I find it rather amusing you keep asking me questions you should be asking yourself. Also you already conceded that Democracy is mob rule. I am not sure why now suddenly you are pretending the minority has any say in Democracy regardless if it is "direct", "liquid", or "blue neon with sprinkles" or any other horse shit rebranding terms people come up with to repackage the same systems of government to make them appear to be new.

I'm just asking what's your point... You've made 3 pages of emptiness and we still don't know what's your problem...

Is your problem that in democracy, the minority has only the rights majority give them? That's your point?

It's a simple question no? I feel like I'm talking with an autistic child. What do you want to say?

[puts point in 40 point uppercase red letters, still keeps asking what my point is]
5002  Other / Politics & Society / Re: On the importance for nazis, commies and all extremists to stop fighting on: April 02, 2019, 04:00:39 PM
There is no logical or logistical difference between your two arguments, only semantics.

AHAHAHAHAHAH oh man you're so much in bad faith xD

Nooooooooo there is no difference between a situation where they get 800k$ and a situation where they have nothing.

You're simply denying reality. Let's end this. If you can't admit that taxing 20% of the inheritance value is DIFFERENT from taking the whole inheritance there is nothing to debate.

Nice straw man. I never claimed those two things were the same. It is however a fact that the inheritance tax strips following generations of inheritance, no matter how full or how partial. Still waiting for you to argue against any of the other 10 planks...
5003  Economy / Collectibles / [ALL SOLD] Extremely Rare NORFED's + more on: April 02, 2019, 02:49:46 PM
I am offering for sale some items which I will be continuing to list over the next few days or so. The prize of the lot I wanted to get up first though. PM me to make an agreement or if you have any questions. All pieces are BU uncirculated. There appears to be scratches on many of the pictures but this is just the airtites. Specific conditions will be noted. I will accept BTC or LTC payment upfront. Please check out my trust ratings and 8 years of trade history here. Thanks for looking!

If you aren't aware NORFED stood for "The North American Organization to Repeal the FEDeral Reserve." This was an organization that set up local barter trade systems in several localities across the US and internationally based on precious metals, and paper notes backed by PMs. They were raided multiple times by the feds, and their management railroaded and jailed. This was all for daring to set up a system OUTSIDE of The Federal Reserve system of fiat dollars. In the aftermath there was lots of suggestion that these rounds and notes might become restricted legally or confiscated so many were destroyed for melt value or went underground. All of this has resulted in a very niche but fanatical collector base. This company later became "Liberty Dollar" and they did lots of dealings with "The Liberty Reserve" which many of you may know from the early days of Bitcoin. So these pieces are a very interesting segue from the old systems attempting to escape banker control to the new ones based on the blockchain. Either way these pieces are not just collectables but a genuine piece of American history.

NORFED 1/20th Ounce Gold Round:
[SOLD]
This piece is so rare I have literally had people beg me for it. I believe this is the smallest piece they made, and one of the smallest rounds I have ever seen. Circulation numbers are estimated to be approximately 200 total, making this the rarest of all of their gold issued rounds. There are so few it is hard to even find pictures of them let alone see them for sale. This one is BU uncirculated and in excellent condition, the visible marks are on the airtite.

NORFED Euro 1oz Silver:
This piece is also very rare. There were 100 made, most of which went overseas to Europe. They don't often pop up for sale, and because it is numbered this is literally a one of a kind piece. The hallmark indicates it was hand stamped by the founder Bernard von NotHaus himself. This is one of the most rare NORFED rounds available. It is in BU condition with some lite toning around the edge. Scratches are on the airtite not the round.

NORFED 2008 Hallmarked & Numbered Dala 1oz Silver:

Any of the Dala types are very desirable, and this one in particular is quite rare. Being one out of only 100 serialized rounds minted, and the ONLY Dala issued by NORFED for 2008, this one of the most rare Dalas you will run in to (if you can find any for sale at all). You aren't going to find one of these elsewhere. This is one of those rounds that collectors grab and never let go. It is in BU condition with some lite toning around the edge. Scratches are on the airtite not the round.

https://thehawaiiananumismatist.com/2015/01/18/2008-kamehameha-hawaii-dala-50-base/

NORFED / Bud's Guns 2009 Hallmarked & Numbered 2nd Amendment round:

These rounds were produced by Bud's Guns in coordination with NORFED/Liberty Dollar. Only 100 of these numbered pieces were issued, and this was the first year these were issued. This piece is numbered and hallmarked, and comes in a beautiful display case. It is in BU condition with some lite toning around the edge. Scratches are on the airtite not the round.

