Alright everyone lets get back on topic about talking about how fucked we are with these asic miners lol.

.
z9s are the only asic atm in the green

You must be new to asic mining if you think the z9's are a good buy right now because you see green. lol
lol where in the post dis i say its a good buy?  All i said is the z9 in hand now is the only asic that makes any real money at all , around $5 a day.  At least from bitmain.  No where did I say its a good buy

updated w/ my latest livestream on the subject

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOfD0GvQE4w

I hadca whole bunch of other miners and friends calling me about this video, so much missionformation, I had to spend hours on the phone setting them straight, you need to not edit this but delete it and go back to the drawing board.

One of the worst videos I have ever seen from even a basic reseach and analysis point of view.

stick to shilling asic reviews and overpriced hardware bro
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should You Mine / Buy Bitcoin Interest BCI ? (Implemented ProgPoW) PoW+PoS on: September 15, 2018, 03:33:49 PM
Yeah its was a total hit peice badly done research , I don’t even know where to start
with all the missinformation you spewed @voskcoin.  If thats the level of reseach you do Its no wonder all your shilled projects *cough* Loki , Aion etc have been trash ... so far at least.

You refused to post thier comments or rebuttals to the nonsensical assumptions you were making , totally unprofessional imo.

You would have been better off sticking to progpow discussions and even on that you did a poor job of really explaining how it differs from run of the mill algos.

Seems to me you just rushed out a video because you wanted to talk prog pow, you should have dug deeper on that and just stuck to that since your coin reseach was absurd.

You did point out some good things aboit the basic white paper , facebook etc but that was about the only correct thing you said.

Really poor work.

I’m mining it right now and loving it, great team on discord always there to help, I have never seen such a active dev (pekka L) on a discord channel, reply to everyone even if he’s answered 1000x before, I’m actually back in profit even at $0.18c per kWh, more exchanges opening up to BCI, the exchanges they are already on are sorting the wallets ready for trading after the fork, but my biggest selling point was PROGPOW, it really does level the playing field in mining, this coin is moving with the times an have listened to the miners, if your a gpu miner you should be mining BCI or your just losing out to ASICS

how are you in profit? its only on one exchange and the price is super low there , i cant be profitable to dump at those prices

this probably just matches the F3 that Bitmain and their top partners are mining with in secret , I would bet my bottom dollar that when this new Asic launches Bitmain will miraculously launch the
F3 branded under a different name of course lol and you idiots will lap up their scraps again.

The whole thing is hilarious to be honest.

Instead of banding together and support coins like BCI, and EXPANSE ( they are launching progpow on test-net now)  these hires bitmain shills start going off topic

"Um what does the coin DOOOO"  WTF does bitcoin DO , or 80% of the fucking coins out here ?  that's the dumbest argument I have every hear.

OK I'll bite though :

-Its the First coin to truly combat ASICS with the ProgPOW algoritiom
-Its the first coin to work directly with the Minority group who are FPGA and mining software designers , remember the FREE the eth pill ? yeah them.
-It serves as a store of value ( yes just like fucking bitcoin and every other coin out there)
-It provides interest payments to Holders , via a web app or wallet staking
-It is one of very few coins (XMR, EXP) committed and I mean COMMITTED to battling the ASIC plague that is destroying the decentralized nature of crypto and putting up pay walls simialr to existing finacial industry.

I could go on but I'm done with you shills

cannot take their progpow adoption away from them - whatever their motive to adopt it may be -- at least they did it!

Exactly they will always be know as the 1st , no one will be able to take that away from them, so I and a few others at least threw some rigs thier way to support the network.

Even through I cant make any money from mining it I still mine BCI because as GPU miners we have to take a stand not just with our mouths with our RIGS!  , putting one or three rig towards a progPOW
coin can be done by pretty much most of the miners on this forum. One rig makes $5 a day for gods sake its not going to make or break you lol.

ASIC makers will keep sticking to us because we ourselves have no dignity and ability to say forget the quick profit for once, lets actually
do something that HELPS build our own Ecosystem instead of letting them run circles around us while the laugh at us.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Reduces Block Reward | ETH GPU Mining Will No Longer Be Profitable on: September 14, 2018, 08:33:09 PM
the difficult will rise 5 to 10x in few months and price will follow.
high diff doesn't meant that price will follow

It does, nobody will mine for peanuts or at loss other than the ones who support the coin itself and dont forget eth is the altcoin king at moment, all other altcoins follow it.
Gotta say I disagree with this statement. I have an antminer A9 sitting there collecting dust because it would be losing like $3/day if plugged in. Most people who trade don't even mine and therefore don't give a shit what the diff is. In my experience the price seems to influence the difficulty much more than the difficulty influences the price.

