Don't complain if you aren't reporting them, we can't watch it 24/7. Luckily others did.

A mod should IMO also have some kind of good example function.
This Forum (and therefore Bitcoin) looks totally scammy to new people (that don't know yet what Bitcoin exactly is) if half of it's Users advertise for Gamblin and dodgy investments with signal color sigs.
That you take part in this disqualifies you IMO
Being bitpop is the part that disqualified him. Other than that he'd be fine.

Doesn't have much to do with being a newbie either, even established accounts have pulled the "my forum account got hacked" bs.
|
|

Just make the new account, nobody cares if you have more than one. Go nuts.

Yay, knew I'd break a milestone:
You have reported 1000 posts with 99% accuracy
Shame about accuracy dropping below 100%. I'm quite sure every thread I reported was relevant, so not sure why it wasn't.
Sorry, I hit bad report on one by accident, my bad .

A revolt, lol. Some of you guys are blowing this a tad out of proportion.

Little late there chief, there's already like 4 giveaway forums.

You were sending unsolicited pms, advertising your buying accounts. Won't be unbanned. This is not mentioned anywhere I can see on the forums rules and I was never warned about infractions made. It's called common sense guy, not being listed as a specific rule doesn't mean a thing. If you seriously have to be told to not spam random people with unsolicited advertisements via pms, then this probably isn't the forum for you.

For these kind of cases, would it be more efficient to use the "report to mod" function? Or maybe make a PM to you badbear directly? Or, would you prefer us to make a reply in this thread?
Either or, don't matter much.

Yeah, looks much better these days.

Well I moved it back here, you're right it doesn't belong in off topic.

Please someone make an altcointalk, and make yourself a board for each alt-coin lol.
This already exists: https://cryptocointalk.com/Enjoy with all it's ridiculousness. Oh my, devs can moderate their own child boards there. That's an...interesting decision.

What you think of Bitcoin is irrelevant. Fact of the matter is, it's a forum created for and dedicated to it. Get over it.

Doesn't matter if you're verified or not, all the paypal user has to do is claim their account was hacked and they'll get it reversed, paypal will expect the seller to eat the loss, so most don't use it. Most people don't use paypal for a lot of things, it isn't bitcoin specific. How many people on Craiglist or Armslist, for example, do you see accepting paypal? I buy and sell high dollar items there frequently, and 99% of people only deal in cash because it's one of the few payment methods that can't be reversed.

People don't scam for 10 dollars? Someone needs to send out a memo cause that's the most common scam.

Agreed. I saw this coming back when we were debating making a new forum for custom hardware, I mentioned that hardware should be the child board since GPUs would soon be defunct, and asics would be the new hotness, but they moved ahead with it.

Gambling is a bad idea overall, but if you can afford to lose then do what you want. If you can't afford to lose then you're dumb as fuck.
