4861  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: April 01, 2018, 08:49:10 PM
Kyc is security procedures and protection for users. And as we know, currently many programs ico that require Kyc verification. I strongly agree with the KYC verification.
protect users from what? KYC (and AML) usually required by law to fight against many form of crimes
but in the case of ICO, we're not even sure they registered and complied with the regulations
'KYC' is used to make it look legal but they could've just used it to gather personal data for their next heist Lips sealed
This is the main problem where we didnt even know if those terms are registered or regulated for them on having the right to keep those informations gathered to its investors.I do see some advantage of KYC for limiting out the tokens being purchased depending on the capability of a certain investor but the informations being sent out doesnt have an assurance if they are being kept in a good hands which those info wont scattered online. Risk should really be minded as a investor its up to your choice.
4862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprising day! For the first time in the cryptoworld ! :) on: April 01, 2018, 08:17:58 PM
Extremely disappointed in you for using your rank level to promote money doubling scam, they will steal your BTC, do not participate. I don't know why people think scamming others is the way to go, this are some of the things that is getting newbies in the space burnt and leaving the space
I dont know if this is part of april fools joke or what which seeing on its rank we can really say that he is already knowledgeable to these things. As we do make the calculation the thing being offered is 120% in a matter of 3 days and additional 10% on 4th day if you put up bigger amounts which those offers are too good to be true.He claims about lottery but why would send into his wallet directly? Dont have any site? It is really suspicious.
4863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We are all fu***ed on: March 31, 2018, 08:46:51 PM
the reason he pissed off that much because his position on long get liquidated.
he was saying about an early adopter who get ruined because of this downward movement when we knew the fact that,
we were buying it 10x or even more cheaper than our current price.
so it was out of our logic to say it actually.
might be he wanted to express his anger and disappointment by creating this thread ?
truth to be told.
even though the price went down to $1000,we can not change the fact that it will be our future.

You wanna say that Bitcoin price is going to hit 1000$?