Hey you dont have the s9, cause if you had the top contender then you would still get something back from using it. What determines if is profitable or not correlated to price is the top miner. If your statement  was true then we could say the amd 280x would still be making money, see my point your a9 is pretty much in an identical situation as hd 280x owners. As soon this miner hits e3 will not be profitable anymore cause it will not be the top released eth asic.

Anyway, bitmain like i said many times, released the e3 just to cover up the f3, e3 180mhs for the peasants and the good gddr5 1500 mhs f3 for them. Think bitmain would give you the top miner? hehe

And now you think, why this company wants to release 1400 mhs --> its old xxnm tech and they are probably just clearing up their inventory for 7nm gddr6, new ones like the g3 in development are already doing almost 10000 mhs

Also do you trolls know why the eth hashrate is not going down as much as it should be? asics, gpu miners are turning off and bitmain and co see 10% decrease then go there and add few more eth asics and difficulty increases again eheh and you trolls think gpu miners are mining at loss but in truth they have turned their gpus off, 100 gpus are turned off, bitmain add one f3 to the network hehe, bitmain is compensating for any eth network hashrate loss at moment, that is what we call camouflage the hashrate.
Gave you some merit, this guy gets it.

Any miner with half a brain will stop mining ETH , mine XMR or a progPow coins till more coins switch over , that way all the stupid games that hidden asics makers are playing will be seen
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1.4G - 1000w - ASIC (Ethash) on: September 14, 2018, 05:56:44 PM
Fake? I hope  Undecided

DELIVERY DATE: APRIL 2019.

Hehe. Good luck pre-ordering with that much lead time! Who knows if Ethereum will even be mineable at that point in time. There is simply too much uncertainty with that kind of investment that i'd say it's even worse than gambling.

Thats the date they deliver to the masses, they probably have samples right now and Ill mine from Jan 2019 to April 2019 to "test" the product
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should You Mine / Buy Bitcoin Interest BCI ? (Implemented ProgPoW) PoW+PoS on: September 14, 2018, 05:55:16 PM
In my brief time mining it, mostly out of curiosity I like it in the aspect that the power draw is not too bad. It's not quite as low as maybe lyra2z but it is not nearly as high as many others like any of the x16s/17 Zwhatevers or ethash. So if this coin actually has a purpose its going to be nice mining for mid to large farms. Right now its low hashrate is good for small miners too.

I hope more coins adopt it but the issue is trying to get help since it appears to be complex for teams and I have no idea if the Ohgoditsacompany is only helping a few 'friends' or actual other teams coins.

Personally I know the Kreds team wants to move to this algo and they have actual working products  like coinhub.news and krediblepolitics.com The first website often has you featured Vosk.

So far though the heats not bad lets see how this goes.

^
This, I'm interested in the Algo as well, mining it and also set up a BCI pool.  I like their team, super transparent on discord and telegram and really helpful.

I hope it succeeds
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8th Alt coin thread. Or what to do now that asics are all over the place. on: September 13, 2018, 11:54:40 PM
Maybe wiping out gpu mining profits, but adoption?  I don't think so....
...
basically asic builders got so fucking hungry they ate their legs and crippled the industry by doing it.

So instead of a gpu kid  happy to get a free gaming rig and a few bucks to buy more games  you get a gaming kid that hates mining won't use crypto  .
...

I never thought of this issue in quite this way, but I have to say you make a compelling case here (good enough for 1 of my last 2 sMerits).

I would add that the GPU shortage earlier this year also had the same unintended consequence of alienating many who would naturally be interested in crypto.

One ray of sunshine: the bursting of the dotcom bubble didn't kill the internet.

hoping that is true for us.

