1401  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 28, 2021, 03:26:33 AM
Isn't some users here are the same? They have profited out of bitcoin too so what is the difference of Tesla and the other retail investors? We are not blind, it's just that we see that taking  profits is a normal thing for any investing, you need to grow up and accept that this is the reality, if we were blind though, could you do anything to stop Tesla from profiting out bitcoin?
1402  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin Smash Socialism in Venezuela? on: April 27, 2021, 08:46:08 AM
But their investment wasn't enough in the end as you have already said. Another problem as you have also mentioned is that they are so reliant on oil that they didn't try to invest in other products. And the blunder of choosing Maduro as the successor added to that problem.

Do you really believe that someone other than Maduro could have resolved this issue? Venezuela is like a single-commodity economy, which is over-reliant on petroleum. The majority of the population is left-leaning similar to the other Latin American nations and they want the governments to make huge welfare spending. If the right-wing parties were in power, then I don't know whether the situation could have been any good. They would have privatized the oil fields, which would cause losses to the economy once the crude oil prices increase.
Which part of my post did I say that I am leaning towards the other, I am for a balance because I know that the extremes of both are a bad thing and I have seen both destroy a nation. I am not sure that they only have petrol as a commodity, they just forgot to improve on other industry so they are getting left behind.
1403  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: April 27, 2021, 07:24:33 AM
So this is his usual game, when ever he looses he comes here and starts a scam accusation. I have seen his thread he created and checked his profile after Stuna explained his obsession to come out every year and start an accusation and now things are clear because he is still playing in Primedice and never once said his problems are solved.
That's a pretty scummy thing to do, I assume that that person is a gambling addict because he/she tries to blame the casino for his/her misfortune. I feel bad for this person because besides being addicted, he/she also can't report a real scam or something illegal because no one is going to believe him/her anymore.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: April 27, 2021, 06:36:15 AM
You'll never feel bad if you are a responsible gambler, being responsible makes you understand the risk and reward in gambling, and more so the risk since most gamblers are losing money, that's the reality we can't deny, and as evidence, their industry is growing that we can ever imagine.

All we do is be honest with ourselves, we can't beat the house if that's our intention, but we can be lucky sometimes and that's the reward in gambling.
It will be difficult for someone to accept responsibility when you are addicted to gambling, and being honest to ourselves is difficult because our brains are wired with the current reality and having it changed is a pretty difficult thing because we can't accept that our reality is wrong.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: April 27, 2021, 05:53:44 AM
Maybe they are just warming up, I mean this is just a DPC season so there is no incentive performing really good yet, they did good during the Singapore Major although they lost against Evil Geniuses, they are still a strong contender when TI finally arrives.
The best time to perform is literally this season since they've removed the qualifiers for TI but that match was from the iLeague tournament and there's less stake on the line compared to the upper division matches so it's not a surprise for any team to drop a series or two.

Also it's hard to rank the teams in China since their region is very stacked and much more competitive compared to most of the regions where there's always one or two teams who are ahead of the rest.
The saturation of teams on  China is also another factor and it's not really the best time since there are still a lot of chances for them and PSG did get some DPC in the last Major. That is a new development that I have heard of TI, I think the DPC season is the qualifier.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 27, 2021, 05:07:23 AM
So basically you spend your payouts hedonistic styles. There is nothing wrong with that but are you saving money or investing some of your payouts in your campaigns because if not, that would be really bad for you or maybe I might be wrong and the money that you earn in this campaign is just a side hustle for you.

This is a philosophical question ...

Hodl is very important.  Of course, regularly set aside some of your monthly income (investments, savings).  However, an interesting lifestyle is also very important.  Even on this forum there are many people who are losing money due to their addiction to gambling.  At the same time, if you have an interesting lifestyle, then you will not take excessive risks in gambling and trading.  Your gambling will be directed towards other things.

You will have many friends and acquaintances, which will significantly increase your income.  For many people, their income level is not growing because they are comfortable with having a certain income level.

If you have a very interesting lifestyle, this will stimulate you to constantly look for ways to increase your income.