As for topicstarter, can't agree in that point about girlfriend etc, but majority of newbies in crypto joined this HYIP in september-december and cashed out in January, in this point you're right
Let's not talk about the past but instead focus on the present and soon to the future but what does actually made the price down yesterday? I thought a bad news will be the reason why most of the users are panic selling, but now it is too different than before. I think someone was dumping a huge amount of Bitcoin that's why it suddenly goes down.
All of those are just speculative but we dont actually knows on whats happening on the entire market even upto these days since we do see bearish market for 3 months and hopefully this new month of April would really be good to us and might give us a reversal or a bullish run. No one knows if we are heading that way on tomorrow but if you are a guy who do believe on such tech then you wont really mind up the past and instead you would really focus for long term.
4864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop on: March 31, 2018, 04:41:10 PM
which I know they are distributing airdrop for promoting their project. and draw people to look into their peroject. after that many people will discuss the aidrop so many people will look for the project. airdrop is like a step-by-step to reach their goals. so they make and provide airdrop. that's what i know
The thing you know is actually right on where airdrops is one of the ways on where a certain project do make exposure into the public by means on giving free tokens into those users who do signed up to them. This is one of the ways too that would really able to make awareness for possible investors considering on the people who do join up will give buzz into the public on such project. This is why most projects do make airdrops for the sake on having an exposure. It is effective most of the time but yet it would still vary on how good the project is for them to get potential investors.
4865  Economy / Securities / Re: how to make money online investing on: March 30, 2018, 10:07:35 PM
No one talks here about seo (maybe because it's bitcoin forum? But oh, this thread is about online investment). For me seo is the best way. You can invest in optimizing of your positions in search engines and after you rank higher, and it depends on keyword too, you can generate a good profit from google adsense.
Sometimes you don't need to add news/posts, everything can work automatically.
This is indeed effective but making such thing wont really be an easy stuff. SEO and other related ways when it comes to internet marketing would really be hard and not all people do have the capability or skills when it comes to this one. Making your ranking higher would takes time and it does take patience for you to succeed. Always think of the possible keywords to be included in the top search.
4866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need to diversify? on: March 30, 2018, 09:15:41 PM
Why do we need to diversify our holdings? why we just all in in one coin to have a one time bigtime profit.
Having many would be always better than on having a single coin. Always diversify not only on dividing the possible risk but also having a higher potential possible income came from your other investment. Dont just think on having single with a possible one time big profit. What if the situation would turn upside down? We wont even know if it would go as we expected or into opposite one. Having a single investment and in times of loss, then recovery would really be hard.
4867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your single biggest challenge or frustration when trading crypto? on: March 30, 2018, 08:46:46 PM
Hey guys, just curious, a lot of people have said that they are having issues when it comes to protecting their privacy when trading crypto because the places to buy crypto requiere them to submit sensitive information that can go as far as one's personal address. Do you guys have this same issue? And, what other issues do you guys have when trading?
So you do mean on KYC matters on exchanges? If it does then they are not really obliging you to submit since we can able to make trades with a unverified account but expect on the limitations when it comes to withdrawals because if you are already transacting big amounts then you are really obliged to submit documentations and on some instances its really real for some people who do make use other identity for the sake of verification.Sources of documents can be found online either on info leak or just been bought to others.
4868  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: where can I claim about problem of ico on: March 30, 2018, 08:09:36 PM
Pocketinns Official Announcement: We are pleased to announce that Pocketinns-Pinns Token official date of trading will start from March 12th on EtherDelta from 10am est (New York). but I can not find pinns on the EtherDelta,
then this Pocketinns offical has been no announced. where can I claim in this case,SEC or FINRA?
Are you one of the investors? On this case you cant sue em up unless if you do able to know the exact location on where the team is residing. You cant really make any complaints unless if that ICO is regulated. If tokens arent still on Etherdelta then possible cause might they are on delay or just on worst case they do ran of with the funds and just making alibis. There no updates and promised March 12 ED launch then most likely you are really heading on being scammed.
4869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have received the token and I am confused to sell it? What do you think on: March 30, 2018, 07:39:40 PM
I ask for your advice in invested or held up?
Sell on the exchange received a token or not, depends on the prospects and further relevance of this token. If the ICO project, as a result of which this token was released, will develop, and the token will grow in price, then it would be foolish to immediately sell it. We must at least wait until the project gets to its feet, and the token will become stronger and only then decide what to do with it. Of course, if you are not sure about the perspective of the created token, then it can be exchanged for a more promising token or coin.
It would really be just common sense into your own part on where if you do see recent updates and further development of the coin and the team still striving to enhance and doing into their job towards the project then its quiet understandable that holding this coin would really be worth on.If you havent see any further updates for that coin then its quiet obvious that selling out asap would be suited on this one.
4870  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will exchanges have learnt anything from this bubble? on: March 29, 2018, 09:46:06 PM
There is no such a thing as legit bull runs, there never has been. Each bull run we experienced created a fake sense of increased popularity, while in reality of nothing really has changed. Exchanges will never be able to completely adapt to the situation, because as pointed out, the hypes attracting people to sign up always fades away after a while, and that makes exchanges not upgrade too far ahead, which directly explains why they are reluctant to pump big capital into expanding their operations. Coinbase and a few other services have experienced numerous days where more than 100,000 people signed up, but I very much doubt that even 10% of that number actually end up walking themselves through the verification process. Overall, exchanges just try to balance everything in a way where they are still able to somewhat cope with the increased demand, but not in a way they have to break their bank for it. Quite often we keep hammering too hard on exchanges, which in some cases is well justified, but in some cases also not.
Basing into your presumptions i dont even believe that it would reach out 10% for people who would really comply such KYC policy.I would rather believe that only 5% would go though. For the on the current situation of the market,im sure they are already thinking of this thing thats why same as you said they dont really put up big amounts to extent this business. Why? They do know the risk when the market goes upside down. We are going down as of now an i would really observe each exchanges behavior into this one.
4871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I just go commit suicide? on: March 29, 2018, 08:59:50 PM
I invested half of my  saving ($25,000)  into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst.  I want to go kill myself   Huh
Current price as of writing is $393 which is even more lower on the range amount you are talking on. You can see it here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets . For the advice, you are the only one who do suffer such stress and struggles in life and same as yours there are lots of investors who are patiently waiting to this very bearish market.Dont let waste your life in just an amount of $25,000.Your life isnt worth on that amount,am i right?
4872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to identify ICO scam ?! some important tips ! on: March 29, 2018, 08:33:40 PM
Base on my experience Scam ICO is will be known if there is no assurance like how can a project run smoothly if it is listed and how can the platform be able to function as what it is, there are so many ICO which produces lots of FUDs saying that project will be to the moon LOL, isn't it too obvious? Part of marketing. a true ICO project deals with Good reputation of developers, well created website (also can be an option to see if secured or not) and last but not the least you can identify scam ICO in it's feedback.