NORFED Florida 2006 SMI  "Florida Bash" Hallmarked 1oz silver:
This piece is a 2006 Florida SMI, but it it bears not only the hallmark from the "Florida Bash" event, but BVNH's hallmark indicating he personally marked this piece. The hallmarked SMI pieces are considerably more rare and desirable than the standard issue SMI. It is in BU condition. Scratches are on the airtite not the round.

NORFED Virginia 2006 SMI Hallmarked 1oz silver:

This piece is a standard 2006 Virginia SMI, but it it bears not only the Virginia state hallmark, but BVNH's hallmark indicating he personally marked this piece. The hallmarked SMI pieces are considerably more rare and desirable than the standard issue SMI. It is in BU condition. There are some marks on the torch as are common from the tube stacking, but otherwise the scratches are on the airtite not the round.

NORFED 2003 $5 face 5oz silver:
This is the more rare of the 5oz pieces. The $100 face is more commonly found. BU condition in airtite.

NORFED 2007 Chambersburg $20 face 1oz silver:
This has a mintage of 1000. It is one of the more in demand custom pieces that collectors like to grab to complete their sets and don't often let go. BU condition in airtite.

NORFED 2006 Texas SMI 2007 double date hallmarked $20 face 1oz silver:
When it was minted they used the wrong die, as a result it has a double date, 2006 (the real date of issue) and 2007 on the other side. This double date error has a very low mintage of 500, and this piece is hallmarked putting its available numbers even more exceptionally low. BU condition in airtite.

NORFED 2008 Peace/Stop The War $10 face 1/2 oz silver:

This piece is exceptionally rare because the day after it arrived from the mint, Liberty Dollar was raided. Some people think this piece was responsible for getting Liberty Dollar raided because it was critical of the then recent launching of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, thus it is a crucial piece of Liberty Dollar, and American history, and a very popular piece among collectors. BU condition in airtite.

NORFED 2007 Michigan Gillie's $20 face 1oz silver:
This piece is issued by one of the more beloved RCO's Dave Gillie out of Mount Morris Michigan, owner of Gillie's Coney Island. It is one of the handful of custom pieces with a limited mintage of 1000. This is another hard to find piece collectors are quick to snatch up to complete their collections. BU condition in airtite.

NORFED 2007 California SMI $20 face 1oz silver:
This is one of the special custom issues people often snatch up to complete their SMI collections. As it is a popular piece on its own due to the unique artwork, they are harder to come by than the standard SMI pieces. BU condition in airtite.

NORFED 2008 Ron Paul "Vote For Truth" $20 face 1oz silver:
This piece commemorates Ron Paul's run for president. As one of the post popular libertarian leaning candidates with a strong record of hard money policies and fiscal responsibilities along with an anti-war platform, he was one of the earliest iterations of the now dominant populist polices paving the way for people like Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump by showing such a platform has wide spread support. BU condition in airtite.

5004  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jussie Smollett now ‘classified as a suspect’ for filing false police report. on: April 02, 2019, 02:07:06 PM
Frankly I haven't seen a modicum of evidence proving Trump is racist, and any argument to the effect always seems to include a rather extreme interpretation, disgruntled fired employees, or "anonymous sources".

Well to some people every white person is racist. Or orange in this case. Orange man bad. Whilst he's hardly a white supremacist and the media and left calling or comparing him to a nazi or the KKK is totally unfair, I would consider some of the things he's said on race or people as controversial and uneducated. I just googled "is donald trump a racist' and this came up --

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_views_of_Donald_Trump

As I said in another thread, if he is a racist it's probably more like him being somebody's casually racist grandad and not somebody who would join the KKK if it was socially acceptable.

Also, he is pressing The Smolleting because it is what people want (just not the people who don't like him).

