461  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: www.buyaccountss.com scammed me on: September 30, 2020, 01:51:58 PM
I just went to their website and before that I was wondering why you should have "full documents" in order for you to buy an account there and that's when I find out there are also selling legal documents of other people for verification purposes. I'm agreeing with what others have said that this kind of service is illegal in nature. First of all you are buying a verified account of another person, that alone can merit you as impersonation. I just hope the mistake you have today will be considered as some kind of learning experience for you as I don't think the money you lost today is the worst thing that happened here but the personal documents you have given.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we need more volatility and faster bear bull bigger losses or bigger profits on: September 30, 2020, 01:06:50 PM
You sound crazy for a trader, I mean have you even think 1,000% daily would be a good image for Bitcoin in the long run? We have a lot of critics right now saying that Bitcoin is not appropriate to become money simply because it is too volatile that if businesses accept it and just hold it for a few minutes there is a chance that they'll be losing some profit and it is true. Yeah I know as a trader we like big price swings but honestly I don't think it is a good idea for Bitcoin as a currency and I don't think the newby traders will be liking this as well.
463  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Browser Game - Many Ways Earn! on: September 30, 2020, 12:23:38 PM
It would be fun to see a browser based game that is similar to Runescape. This kind of MMORPG is something I would like to see where the money you will be earning has an option to be traded into cryptocurrencies, I don't know if this is the question you are looking for but definitely there is a big market for games like this especially for RPG fans who likes the idea of earning something while grinding in the game. Aside from that I have not played any other browser based games recently so I'm not that familiar with any kind of layout to my liking.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin and bitcoin high transaction fees on: September 30, 2020, 11:45:06 AM
Bitcoin is a network and we are different people/entities participating in. You, me, and everyone using it. Miners are needed to validate transactions and secure the network (so you too), and they can not spend resources for free (it costs them a lot of money).
So they help you and you help them with the fee attached to your transaction. This is their incentive. We can't operate a decentralized environment for free

Actually bro you are wrong. The first post I have in this thread shows you that we have a good alternative where you can skip some network fees or any kind of fees at all. This is a good option especially when the prices of the transaction fees are way high, using alternatives when the network is congested is also actually helping the Bitcoin network to decongest by using off-chain transactions which therefore also helps the prices of network fees to decrease.
465  Other / Meta / Re: Most referenced threads and posts on: September 30, 2020, 10:36:58 AM
So this post is the highest quoted post?

Yeah it's kinda "cheating", looks like some sort of a bot that was posting charts and linking back to the first post. I think #2 is a more genuine top-referenced post.

If it is "kinda cheating" bro I think the right one for the #1 sport is your #2 which is the Overview of Signature-ad campaigns in Bitcointalk. I have no surprise here that this thread and the thread for our unofficial rules will be sharing the top spot since they are mostly mentioned in either meta or the beginner section of the forum as they are frequently asked a lot. For the #1 spot I haven't come across this post at all, it's the first time I have seen this post and I have not seen anyone mentioning this to the forum.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 30, 2020, 10:08:12 AM
@Xxmodded yes currently Milan era is ended, but we will see new era for this clubs someday. They can't compete in UCL this season, but we will see how their transfer results this season. Last, Hauge become AC Milan players, AC Milan are more serious now. I think even far from scudetto, at least next season Milan will be on UCL.

@kassex forgetting milan? Maybe no. But current Milan transfer look like effective, even Ibra too old for some people, i think he is the real captain for Milan squad. He can bring a motivation for Milan in transition phase within next 5 years as your minimum

