501  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tothemoon.casino: List of Crypto Casino’s with Live MoonTravel/BTC Calc. 🚀🌕 on: September 01, 2021, 09:46:50 PM
The reviews provided on your site need to have more indepth into like legitimacy of project,  how easy it is to withdraw money etc. Such reviews can help gamblers in choosing the right website. Overall it's a good effort.
And they also have to an overall a good website because there's a lot of competitors out there so it's going to a be a really good thing that they're much better on anything else rather than being good at only one aspect of the business.

I think, one thing that they can add is the actual feedback/review from the players of the site. They can add a tab where anyone can comment or post their feedback. The actual review is sometimes important especially for new players. However, if you are a forum user here, you can easily go to the thread of the gambling site itself and see for yourself about the feedback. But for gamblers outside the forum who happen to encounter their review site, would be nice for them to see actual reviews.
502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P Crypto Trading - Which Platform Do You Use & Why? on: September 01, 2021, 01:59:12 PM
I use Binance P2P as I met many local sellers who always help me withdraw anytime I want. Besides Binance, I use local sellers in the other place.

The only reason why I use P2P rather than exchanges is that the P2P services are faster than the exchanges. The exchanges can wait for one day to complete the transactions but the P2P can complete in just less than 15 minutes.

This is actually one of the major edges of p2p, very fast. And if you compare it to your local exchange, some methods will really need time before it will be credited to your account. I also use binance p2p because you have no problem converting your coin to any popular alt because they have very good liquidity so you can also get better rates. I believe a lot are now utilizing this service of binance. And if they will keep on adding other fiat currencies, this will really serve a lot of crypto users around the globe.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to make money or for FUN? on: September 01, 2021, 01:37:07 PM
Yeah, I think you can have the best of both worlds, you can have fun at the same time make money out of it. But for those who play and wanted to earn, might be difficult because in every bet you make, the chance of you losing is very high. And besides that, if you have profited already then it's time to quit. The problem with gamblers who wanted money is that they wanted more, and sooner or later the house edge will caught up with them. So just have some fun and enjoy and just play money that you can afford to lose.

I can say, I am more on just having fun. As I know in the long run, I will lose money when I really sit down to play. So I just allot certain amount to gamble. Once it is gone, it means, time to park my game and just continue once I have extra. But I bet on sports that I really like and on my favorite team. But with sportsbetting, even if I lose, that's fine, as long as I am rooting for certain team or individual to win. In my experience, I really don't see gambling as a way to make money.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria leads sub-Saharan Africa’s P2P bitcoin trade on: September 01, 2021, 11:10:43 AM
~

Correct. The central bank had a banking ban in place until very recently and even now Bitcoin is in the grey sector and not 100% legal in Nigeria. And I am not surprised by the hostility shown by the Nigerian central bank. In most of the third world countries, it is like that. In fact in countries such as Bangladesh, the situation is even worse. If the El Salvador experiment succeeds, then we can expect a profound change in the attitudes of the central banks in the next 1-2 years. But if it fails, then the future prospects will get more difficult for the users.
I do agree with you, third world countries have a hard time accepting bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because they know it's power and that they will lose it if they let it go free, to be honest third world countries have the most corrupt government there is. I do hope that the El Salvador experiment succeeds but the problem is that we mostly see negative news in some threads in this forum regarding bitcoin in El Salvador.

Third world countries in the Asian region are more acceptable in crypto. But anyway, the introduction of bitcoin as legal tender in El Salvador will for sure be contradicted by some people  in their country. There will always somebody that will find it negative. And most of them are usually have no idea how to deal with crypto, they just blindly contradict the concept of it. And in terms of increasing p2p in the African region, I guess, sooner or later, their governments will finally regulate the use of crypto, so they can also get the share from this business. Because if not, this p2p trading will still exist.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPN into a betting deal worth 3 billion dollars $$$ on: September 01, 2021, 09:30:00 AM
What do you think Huh
I do believe they might get involved with the crypto casinos too soon enough!!
Something to watch out for.
I thought the whole news are all about going into crypto casinos, nevertheless this is a great start and going into online gambling is a good opportunity especially now that many people tend to spend more on online gambling than to go to the physical casinos simply because there's still a threat of getting infected.

ESPN is a huge company and if they go into crypto gambling as well, then they might dominate the market but of course expect that their competitor will take this seriously, so this is till not an easy journey for ESPN.