However, this will not be associated with increased stress.  You will have a very strong incentive to grow in this regard.
That's not a philosophical question, hedonistic lifestyle means that you are living an extravagant and pleasure driven lifestyle which is not bad unless you hurt someone or yourself when you are exercising your lifestyle. It's good that you still hodl because I would feel bad for you if you don't have a bitcoin when it continues to pump.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 27, 2021, 04:05:32 AM
If Pacquiao doesn't have any plans to retire yet, I think that he should go with this fight because there will be more fight that is going to happen in the future with a lot of new generation fighters aspiring to fight him and I think that he still has the spark in it, not to mention that the money that Pacquiao is going to receive is definitely going to be big.
the promoter also has their own strategy because they know Pacquiao needs the money for the coming election in the Philippines. while he isn't yet a retired boxer, the promoter will likely negotiate down to its lowest because Pacquiao needs the publicity.  he still has the power at his age to knock Crawford though. i'm sure he can deliver a good fight that is why he still can demand a high percentage.
Well, boxing is business first before being a sports so I am not surprised that he will be getting more money but damn, I hope that these rumors of running for Presidency is not true, I have enough of leaders that are only for the show, incompetent and corrupt. I want to experience a good leadership, I deserve it as a citizen of the Philippines.
1408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: April 27, 2021, 03:19:33 AM
PSG lostt  Undecided. I think they're not superior like they used to be against Chinese teams. I don't know if they're changing or experimenting with something but they had a pretty good run in the Singapore Major before and they were very strong against other region teams.

Perhaps they're planning to do some experiments in regional matches and going all out in international events? Its really unpredictable  Undecided
Maybe they are just warming up, I mean this is just a DPC season so there is no incentive performing really good yet, they did good during the Singapore Major although they lost against Evil Geniuses, they are still a strong contender when TI finally arrives.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 27, 2021, 02:39:27 AM
Everyone is welcome regardless of the gender, you can share your thoughts and experience here as a gambler.

Im a woman as well but its not a reason to refrain myself or to think that I dont belong. Its the same as a crypto user, I already read some topic on why there are more men here than women.

I think it should not be an issue since everyone are free to engage themselves if they want to.
I agree, the only time that someone isn't welcome here is if they are having a bad behavior which is really saying something since most of the forum members have a high tolerance towards rude people. It should never be an issue in the first place because everyone should be treated equally regardless of gender, race, age and other marginalizing things.
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live games & Slots! | VIP | on: April 27, 2021, 01:47:34 AM
So considerate of you guys to not include the previous winner, this kind of thing is a rarity in this forum and almost anywhere. How does this kind of contest work though, I am pretty curious.
He just not participated in the contest on this slot seem like he feels the slot has some high volatility, and not good for him and decide to skip the slot contest. How the contest? for the Twitter contest multiplier, the faster person who posted their result with a multiplier more than @Duelbits has been asked is the winners.
That's a bummer that they didn't have some sort of exclusion of the previous winner but hey, everyone has to have an equal chance to participate. Oh, I see how it works, it is actually good because there is no way to cheat the contest since there is a multiplier that is set as the bar.
1411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: April 27, 2021, 12:29:38 AM
Isn't the games designed based on the client's specification so I would say that the games that was provided have the design included. That's what my teacher said about game development, I don't know if he is right or wrong as aI haven't confirmed it.
It looks like you have miscomprehended something dude, I am not talking about the design of the games instead of the site itself and I suppose 3x2 did not ask about the design of the games too
I did look back and yeah I do think I have misunderstood the context. Well, if it is the aesthetics of the website then there is probably not a lot that we can do unless everyone doesn't like the design because aesthetics is beautiful to each of their own.
1412  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Best odds on: April 26, 2021, 12:01:14 PM

