501  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Freewallet.Org: More Freedom From Freewallet on: December 15, 2017, 01:50:10 PM
how to output tokens that are under the erc 20 but are not added to your wallet? How to get a private key from the ETH purse? Sad Sad

pool77520, Freewallet supports all currently traded ERC20 tokens; you can view the list of the most popular ones here. If your token isn’t listed with us, however, it’s present on exchanges, please contact our support to get it added.

The option to import/export your private keys is currently available on the BTC wallet; we're planning to extend it to altcoins in the future.

Babar07, apologies for the inconvenience! Could you please provide us with your user id so that we were able to prioritize the processing of your support request? The user id can be found in the Settings section of the app; it's an internal id we use, so listing it in public won't jeopardize your wallet security, neither it can grant the access to your wallet balance. Thanks in advance, looking forward to your reply!

504  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Wallet by Freewallet on: December 15, 2017, 01:30:41 PM
Hey dev are we able to import/export private keys and does the wallet have the sign feature??

"Send BTC to almost any altcoin address right in the app;
Top up the wallet with almost any coin and receive BTC"
Could you give more detailed infos on these two points?
I think Freewallet is not only limited to wallet services, seems like the offer automatic exchanges to match preferred order when buying or selling .

Fidemoga, Pamoldar, thanks for your questions! We've partnered with Changelly.com, an exchange service powering up all smart transactions (exchanges) in Freewallet. You can read more about topping up your BTC wallet with most coins and sending BTC to addresses in other networks in our knowledge base articles.

As for importing/exporting private keys, we have this option in both the BTC wallet and for BTC in our Multi Wallet app. You can import coins from other wallets as well as export their wallet balance using a private key or a mnemonic seed phrase (for HD wallets). We'll be posting an update with more details about it soon, stay tuned!

So a lot of good wallets but anyway I will try setup it to unix system. I have a question, why you didn't open source "freewallet"?
HALLASTERA, being a closed source product doesn't make it any less secure or functional. We're proud of our apps and consider them to be our intellectual property.

I recommend not keeping your coins in this organization of unknown origin, support does not answer 5 days, is this normal? Angry Angry Angry

pool77520, apologies for the delay, we're getting a lot of user requests these days! Please provide your user id so that we could prioritize the processing of your case. The user id can be found in the Settings section of the app; it's an internal id we use, so listing it in public won't jeopardize your wallet security, neither it can grant the access to your wallet balance. Hi Freewallet

What is the story with Zcash send transactions
Last 2 weeks I tried to send coins several times and send that without problems just ones. Last 24 hours transactions even are not accepted. I see "under construction banner" but when do you plan to complete that?
I like your app it is convenient but if I can not receive/send coin then other functionality is useless. As well could you be more user oriented.
If you plan some maintaining please please please notify users ahead. As well you support must be support but not a "bot" which just provide useless unswers

Hi drowt, we're performing maintenance on our ZCash wallet, which is why some operations may be temporarily suspended. Please see the notification in the app: once the maintenance is over, we'll let our users know. Apologies for the inconvenience!

I received response that is working on it and should refund soon. My question is if use ETH wallet from freewallet app when genesis MNE address was collected i will can receive them?

If you gave your ETH address as the destination for your MNE tokens, you should be able to receive and access them with our Token Wallet app.

Freewallet, a mobile-first cryptowallet developer, has presented a full-scale Multi Wallet version for desktop. This significant release tops off 2017 run by the company that has accomplished 8 new currencies this year including such ambitious projects as the world-first Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold wallet.

In less than 2 years, Freewallet team have released more than 20 dedicated apps for popular cryptocurrencies and tokens. Shortly after the release of the mobile Multi Wallet for Android and iOS the team started receiving plenty of requests to proceed with further development of a service for storing, managing and exchanging various coins in one place.

"We were initially planning to deliver solutions for each coin and its corresponding network individually," Alvin Hagg, Freewallet co-founder, recounts. "That seemed logical at that time because there was a community with unique goals and needs behind each coin. However, we soon discovered that a vast group of people didn't limit their portfolios to a single cryptocurrency and were inspired by the blockchain technology in general. That was exactly why we decided to bring the Multi Wallet to a whole new level."

After months in beta and extensive testing, the web-based Multi Wallet is currently available in full on Freewallet's website. After logging in with the preferred authorization method (e-mail, Facebook, Google+ or mobile number) users have access to a variety of features including the signature one: free instant transactions of the same coin among Freewallet users. This option comes especially handy these days when even major networks (such as Bitcoin) are massively overloaded, resulting in delays in transactions and spiralling fees. Being able to move coins instantly and at zero charges is crucial for our customers, and Freewallet is proud to offer an optimum solution to them.

