561  Other / Meta / Re: erwin45 ( my account ) was hacked on: November 29, 2014, 06:36:48 PM
He did post malware, banned him after seeing that. Couldn't say if it was a hacker or not, but it was a different IP that posted it, though that isn't conclusive either way.
562  Other / Meta / Re: Does cloud mining need its own section under mining instead of services? on: November 29, 2014, 03:38:45 AM
Instead of Cloud Mining, maybe something a bit more general like Mining Services, so it could include hosting services and stuff like that.
563  Other / Meta / Re: BadBear Is An Easily Mistaken Member on: November 26, 2014, 04:51:37 AM
I'm not going to post the proof, that would only serve to show scammers how to avoid being caught, and proving I'm right or winning an argument isn't worth that, not by a long shot.
I don't leave negative feedback lightly, it isn't a mistake.

564  Other / Meta / Re: iam going to fuck up this forum....leaving it on: November 24, 2014, 06:45:13 AM

Right, that's why you made another account an hour after making this thread. You aren't fooling anyone.
565  Other / Meta / Re: Pleaae check this topic and its OP on: November 23, 2014, 09:29:18 AM
Nothing to do about the feedback, but I did merge his several threads, and removed all the annoying images and banner ads from his posts, and deleted a few that were just spam.

I wouldn't worry about that feedback, look at mine.
566  Other / Meta / Re: Why can't I delete my own topic where none posted in? on: November 22, 2014, 05:47:08 PM
SMF doesn't distinguish between deleting topics with no replies, or deleting topics with replies. It's either can delete own topics, or can't.

If it has no replies, report it, mods can deal with it. Though if it's a marketplace thread, it will likely be moved to archival instead. You can't move your own topics to archival though, side effect of topic creation being disallowed there.

This topic has been moved to Games and rounds.

Giveaways/promos/etc belong in Games and Rounds.
568  Other / Meta / Re: Is this normal? on: November 21, 2014, 07:13:42 AM
You don't even know what my post consisted of, so don't assume.

Decided to take a look, I can see why you don't want to post the actual posts.

569  Other / Meta / Re: Please advise on the rules to the forum on: November 20, 2014, 02:42:10 PM
Don't make threads just to post your referral link, we've all seen the sites a hundred times, it's just spam.
570  Other / New forum software / Re: Simple Image Upload on: November 20, 2014, 06:51:52 AM
You mean upload them directly to the forum? What's wrong with just uploading them to imgur?

Yes, I mean upload them directly to the forum... Imgur is a nice service but it's a waste of time go on that site and then return to Bitcointalk.

There are already plugins and extensions to automatically upload/transload pictures, both from the internet and screenshots.

571  Other / Meta / Re: Obstruction of An Imperial Agent on: November 20, 2014, 03:27:47 AM
You delete your bumps and repost them every 10-20 minutes, and have been for some time now.

Ban evasion isn't going to help you.

Have you willfully obstructed an imperial agent?

There's a Star Wars joke here somewhere, it's just not coming to me.

Edit: I am not the admin you're looking for \handwave.

573  Other / Meta / Re: Link Spam on: November 19, 2014, 02:35:47 PM
Yes, for example this thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=852646

The only text in your post besides the link, is literally from the link itself. Assume people aren't going to click the link (lot of malware and hacked accounts lately), make the thread interesting and not a complete waste of time. It's a forum for discussion, not an RSS feed.

Though an integrated RSS feed could be cool.
574  Other / Meta / Re: Link Spam on: November 19, 2014, 01:57:13 PM
Try not to post threads that are nothing more than a link to another website, and especially don't do it over and over. At least add some content to the post, it is a discussion forum after all.
575  Other / Meta / Re: Whats Difference between default trust and selecting users for trust? on: November 19, 2014, 12:27:04 PM
trust settings, what is this.

DefaultTrust list are moderated by theymos. It is an account [1] . But users can make custom trust list by going trust list [2] . If he like to trust the users who are trusted by the user he adds to his trust list, he can change the trust depth to 1. If he want to trust users who were trusted by the users in trust depth 1, he can change the trust depth to 2 and so on, currently, it can be up-to 4 levels. I hope you understand. Smiley

[2] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

   ~~MZ~~
tnx but i didnt understand:) its complicate. and if someone gives negative to my custom trust.do people see it? what appears at my trust now?

If you're asking if you can change your trust rating by changing who is on your trust list, the answer is no. If you change your trust list, that only changes what you see. What other people see depends on who they have on their trust list, and you can't change that.
576  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is scammer, watch out on: November 18, 2014, 05:48:21 PM

Please post proof of your bolded claim above.

If you have proof of this this should be grounds to likely be considered a scammer/liar in my eyes. But this is only true if you can 100% prove your claim.

If it was a PM on this forum, Theymos or another admin can confirm it or deny it.

To be clear at this time I am not claiming Charlie to be a scammer or not as I do not know all of the facts.

that website I gave you for tracking is useless,
so I went to the post office,
they confirmed it has left croatian customs

and it will not arrive in 3-5 working days, but 10-12,
said the same clerk that took the package ?!?!
she denies she said 3-5 days yesterday...

at least, its moving

are you already "selling" them ?
It might help to have reservations and fixed prices until the actual trades happen

Yes I found the tracking already

RB794077455HR

http://ips.posta.hr/IPSWeb_item_events.asp?itemid=RB794077455HR&Submit=Submit

Yes I already sold 20 out of 30 !

How many of each and what are the rest of the coins?

10x single with error @2.8
2 x single without error @1.4 ?
2 x 5btc @7
2 x 25 @ 27

I am sending to the same address, from the same postal office, to make it shorter, since now clerks know what and how to package

Ok cool

Thanks!

the package has a return to sender option included,
if it is not picked up in time,
it will be shipped back to me, lets avoid that

Hey,

Package is at the post office, Im going to pick it up on Monday.

Ive sold all the coins, except for the 25's, I also kept 2 error coins to get graded for you.

So far:

8   1 BTC Error 2011
2   1 BTC 2011
2   5 BTC error 2012

= 39.2 I owe you.

As soon as I pick up the package, I will send you this BTC Smiley

Charlie
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so far so good, I got those paid as well, but now starts the trouble, I asked for those 25-s to be paid their nominal value,
no risk for him to do it, so I suggested he pays me 50 btc before he sells them

Send me your BTC address, Ill send it over.

after that he goes nonresponsive, and into evasion mode,
starts going personal and making diversions...

so here we are

I guess theymos or some other admin can confirm those above are valid copy/pastes  from my inbox
