5561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STEEM will rise again on: March 24, 2020, 01:15:04 AM
Would exchanges list the new Hive tokens that the Steem community supports? Is the Steem community large enough to bring the pressure on exchanges?

I predict that the Hive community will go back to Steem if without support from exchanges because Hive might decline in popularity.

Also, this news.

HIVE blockchain Technologies Ltd., a publicly listed mining firm based in Vancouver, Canada, published a notice Monday saying it has sent a cease-and-desist from its legal representatives to Hive.io, saying the new blockchain is tapping into its investment in building "goodwill" in the industry.

5562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 24, 2020, 12:27:23 AM
You might not have understood the situation that has been occuring for a long time, I reckon hehehe.
Authorities looking for preventive action rushing any possible help to fight with this virus. Yeah its not a cure and its a prevention, I am well aware of the protocol prior to testing vaccines. Perhaps you should read if they werent tested it out or not yet.

He said the drug was found to be effective in clinical trials by two medical organizations in the country. He said the medicine worked for coronavirus-related symptoms including pneumonia and had no obvious side effects.

The director said the tests were conducted in the cities of Wuhan and Shenzhen and involved 240 patients and 80 patients respectively.

He said those who were given the medicine in Shenzhen turned negative for the virus after a median of four days after becoming positive, while it took a median of 11 days for those without the drug.

The trial also found that X-ray photos confirmed improvements in lung conditions in about 91 percent of the patients who were given the medicine. The number stood at 62 percent for those without the drug.

The director said the drug is highly safe and its effect is obvious, and formally recommend the use of the medicine as a way to tackle the virus.

A Chinese firm that has licensed the drug from its Japanese developers got government approval last month to mass-produce the medication.

Also, vaccination is not treatment. Vaccination is prevention by injecting a dormant virus into a healthy body.

A vaccination is a treatment which makes the body stronger against an infection.

The body fights infections using the immune system, which is made up of millions upon millions of cells including T cells and B cells. An important part of the adaptive immune system is that it is much stronger when fighting a disease that it has already fought against before. Vaccination involves showing the immune system something which looks very similar to a particular virus or bacteria, which helps the immune system be stronger when it is fighting against the real infection.

will need testing on the people of 3rd world countries before the companies that created them sell their new vaccine on 1st world countries hehehe.
Its you who said that but from my knowledge I dont think China included on the 3rd world countries. But indeed they  tested already it as the article quoted above explained. The only thing were waiting here is the approval of WHO for that drug, but worse comes to worse would you wait that long if its you who are on those patient situation until WHO approves it? Anyway we have different choice and opinion.

I would argue that we have not yet seen the side effects. They might begin appearing within months or longer. In any case, I will post a news update when people begin complaining.

Also, yes, the vaccine is a treatment to make the body immune from certain diseases, however, it is not a treatment if someone already is suffering from the disease.

I might be wrong because the authorities decided to do a field testing on Chinese patients, however, I am not wrong that pharmaceutical companies have in the past tested experimental drugs and vaccines on 3rd world countries before released as safe on 1st world countries.

@7788bitcoin. The reason for this is Ramadan is on April 23. Khabib is muslim. After that date he will not eat tiramisu and no water for 1 month.

The condition of his body after the fast might require 2 months for recovery and more months to train for fighting.
5564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 23, 2020, 04:11:03 AM
However, do you want the untested vaccine experimented first on your family or community as the test guinea pigs? I reckon Japan should test their new vaccine on their own citizens before declaring them safe from damaging side effects.
Imagine if your family is on a stage where the sickness due to covid is dangerous already and he/she are running out of time? As a family member that have a mind to only save your love ones, wouldnt you agree? If some authority and sector says its already proven effective. Not that its only dangerous but in a matter of life and death, the best move is to do anything to make them safe by trying the best thing we can do. I get your point but it will depend on the situation. If its you. I know you cant tell also if the one on the blink of death is your family.