Machi you may find the scam ICO with the detailed information they have spreaded on white paper pdf file. Sometime as you said it may created by the some best ann creator and share it a fake one on the announcement thread.
If you able to find the developers details you write and ask about the project confirmation on LinkedIn. Normally This LinkedIn profile allows you to understand the project is whether going from the right hand or fake ERC20 creator.
If you do made further investigations then these things should really be done on which checking out profile of the team behind on such project. If you do see suspicious things then better skip and find another project to invest on. Decisions would really vary on what we have read and discovered. If you are lazy enough to read up things and seeking out important informations then most likely you would really able to fall into the trap.
4873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Why is it so difficult to open account in Bittrex? on: March 29, 2018, 06:54:01 PM
I do not have problems with login in bittrex because I've done verification last year, but not only you who have difficulty and many my friends who have problems. they try to do KYC verification but it always fails. I think bittrex is already doing security improvements.
OP isnt pertaining on logging in problems on which his main question do matter on creating a new account which is actually true that it would really be much harder for new accounts to be created since they are focusing with their backlogs and the same time they are already strict when it comes to KYC compliance.Even myself do forgot on my bittrex account which i have tried to send a ticket towards that but 2 weeks time im not still recieving any word from them yet.
4874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: March 29, 2018, 06:27:25 PM
Although new investors needs answers to this but it seems that ut isn't too late to invest.  Think of some coin buyer that needs money, they're always everywhere and it needs more time to collect more data. Don't to panic in investment always think the right path in success.
It is never too late to invest. There will always be a chance for new investors to get in at some point in time. As long as you know all the necessary things you need to, so as to be able to play well in your investments, then you will always do great in your investment and have an edge over those who do not. That is always the difference between those who know what to look out for and those who do not.

I wish I was able just to spend a bunch of money and just wait... I need my money tho so I gotta trade and go thru all that stress Cheesy
Ready to wait probably is the prime key to achieve big things in crypto trading. New investors must learn some basics of crypto trading, among many basics, ready to hold must be one should learn before touching trading.
Completely agree with your statement which its never been too late to invest and anytime would be the best time as long you do know on when to enter specially with this very volatile world of crypto. Moving prices is really very unpredictable even no matter how experienced you are you will still have the hesitations on making such move.Investments do really have lots of form or types it would just depend on which one you would choose up according to your knowledge.
4875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SCAMNETWORK - BUILDING SELF-SUSTAINING ANTI-SCAM SYSTEMS on: March 28, 2018, 10:44:11 PM
This network would be a P2P platform built for the victims of scams to seek help locating and identifying their scammers. All bounties placed for those scammers are escrowed by smart contract and all bounty reports would be analysed by experts and AI built by our team to ensure the validity of the information given.