We can try to persuade the mods to lock some of the scam threads because it can help the site from being bumped by its OP to promote the scam. If it fades away in the top threads then it will get less traction since newbies will not explore too deep in some threads.
I guess i support this opinion because they are bumping the thread for advertising and promotion But i also think that it is better to let it open so we can counter their promotion by Bumping it also for awareness and warning for the future players? like what they are doing now because this thread serves as a Eye opener for the players to not trust this scam site and make them stay away from the start.
But of course I'm sure that in some reason the OP will lock this thread itself because of our continues posting about their shady activities.
If we let it die because it got locked, that means that all the other threads that OP is going to make is immediately deleted and with their Original thread being buried by other legitimate threads then they will fade into obscurity, I don't want to fight a battle where there is a one solution but we don't choose it just to continue fighting.
1413  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: April 26, 2021, 09:21:14 AM
Maybe DOGE can do the trick and XRP, I heard that they have a low transaction fees. How come country is a factor when choosing a coin to integrate in your casino though, this is the first time that I have heard that country is a factor so please enlighten me.
Well, for example, EOS is very popular in China.  EOS has no commission at all, but there are difficulties with using wallets and with the fact that you have to pay for freezing and memory.  TRON is also possible, the same thing, only with commissions it is more difficult.  But for countries with a poor population, in any case, bitcoin and eirium are no longer suitable.
But devs, of course, should focus on the countries closest to them, where there are most players and they prefer certain coins.
That's problematic for scaling because if you just purely focus on it then you will be losing a lot of users that could be using your coin. I think that expansion is the main goal for devs wben it comes to coins. And also we have to quickly solve this problem with transaction fees getting so high because it gets problematic for many
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Gold in the Hand', versus 'Chinese Bitcoin' in the Bush - Which has REAL Value? on: April 26, 2021, 07:58:05 AM
No get the context of the post. Can I approach a dealer and use Gold to buy Heroine without laughing at me? Because I know there are Dark Market sites in TOR that would be very happy to accept Bitcoin as payment.
To be fair, I know some dealers that will gladly accept gold as a payment for drugs and I know this because people in my country go ape shit when something is made out of gold, it is a status symbol in this country so it will look far more easy to buy drugs with gold.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donate to Cøbra (pending court battle against Craig Wright) on: April 26, 2021, 07:00:33 AM
Pretty noble endeavor but I don't think that Cøbra needs the help right now, plus we all have our own problems right now and I think that we can't afford putting other people's plight before ours. Nonetheless, Cøbra will win this because CSW is a fake ass and the only thing that keeps this fake afloat is the money that he gets from this lawsuits.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance reach below 50% but back to over 50% in no time on: April 26, 2021, 05:40:08 AM
This reminds me of the 2017 bull market a lot. In late 2017 BTC rose so much, then it started lose its market cap to alts and the markets crashed completely later on. Right now we are having the alt pump (or we were) and if the history repeats, it means the full market crash is near.
Well, it happened in January but we are at the 4th month of 2021 and the prices doesn't seem to be indicating that a sharp drop is going to happen so I don't think that history is going to repeat itself this year.
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Brandt believes that Biden may do a lot of damage to bitcoin on: April 26, 2021, 04:43:58 AM
What was Peter Brandt’s political affiliation during the election last year? I am not certain but he appears to be a progressive democrat hehehe. There was a thread on election betting in the gambling subforum. There were people there who speculated that Biden will be better for the cryptospace than Trump. I do not know if they have a similar opinion today, however. They might not anymore hehehehe.
It's not a matter of affiliation because I think that with the current landscape of crypto in USA, I think that Biden's regime is going to have a big impact to crypto as a whole. I wouldn't worry too much about it since I know that there the problem there won't persist that long.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing on: April 26, 2021, 04:01:14 AM
Frankly speaking, the price of altcoins didnt tank much with respect to BTC pair so I didnt get much opportunity from this crash, its just a healthy correction and BTC is above 52k$ now which is a good sign and looks boolish at this moment. I dont see any red in my portfolio at this moment but will be waiting for something to come down and I get an opportunity.
Any red is an opportunity to buy, it's just that we don't get a lot of profit out of it sometimes. I think that bitcoin taking it's time to back up and go high again is a good thing because it helps people accumulate more bitcoin to get moore profit and with me having a decent amount, I don't really mind if it pumps real high because I am getting a lot of out of it no matter what.
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Carbon Footprint on: April 25, 2021, 05:48:46 AM
If countries continue to use fossil fuels and other high carbon footprint as a main energy source rather than renewable energy sources then there is no point to this argument because bitcoin will inadvertently still use electricity produced by the fossil fuels so there is no point going green if big players don't take initiative.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone on Tiktok said that Bitcoin will go down zero if founder show up! on: April 24, 2021, 12:14:19 PM
this guy basically claimed that he knows who the founder of bitcoin and is implementing that the founder of bitcoin is such a very bad man that if you knew who the founder is and you own bitcoin you'd either run, sell, or won't be able to sleep at night? I know the dude is pretty well known in his field but his statement feels like FUD propaganda and as long as he doesn't show any proof to back up his claims I"ll say BS.
Well, for me, if we know who satoshi is, definitely our expectation of him is going to be affected and definitely the market will be affected too, but I don't think that a zero day is going to happen in my opinion, there are lost coins right and it still contributes to the rise in prices because it is part of the supply so I assume that a zero bitcoin is impossible.