You might not have understood the situation that has been occuring for a long time, I reckon hehehe.

Also, vaccination is not treatment. Vaccination is prevention by injecting a dormant virus into a healthy body. However, the coronavirus is a new strain. The release of this dormant new virus strain to inject on healthy human bodies will need testing on the people of 3rd world countries before the companies that created them sell their new vaccine on 1st world countries hehehe.

Ripple Partner MoneyGram Turns to Amazon and Google to Power Faster Payments

“MoneyGram is integrating with the leader in cloud-based applications, AWS, to bring scale to the company’s transaction processing engine. Additionally, MoneyGram is using Google Cloud as its data and analytics engine to better understand customer behavior and deliver a more personalized experience.”

https://dailyhodl.com/2020/03/06/ripple-partner-moneygram-turns-to-amazon-and-google-to-power-faster-payments/

Is Ripple hiding what has occured? They pay financial institutions in XRP to use Ripplenet, however, I reckon all of them might never develop beyond the testing phase after dumping their XRP payments.

MONEYGRAM HAS MADE ‘MILLIONS’ SELLING RIPPLE’S XRP

This activity is proof positive that Ripple Labs seeks to use whatever means necessary to get financial institutions to use its service. It reportedly pays other partner institutions as well. In the case of MoneyGram, such payments are curious, as Ripple Labs already owns a sizable percentage of the company. The arrangement to use RippeNet expires in 2023.

Ripple’s strategy of bringing banking partners into its ecosystem is clearly working, yet the extent to which these institutions actually use RippleNet remains less clear. Few appear to have moved beyond the research phase. The fact that Ripple has had to pay them to actually use it underscores this fact.

@stompix. However, most of other cryptocoins have similar qualities as dogecoin to also have similar sets of usages. Are most of these other cryptocoins not shitcoins? What is a shitcoin? I reckon it might be that there is no shitcoin or everything is a shitcoin hehehe.

In any case, the safe haven killed @MustStopMurad's Adaptive Capital.

Crypto hedge fund Adaptive Capital is shutting down, The Block has learned.

In an investor letter reviewed by The Block, Adaptive said that it plans to return remaining capital to its Limited Partners following a steep drop in bitcoin's price during the March 12-13 trading session.

It might be years for a commercially good vaccine that has very minimum side effects. I reckon that the companies that create them would sell the first batches of commercial coronavirus vaccines on 3rd world countries and use their people as the test guinea pigs.
Side effect is the least thing scientist would be prioritized here but fastracking a vaccine should be the goal. There is a vaccine that tested already made by Japan and China recognized its effectivity. Japanese Made vaccines it also state that they got approval from the Government  to have mass production. I just hope the vaccine will be shared and spread around those big fatality countries soon.

However, do you want the untested vaccine experimented first on your family or community as the test guinea pigs? I reckon Japan should test their new vaccine on their own citizens before declaring them safe from damaging side effects.

5568  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-19] Bitcoin Rallies as Fiat Currencies Drop Against the U.S. Dollar on: March 22, 2020, 01:15:07 AM
To be honest, I'm very surprized by this big drop of British Pound and Australian dollar against USD:

What can be the reason for that? Do people think that the United Kingdom and Australia are going to "print" more money to fight the coronavirus impact on their economies than the America's central bank?

I reckon there is speculation that the American private sector and its supply chains are more equipped and ready to fight the negative economic effects of the coronavirus.

Also, their economy might be more productive in this fight. There will be no toilet paper shortage hehehe.
5569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 21, 2020, 04:05:09 AM
I reckon uncle Dana should cancel everything and organize all of the main events in 1 UFC event after the war versus the coronavirus is finished hehehe.
5570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: March 21, 2020, 03:31:55 AM
@dragonvslinux. The coronavirus said no hehehehe.

In any case, the bitcoin market situation might be very bad if we do not hear more bashings from Peter Schiff anymore. He might be pitying us hehehe.