I think you're giving too much credit to Trump. It may be what people want and I think it should be investigated, but he can be very petty and childish and this is the sort of thing he would take personally. I'm sure if it was anyone else who had previously mocked or attacked him that had committed a major or minor crime he'd do everything within his power to one-up them also.

Regarding the CCTV footage who knows, I don't expect him to make any sense at this point. He has recently came out proclaiming his innocence once again, and saying that "the perpetrators" of this incident may have been wearing "white face". This whole event is so absurd on its face it would be rejected in any movie script as too unbelievable. I am hearing more and more discussion now as well that he may have been let go because of Obama's direct involvement as well.

Wasn't that one of his lawyers who said that. I don't think it was said seriously but more of throwing out a possible reason why he was "confused" -- though it's obviously laughable either way.

Wikipedia... If you actually take the time to dig into those events you will find they are equally as baseless and speculative based only on the usual blood and shit covered narrative circus that is the media.

You don't get it. Trump supporters are in real physical danger because of events like this, and they have been happening since 2016 and before. People have had enough. Furthermore if he DOESN'T do something about it is only a matter of time before the right becomes decidedly less restrained in the face of these constant violent attacks based on this media circus. I am giving him the credit he deserves because he sees where the bleeding is coming from and he is putting pressure on the wound.

Contrary to that statement which was clearly logical and facts based without any virtue signaling or moralization.

[says something refractory and pretends it was an original thought based on logic]

That's your new thing, putting bullshit between brackets after giving a statement based on nothing like "Practically every leftist policy has some kind of moralizing, virtue signaling, or victim culture. They believe the ends justify the means, and the means usually means being full of shit." which is EXACTLY the same as if I would say "Practically every rightist policy has some kind of racist, sexist, or hate culture. They believe the ends justify the means, and the means usually means being full of shit."

Whaou. So much logic. Very intelligent. Much debate.

And I don't think this word means what you think it means dude...

Refractory: Stubborn or unmanageable.
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/refractory

Yep, you aren't worth any more energy than that. It is exactly how much thought you put into your reply. Do you have any ideas of your own or do you just wait for me to have one so you can repeat it back to me? Regarding the definition of the word...

REFRACTORY
"2. Resistant to a process or stimulus."

This is you resistant to the process of logic under the stimulus of factually observable empirical evidence.

BONUS WORDS:

REFRACT

"1a : to subject (something, such as a ray of light) to refraction
b : to alter or distort as if by refraction "

REFRACTION

"1: deflection from a straight path undergone by a light ray or energy wave in passing obliquely from one medium (such as air) into another (such as glass) in which its velocity is different
2 : the change in the apparent position of a celestial body due to bending of the light rays emanating from it as they pass through the atmosphere also : the correction to be applied to the apparent position of a body because of this bending
3 : the action of distorting an image by viewing through a medium also : an instance of this"

Keep running fat man.
5006  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Shipping on the Collectibles on: April 02, 2019, 01:28:54 PM
Hi All,

It has been bugging me and wanted to ask this question from everyone, recently I have made some purchases here from the international sellers, so far everything has been smooth and have received all of my packages as expected. But I do have a question, with some recent high valued items shipped from other countries to here in US, there is no tracking, or even if there is tracking it can't be tracked via USPS, just incase the merchandise doesn't get delivered or lost for some reason, who is responsible for it? I know it's not the buyers or sellers issue but this is something I want to ask as in who will be responsible for it. Specially for unique items like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092438.0, Just incase if the shipment was lost, the set can no longer be made. is it just me or is it other's feel the same way specially for a coin like this, the proper tracking or insurance should be added to ensure, it's covered for re-minting if needed.

Thanks in advance for all your input.

This is exactly why I tend to avoid international trades. If it is worth doing I make it clear that once the item leaves the country I have fulfilled my obligations so that the buyer understands once it leaves the country I have no way to track or control the item. Most of these issues can be solved with a little communication beforehand.

If anyone can point to a thinker of the left that could match Shapiro, let's have it.

Can't give you English example.
The fact that you don't know one though can mean only one of two things:
-For a strange reason there are no English left thinker
-You criticize a lot the left without having taken the time to study the ideas

I'll go with the one one with the highest probability.