Other unique options presented both in Multi Wallet and other Freewallet apps feature fast and simple integrated cross-currency exchanges and a multilayer asset protection system with customizable email confirmations, the PIN code and 2-factor authentication.

The Multi Wallet for the web would be a great choice not only for multi-asset holders looking for extended mobility but also for Freewallet users with Apple devices in particular. Most coins and practically all tokens used to be available in the Android app only due to the lack of Apple's support for them. However, with the new Multi Wallet, it's now possible to view and manage the uncapped selection of crypto assets that Freewallet offers.

To get started, visit app.freewallet.org. Please feel free to get back to us with any questions or comments!

511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Freewallet.org redirected transaction to unknown adresss on: December 13, 2017, 12:23:21 PM
I really don't appreciate that wallet. If you see their facebook page it has negative reviews and there many complaints against the freewallet team.

sumangs, you keep posting the same message about Freewallet in different topics; yet when we try to get more details about your situation, all attempts to get a reply from you are ignored. Is there some issue we can help you with? Let us know, please!
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Freewallet.org redirected transaction to unknown adresss on: December 13, 2017, 12:15:14 PM
evgenzh, we're sorry to hear you're disappointed, although we understand your emotions. Please don't forget that our support reps are keeping you updated via multiple channels, and we're working on resolving your situation.

A quick recap: what you attempted to do was a smart transaction (an exchange, in other words) from Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash. As transactions of one coin cannot be properly posted when you send them to an address of a different network: that is why you need to make an exchange of one coin to another one. In Freewallet, you can choose to top up your wallet balance with coins from a number of networks. Upon selecting the coin, you can see a so-called smart address: it's a service address in the same network as your sending address, and the coins sent there are further exchanged to the desired currency and delivered to your destination address.

3JzvEy64J63pDv7KjyKsVzupMgKcwdgQU4 is a smart address for incoming BTC transactions, which is used for exchanging Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash. That address doesn't belong to Freewallet, it's one of our exchange partner's service addresses. Apparently, due to issues on the exchange service's side, your transaction couldn't be completed. However, that doesn't mean that your funds are lost: we have already placed a refund request with Changelly, so your Bitcoin will be returned to your Freewallet address.

We'll do our best to speed up the processing of your refund, however, please note that such operations take time and resources and require certain technical, financial and security procedures. Our support team will keep you posted on the progress of your refund and will notify you once it's completed. We'd appreciate if you didn't create multiple support tickets, but rather responded in the existing in-app chat. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lost BTC on: December 13, 2017, 11:39:13 AM
I tried to convert BTC from Coinbase account to BCC (Bitcoin Cash) in my Freewallet BCC wallet using Changelly. Instead of sending to Changelly address, I mistakenly sent directly to my Freewallet address which did not receive them.
Are the coins lost or is there a way to get them back?

musv, the high season brings a lot of activities and thus support requests; however, if you message us your user id, we'll do our best to speed up the process of your refund. Looking forward to your reply!
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: December 13, 2017, 11:22:25 AM
I have tried to contact freewallet user here in forum but no success, no answer. Also i still didn't get my MNE from genesis address. I think is a small chance to get them from freewallet app.

Apologies for the delay! Please message us your user id: we'll be able to pull up your support requests, and our reps will provide you with an update. The support for MNE was added to our Token Wallet app, so there shouldn't be issues with accessing them.
515  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ScammyMcScammersonScamsters on: December 13, 2017, 11:14:58 AM
Hi Freewallet.  You guys have been playing games and jerking me around for 4 months trying to get BNB refunded.

As of now, they are supposedly sitting in the android version of the wallet.  However, when I click "send" in the wallet to withdraw the funds, the screen goes black and the app presumedly freezes.  I've tried on several emulators and on a friends Android phone and the result is always the same...

Meanwhile, I email support and get a response 24 hrs later asking for a screen shot... GUYS, THE SCREEN IS BLACK.  There's nothing to screenshot.

I need these tokens now, not in another 4 months when you fix this bug.  Please... convert them to eth for me so I can access in the Apple wallet or send the BNB to the address I designated in the support chat.  This isn't rocket surgery.  My friends and I will be leaving 1 negative review in the app store each day, until I have my Tokens.

