481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN][BSC] WUNZO - Plat To Earn - 💎A new DAO/NFTs concept. on: September 08, 2021, 11:41:42 PM
Looking for some update like what's about the presale, it's ongoing? if yes, What is the result?
When there will be IEO, which exchange you guys are planning? Also, what are the softcap and hard cap of the ICO?
The project themes are very interesting, but Bitcointalk forum users not showing interest in this threadad, But I strongly believe this project has a great future.

We are currently in the seed sale phase, which will end on September 20. I can't reveal any details about the IEO at this time, but the only thing I can tell you is that we are planning to run our IEO on one of the top tier exchanges. Also, depending on the funds raised from the seed sale and presale, we are considering running IDO and IEO at the same time. The soft cap for the ICO is 2520 BNB, while the hard cap is 9000 BNB.
It's understandable for bitcointalk users to be uninterested, given that the majority of recent dapps have been either scams or failures.
I greatly appreciate your help. Much Love.

If your soft cap is not achieved, how are you going to proceed your beta release here? Will it not affect the release plan of your app. P2E gaming platforms are hot right now, so are you willing to shell out your funds from your pockets in case the situation needs?
482  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: September 08, 2021, 11:06:25 PM
actually they are not back, Going online once in a Blue moon does not mean they are coming back because their activities here in forum is very limited and updating almost more than a month .

if they are planning adding those prediction above, for sure this will take another long waiting again like what when people expect adding coins for depositing and withdrawing .
I do agree that coming back once in a while is not enough for a website to be considered active, but that also doesn't mean that they are inactive as well. There is a level in between where it is neither active nor inactive and it is just "trying" and that's where futuur is right now. They are trying to do their best but their best may not be enough for you, or it could be enough for some other person.

This is why I honestly believe that we should be considering a bigger and better situation for them and hope that they reach that level but if they can't and stay here, I am sure they will still have some people going there and gambling and even though that number might be lower than what it could be potentially, it is still some people. This is why I believe that we should be just accepting them the way they are, a bit middle ground level place.

For sure, there are other players outside this forum as well. I don't think they only have bettors from this forum. Anyway, the negative side for not being active here is that some players will be discouraged to play with higher funds as they don't have idea if they can easily get out their money or not. But so far, there's no complaint of not withdrawing their money. So for me, for those who want to try betting on this site because they have interesting items, why not try it, they have several options of alts now.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum signaling the next bull run for other cryptocurrencies on: September 08, 2021, 10:12:58 PM
I think OP by now has got the answer. When BTC goes up everything goes up and vice verse. Ethereum after falling to 3200$ is now trading around 3500$. I still feel that market is highly unstable and its not the right time to buy BTC or Eth. When Eth was trading around 3900$, there were predictions that Eth next target is 5k$. Nothing is certain in crypto market.

Crypto market is really known to be highly unstable because of its high volatility. But I don't agree about the right time to buy or not of btc or eth. Because it depends on your strategy how to take profit. For example, you can buy right now and sell it once the price is above your buying price, whether small or big profit, as long as you are on the positive side. So, what am I saying here is that, practice the simple rule in trading - buy low, sell high.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Uk most deprived areas have the Highest number of gambling outlets. on: September 08, 2021, 09:37:52 PM
Ohh this is actually very harmful to the society long-term. When you target a specific group of people towards an activity which is highly addicting, it only means one thing- profit for the business owners. Now, if you talk about the unprivileged sector of society, this may not only harm their livelihood but this would cascade into much more bigger problem in the future.

I do hope that the government can somehow intervene in this process by implementing a higher tax rates on these business establishments.

Yes this kind of bahaviors is morally critical. But If we look deep, i think those deprived areas in UK (like many other deprived areas in the world) are also the target for other industries like tobacco and alcohol, which would also harm the people's livehood (industry of addiction). So it's not an exclusivity for gambling companies to focus on those areas.

Applying new restrictions for gambling houses won't only harm those businesses but a large part of the global economy. However, those restrictions may be useless as the gambling companies can just leave those areas then offer to users a mobile app with all the features he used to find in a concrete gambling outlet. Also think about gamblers from those deprived areas when limit the activities of his favorite passtime game .

Aside from maybe cheaper rental fees of these casinos to that type of area, they can easily find patrons because if there are more people who have no jobs, they tend to go to the casino  and try their luck to get some winnings. On the other hand, they can offer jobs to these people. Now, it boils down to how these people will really use these casinos to their advantage. But of course, these casinos are mainly for their profit. If they are not getting good profit, I guess, they can easily close down and move to another place.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Setting up a gambling business on: September 08, 2021, 08:06:39 PM
The most accurate informations that may help you you will find by talking with someone who already has experience in the gambling industry. Here you will hear many different opinions and guesses based on the personal beliefs of each one, but not necessarily on their own personal experiences.