The left has no one who could manage to debate Ben Shapiro because the left puts emotion above or equal to logic. Practically every leftist policy has some kind of moralizing, virtue signaling, or victim culture. They believe the ends justify the means, and the means usually means being full of shit.

I do think people who make false claims should receive some sort of punishment.  You can't just go around claiming false rapes and false attacks and expect nothing to happen.

I think the overwhelming majority of people would agree with you here. Though there are obvious cases where money and power can get you off the hook, but this applies to every law. You can even get away with murder if you have enough money and your defense attorneys are good enough. I think the likelihood or some sort of deal being done that involved money or influence extended will be very high here.

Many people claim that Trump is a racist and there is actually good reason to suspect he is but they are just trying to divide the population to make them weaker.

I think that's what he was playing on trying to tie it to Trump in this way. It's going to backfire though if Trump doesn't let this go and does everything in his power to try get him back.

They apparently planned to stage the event in front of a CCTV camera, but it turns out it was facing the other way.

Wouldn't it be obvious in video footage they were black? Or were they covered head to toe?

Frankly I haven't seen a modicum of evidence proving Trump is racist, and any argument to the effect always seems to include a rather extreme interpretation, disgruntled fired employees, or "anonymous sources".

Also, he is pressing The Smolleting because it is what people want (just not the people who don't like him). Think about this for a moment. All they are doing is trying to find a way to not only create further division by staging this act, they are trying to wind up moonbats with Trump Derangement Syndrome to feel justified in attacking his supporters violently. Furthermore this violence has been largely in one direction and conservatives have been EXTREMELY restrained when dealing with violence so far, so it makes it that much harder to muddy the waters of who started it etc. This staged event also serves the purpose of creating false equivalency to make it appear as if both sides of this conflict are equally responsible for violence.

Considering Chicago is his home base that is not entirely unbelievable. It was interesting hearing Rahm Emmanuel the mayor of Chicago recently try to blame Trump for this event after he called the dropped charges on Smollet "a whitewash of justice.". I think his overlords voiced their displeasure and he was forced to walk back his statements some. This town has had at least 4 unbroken generations of corruption to its core though, so in the end none of this is that surprising.
5012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Zealand ChristChurch mass shootings >:( >:( on: April 01, 2019, 07:54:03 AM
I'm just not on board with the idea that gun control = government tyranny and loss of liberty. The U.S. military could crush any militia no matter how well armed. I think Waco and the handful of other militia-led incidents in the past 30 years pretty much proved this.

Waco was a mass execution, and the charges which brought them there to begin with were based on fraud. Of course I don't expect you to know any of this being the casual tourist to these topics that you are. Even this is a perfect example of what results when the corrupt forces make the choice of murder over backing down, and the world witnessed this holocaust, took note, and made preparations for further tyranny. Again, this is just addressing the SINGLE ISSUE of government tyranny, not even touching on the right to self defense, national defense, criminal deterrence, etc.

Did the Koreshians win or lose the fight?

The idea that Americans having guns will prevent government tyranny is false. Maybe it was true a couple centuries ago. Its certainly not true today.

Irrelevant. The government was forced to expose itself as murderous criminal tyrants allowing others to prepare for more action of the same. In the other cases they DID win, and once again you are a simple creature who doesn't understand deterrent effect. The government is made of people. People will think twice about an action if they think they may get shot in the process. It is a really simple equation.
5013  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about Ross Ulbricht, the SilkRoad and the drugwars in general? on: March 31, 2019, 10:25:32 PM
Also there is some question of exactly when control of SR was handed over, and if others still maintained access leaving reasonable doubt as to Ulbricht's personal involvement.
Ulbricht's lawyers brought this up in opening statements, and in pre-trial motions (? - IIRC), but didn't provide any evidence to back this up, nor did anyone testify to this effect. I don't particularly believe ownership of SR was ever transferred based on the fact that the SR "cold wallet" (was not *really* cold) was found on his laptop when he was arrested that contained the private keys to addresses used in 2012. There is also the fact that, to my knowledge, SR users were never told to start using new deposit addresses, which could indicate new ownership of the site (among other things).

You are correct that the agents working out of one of the FBI field offices, the Maryland office I believe were corrupt and has stolen from Ulbricht via the moderator account of the moderator of SR that was arrested.

