21  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet.org is SCAM !! DO NOT USE THIS WALLET !![Solved] on: November 19, 2021, 09:16:55 AM
You mean he received his money and you didnt ask him to post here the issue was solved? The link you posted could be related to something completely different. The member didnt post again. I am giving you the benefit of doubt and removed the reference to this case from my post. Waiting for the resolution of welburn1485 case. My opinion about you and your business stands. Allows anonymous accounts and then blocks them to see if the users refuse to send documents to keep their money. Opportunistic scammer.

We mean that the referenced issue is now resolved.

Another of my favorite scams. Your case got an answer from them. If you contacted authorities it isnt a surprise they answered you. They solve the problem if keeping the money starts to look too dangerous. Their tactics is blocking the money with a fake motive like verification. Reject documents sent with lies and expect the scammed user wont go to the police. Several days have passed. Did they return your money?

SCAMMMM!!!!!

Hello

This accusing member didnt post again. Appreciation of a ticket doesnt mean the money was returned.

29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your first choice of a bitcoin wallet? on: August 22, 2021, 03:42:14 PM
What is your first choice of a bitcoin wallet?  If its a free wallet thats even better.
Well I have to admit that I have chosen the wrong free wallet before which made some of the coins lost. That was a freewallet.org, a mobile app wallet that has horrible service, I have lost a lot of my tokens as a bounty hunter and even their support did not answer you. Prepare your nightmare if you will sue this wallet, I suggest avoiding this wallet as much as possible. Later on, I discover Coinomi wallet which is support altcoins and bitcoin as well, but since you cannot modify the fees for bitcoin I am looking for a single bitcoin wallet that supports only bitcoin and fortunately --I found electrum that is a free good bitcoin wallet, you can use as a cold or hot wallet.

Sorry to hear that.
We always encourage our customers to make sure if the token is supported by our platform prior to making any transaction.
May we have your user ID or ticket number?

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some questions about Cryptocurrency. on: April 14, 2021, 02:57:46 PM
You don't have to worry with those coins, if they don't have their own supporting wallet, most of them are ERC20 tokens which you only need to have an Ethereum address/wallet for you to keep those tokens. There's a newer one which is called BSC, a few are made from those but there's a likely that many projects will also start working with it. Just make your own Ethereum wallet if the token you want is an ERC20 token. Well, if a dev creates a wallet that supports all the cryptos in the market it will be a total waste I guess. But that's a good idea, maybe a dev will develop a wallet that supports all of it.
What do you mean by "Just make your own Ethereum wallet if the token you want is an ERC20 token."? I have a Freewallet account and it generated an Ethereum address for me. Thus, if a token is based on Ethereum, then I can use my Ethereum address to receive it?

Hello hack3rcon,

Please deposit tokens only to the relevant deposit address of a token. For example, if you trade with Vechain, it shall be a Vechain address rather than an Ethereum one.
We tried to elucidate these aspects in our Support Section (freewallet org website) - Solutions - Tokens & Currencies - tokens and coins article. You can also contact our support team.

Hello, I downloaded freewallet app on iOS and didn’t read the reviews like an idiot!! I deposited $100,000 in Monero and I got the “suspicious activity email”. They wanted selfie with ID which I have provided to them and still no response.

Please tell me these guys are legit and I didn’t get robbed for my 100k in monero??

Hi there! Could you please share your support ticket number here? We will look into it and get back to you with an update.

My ticket number is 297876. So far 72+ hours and they claim my photos have been altered with. I sent new photos right away. I’m fed up with them. If only they responded as fast as they tweet..

Hello Spidermantheman1,

39  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FreeWallet.org is a scam - Elon Musk account locked by Freewallet criminals on: March 04, 2021, 12:18:11 PM
Quite surprising to me Freewallet locked Elon Musk's account. Wondering how he had chosen such as a wallet. If this wallet could lock Elon Musk's wallet then who we are? They could lock our account at any time without notice since they don't care about Elon Musk as well. Legal action should take against Trustwallet and I think it's quite easy for Elon Musk.

Anyway, seems many scam accusation against Trustwallet, so it's better to avoid that. Thanks OP to bring it to the right place, other users would take a lesson from here.

Edit, seems they solved the issue.

We just wanted to add,

We don't make decisions based on someone's popularity or income, neither do our security algorithms. He reached out to us with his issue and submitted a support ticket. Everyone who does so will always have their problem resolved.
40  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Elon talk about freewallet app on: March 04, 2021, 12:15:48 PM
Hey!

We just wanted to add to the discussion.

His account was suspended due to suspicious activity. Many accounts are, as a matter of fact, and if followed by a support ticket - we resolve the issue within a day. We do it faster than banks do. Our security algorithms worked perfectly and instantly paused the suspicious activity. If somebody lost their funds because algorithms didn't work - that'd be a real problem. We are open to explain what happened, but we can't share any personal data for obvious reasons.
Thank you for your interest in the topic!
