541  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BetKing.io video contest on: December 31, 2015, 03:51:21 AM
already make escrow for your prize btw ?  Smiley
BetKing has BTC3,000+ invested (most of it here - used to be even 5k) and has been around for years (under name "PRC") with BTC281k wagered. If he is unable to pay this BTC2 prizepool, we have bigger problems than lost prizes Tongue (so escrow seems not needed Wink)

GL to all.
542  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. How I GOT SCAMMED. on: December 29, 2015, 06:17:03 PM
Actually that iflewtoday32 dude did the same (start trade, escrow with master-P, no reply anymore) with "cryptosun" on 21 dec. Master-P also said same reasons (PC crash etc.) but did refund his BTC1.

In addition this iflewtoday32 already has 2 legit-looking scam accusations from some months ago, so I left negative trust to him (not replying to those accusations and locking that thread seems enough to me.) Not fully sure if related to this Master-P scam, but he should at least reply to the previous 2 scam accusations and these 2 "no-reply" trades.

Okay yeh, I agree for investors that is fair, so that is indeed a good reason.

Actually I have even considered "hiding" BB/MP from my site since technically I should qualify it as "new site" :X But at this point I will probably merge the stats and perhaps add some kind of notice that MP has new owners.

BTW, do you guys have already a public cold address? Also I am personally wondering who is (or will be) holding the cold wallet?
544  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: December 25, 2015, 06:14:20 PM
Sorry been bit busy, but:

- crypto-games.net: I haven't added this yet, mostly because of that thread. I actually disagreed with OP in that thread but still I really found the way the developer responded pretty bad. I will add a provably fair verifier for it soon though (as requested by Lutpin in PM.)
- fastdice.com: atm I only add sites that have been around for awhile (like 6+ months) but I will definitely consider your site in the future.
- MoneyPot stats: they indeed got reset since the site was transferred to the new owner. I personally disagree with that reset, so I hope the new owners will merge the old stats or else I will probably do it myself for my site. Cold wallet address is removed, thanks for that tip, erwin. Not sure if they have a new cold address already.

Yes, I am planning to merge the stats on my site if MP isn't going to do it. I just don't want to spend time on it only to see them merging it after a few days Wink so that's why I was asking about it.

To me it just doesn't make sense to see BetterBets with only 21 BTC wagered even though they already had 30k+ wagered Tongue and same for other apps of course.

as you mentioned betterbets why do they have their name in a banner? could all apps have a banner of this size with their names?

Because they are the only site listed on my homepage. The homepage is a list of most popular dice sites that have been around for a decent while. In general this means a couple thousand wagered and ideally like ~100+ BTC wagered per week. There were some MP dice sites like InvestDice who had some nice wagered, but this was mostly from 1 player and not very consistent, so I wouldn't qualify it as "one of most popular dice sites". I am still considering "Dust Dice" and others but they have some real slow times too.

Besides that, your sites aren't dice sites, so wouldn't be very good for the homepage of a "dice sites" site Tongue

TBH that MP page is mostly meant for investors, so it's not really optimized for players.

Anyway, best of luck to new MP team. The transition seemed to be smooth to me and site is running fine with some decent wagered already. So that's a good start Smiley
547  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from the new 🌟🌟MoneyPot🌟🌟 staff on: December 25, 2015, 04:47:24 PM
Total stats is just a simple number. I cannot imagine it can bring any problem for "keeping the books orderly". Just keep the old stats in mind for administrative purposes and obv summing up all bets will lack the old stats (but isn't a problem if you keep it in mind.)

The advantage of merging the old stats is that it shows the MP apps are popular already. I assume Ryan could give the total app stats since it's not privacy sensitive and it's even still on: https://mp.bustabit.com/full-stats.json

But up to you guys of course Tongue
548  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from the new MoneyPot staff on: December 25, 2015, 03:04:23 PM
qustion for @NLNico

it is a question and our opinion but not an attack (just for info) Smiley
I see the list starts new because Betterbets and Jackpotracer are now last in the list. in case the list starts new (IMO thats not a fair way for all apps in the list) why not leave out all old stats and start new as it develops?

thanks

My site is automated and it gets only the apps with like more than 10 btc wagered. What happened is that BB, DD and your site got this criteria with the new stats, but the other sites not so they still showed the old stats. Obviously I didn't expected the stats to be reset when I created the script. I have deactivated all stats now and only 3 sites are (automatically) activated again with the new stats: https://dicesites.com/moneypot

Overall I would actually expect that the total stats would be still there. I don't really see why the stats have been reset? It doesn't contain privacy-sensitive data and it's better for both MP and their apps. So I hope MP could still merge the old stats or something in next few days. Otherwise I will probably merge it myself (on my site) even though that will generate different stats on my site and MP site.