More than likely, they will venture first in fiat-based casino and once they are settled, adding crypto may be easier for them. Fiat-based online casinos are still bigger than crypto-based. But crypto gambling business is on the rise because of the popularity of crypto in the market. And with many benefits dealing with crypto, for one, a lot of them still don't require KYC, many will be attracted to use crypto casinos once they learn the benefits derived from it.
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How cryptocurrency trading have helped the youth. on: August 31, 2021, 11:15:20 PM
Many of my colleagues have also experienced a great help through their trading on cryptocurrency ever since this pandemic have started since we were out of school and have to stay home, we still wanted to find some sort of source of income to provide our needs and that is when some of my friends put themselves into engaging into cryptocurrency trading and other stuffs related to crypto so I can testify that trading, investing and other cryptocurrency related jobs have financed and help youths during these days.
Yes it is and its a great help because it doesnt really need technical skills for you to deal or engage with crypto specially with trading and some other basic stuffs which you can deal off and make some money on it.

If you do know on what you are doing then you would really be having the edge or opportunity that could get compared into those who dont touched their foot into this market.

If you dont take risk then you wont earn nothing but of course there would be always that chance on losing instead. So its a matter of risk acceptance and
sustainability.

I can say the same as when I started here in crypto, I have no idea how trading works. But thru time, we learn our tips and tricks. And I really believe that this pandemic crisis created a lot of new crypto traders as most of us were stuck at home during the height of this pandemic, and we were looking for ways on how to augment our income. This is a better avenue rather than spending your time in bad vices or habits. With this, you are not only helping yourself but also your family.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 31, 2021, 10:23:34 PM
The odds will not be near to Inoue's odds, though Casimero has gained some attention due to his technique, people still look at the previous fights of both fighters and Inoue has more impressive fights compared to Casimero. We are just excited to see them fight because there's none other that could potentially match Inoue's skills in this division.
^ They are both aggressive fighters and I believe it is tougher to choose where to place a bet.
Though Casimero has gained too much attention it does mean he will potentially win this match, I believe that Inoue has better stamina than him.
I know that most commonly trash-talkers will gain too much attention but in an actual fight, they don't survive. However, let us see who will be gonna win, my bet is in Inoue.

It's always been tough to choose where to place our money because we don't know who's gonna win and how much we would win. As I've said before Inoue will be the favorite to win whoever he faces in this weight category, he is the uncrowned king of the Bantamweight division IMO but the road for the crown is not so easy with Casimero blocking the road.

I think, bookies will favor on Inoue here. But we may see the odds once there is official announcement of their fight as the announcement of Casimero is not yet official.

https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/8/31/22650419/john-riel-casimero-return-december-11-wants-inoue-donaire-boxing-news-2021

Seems that we will see another action packed fight before the end of this year. Will Casimero shut up if Inoue beats him? Or Casimero will beat Inoue?
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling Websites on: August 31, 2021, 09:26:43 PM
Greatest sports gambling, in my opinion, depends on the individual because we all have various interests and likes when it comes to a platform, therefore it's difficult to say who is the best.
Sportsbet.io is the sports betting platform that I use the most because it has all of the sports that I'm interested in. I'm also an eSports gambler, then it also includes eSports betting, and the best part is that it has Valorant, CS:GO, and Dota 2 on it. I can't find other gambling platforms that have 3 of the eSports game that I've mentioned.

I also like to play at sportsbet.io; But Valorant, CS:GO, Dota, Counter Strike are available at any good sportsbook that provides e-sports betting.
These are the most common e-sports title you know that. But I prefer to play at sportsbet.io cause it is kinda fast in my location and its contrast is eye-friendly.
And most often I have to stay at outside of the home, I can access Sportsbet by using the app version.

Being the best sportsbook really depends on several factors and it varies from one gambler to another as they have different preferences. But in this forum, I have seen that sportsbet, stake, bitsler and FJ are reputable ones to go to. Now, some gamblers may check about the list of their sports because like for example, finaleshot is more on esports gambling, so he will look for those esports with of course good odds. Whereas, some of them consider about the withdrawal fee of the site. So bottomline, everyone has their best choice here just play on reputable ones to avoid losses of funds.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN | AXIE DOGE 🐶 on: August 31, 2021, 08:10:41 PM
I am assuming the people behind this has nothing to do with the original platform Axie Infinity, which is now getting popular among gamers. And you just coined the names "Axie" and "Doge", as they are both popular these days. Do you think you will have no problem using the term "Axie" if Axie team learns about this platform? Copyright infringement, just think about it.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPN into a betting deal worth 3 billion dollars $$$ on: August 30, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
What do you think Huh
I do believe they might get involved with the crypto casinos too soon enough!!
Something to watch out for.

