They might charge you insane transaction fees like freewallet.
We appreciate if you could refer to specific cases and transactions when unreasonably high fees were charged by Freewallet.

Is there a list of exchanges that were contacted and are supporting this fork?
Freewallet has not been responsive. this new wallet consumes even more resource than previous and i needed 5h to sync 30 days behind when will you launch a light wallet?
The new wallet consumes the same amount of resources as the previous version. The time to sync the last 30 days would have been exactly the same as if you used the older client. Light wallet is planned but there is no ETA at the moment. Freewallet is currently reviewing the code. The same goes for the possibility of support of the new fork. We'll update users on our decision in our official news releases.

XMR_fan, we are willing to find a prompt and efficient resolution for your case. However, so far, we've not received sufficient information for the resolution of your issue. Please check your email for an update from our support team, send us the requested details and we'll proceed further.
What is his issue ! it seems that depositing money into your wallet is an issue itself ! If your service did not ask for any KYC or warn about it before depositing you simply have no right to ask for it when withdrawing . Every respected service warn their users before they apply KYC and give them a window to withdraw there money before KYC get enabled if they know they wont pass this KYC . And you are wallet not an exchange why the hell you need KYC . You may refer to our "Terms of use".
|
|
|
So Freewallet is asking KYC information before you can access your "wallet" again? In my definition, a wallet is something that gives you and only you full access to your private keys, which means you and only you have full power to do whatever you want with your funds. If Freewallet has the power to freeze your funds, why does it call itself "wallet" and not (for instance) "bank"?
We are based on our terms and conditions. To prevent third parties from gaining an unauthorized access to the users account, we may ask for additional verification.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed! Looks like the user verification procedure has been launched for your account. It means your transactions have been temporarily suspended for security purposes. Please update this thread with your user ID so that we could prioritize the investigation on your support request.

xmr_fan, we noticed unusual activity on your account, which is why your transactions have been temporarily suspended for security purposes. Please get back to our support reps and follow their instructions to complete the user verification procedure. Once you've done that, you'll be able to resume your operations. Thank you for your understanding!

This is taken from your website, "When we notice suspicious activity in customers’ accounts we immediately block them for security reasons. In accordance with the AML policy to which Freewallet subscribes, we kindly ask you to go through the account verification procedure" What gives you the right to block users if you're only a wallet provider ? As a wallet service provider, it's our mission to ensure the security of users' assets. Blocking accounts in case of suspicious activity is temporary; as soon as users pass the user verification procedure and we make sure it's the account owners who performed the operations in question on their accounts, they are unblocked. It's a standard procedure, and many Freewallet users have already passed it.

mannaart, our support reps responded to every one of your emails providing you with the requested information. In case you haven't got the replies, here they are once again: 1) There wasn't an NXT hard fork, you must be referring to the Ardor Genesis Snapshot was taken at block height 1636363 on the NXT blockchain. It resulted in the IGNIS airdrop only, not ARDR. 2) All NXT holders with Freewallet have already received their IGNIS. Here's what you need to do to see them: please download the Multi Wallet for Android or log in online with your credentials for the NXT wallet. Then select IGNIS in the list of available coins and create a new address. After that, check your IGNIS balance.

evolutionnow, just to remind you, Steem was delisted 1 month & 1 week ago. The instability of the Steem blockchain that had been causing transaction delays long before that was one of the reasons why we came to the decision to stop supporting this coin.
You might want to look up the difference between the offline cold storage and a hot wallet. Our users had 2,5 weeks to move their coins to their external wallets themselves, and we're not refusing to help them either. However, retrieving coins from the cold storage for each user individually will take too much time; as of now, we're getting ready to make a series of Steem transfers for all people who have submitted their requests by now, including you.
|
|
|
evolutionnow, as our support reps have already informed you, your Steem will be delivered to the external address of yours as soon as there's a technical possibility for it. Your coins are in the cold storage, and retrieving them requires certain procedures after the delisting.
That's right, you're not the only one who hadn't moved the delisted coins from Freewallet before the announced deadline. And we're working on their cases as well, not only on yours. Please give us the time to do our job; as you can see, we're not denying you any communication or claiming you won't be able to retrieve your Steem assets.