I am having trouble finding it now, however I remember reading an excerpt from Ulbricht's diary acknowledging that he was risking a life sentence by doing the prep work to get SR launched (by growing the mushrooms in a cabin). A life sentence for that would probably be unrealistic.

I think we can agree to disagree on who is to blame on the harmful effects of drug use. However the current laws make both possession and distribution/selling illicit drugs illegal. If you believe the laws on the books are wrong or bad, you should try to get politicians elected who will vote to change the laws, or try to get current politicians to change the laws. I don't think it is okay to 'look the other way' just because you believe a law is bad.

Laws are laws, and if the law was applied in an unbiased way he never would have got so much time. He was railroaded by anyone's definition to make an example of him.
5014  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: March 31, 2019, 10:22:39 PM
Just saw this on FortuneJack today:

It looks like FJ (or their odds maker) is pretty confident whoever gets the Democrat nomination will beat Trump, giving him only a ~39% chance of winning.

Politico published a piece last week saying that, based on economic models, Trump would win in a landslide if the election was held today, and that Trump would win by a fairly large margin in 2020 if economic growth becomes more mediocre than what it is today.

One huge topic Democrats seem to have shot themselves in the foot over is the "post birth abortion" laws they have been pushing. Unfortunately for them Mexicans are soon to be the majority in the USA (if they aren't already), and they are statistically VERY Catholic. These laws have jumped the shark, and as a result there are a tidal wave of Hispanics jumping the Democrat ship. Oopsey.

https://medium.com/elixxir/why-mark-zuckerberg-wants-no-privacy-why-he-wrote-his-letter-and-why-it-wont-help-him-c020e434ce36

According to a recent open letter on privacy, Mark Zuckerberg wants us to believehe can combine WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram platforms with “end-to-end” encryption to create the ultimate privacy-protecting platform.

thoughts? what does this mean for society?

I think it is very risky, but taking into account that it is Mark Zuckerberg it will be very easy for him to do so, he has the best programmers in the world, he has the money to carry it out, I think he can achieve it, in fact, he has always been a pioneer in terms of social networks.

In addition, everything that represents progress in my case I support, because everything must be routed there, in innovation and be more advanced. Besides, as he is, I imagine that he will supervise each code himself.
So then there would be no privacy with his "end-to-end" encryption, for which the promise was privacy.

And Mark Zuckerberg's promises are worth something are they?

Great argument. The only problem is I provided lots of sources and plenty of logical arguments, none of which you bothered to even attempt to refute, instead opting to just call it "bullshit" and creating a false equivalency. I didn't say you were scared, I suggested that the same dismissive logic you applied to me is also equally able to be applied to you, that of fear mongering. I also never told you to "shut up and deal with you doing whatever". Also stripping you? What?

It is a FACT that "antivaxxers" are in the minority, in the literal sense they are small in numbers. I am very sorry of you can't manage to rub a couple brain cells together to come up with a coherent argument against the argument I presented instead once again opting for arrogant dismissal. What about illegal immigrants? Clearly they don't give a shit about our community if they are bringing disease in to the country and violating our laws. Why is it you are so fast to ignore them but focus on "antivaxxers" even though the numbers show they are a much larger source of disease outbreaks?

See you just want your poorly thought out arguments to only work for you while you totally dismiss solid logical arguments with sources I present as bullshit instead of even attempting to directly refute them. You seem hyper focused on the vaccine denial aspect of this when I in fact never once attempted to argue against vaccination, only compulsory vaccination. You aren't even addressing my premise, you are just creating a premise, attributing it to me, then expecting me to defend it as you repeatedly dismiss my actual premise. If you are as smart as you think you are why is it you can't engage me in an intellectually honest debate?

No, the problem is we are having a clash of ideologies, not a debate. Your own words are religion to you, and mine are the same to me. I'm not interested in your points about immigration, I brought that up a while ago so you wouldn't waste your time. I'd have to swim through countless hours of research to justify whether your sources are valid or not, what they actually mean, and whether it is worth communicating my thoughts on them. I'd be happy to do that if this was a thread about border security and influx of disease, but as I stated before, I know nothing about any of that. If that was the topic of the thread, I wouldn't have replied, as I have nothing to add to that conversation. I'm not dismissing your claim that immigrant carriers of diseases are of greater number than domestic unvaccinated citizens, because I don't know otherwise. You are not a minority group because of an individual belief on whether or not you should be vaccinated. Citing the 6th grade statistics definition of minority versus the anthropology definition of minority is dishonest.