The only thing I can recommend is that you look for a trustful programmer expert who can at least assist you when dealing with another programmers who will work in your gambling site. Also, make sure to hire employees in a legit platform or just pay them after the service is done. This way you won't get scammed or end with a poorly made website full of bugs and security flaws.

Anyway, before spending money in this project, make sure there is enough demand and make sure you can stay competitive in this market.

This is very true. As we have a lot of casinos already, staying afloat is too difficult because of competition. You need to stay relevant so the interest of players will be sustained. Even if you have bankroll to sustain the first few months, still it is not enough to rely on the thought that you can easily get profit after few months or so. Do you think you have the capability to attract these gamblers and dedicate their time to your site, some things to consider as these factors will only be revealed once your site is up and running.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ethereum taking the crown from Bitcoin as ehtereum reaches $4000 on: September 07, 2021, 11:10:13 PM
If you have been following the market lately ethereum has been showing some sign of bullish nature even when Bitcoin was struggling around 47k what can we expect as ethereum finally reaches $4,000 is ethereum taking over the market from Bitcoin what are your opinions on the present cryptocurrency market condition?

I don't understand how you mean that Ethereum is taking over the Bitcoin market. If we look at the trading volume, the Ethereum volume is always below the Bitcoin volume. Taking over the market should of course be seen on a daily volume basis. Not to mention we are talking about a marketcap which is still very far from Bitcoin.

The market cap of ETH is only almost about half of bitcoin and even reaching the $4k price range, won't make it surpass bitcoin. And remember, when eth attained its ATH this last May, gaining about $4356 price, which is more than the OP's target price, eth did not surpass bitcoin. So the answer is very clear here. The $4k level will not overpower bitcoin.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 07, 2021, 10:37:38 PM
curiosity is good, it's a motor for learning
but we shouldn't let our curiosity kill us and be bad for us
I don't think kids should be gambling, parents are responsible for teaching and letting them understand that this is an activity for adults
like many other things

It is how their parents raised them to grow responsible individuals. I do believe that discipline comes from home and if they received appropriate discipline they will grow a responsible individual. And one thing is how they manage their financial aspect. Are they willing to spend their funds to gambling, with no assurance that they will ever get it back? Can they control their emotions not to get too deep in gambling and wait before it is too late.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador has just bought it’s first 200 coins on: September 07, 2021, 05:49:33 PM
That's good news.
Buy to let people use it. Try it. Use it as a legal tender then maybe they could find ease with that option rather than other types of transactions.
There will always be someone who will be against it like traditional people, there's no such thing as a perfect country but it's a good start in my opinion.
Adoption is the first key to make it successful. Let the mass tell it to her/his neighbor and be the judge about it.

Now that they started to legalize the use of bitcoin in their country, we will know in few months if this move has significant impact on their financial system. And I am guessing that their neighboring countries are also looking at bitcoin to follow their path. I wonder if other countries are also buying their own bitcoin stash but they are just not disclosing publicly about their involvement in crypto?
489  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tothemoon.casino: List of Crypto Casino’s with Live MoonTravel/BTC Calc. 🚀🌕 on: September 07, 2021, 03:10:50 PM
@OP, you can take a look at coindragon also. They have dragons den, which is equivalent of crash, so it is not like the regular crash game set-up that you can find from others. As far as I know, they have no complaints so far. And their withdrawal fees is dynamic and depends on network congestion, so in some days, you can even withdraw using few hundred satoshis. There is no KYC also for this site.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is a hardware wallet really worth it? on: September 06, 2021, 05:38:22 PM
There's really only two ways to use Bitcoin - cold storage or hardware wallet. Anything else should be reserved for small amounts because of the risks of malware, hacks, robberies and so on. Hardware wallets are simpler to use, but cold storage are not exactly rocket science, there are lots of good guides that describe how to set it up step by step. I prefer cold storage because it has a little bit less trust involved and you can get one for free if you have an old PC that you never use, while hardware wallet costs around $100.

And if I may add, acquiring hardware wallet is worth it if you really have significant amount of funds to regularly store but if not, cold storage may be a good option. Before acquiring hardware wallet, assess first the pros and cons from your side because you may achieve the same purposes you want by just availing what is already available at your home.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 05, 2021, 11:55:48 PM
~
Another substituted fight, Holyfield is a legend, but let's see if he can still fight aggressively despite his age. There's a big age gap, and since I did not see Holyfield fight after his retirement, then I think I would not be on him this time, not betting on this fight actually, just want to have fun watching it with my beers on the table.
You did  not see Evander Holyfield fight after his retirement  Cheesy. The meaning itself is stopping what they are doing now and moving on to another field Tongue. I was expecting Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson batting and it could have attracted a huge crowd but fighting against Vitor Belfort does not give you the same level of excitement.