Well on https://www.pevpot.com you can scroll to "past draws" and click on latest: https://www.pevpot.com/draws/6 it's pretty clear who won on that page?

But I agree it should be a bit more highlighted on homepage. Maybe a block under current draw on homepage with "Last draw #6, Prize: 15.66BTC, Winner: 61edb7.. of 10.1009722 BTC, Details". If the draw just ended it should say something like "We are calculating the result, this takes a few hours.. come back later to see if you won!".
550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: December 18, 2015, 12:56:01 PM
Unofficial result for #6: 25238990480fd040ff51f793de5f998d4c3e062f09feaa0f6cf6bab34e44edfc

edit: mm so the "Verify" script says 1,553,035,541 tickets, but the Draw page says 1,553,025,541. This gives 2 different winners (by verify script 5 BTC bettor, by draw page 10 BTC bettor):

>>> print 0x25238990480fd040ff51f793de5f998d4c3e062f09feaa0f6cf6bab34e44edfc % 1553035541
1100532042

>>> print 0x25238990480fd040ff51f793de5f998d4c3e062f09feaa0f6cf6bab34e44edfc % 1553025541
260547462

Which one is correct?

edit: previous draws also seem to add 10k tickets at verify script? So I am guessing the draw page is correct.
551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: December 18, 2015, 08:23:47 AM
We had to wait till block #389006 (always 6th block after draw finished.) The hash of that block is used in the calculation: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/block/0000000000000000006d52ca33c82ed5320d21be7d8237020fcd037235403cd2

I am personally calculating the results myself and obviously Ryan will also calculate it to determine the winner. This calculation can take a few hours. So after a few hours we will have the result Smiley If you want to verify the result, you can also run the calculation yourself (but takes time and you should have some technical knowledge.)
552  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: December 18, 2015, 07:15:01 AM
Lol 5 blocks in last 5 minutes. I guess miners want to speed up the PevPot results xD 3 blocks left (and 6 after that for hash.)

edit: wow, 3 in 2 minutes. Didn't even have time to send sponsor money lol.

Best time to bet is right now!
553  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: December 12, 2015, 01:37:57 PM
AFAIK the stretched hash is

4a757418955d988f71eae90945e042827bc18faf048e278c7a08ae163e67ca5b

which makes the whale the winner. But let's wait for Ryan to confirm Smiley

Yeh, I already made withdrawal now. Hot wallet was just empty and yesterday admin refilled indeed. I made my WD quickly after that. So no problems. Still I think that process can be improved (at least make a better error message = easy, and maybe pending withdrawals = bit more time.)
555  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: December 12, 2015, 10:07:43 AM
New draw/round just started. Best odds to bet is right now.
556  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ 1+Year Old on: December 11, 2015, 04:42:16 AM
I have been trying to withdraw for a week now (to be fair only 3 times on 3 different days) - but I always get this error: "Something went wrong, please try again or contact us directly.". I tried smaller amount and that worked. So:

1) Can you change that error to "Hot wallet is empty blabla".. so people know what's going on?
2) Maybe you can make the withdrawal to "pending"? Now I have to get "lucky" to make the withdrawal when the hot wallet is sufficient. I prefer it's in "pending" and you just process it as soon as you can (because now I am trying it for a week and still no "luck".)

558  Other / Meta / Re: HYIP SCAMS - We need to do something on: December 08, 2015, 12:47:32 PM
Yeh, some of the "slightly less obvious" cloudmining ones are a bit more time consuming.

Many of us did gave negative trust to CloudThink when they were running their signature campaign. But personally I only did that after having enough good arguments to say why it's fake/ponzi/etc. Even though it was obvious from the start (for me personally), I still felt I needed proper arguments to justify negative trust (which was only few days after they started though.) Overall, researching/collecting arguments/discussing with the site owner - takes time and unfortunately I personally don't have the time to do that for that 2 cloudmining sites Sad

Also not "all" cloudmining sites are scams, which is exactly the problem - needs proper arguments to justify negative trust. Giving money to cloudmining sites is always a bad idea though.
559  Other / Meta / Re: HYIP SCAMS - We need to do something on: December 08, 2015, 12:25:55 PM
Pretty much all sites in "Investor-based games" are scams, that's why I ignore that whole forum.

If those HYIPs post outside that forum (and/or have signature campaigns), then you should definitely create a topic in the "Scam accusation" forum, so we can give the site owner negative trust if needed.

New draw -just- started, so yeh.. starts at 0 Wink