I love the motive but would really be hard to achieve in my own opinion. If this would really resolve such scam cases then this thing would boom up.Im not still sure on how investors would get their assurance though.
4876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 28, 2018, 10:40:40 PM
The workability of signature campaigns in promoting and advertising many ICOs has really made an impact when it comes to projecting a project globally in this forum,I have read many success stories of many ICOs reaching there soft cap and hard cap in a  quick succession after advertising there ICO via signature campaign here.

Yeah that's why many ICOs are promote their ICO in this bitcointalk forum, if it's not effective why people still want to promote their ICO with signature campaign. Bitcointalk is also the biggest forum about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, many crypto users gather in this forum and talk about cryptocurrency.

Good icos reach hard cap because all the marketing, including bounty campaigns here. I am one of the people who don`t check ico if they don`t have bounty campaign here. That is the first thing I check about them, and how active is the community that plan to support ico.
By me signature and bounty campaigns on this forum are the most important one, along with all other campaigns, good campaigns cover all the fields, forums, social medias, news and article campaigns, and all other campaigns they are active everywhere.
Having a good marketing is always or must-have kind of thing when you do launch an ICO since this would really spread the awareness on such existences of your potential project. Its really hard to believe for a project getting success without having too much active marketing which i do find it shady.Same as yours when i do tend to invest i do always look up on how big the community support and the way it do emphasize when it comes to marketing.
4877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Have to wait till Bitcoin Bear Market is over for Alts to climb again? on: March 28, 2018, 10:00:17 PM
When you guys think that will be
If you want to see the entire market going up, you should see a good rally from the bitcoin coin market, but if there are individual coins which have a good potential and are under valued ,it could make a move without the help of bitcoin market, if not the entire market will ride on either directions depending on the price of bitcoin and the news around the world.
The main indication would really be entirely depending on bitcoin market. If we do see price increase and the entire marketcap gradually increasing it does really signifies that altcoin would be heading the same way too.In reality we do have similar question in mind on when price of alts would climb again. For now we are still on bear market and we wont even know on when it would end for us to see again a reversal market trend.
4878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 28, 2018, 08:58:25 PM
-snip
Scammers are everywhere and probably due to the prime advantage of cryptos, being anonymous, these scammers may have some extra edge. But being careful in common weapon everywhere which will protect us for sure.
Yes those scammers are really tactical due to the feature of cryptocurrencies of being anonymous.

And they can see the advantage on it if they will pursue their shady activities. I'm worried to those new investors but will land to the wrong people and investment.

The impact that it will bring to that investors will make them pessimistic to crypto's once they became a victim.
Case to case basis since possible results would be depending on how people would rush in on involving theirselves into crypto. If one is sensible enough then this forum would really be a great help for him to avoid potential risk on getting scammed. You should read up things into this forum and learn up things which you havent known before and you will surely save yourself on getting scammed.
4879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NO more BOOOOM on: March 28, 2018, 08:31:03 PM
All these predictions about cryptocurrencies downfall are a bunch of crypto negativity which can be avoided and then remain focus. America did this or that are just FUD.  The blockchain technology is just too far above all these.
We dont even know on whose behind with this negativity or such movements which do result into falling market but well i do believe on the thing you do said that blockchain technology is too far above where does it mean that it will really progress no matter what and i do really believe on such thing. We might still assure if it would progress or adopted but rest assured this would really be a great innovation when it comes to payment system.
For OP,i dont know why he do mention about america.
4880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have received the token and I am confused to sell it? What do you think on: March 27, 2018, 09:49:09 PM
I ask for your advice in invested or held up?
Which coin you are talking on? Since you havent mentioned on what coin you are holding because we do all know that there are thousands of coins in the market and we dont even know on what coin you are holding which cant really make a suggestion if you would hold it for long term or sell it already. Coins do classified on two things, the potential ones and the crappy ones. If you hold up not so special coins then you can opt out on selling it as long its on profits then its a very good thing to be done.If you are holding a good coin then holding it on for long term is also a good choice.