They need to revise the rules and not ask them to fight like a professional fight just for the safety of the fighters and respect their age.

This one, I think, is worth just watching for entertainment purposes. But for heavy betting, I don't think this is worth to place on in my opinion. We grew up hearing name of Holyfield but with his age today, I don't think he has the same stamina to even stay in the ring. Just another exhibition fight to watch without pressure.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: September 05, 2021, 11:29:47 PM
Me too, I don't know any Japanese boxer aside from Inoue but same a like Inoue needs to work harder if he wanted
to gained the popularity as how Manny Pacquiao made his name to this sport.

Beating Casimero will add up to his resume as this young fighter is also creating his name inside
the same division as where he's dominating this sport.

Let see how things will work after the finalization to whoever the promoters choose Inoue's way.
I don't also know any other Japanese professional boxer but I think it's the start through Inoue. There will be other inspired boxers that we shall know because of him.
He doesn't have to be the same popularity as Manny Pacquiao. Inoue is Inoue and he's going to be loved by his fans for whoever he is.
Agree! He's Inoue and whatever Pacquiao achieved he'll be remember'd for that.

Let alone Inoue build or create his own path, fans will always remember him as how he showcase his skills and in this upcoming
Fight where he can add another accomplishment. Maybe this one might be more interesting if he will go against Casimero and
prove his worth not to allow more trash talks but show everything in actions.
There will be more fans for him after his upcoming match with Casimero and that's for sure. As many are not really familiar with him and even his victory against Donaire, when they see him box.
I guess that will be the time that they will now have another boxer from Japan to follow his career path.

The pressure is on Casimero when the fight of Inoue-Casimero happens, because of Casimero's trash talking. So now, he needs to prove it inside the ring, and for sure, Inoue is not an easy opponent. If Inoue will win this, his popularity will definitely surge and maybe stop Casimero's antics. So I am also interested on this bout to happen, and it seems we will see the clash before this year ends.
493  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: September 05, 2021, 10:11:41 PM
I must appreciate the ideas presented in this site. Finally something other then live casino or dice rolling.
There is more bets about politics then any other category. I suggest divide the bets equally among all categories not in just one.
Secondly, are there any reviews about this site. I mean anyone tested it for its legitimacy?
When it comes to legitimacy then I could say that they are legit and yet they had ran a signature campaign on this forum and didn't really get any issues at all towards their site which does indicate
that they are doing pretty well.

About on the lines given which about mostly with politics there are actually other lines which you could bet on and one reason on why they aren't getting much bettors or interest
is because outcomes or results on each bet do take long time before you could know the actual result.

For those people who don't care about waiting then its not an issue but for those who cant then they will surely be pissed on.

I do agree that this site is legit as the previous campaign was handled by reputable CM here and so far, no complaints from their site. But the interest slows down because the team is not active in promoting their site, or giving contests or rewards programs. And for some time, they were silent so bettors were hesitant if the site was still alive or not. But then, the team announced additional currencies accepted and new lines to bet. If you want to try, play with small funds but check also their min withdrawal per coin so you have no problem getting out your funds.
494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2021, 11:21:05 PM
Weird or not, can be subjective. Each person can have a different opinion about this. In my personal opinion, it is not weird but too risky. Always remember that investing in Bitcoin is a high risk. There is no guarantee that Bitcoin price continues to grow its value in the future. We don't really know if Bitcoin can have an uptrend or downtrend after we bought Bitcoin. Also, we cannot target a specific amount of profits got from Bitcoin investment. So, it is much better to use money that we can afford to lose.

That actually if we only have the option not to borrow money, it is really great. But somehow, some people make use of this loan very often as they are in a hurry to invest when the market is dumping and have no money yet. Some got the reason and as long as they can pay for it with the terms provided, that is not a problem for both parties.

But if it is just done by newbies, I'm afraid that be going a failure. That is really a risk and it was the risk for the person who gave the loan as it is possible that once the borrower will fail that certainly, it compromises the payment.

Because newbies are not careful enough and more than likely will make the wrong decision. You have the advantage if you are already long enough in this market that you have seen a lot and that will give you the edge in making smart decisions. But taking a loan is for me not still advisable. Unless, you have other source of income that you can use to pay if in case you got it wrong in the trading market.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 04, 2021, 09:44:08 PM
Business is business and they would really be looking into something which they can really make more money and this had been the main impression for most people or do have in mind.

