018, 05:46:27 PM
It was her own fault. She didn't believe BTC's potential on that time, otherwise she would have found a better way to store her money safely, not spending or letting other people spend it meanwhile. There are many other stories like that and many about people who don't remember where they put their Bitcoins years ago and now they are desperate trying to find it.

But it's never too late to start again!
459  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The average reward in faucets on: February 27, 2018, 05:15:39 PM
Thank you everyone for your answers! I really appraciate that!

I have one more question: In the past, the best rewards were always given by BTC faucets. Is it still like that? I mean, do the altcoins faucets still give smaller prizes than the BTC faucets, or maybe something changed?

Sometimes there are better AltCoin's faucets than many BTC's faucets, sometimes they are worse and in most cases the rewards are similar in fiat.

Good faucets are hard to find, and when you find one, it doesn't last for a long time, so enjoy it maximum as possible while you can.

I'm more focused in using faucets which give us chances to earn big prizes, even if the chance is little. Like FreeBitco.in (up to $200), FreeDoge.co.in (up to $150) and I'm testing one called FreeNem.com (up to $300) too, but this one I'm not sure yet if pays. As you see, doesn't matter the currency, but the fiat prize.

I suggest you to calculate the reward in fiat of each AltCoin faucet you use.

A good idea with converting to fiat, I always compare to btc Wink  Thanks for the advice.

You wrote that you don't know if you will receive a reward. Does this mean that faucets no longer use wallets/services for micropayments?

Most faucets still pay directly to Micro Payment Systems (instantly), but some of them pay only to your wallet, so you need to claim a lot on the site until you are able to withdraw to your adress. All those faucets I mentioned offering higher prizes ($150, $200, $300) work this way. About FreeBitco.in and FreeDoge.co.in I'm sure I will receive the payment as both sites are here for years and we know its owner's legitimacy.

Only about FreeNem.com I'm not sure yet, because the site is new.

After all, most faucets with their own wallets after time have become scams..  Roll Eyes

You mean faucets that don't pay to Micro Payment Systems? If so, yes, many of them turn into scam on the exact moment their faucet isn't sustainable anymore. Many people avoid this kind of faucet and they aren't wrong about it. But there are exceptions.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of bitcoin on: February 26, 2018, 10:42:50 PM
bitcoin tried to combat banks and the banking system by keeping everything decentralized, government is corrupt by banking system and there for it fights bitcoin.

Banks + governments = mafious organizations. They only worry about their personal results. Governments are temporary and they know without results (at least theorical results on the spreadsheet) they won't survive on the political environment for much time. They want people depending on them to survive and Bitcoin gives the opposite to people, their independence.

Banks and assistentialism become worthless with Bitcoin, so they are too worry to become worthless on their countries and to lose all the benefits they have controlling the nations. They fear the superior caste doesn't exist anymore...
