Primedice is very reliable in payouts.

Dicebitco.in is very nice but not sure if you can fully trust them already.

"Who wants Free Money?"

Everybody, but there is no such thing in the world.
463  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] - Netflix 12 month GC on: August 12, 2014, 04:55:20 AM
Why would a code that saves 120$ in fees only be worth 30$. Doesn't make sense!
464  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will my college dorm room be able to handle 3000W? on: August 12, 2014, 04:51:45 AM
Hi, I'm new here.  I was thinking of buying this miner:
http://gawminers.com/collections/all-miners/products/shipped-pre-order-september-6-th-s-spondoolies-tech-sp30-yukon-batch-1

and bringing it to college to use it.  I live in a single room in a building that was created in the last 5 years.  While I don't know much about electricity and the like, I am worried that the miner I was going to buy will draw too much electricity.  I wouldn't want to cause a short or something like that.  I do not want to damage the room's electrical circuits/wall outlets.  I guess my main question is whether I'd be able to plug my bitcoin miner into a wall outlet and begin using it or if I'd need to take special precautions?  Would I have to use both the plugs that are provided with the miner? Or could I just plug it into one outlet?  Also do you guys have any tips I should keep in mind?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Google says:
UK power outlet is rated at 240V and at 13A which works out to ~3120W
North America, a 120V receptacle is going to be on a 20A breaker; so ~2400W

Probably not, but maybe you could split the units draw between two outlets?

edit: Updated Information

That won't help if they are on the same circuit. I doubt his room will have two of those.

obviously trading vol been too low of late so someones taken the advantage to play the market  Smiley

too many people saying they'd top up on ltc if it falls below $5 to have it not bounce imo.

That is what they say. The orderbooks say otherwise. Doesn't look too good atm!

funny thats exactly how I arrived at my conclusion   Wink

Yeah, but nothing can be done really, if it starts to seriously tank, then the measly orders that you and me could put on are dust in the wind!
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 0.2 FEE!!!! ? am i missing something? on: August 12, 2014, 04:48:52 AM
The best thing to do right now is the go outside and take a walk in the park, haha I honestly would be so pissed.

Forget it and everything will be fine Smiley
Or maybe be more careful when sending such amounts of money. You double check the amount you give in cash to a register too right?

I've sent .4 BTC to the wrong address before. If you don't think about it it's not a big deal. Everyone makes mistakes, oh well.

Sure it happens. But I still think that the irreversable nature of BTC is a huge advantage, not a disadvantage as people are trying to make it out to be!
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Black Tuesday for altcoins! on: August 12, 2014, 04:47:02 AM
Bitcoin is going down also.

If all alt coins are denominated in bitcoin, shouldn't this be considered normal?

No, because the coins go down by a factor of 10!

Exactly.  But also, when Bitcoin pops hard most alts go up by a factor of 10-100.  The key is buy them at the bottom which I think is now...or maybe in a week or two.  We're definitely near the bottom I would say but I thought so last month.  lol.

Or those high market caps were fads all along and there is no real floor. We will see soon enogh I guess Wink
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Final capitulation crash incoming, drop your bags & hope now! on: August 12, 2014, 04:46:20 AM
Well it does seem like there's finally some action. Unfortunately the price is going the wrong way and I don't see any news about why. Alt coin holders are saying their coins are dropping more though.

Alts are flat out getting pummeled.  Of course, there isn't any kind of agreed-upon index, but based on some concepts I've been messing around with, if you subtract out BTC and LTC, the rest of the alt market is down 20-30% over the last week.

Right now, TOTAL crypto market cap is 7.905 billion.  BTC and LTC make up more than $7.6 billion. EVERYTHING else combined...hundreds of alts, don't combine to make $300mm in cap.

That is partly due to 3 big IPOs running atm. Ethereum, StorJ and Syscoin.

I think ethereum coins are getting sold in the market, this is what people should think before buying into greedy ipos, they should think that they will crash their own coins because those owners will sell their coins asap.

Maybe, but people apparently rather buy now and have their coins locked for months.

People are selling to join Ethereum, StorJ and Syscoin. Also Stellar is not helping.

This is not soley a LTC problem but all alts.

And the same cycle will repeat a few months down the road when people selling Ethereum, StorJJ, Syscoin, Stellar to jump on next hot coin.

Human stupidity never cease to amaze me.

Exactly. Todays markets are so hype driven. Nobody gives a shit about value, only price.

Just one thing I don't understand, why do you send such little amounts? you paid 6 cents in fees, still only sent 1 cent to me?

I think I won't even be able to spend it because of that.
473  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: i am giving money away! on: August 12, 2014, 04:38:42 AM
Thank you misterious donor! Very cool of you to send me a penny.

475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Another point we need to focus on more. How many counterfeit Bitcoins are in cir on: August 12, 2014, 04:35:45 AM
And we have no counterfeit bitcoins, but we have double spends, scammers, Trade Fortress and Gox, so we are not so superior as we would like to think.

Also pls refrain from using the Forum while on drugs.

I wouldn't do it. There are reasons, why safety regulations exist for outlets Wink

Been a week and still no 3500, where is it?

Difficulty will spike more than usual the next time, because of poor luck in the last frame.