We dont really care on what their reason is.We do need is that this fight should really push through because lots had been expecting for this thing to happen. We can really

able to know if Casimero is really just worth to those trash talks that he had said which did really provoked Inoue.
That's right, boxing isn't just a sport but also a trillion dollar business for the industry. Looking at that part that both fighters are great fighters but the thing is.
Fans are going to watch the upcoming fight because of the hotness of the trashtalks that has been blown by Casimero.

Now, Casimero is selling his fight by those trash talks and naughty mannerisms. It is like Donaire is out of the discussion already as Casimero is making noise and now people want to see him inside the ring with Inoue, and see what he's got under his sleeves. High possibility that we will see them fight before the end of this year but sportsbooks will still favor Inoue here. Their promoters should seal the deal fast and start promoting their bout.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Afghanistan replace afghan currency with Bitcoin? on: September 03, 2021, 09:39:35 PM
@Tybi
Regardless of the current cash shortages and bank closures, BTCitcoin can't replace their own currency [for now], but it could somewhat complement it!
- Even if the internet penetration rate was high [it's quite low], I still highly doubt that the Taliban would've allowed its citizens to have that much power over something that they could hardly control.
- As it stands, it's only good for those that want to flee the country in the near future.

I have the same opinion also. If they will replace their afghani with bitcoin, they will have no full control on what's going on. People can even do p2p trading without the government knowing their transactions. And with Taliban government, I believe, they want power and control over their people. So nope, seems far from happening under their regime.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 03, 2021, 08:42:55 PM
I think this policy was created because of problematic activities where credit cards often transact with casino deposits which are identified as misuse of borrowed money as bets.
As for the impact for crypto, it clearly provides solutions and offers for gamblers to use crypto as an alternative to paying for a casino that provides deposits using crypto. Apart from encouraging crypto adoption, this has clearly given gamblers attention not to use their credit cards.

Or I am thinking that some of these credit card companies are complaining about nonpayment of some of their customers. Because if they have no problems encountered, I don't think there will be issues in banning the use of credit card. On another note, gamblers are now forced to find alternatives how to fund their gambling activities and one option is to use crypto, which is actually good for crypto market.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: September 02, 2021, 11:58:01 PM
Cryptocurrency especially bitcoin now become very popular all over the world and I don't think that there is still greater number of people who don't have knowledge on cryptocurrency compared to those who have an idea on it especially on the teenager and above. The point that cryptocurrency has still huge transaction fees it wouldn't be still advisable as payment option, as people will still prefer to choose the one that will lessen their fee and the transaction time that it will needed.

Some people know the existence of bitcoin but I believe, still a lot of them has not done any btc transaction yet. But in all cryptocurrencies that exist, if you ask a regular person, he will first think of bitcoin rather than any other alts. They know it exists, but most of them are still hesitant to touch the crypto market because of lack of knowledge.
499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Age will you introduce your child to trading on: September 02, 2021, 11:09:27 PM
It would be even better to have trading as a subject in schools so that children can know about trading right from their childhood.
As they say that the current education system never teaches how to become financially free.
So having subjects which can encourage children to become financially free by trading, investing, passive income and other means could be a revolutionary movement.
I would personally try to make my child understand the concepts of trading and investment right from his childhood.

This idea is actually good but in most cases, we are like educated to work for somebody and work in top companies. Sometimes they neglect the idea that we can make our own life by doing our own thing. For me, as long as the child can accept those concepts as early as they can, much better. Maybe slowly integrate it in the curriculum so it is not drastic introduction of the concept. Because in time, they will learn their ways how to get a hold of themselves in the trading market.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling Websites on: September 02, 2021, 09:57:36 PM
-snip-
Gaining back the reputation is near impossible because players are scared to death once they have seen such cases where a player has been tortured to get his funds back. In past i have played at nitrogen and never had any issues but because they were lacking some features and I got better offers from other sites, I started playing at other platforms and it was really sad to hear all that happened at nitrogen.
Need a very difficult process and need to ensure again, but yeah as you said, very difficult and maybe near impossible.
Moreover, there are many more sites and platforms these days and there will be many more options again to choose the best one, better than the previous one.
Moreover, if somebody has experienced a bad thing on that site, it will make him moving to others.

Old gambling sites should revisit their offerings, in terms of rewards, bonuses or contests to stay relevant in this industry. As there are many new gambling sites offering competitive rates and bonus programs, people tend to try these new ones up until they got comfortable with them. I can't say who's the best among sportsbooks because one way or another, there is a feature that you can find on the other site where the other one doesn't have. It depends merely on the player's priorities and considerations.