Since it's ESPN, they already built a big name in the sports industry, and adding a gambling-related firm on their service, they might become a big competitor on fiat bookies competition.

But on the crypto side, I doubt they will be involved in it right away unless there's a mass call of request about it. Online gambling is currently in demand nowadays but on the side mostly of fiat online booking.

I think they will look at crypto payment method here also but more than likely, they will focus on fiat payment first. As crypto payment is getting popular these days, it will not be surprise if they will add this on their options. But I believe, it depends on their arrangement with their license. Sometimes it would take time to include another payment like this one - crypto, as they need to get good grasp first on how things are being handled when it comes to crypto.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: August 30, 2021, 11:21:55 PM
That's very strict in my opinion, nevertheless, the government has the total power to control everything so gamblers in Ireland can't do anything about it. But gamblers will be gamblers, this is just one step, but they will always find a way to bet on any sports regardless of this credit card bans. So I don't think they can really curb upon gambling in their country, on the contrary it might get worst as those gamblers will find a way to continue their activity or worse their addiction through loan sharks.

Gamblers will always find a way how to bet on their sports. This is just one way to limit their credit card usage. Maybe, the government is also receiving complaints from these credit card providers so they take action where they have control over with. But I do agree that these regular gamblers, they can go beyond their means if they need to just to gamble.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 30, 2021, 09:23:41 PM
I am sure all who bet on Jake must have filled their bags. Jake was on fire from the beginning. The fight was really interesting to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6YQSMQcV7M. Woodly was defending often then hitting where as Jake was just on his toe to keep hitting Woodly. Yes Woodly as well had given few strong hits at his 5 th or 6th round. Seriously it was really amazing. Yes Jake has finally own.

It seems to me that Paul's next exhibition fight, if there's any, his asking price will be much higher than this match definitely. Wow, he just upgraded his level in terms of purse earnings. But he should choose opponent which is really worth to watch and popular among boxing fans. Or will be another MMA fighter on the line? He is becoming rich because of these exhibition fights, guess, he will continue this while there are still fans buying his PPV.

514  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 29, 2021, 11:43:43 PM
Despite which parties who approaching first, the fact that rollbit came to this forum is a good thing. Since that time they have become more active in held promos nor contests and bring several new interesting things to the gambling community such as bonus battle and challenge features in particular.

I agree. Regarding crypto casinos, I personally never look beyond this forum for recommendations. I am often hesitant to try new casinos when they are popping up, but once they have established reputations like Rollbit has, the doubts are gone.
Much of that reputation is due to good marketing and careful management, and Hhampuz is among the best managers out there.

What caught my attention here is their crypto trading feature. At first, I thought it is just the regular trading platform but upon checking it is a betting platform about the price of the coin involved. And they have several alts involved. This is more like crypto betting exchange rather than trading. I can agree also that with known CM handling their campaign, their trust level further increased.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 29, 2021, 10:54:18 PM
Is Inoue open to fight Casimero now?

I know its normal for some boxer to trashtalk because it can trigger your opponent to challenge you and see whose stronger but I dont like this behavior of Casimero.

Anyway their first scheduled fight were postponed last April so hopefully this will happen soon. Since like what the article stated, Casimero is willing to go to Inoue's territory just to fight him.

He is open to fight and he answered that they should do it inside the ring. But Casimero just came from a recent fight so there's still a resting time.
The thing is that we don't know if they're already communicating and setting this match as soon as possible.

They can schedule the fight by December, I'm sure Casimero had already had some rest now, and they can also start training as soon as the contract is signed. It's open to the public that Inoue wanted to have this fight this year, but until there's no contract signed, we can't assure we will see it this year.

For me the fight should happen next year, whether in US or in Inoue's Japan.

I agree that they need to rest first, one fight a year will be good enough. Besides although fans are still allowed to watch the fight live, it's better to happen in 2022 as more people have been vaccinated by then. And maybe they need to work out the terms of the fight and there could be a lot of back and forth changes

Some fighters can have 3 fights in one year.

Liked Canelo Alvarez will have his 3rd fight this year with Caleb Plant. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/348759

While Casimero and Inoue only had one fight this year so far, I think they are still good for the last one which could be scheduled in the last month of the year. I think Inoue should have not said that he wants to fight Casimero this year if he is not serious with that.

