461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The connection between gambling and addiction behaviours? on: August 18, 2021, 10:30:31 AM
I think almost anything that is done in excess is always cause for an addiction, I think the reason behind those addiction is that it's a behaviour that could be prevented if during the formative years of a child, they're able to teach them the right things and such.
462  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤜 GamblingBro.com 🤛 Honest crypto casino reviews ✅ Tested with real deposits ✅ on: August 18, 2021, 09:13:08 AM
I would definitely love to allow the readers to participate in the review creation, but it can be hard to differentiate a real reader from the casino representatives or marketing agencies. I will think about how to add a bit of interactivity to the process, thank you for the suggestion!
That's actually a genuine concern, they can be faking the reviews and pose as a customer to exaggerate or embellish their experience in that casino, I get your point, it's dangerous because of that thing. I think you will have a hard time doing the right interactivity feature to help your site engage with the audience.
463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcarra Bit-Crash Gaming Coming Soon on: August 18, 2021, 08:37:25 AM
~~~
Well, I agree with why not?! It's their strategy to announce something before it's out... but I also think they could do it more professionally if they wanted to intrigue us gamblers! Some screenshots, some videos... anything that can give us a little peek inside the project and what kind of "more exciting evolution to existing bit-crash gaming" we can expect to see here! But all that is missing in this thread, and on their site... except their Curacao licence and simple ToS there's nothing else to be seen! So the conclusion is that this new game announcing came too early!
Totally agree with this one, but they already have a website if I recall so a screenshot might not be necessary plus they're saying that they're updating their site's progress in their Twitter page. I guess we just have to wait for them to really open their site fully and have all of it fully operational.
464  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: August 18, 2021, 08:00:54 AM
of course 1XBIT has a wide place of advertising and that's how they are luring players outside this forum and for sure those many claims here are also coming outside the forum .
That's the sad part, our warnings can only be heard within the forum and the other platforms that we use for social interaction. I think that there will come a time that when there's more people that have been scammed by 1xbit, hopefully a lot of these people will eventually realize that this site is one big scam.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft to use Blockchain technology to fight privacy on: August 17, 2021, 01:32:41 PM
Your title is misleading, I thought they're using blockchain to invade privacy but then I read it and I was relieved because it's actually a good thing that they're incorporating blockchain technology to their system meaning that their reputation as the easily accessed system is definitely going to change.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: August 17, 2021, 12:55:35 PM
Of course, someone is surprised by this?
Probably OP or the people who really believed that Musk cares about anything other than his companies. But that doesn't mean that we don't watch out for his activities, remember Musk is a trend maker since he has a big following in Twitter.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Additional security measures when your Bitcoin net worth increases on: August 17, 2021, 12:14:58 PM
It all depends on the user technical know how regarding Bitcoin.If the user is well educated in that who owns the keys owns Bitcoin it will take appropriate measures on how to safeguard the keys.Even not so well educated Bitcoin users can use hardware wallets to keep their Bitcoins safe.I think most of the people in the forum know how to safeguard their coins.
I think it's more of a how they're performing in terms of online security, if they have a confidence that they're really safe and cautious, I think that they will be able to just be alright with just one wallet but if they're the opposite then they might have to consider using different wallets to ensure that it won't be gone all at once.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Currency is not the same price, you can buy low and sell high profit? on: August 17, 2021, 11:07:21 AM
That's if you got the timing to buy those bitcoins at the right time because even if you know how to do this, it doesn't always go your way. It's a rule of thumb for many people to do this. Also, what happened in S. Korea, I think they said that people can't do what you're trying to say.
469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Predict the BTC price ↕️ 500 mBTC prize pool + giveaways 🚀 on: August 17, 2021, 10:01:38 AM
Hi everyone, @Karl I have found a small bug in the website. I want to report it and hopefully, claim a small bounty. Please can you suggest me how to report it properly to claim the possible bounty as well?
Bitcasino.io looking better than ever Smiley
Haven't head of any rewards for catching a bug but I think they might consider looking into paying someone for the first time. You can probably pm them if they want you to report and they agreed on your demand of reward.
470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Images, Google, Youtube, showing about gambling in Saudi Arabia. on: August 17, 2021, 08:55:03 AM
Probably there is a condition to consider before allowing gambling, there are other people in the Muslim faith that gambles in different country so I think there must be some kind of loophole that they are being allowed to gamble but generally I do believe that gambling isn't allowed in the Qur'an.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 17, 2021, 08:19:52 AM
~~~
I wish people who play gambling can realize that when they lose their money, they do not blame the casino but instead think of what they already did. It needs the courage to accept the fact because it can help us move on and have a chance to be better than before. If you can learn from your mistake, you will grow and become wiser than before to know what you will do when you play gambling.