Every country is running to hide and hold their value on the United States dollar. Why is this? It is an inflationary currency controlled by evil people that is not deserving to be considered safe money.

Are you telling everyone that the only thing that is making bitcoin the good coin is the price? Would bitcoin be a shitcoin for you if it is on $0.50 and bitcoincash the good coin if it is no.1 in coinmarketcap.com?
5573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: March 20, 2020, 04:53:56 AM
@bakasabo. Yes Vitalik and the developers can change the monetary policy with the support of the miners. Look at the changes they did before. They were done without big problems.

Also, I am not talking about the supply. Ethereum's supply is infinite. I am talking about the changes in coins rewarded to the miners per mined block.
5574  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-13] Despite Bitcoin Price Dips, Crypto Is a Safe Haven in the Middle Ea on: March 20, 2020, 04:09:43 AM
@stompix. It might be $6k today, however, it was on $20k 3 years ago and only a few days ago, it was dumped on $4k. Everyone is running where and holding what to be safe?

Heaven is a safe haven not because it is heaven. It is because of the guardian angels that made it safe.
5575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: March 20, 2020, 01:20:20 AM
@tyKiwanuka. There were articles that were saying that a Superbowl winning quarter back would be joining the Bears. I was shaking my head asking myself how many Superbowls, 6? Tom Brady went to the Bucaneers hehehe.
5576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas closes casinos and hotels in lieu of coronavirus on: March 20, 2020, 12:25:10 AM
well at least Las Vegas is now concern about Gamblers?i thought they are just concern for the profit they will get from players lol.

this has been done few days back because the spread is now very alarming and getting outside China .

many countries now are becoming the Most affected of this Virus.

so all Gamblers Please play online using your Cryptocurrency to help the market grow and also for you to keep safe.

You have the correct thought. The casinos no.1 concern is always profit similar to any other business. As a business, they should do everything to protect their employees and help everyone else by shutting down to help stop the spreading of the virus among its source of profit, the players hehehehe.

It is a simple business decision.

Nick Foles went to the Chicago Bears. Is he a good player? He won a Superbowl and a Superbowl MVP award from playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. However, why was he transferred to the Jaguars from the Eagles and then to the Bears from the Jaguars?
5578  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-13] Despite Bitcoin Price Dips, Crypto Is a Safe Haven in the Middle Ea on: March 19, 2020, 03:18:46 AM
It is the reason why it is safe haven. It has a military force protecting it, paid for by the citizens that use it, and using the currency to pay for the protection.

Where is everyone hiding when they are selling their stocks, bitcoin and other cryptocoins?
5579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: March 19, 2020, 02:24:40 AM
Imagine if ETH would at least rise to $5000 in the next 5 years, that would be awesome, we call that easy money for those who believe.

With that, we can retire anytime we want.

I just cant imagine why would ETH rise to $5000. It is has no max supply, so its amount infinitely. Something that is infinitely cant gain value by itself. Take for example gold or bitcoin. With each day it becomes more rare, hard to find or mine. That is why there is believe that its price will go up. Speaking about ETH - it has lots of competitors. Its technology is no longer unique and ETH is not a monopolist on the market. The only reason in can raise - correction in price because of Bitcoins price growth.

Please read more about ETH. There is no fixed cap on ETH true, but that's only a part of the story. Long term it is deflationary, just like BTC, but the mechanism that determines this is the amount that gets created over time becomes a smaller and smaller percentage of the whole until the natural loss of ETH counteracts the creation. This whole talking point about ETH being an unlimited tap of supply is way overblown and simply not true in a practical sense.

Ethereum is not deflationary. You should read more about Ethereum also. The monetary policy of Ethereum is centralized to the mood of the developers and Vitalik on any time period.

Grin is one of theymos' infinity coins for the cryptospace infinity wallet. He holds bitcoin, monero, grin. He needs 3 coins more to complete and bring the bullmarket back to us hehehe.