To anyone else experiencing issues, I suggest you go leave a 1 star review right now.  They have a surprisingly low number of reviews, and if we all leave a bad review, the app should get pulled from the app store fairly quickly.  Maybe that will force them to address serious flaws in their software and support.  Enough is enough.  How many people have lost money because these guys can't get their shit together.

My ID is 572d9b9

Fix my shit yo!  Dedicate 1 person to work with me to resolve this in a timely manner, that answers my messages.  Do whatever you need to do to get me my tokens.  Being friendly in the support chat isn't enough... when you hold someone's funds and make excuses it looks supper f'n scammy.

Hi Michael, sorry to hear you're disappointed! Your BNB tokens became available in the Token Wallet app as soon as the support for BNB tokens was added. If you're having issues with sending out your BNB, please get back to our support team and provide more information on your attempted transaction.

For example, if you received a request for a screenshot, obviously, a black screen wouldn't be of much use. However, a screenshot of the app BEFORE you hit the Send button will give us the idea of how much BNB you're sending and the address this transaction is supposed to go. Also, since you're messaging us from your Apple device, we would need more details on the Android device you're using, such as the make & model of it, your OS, app version, etc. Our support reps will request all extra details we need for the research in the in-app chat. With your help, we'll be able to find out what the reason for this issue is and fix it ASAP.

Finally, submitting fake reviews is against both Google Play and App Store regulations. And taking time to respond to such reviews doesn't actually help our support reps concentrate on resolving your issue. What does help in your case is working along with our support team and providing us with the requested information so that we could make sure your transaction goes through without any issues. Thanks on advance!
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Freewallet help re: 266 STEEM on: December 13, 2017, 10:49:36 AM
Yes, I did reach out in a personal message but didn't hear back.  I assumed he's probably looking into the progress and waiting to come back with a material update.  I'm just hoping for something like "Your coins are expected to be refunded by Dec 22nd etc." or if not that precise something like "in roughly 2 weeks time. Thank you for your patience and patronage." etc.

Mark, apologies for the delay! Christmas season brings not only presents, but the increased volume of operations with cryptos as well, so our support team is dealing with lots of requests at this time. However, your refund is already being processed; we expect it to be completed by the end of this week or early the coming week the latest. Thanks a lot for your patience and understanding!
517  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Wallet by Freewallet on: December 07, 2017, 09:41:58 AM
And if security problems are not resolved at all, what then?

That's not an option: our users won't be left hanging. We're in contact with Tether developers and are currently expecting an update. Stay tuned!
518  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Wallet by Freewallet on: December 07, 2017, 09:40:31 AM
How long will it take to solve these problems??? I'm already waiting for more than 12 days!!! During this time, it was already possible to change something! And if the problems are not eliminated at all, what will happen to the money that I sent to my address???

It's a network issue, not a wallet one. You might have heard of a recent report on several millions USD stolen because of a Tether vulnerability? Our mission is to make sure our users are protected from such attacks, which is why we're maintaining our wallets secure.

As our support reps have informed you, once the maintenance is completed, your transaction will be posted to your Tether wallet or returned to the sender: either way, your funds aren't lost. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
519  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FREEWallet.org SCAM ( Don't use any of their iOS or Android APP) on: December 07, 2017, 09:06:45 AM
support a question! at the txid it is unclear where the money went and where it needs to be a return of funds. Unable to decode output address, then the address of the recipient was specified incorrectly. How long you will be fix it?

NorilskWorker, before a refund is made, we confirm the destination for it with each user, so there's no mix-up.
520  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FREEWallet.org SCAM ( Don't use any of their iOS or Android APP) on: December 04, 2017, 07:36:08 AM
I want to believe that they are not a scam but my transactions had been stuck for more than 10 days!!!! The response from support each time is i will get refunded and it should not take more than a couple of days. I understand that its my mistake for accidentally transfer BCC to my BTC wallet, since FREEWALLET users don't hold their own private keys, we are at the losing end. They take control of our wallet, i don't feel safe anymore. They did not keep me posted with any updates such as the extraction process and stuff. "Wait" is not enough to keep me calm!!!!!!!!!! If you guys are not a fraud then do something!!!! My userID is ee9cf57c

Apologies for the inconvenience! We're currently having an increased number of incoming support requests, and while we're extending our team to reduce the case processing period, there could be some delays with replies. Please give us a bit more time to get the confirmation on your refund from our exchange partner: we'll notify you once it's completed. Thanks for your understanding!