I doubt that this will happen AC Milan fans im Reddit are mofe realistic when it comes to their expectations towarda Milan's season. Even big transfers Milan has doesn't even raise their expectations towards Milan. That's why if they want to exoect something new from their team they need to see some actual improvements and that is from winning more games and be more competitive. They have been fooled a lot of times now with big transfers that didn't help them at all.
467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why looking for a crack software version is dangerous, specially for crypto user on: September 30, 2020, 09:24:25 AM
I don't really encourage people on downloading cracked files/games online as you really don't have any clue on whether or not what you are downloading is clean from any kind of malware or virus. That's why if you can't afford it with your money or you just don't want to spend your money on something I would still try to avoid on going to these kinds of websites that try to offer up something free, that's one of the obvious traps that there is something wrong.
468  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin centralization and governmet control on: September 29, 2020, 11:31:39 PM
I don't think not processing their transactions is a good move at all because one of the biggest steps done by the authorities is tracking them through the transactions they have made and simply not just blacklisting all the transactions they are seeing.  I know the authorities have the power to do these but I don't think they want this to happen in the first place that's why we only see enforcement of KYC and AML procedures from happening to the Bitcoin network and also of course them knocking to all the crypto related services we have as the more coverage they have the more chances they can track down these criminals.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: Utilizing Blockchain Technology for patent information on: September 29, 2020, 10:38:23 PM
This concept ain’t new. I have read this idea before though and all had conclusion that it would be bad idea to put sensitive information like new ideas patented like that. I mean there are times where we listen news like hack through the nodes over blockchain. I’m not sure if the data can be breached through this action or not but it’s still some sort of risk involved. Believe me, patent which involves Pharmaceuticals new chemical entity and techs could be worst hacks. So may be, it could go wrong. It’s better with paper pen still!

Patent filings are public in nature and companies have no choice but to disclose them always since this is the only way other competitors will know that they are filing the similar kind of patent as what others have already filed. There might be risks involved but I don't think that the patent office nor the company filing the patent itself will be disclosing those kinds of matters, I've seen examples of patent application before and it just mainly show the mechanism or illustration behind what they are doing so some vital information are still left hidden.
470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Sets Record 63 Straight Days Closing Above $10,000 on: September 29, 2020, 07:21:30 PM
So, whats your toughts here? If we experienced a closing daily candle below $10, 000 should we see another huge dump or if not, a new all-time-high within months?

Yeah we can expect this from happening especially Bitcoin is lacking and price movements and have failed to go back up above 12,000$ several times already. We may have been consolidating above 10,000$ in the longest time but the key factor here why I think Bitcoin will have a dump is because of the lack of volume Bitcoin is having even if it's price was increasing for several months now. Prices going up while the volume is going down only show that Bitcoin is on the bearish side of the market.
471  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-09-23] A Massive Bitcoin Artwork Is Being Auctioned At Christie’s on: September 29, 2020, 02:44:11 PM
Quote
Block 21 will also have a non-fungible token (NFT) associated with it, linking the physical and digital world together for authenticity

I think it would be better if the art itself will hold some kind of private key that is claimable by the winning bidder. Associating it with another kind of crypto aside from Bitcoin is something that I don't like in this artwork as if the artist wants to associate it with Bitcoin he should have finished it of with a private key that is actually containing some Bitcoin for the winner, he can even throw it as some kind of puzzle for the owner to know.
472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Read the rules and don't post plagiarised content. on: September 29, 2020, 12:48:35 PM
This is something done by a lot of newbies as either they really don't know what to post or they aren't aware what they are doing is counted as plagiarism. The latter mainly involved people who still paraphrase or just copy the whole content without providing any links both of which will just merit you a violation for plagiarism. When I say the word "paraphrase" they aren't really paraphrasing the text they have copied but they just simply switch words with other similar words just to make it look like their own which isn't really the right way of doing paraphrasing. Paraphrasing in a sense must be done after you have understood the text and then explaining it in your own words, for me this is much easier compared to looking for synonyms and then just replacing it.
473  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: >>>Coin Hunt World now in OPEN beta! Explore your city and earn BTC & ETH on: September 29, 2020, 12:06:52 PM
Yes so sorry, it's currently USA only. The plan is to add more countries over time. I edited the original post to make it clear the beta is currently USA only.