Yes, I do agree. Some boxers can fight more than one in a year. Remember Pacquiao-Broner & Pacquiao-Thurman last 2019. Consider the age of Pacquiao at that time at 40 yrs old. So these young boxers can definitely accommodate at least 2 fights in a year. We are waiting the official announcement of their promoters but hopefully this Inoue-Casimero fight will happen this year.
516  Economy / Gambling / Re: PLAY FORTUNA Casino [main topic] on: August 29, 2021, 08:28:48 PM
PLAY FORTUNA is not a new site but they took a long time to come to the bitcointalk forum. I've played there before, the site is ok and legit, there are no restrictions for withdrawing your winnings. I have just seen some people are arguing about the daily withdrawal limit, for the newly registered account daily withdraw limit is 3000 EUR, I don't think it is a matter of concern, Daily 3K EUR is ok for newcomers. Yes, it requires KYC, so those who have issues providing KYC data should avoid this platform.
By the way, "PLAY FORTUNA" welcome to the forum, hope you will review every single post here and will give them proper assist.

Active engagement with the community is really good to build reputation in the forum. Though they are already established casino outside this forum, but if they come here for the hope of gaining more players, they should check each concern/issues and address accordingly. In this manner, players will start to trust that whenever they have issues, they can easily get in touch with their rep here and resolve things in prompt manner.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cuba 🇨🇺 regulates the use of cryptocurrencies for commercial operations on: August 28, 2021, 11:49:48 PM
While the adoption of cryptocurrency for commercial transaction is great, the government trying to monitor these transaction isn't such a greats idea.
Besides, most crypto currencies are decentralized. It either the commercial operators are directly monitored or there's another plan in place , probably not know to us yet.
Either ways, it'll be made clear soon.

If their citizen are already using crypto, then, this move is just a way how to regulate and of course, possibly tax crypto transactions. Because if they will not regulate the use, how can the government get tax from crypto-related businesses? So in a way, it is also their advantage why they are doing this move. Though the government can't get the full picture of those crypto transactions, at least get something from these transactions. Better than nothing, right?
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 28, 2021, 09:55:40 PM
What matters to him is he can sell the fight and Casimero's style is very effective because he was noticed by Inoue and the champion wanted to schedule a fight because he got insulted with Casimero's trash talk. Arum could make more money with the match of Casimero vs his cash cow (Inoue), but fighting a prime Casimero could potentially end result to Inoue's first loss.
It is true that his style is very effective and the both fighters that he's mentioning are also being triggered.

I think that this fight is more probable than the other with Donaire's talk of rematch to Inoue.

I think this whole thing boils down to who got the connection, which means whose promoter Bob Arum would entertain. Richard Schaefer who is the promoter of Donaire and Sean Gibbons, the promoter of Casimero, these two gentlemen should seriously talk to Bob Arum about getting the fight done.

Casimero's trash-talking on social media is half of the battle and he is successful with that as he got the attention of the boxing community through its negative that doesn't matter, what's important is they should have the fight done.

I can agree that the fight will happen if their respective promoters seriously sit down and talk. We all know that most fights don't happen because the boxer's promoter don't agree with the other's promoter. If it is up to the boxers themselves, they want it the soonest, but there are other promoter's consideration here. And regarding trash talk, I believe that's Casimero's style but without the real media, he is somewhat good person, he has even good camaraderie with Donaire's father -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSsU9KY2fIw.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: August 27, 2021, 11:47:59 PM
Good job Google.
Many fake applications are still there, impersonating the official one.
There are fake mobile wallets, fake crypto mining, and also sometimes fake exchanges.
Be careful.
I really appreciate the step done by Google. And I do agree that we must continue reporting the fake ones and scammers to google so they can easily ban and take down such applications.

I hope this initiative will continue because not only 8 crypto apps are fake on their platform but there's a lot more. Not only crypto-related apps but many "money-making" apps as well luring gullible people to try for the promise of earning money but ended up wasting your time for nothing. They will find out that they are now home of a lot of fake apps needed to be removed immediately in the market.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling control on: August 27, 2021, 05:56:04 AM
...most especially to a newbie.

Newbie or not, the emotions of winning and loosing in a bet are two states that every gambler faces.

Even before a newbie starts to gamble, he is aware that there is a bitter side to it which is loosing and the winning possibility for him is not sure so his emotions are already prepared to accept any outcome. The maturity in gambling is how quickly we come to terms with whatever the outcome from a gamble and this is what a newbie struggles with because winning and loosing are both very overwhelming emotions that he or she has not experienced before.

If you are not yet deep in gambling, it is easier to control your gambling habits. You should always set your limits even before accessing the site, so you know how far you can go and how much you can only spend in that sitting. Without plans on how much you can spend, you may end up spending more than what you think you can, maybe even use your money for food, who knows? So newbie or not, you should know your limits upon getting into this addictive industry.