I cannot engage you in a debate because I cannot understand your point of view. I really don't mean this as a personal attack, but to me, it sounds like you live in a self entitled fairy land, where you can do absolutely anything you want with no regard for others. I understand this is probably not the case, but from my perspective thats what your words mean. My absolute main point throughout the entire discussion which you keep trying to drag away from "County in New York bans unvaccinated from public spaces" to, "We aren't as bad as this other group!" is that you cannot force people to accept your life choices. You make a choice, other people have a reaction, you don't get to scream outrage because other people aren't as understanding of what you consider a good idea. If your point is that the threat is being overblown, sure you might be right! That doesn't change anything, your rights are not being taken from you until someone is holding you down and injecting you. People are just saying I don't want to live with you.

Everything you describe as false equivalencies and incoherent arguments makes absolute perfect sense to me, I'd assume in the same way your argument makes perfect sense to you, and absolutely no sense to me. You don't debate people who have different ideologies as you, because they aren't formed from misunderstanding but perception.
I'm not trying to take some philosophical high ground, I'm just stating that we are both wasting our time.

I do not think that people are physically able to take responsibility for the actions of their choice to not be vaccinated. That is why it is a problem at the social level rather than just a matter of individual responsibility. I have zero problem with unvaccinated people living the way they want, but just don't be surprised if your only neighbors are also unvaccinated neighbors, and when the question is asking 1,000 people to move elsewhere or asking 1, its not really a hard to answer. Set your own house on fire if you'd like, but the situation is different if you live in an apartment complex.

No, I am having a debate, you are having a clash of ideologies. You keep talking to me as if I am advocating not vaccinating when I have done NOTHING OF THE SORT. This is a strawman which you pull out and beat to death with every reply. I am advocating maintaining human rights and against COMPULSORY vaccination. Your argument is this action of stripping people of freedom of movement is justified because the risk of infection. I bring up the logical and sourced argument that the uncontrolled immigration of tens of thousands from impoverished nations with poor sanitation and healthcare is ACTUALLY the cause of this danger you insist is a result of a tiny number of people who refuse to vaccinate.

I find it very ironic you are advocating removing freedom of movement for American citizens while totally ignoring the role of movement of thousands of infected across our borders as if it is inconsequential in comparison. You are suffering from cognitive dissonance. I don't have to be against vaccinations to want to maintain constitutional rights, because the removal of rights of one group legally speaking is precedent for the removal of rights for ALL OF US. This is what you repeatedly insist on ignoring instead pretending my only arguments are false equivalencies as you parrot my words in a polar opposite refractory manner even unable to form your own replies.

Again my position is that these outbreaks are really a result of the uncontrolled flood of immigration, and in order to keep that under wraps this whole "antivaxer" scapegoat was crafted as an extra added strategy for incrementally stripping constitutional rights and conditioning people to this reality as well as covering up the negative health impact of an uncontrolled border.

Taqiya is far more prevalent than might be imagined, and anyone dealing with Muslims must understand it, or he really can't deal with them.

Muslims have different standards of right and wrong when dealing with those in their own faith vs those who are not. This goes across the board, including business, outright lying such as taqiya, also sexual and romantic behavior.

IMHO it's more important and useful to raise awareness of these things than focus on the straw man argument posed here of "All / Some Muslims are Terrorsts."

I have no idea about this practice and I am surprised that there notion of right and wrong depend upon the faith of the other.
But , not all religion forgive lies if it is to save one's life?

Read between the lines and or find other sources. I used Wikipedia because it would be the most conservative description of taqiya, but the down side of that is there are plenty of extremist apologists on Wikipedia willing to make excuses for things like this. Historically it may have began as a life preserving measure, but it has morphed into much more. Many Muslims see it as their right/duty to deceive and dominate non-Muslims, which is why I mentioned the concept so people could do their own research, because undoubtedly if I posted a more realistic description accusations of racism would start flying (even though Muslim is not a race).