OP you should have pointed that out in your post also what's your reply about incentivizing people on going out for this kind of game/app? As I said earlier I don't think that this is the right time for you to release such app when people should be going out less and less because of the current pandemic we have. With your app you are actually encouraging people to go out more even if it's dangerous. Maybe have your app be more rewarding in having prizes indoors instead of being outdoors.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin and bitcoin high transaction fees on: September 28, 2020, 11:24:23 PM
There are other ways to avoid higher fees and avoid them completely. If the regular Bitcoin network has high transaction fees you always have the option to use SegWit as well as Bitcoin's LN if they accept LN as payment. If you don't want a complicated option I think local crypto wallets in your country aka custodial wallets have what they call an off-chain transaction where your Bitcoin transaction is instant and aside from that is free. Fees here isn't something that can destroy Bitcoin but merely is just an obstacle that the Bitcoin devs can improve on, they have introduced various scaling techniques in order to make Bitcoin more viable as a payment option for more people.
475  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: >>>Coin Hunt World now in OPEN beta! Explore your city and earn BTC & ETH on: September 28, 2020, 09:38:36 PM

Is there by any chance that you have sent a wrong url since the your app cannot be seen in Google's Playstore? I tried searching it manually in the Playstore but it returned to me a dozen result which made me unsure which is from you. For the app itself I don't think it is the right time to release such app where people are rewarded if they go out of their homes even if there is a pandemic happening in most of the world. With this app they are actually doing unnecessary things when they are outside of their houses which they shouldn't do in the first place. Maybe delay the release for this app until things can get better.
476  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] - Fake team and Offering 200% return just in 200 hours. on: September 28, 2020, 08:15:41 PM
Their return packages are enough to prove their real intention and in that case revealing team is not so necessary IMO. This guys have joined most of the crypto exchanges official telegram channel and whenever they see anyone is joining there then they send personal texts with their money stealing website link (Referral) .

They sent me PM today;

You are correct that high yield interest rates are enough to prove them as a scam. Also I don't venture that much in Telegram channels but I know certain channels allow you to report other users for things like this, have you reported this user on trying to lure you in a scam? I know it will be hard to track since they might be using multiple accounts and are not promoting their hyip directly in these channels but I think it's also good that these channels are aware that they are picking of users in their scams.
477  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] - Fake team and Offering 200% return just in 200 hours. on: September 28, 2020, 07:12:17 PM
One thing to note is the guy in the picture is not Franklin J. Hackman but rather Nathan Grisham another author who had made his book available in Amazon and audible.com. It is just showing in Hackman's profile because his pic was tagged under by customers' also bought section luckily I spotted Grisham's page under that, also here is Nathan Grisham's audible page for another reference.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to share wisdom on: September 28, 2020, 04:28:38 PM
For a man who have transacted millions of dollars in all forms of payments I think you should be tge one sharing some tips and tricks to the members here since not all have reached your level and everybody here would want to hear what you have some in order to be successful just like you. But if you have any particular questions in mind I'm glad to add in some points if I have a little bit of knowledge regarding what you are asking.
479  Other / Meta / Re: Question to admins: How to I do this right? on: September 28, 2020, 03:12:48 PM
Recording your tests I think will be a good proof that you are actually testing their casinos and not just promoting them that they are some kind of TOS trap for banned countries. You can't really 100% have no haters when it comes to these kinds of content as there will always be people thinking that your reviews has biased or are not properly executed. And based from what I have seen in the past with some related cases there are people who actually have bypass the country restriction by actually registering with a use of vpn and only the time when they will withdraw their winnings is where their accounts will be frozen.
480  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Gibraltar Enables Itself to Comply with FATF guidelines on: September 28, 2020, 01:48:19 PM

Actually makes sense given how they're often accused of being complicit in laundering Italian mafia's money, and how much finance/gambling contributes to their economy. If they have to choose between cryptocurrencies and gambling they'll go with gambling, a more mature industry that already brings them a lot of money (given the size of their economy).

Even if there are links against Italian mafia activities happening in Malta the question is why would they focus on these small country rather than focusing on applying the regulations by the FATF itself on Italy? Are they just picking of smaller countries just because they think they have a chance to be out of compliance with the rules and regulation? That bigger countries like Italy don't need to have some kind of stricter regulation and enforcement because they are a bigger country? If the FATF wants to improve their enforcement they should apply it to all countries not just the small ones.
