Does my personal "spam likeliness" depend on the IP address that I'm using? Certainly not. I'm still the very same person, no matter from where I log in.
Why don't you give user-based bans, instead of IP-based bans?
We do, sometimes it's both. Problem is that mods can't see ip's (thankfully) so I have no way of knowing if someone is using their real ip or a proxy when I ban them. If I knew they were using tor I wouldn't bother. So you can either suck it up, or we can violate everyone's privacy by letting ips be seen by many more people. The former is the more desirable option, though more inconvenient for you.

I had my videos4btc account hacked the same way and theymos helped me recover it but he went quiet this time.
I can't do anything about that, that's why I said pm theymos. I was able to verify he was sending phishing links through pms today so I banned it, and just wanted to say so. Don't direct your bitching at me just because I bothered to tell you, it isn't going to change anything. The bad feedback can be removed at anytime. |

This has all happened before, this will all happen again. Bitcoin is constantly overshooting marks due to relatively low market cap, and swings wildly when derps panic, but the long term trendlines tend to hold true.
It isn't going to see 2 or 300 though, 500 at the lowest. Too much exposure.

I've got about 5% in silver, 2-3% in gold. I like stacks of shinies, what can I say. I don't really care what it does short or mid term, that's more for many years down the road at least, or even for my kids/grandkids.