Not courage, just a plain old dose of reality is enough to accept that you did all of it, and that it's nobody's fault but you. It's not courage, it's just being responsible to your actions that's going to make a difference.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 17, 2021, 07:05:58 AM
I remember Pacquiao's fight against Thurman. During the initial weeks (i.e a few months before the fight), Thurman was the favorite and Pacquiao was the underdog. But then the betting odds began to change. A few days before the fight, the odds for Pacquiao were more favorable to that of Thurman. It was understandable, because more people bet in favor of Pacquiao when compared to his opponent, and therefore the sportsbooks had to change their odds. That won't happen this time, because Ugas is the underdog here.
Of course Ugas is going to be, look at the stats of those two, it's astronomically different so I don't think it's going to be a problem knowing who the underdog is. Also, I have seen Ugas's fight and I think that I am all the way towards Pacquiao in this match.
473  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: August 17, 2021, 05:59:58 AM
You simply cannot guarantee a profit from playing dice at Bustadice. In the long term it is statistically impossible to overcome the house edge and use a casino game like this as a revenue stream. If it were possible, why would Daniel even keep this site going? Bustadice is not a charity.
It's true, overtime the losses will be so high that even if you are winning the losses is still much greater, that's the right logic to apply, why would run the site if they know that they aren't the one that's winning all the money circulating in the site. Also, does Bustadice still have their bankroll investing?
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Playbetr.com ⚽ PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN ⚽ Official Betting Partner ⚽-WELCOME MESSI! on: August 17, 2021, 05:22:14 AM
@PlayBetr first of all congratulations for sealing this deal with PSG, and with the squad they have it’s one of the best team to be associated with. Furthermore will you’ll give away Messi’s autographed Jersey as part of the promos, or give out tickets to watch him in action, cause I'm really hoping it’s one of them for Bitcointalk members.
Really cool that they've got one of the biggest football players in history. That's actually a good idea although I hope that it's easy to get that autographed Jersey because if it's as hard as getting a car then some might not find it worth chasing for. Congratulations getting PSG.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the possible outcomes if you join on a Gambling sites or in Casino on: August 16, 2021, 03:05:43 PM
Number one is a really rare thing to happen, remember that gambling is only profitable for the house and if you're winning against them, there's a possibility that they will kick you out to prevent themselves from bleeding out due to you winning. And the only one that's really successful when it comes to gambling are those that play lottery, they spend less time gambling and they get the big money.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 16, 2021, 02:20:53 PM
I think there is nothing unethical about this. In my opinion, it is unethical to evaluate people with disabilities differently than ordinary people. Obviously, a Paralympic athlete cannot break the record of a regular 100m runner, but he can compete perfectly in his category and we can bet on that.
Exactly, treating them different and being overreactive and overprotective over them is going to be insincere for us to do since it only makes them feel like they don't belong because even though the treatment is positive, we still see them as a different kind of people. It's unethical if people are getting intentionally hurt or they're humiliated without their their consent and their being forced to do what they're supposed to do in the games.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 16, 2021, 01:46:26 PM
It only restricts so I don't think that it will affect crypto gambling, I mean the PG Twitch streamers wouldn't have anything to remove after all. Unless, they count those skin sites for CS:GO and DOTA2 as a gambling site but besides that, there's no problem that can probably affect crypto gambling site from the new addition to the regulation.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 16, 2021, 01:02:32 PM
Didn't expect for Casimero to get the match and defend his title, a lot of people don't seem to agree and is hating on Casimero for winning but I saw his performance and I feel like he deserves the win no matter what.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: August 16, 2021, 10:57:03 AM
How would it affect bitcoin though? Vaccines and bitcoin have a vastly different field so I don't exactly think that they're going to directly affect each other in any way. Probably with the advent of vaccines, with the pandemic slowly being extinguished and becoming a problem, the people can finally go out and they can probably share it to their friends if they've been dabbling with bitcoin during the pandemic.
480  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Look!!! Zimbabwe and its citizens as the poorest country has been made rich by b on: August 16, 2021, 10:21:22 AM
Many African countries can improve their economic situation with the help of bitcoin.
You might want to read what OP said because it seems that OP is mixing up stuff that it's a bit confusing. Yes what you're saying is right but that doesn't have any connection to what OP is saying. I don't know what side OP is on and if he/she is shilling for bitcoin or gold.

The truth is, GOLD is the revolution of our lifetime and anyone who does not jump on this opportunity is missing out.