Unfortunately most people lost money all the early buyers aka early internet adopters got reket in the crash
thats why its better to stick it out , those who had the testicular fortitude to hold ended up winning.

most did not

Like I said you have to your own research, If it means anything the hash rate has doubled in the last day, and this is with no one able to withdraw to any exhange.
Hash rate doubling means absolutely nothing on a coin that literally just forked. I've heard all I need to at this point, I'm pretty much now convinced you have no idea what you're talking about. You even yourself admitted you don't know what progpow solves but blindly drink the cool-aid. Even after I told you I did my homework and didn't find many answers you again just say "Do your own research". You're really not helping your case buddy.

60 posts and you're an expert on crypto ok buddy lol

need more people on our bci pool

http://67.40.164.173:8080/stats
I would like to join your pool.
A little more details please? I have 6 x 1080ti, I should choose diff 8 or 60?
Also, I would like to mine directly to the exchange so I can sold the coins, would that be ok with your pool (how often are payouts made?)

Thanks
all the info is in the discord link, lets not hijak this thread its not about pools
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum network Total has rate keeps dropping. on: September 13, 2018, 11:57:44 AM

Asic is a new thing in ethereum mining and can't agree you that most hashrate comes from asic mining. It comes from GPUs, for this reason it was almost impossible to buy gpu in normal price, everything was out of stock immediately.
Ethereum has some good features and is better than some other popular shitcoins but I have the same question: Will eth recover? I highly hope it will but current statistics makes me very pessimistic.
I have no doubt it will recover , people are pessimist when prices are low, people are optimistic when prices are high. Bitcoin also has been in such situation , even more . It dropped from 1250 to 100usd in matter of days. I know people will always look for a reason why this is happening, traders doesnt need reasons. Ethereum is been picked on all the time now,
Ethereum isn’t the only currency getting slaughtered -10x , there are many more. Name it most currencies from top 10 Market cap has gone down in value -10x.
•   Top 3 XRP from 3.33 to 0.26
•   Top 4 BCH from 4091 to 421
•   Top7 LTC 330 to 50
•   Top 9 Cardano 1.22 to 0.06

[/quote]

Your dead off, that was back in jan when prices were high.  Since feb gpus have been in massic stock at near retail prices, since no ones buying gpus anymore to mine eth as profits tanked.

during this time hash rate went from 200th to 280th how do u explain the large growth in hash when gpus were basically in stock and have actually been in overstocl since feb.

Don’t be fooled, as much as 50 percent of the hash rate is private asics and fpgas, as coins start switching to progpow and gpu miners keep shifting out i bet he hash rate keeps rising due to asics.

expanse is already moving to prog pow and i expect metaverse and etc to follow

Already they have copied an idea and claimed to be the first.  Minexcoin has offered this "decentralized staking" for over a year now.
The earliest I recall is a few Scrypt coins that do this from within the wallet since 2014-15

No one is talking about wallet staking thats , super old tech ...

stop buying the fud and do your own research, what BCI does is completely different from a usability
and technical standpoint its like the Ethereum blockchain vs Bitcoin in terms of innovation.

Bro:  https://minexbank.com/

"Unlike traditional banks, in MinexBank you do not need to transfer your funds to anyone in order to receive interest on open deposits. All you need is to “freeze” funds on your own wallet without fear of losing funds as the result of unauthorized access to the centralized traditional bank."

You are in denial if you think BCI is anything more than a shitcoin.  It was forked away from bitcoin in December when prices were through the roof and a new (and pointless) fork was created every week to capitalize.  If you read the first 10 pages of your announcement its obvious they were just making it up as they went along.  They had already secured an exchange before their mainnet even launched!

Im not going to argue with you bro, Do your own damn research , invest in minexbank no one cares ,

what I do know is is if BCI is a shitcoin at 25million cap, so is BTG AND BCC they are both forks of btc and the have caps of 300million and over a billion respectively.

/shrug

Yeah I spelled it wrong but it has been more then 40 years since I watched the movie. Grin

Yeah she was , i just substituted obi wan for, XMR,BCI/progpow

duh missed it  nice one.

and technical standpoint its like the Ethereum blockchain vs Bitcoin in terms of innovation.

What am I missing then? I have done a fair amount of research on BCI. Even in one of the dev videos they stated that eventually they would like the staking ability to happen directly from within the wallet. So what is the difference with this new method of staking? whitepaper isn't clear about that from what I recall.

Like I said you have to your own research, If it means anything the hash rate has doubled in the last day, and this is with no one able to withdraw to any exhange.
