562  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 20, 2022, 10:01:26 AM

That's the thing, kahit sila yung nauna sa crypto space, kaso yung updates nila ay hindi for consumer or user's friendly unlike sa ibang nabanggit mo na Gcash or Paymaya.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: October 19, 2022, 03:51:21 PM
I believe that if the problem of corruption can be addressed at a young age, every country's degree of corruption will significantly decline in the near future.
Highly disagree, even if corruption will be addressed at a young age or on school, which is already the case, it will never be fully erased or resolved. Just as you've mentioned, corruption affects to much of the sectors of each country's society. For me, corruption is already embedded to every and each individual society and government. It's like a matter about what is right and wrong whereas people will often think and do the right thing but will have second thoughts about the wrong thing especially if it will be beneficial to them.
564  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 17, 2022, 10:04:53 PM
snip
True, implementing KYC makes the casino to spend more, the money used for hiring KYC verification service should have been a profit for the casino but instead they have to spend them to comply with the government regulation.
Casinos must employ a special team for KYC check services but not hire third party services such as websites for data gatekeeper services because there is no guarantee that data checked by third services can be secretly copied and used for other purposes, so casinos must transparently state that they have a special team for KYC data checker of each account user.
The cost might be the concern of every casinos and since this is not their forte, they tend to hire a third party for KYC concern and that’s ok as long as they get the reputable company to handle this. My only concern is my money, as long as I have the access to my account and my Money, i think I can still afford to fill out some KYC but when it comes to other documents, I’m afraid I can’t provide any.
There are various reason as to why gambling platform prefer to us third party KYC services other than doing it on their own.  One main reason would be security, since they'll be hiring a third-party service that specifically focuses on Data Acquisition of Personal Documents, users will be assured that their data's will be kept securely. Also, as a gambling platform, they just can't assign a "special team" but rather it will take a whole department for the casino itself to do the KYC process on their own. Just as you've mentioned, it will not be beneficial and cost-wise to the casino as well as the users.

Anyways, as for you providing KYC documents, I hope that you're only willing proceed with it to same platform rather than doing it on multiple platforms as it could be dangerous in the long run if you provide personal documents to multiple platforms.
565  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: October 17, 2022, 09:44:26 PM
this is very meaningful information for gamblers of course people who want to know how the history of gambling has existed until now, I read more deeply it is quite clear the history written here, had time to think also it seems that in our life is also full of gambling where we always bet from what we have to get something we hope for and want, sometimes we accidentally find gambling in the process of life in this world, thank you for this article

We might not notice it but we are actually gambling every day. That includes the risky decisions and choices that we're making as we strive and continue life just to survive. Gambling is everywhere and we couldn't just find it in physical and online casinos. It is already part of our daily living which we may not recognize every day. How we deal with the risks of life is already gambling.
I think you might be confused about gambling and risking as per definition, gambling is betting or risking ones something that has value in exchange for a possibility of a higher value or monetary cash.

However, if you will try to generalized everything that you bet or risk on as gambling then you're probably correct that everything we do is a gamble.

Live chat I don't know exactly what the last chance is all about casino gambling or any platform so if we don't have life chat does it mean that there is no means or will somebody can communicate with his the platform because before live chat is being introduced there's another place they will communicate to the customers I think like that
You can still communicate with the support sending a message through email or by contacting them on this thread or sending a private message to @TheQuin.

Freebitco.in doesn't invest in live chat, but as far as I know it has never prevented them from running smoothly for all these long years since 2013, when the platform was launched.
I tried checking the Freebitco.in website about how to contact them however the way that I find was by filling up the "Contact Form" which you can find on their faq.

Anyways, while browsing on their Website and Bitcoin FAQ, I was able to find a typo under the Bitcoin FAQ on the question about "What if I have more questions about Bitcoin?", It states that there 3 places however it only mentions 2 places.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good crypto casino comparison site on: October 17, 2022, 08:45:14 PM
I've checked OP'spost history and seems not interested to promote this casino review site, he is actively posting in the altcoin section I don't know why he is not interested anymore when there's a lot of money to be made in the casino review site, lack of interest in his review site could be the reason why there is no update on the casino I'm ok with Stake and Betcoin.ag being on top but MBIT and Bitstarz don't deserve on that position, but since we are bumping his thread, there's a possibility that he will be active in this thread again if he is still roaming in the gambling section.
Upon checking on his post history, most likely the reason why the OP is not posting any update about this gambling review platform is because he doesn't own it. It looks like OP is an ANN designer as well as he post those ANN Thread. You can see on the threads the OP posted are about different altcoin ANN Thread as well as Service Threads.

It's highly unlikely that OP will respond to this thread anymore and update the list on the review site.

Anyways, as for the list on the review platform, it looks like it's outdated as most of them are famous gambling platform from the forum however there much more trusted and reputable gambling website that are comparable from the review list.
568  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 17, 2022, 08:19:53 PM
They are worth it if you get some benefits from holding the token and especially use that gambling site anyway.   Gambling has been a major revenue source to crypto for some time for that reason I'd say this particular flavor of alt coin has a greater base to grow from then most ideas but of course be cautious  in your research.
Most of the benefits that these tokens provide are mainly from the gambling platform they represent on which is why these tokens are a must buy if you're casino has one. AFAIK, these casinos offer greater bonuses, promotions and much more services to those who hold their tokens rather than those who just regularly gamble on their platform. If your main goal for buying these tokens are for trading purposes, I suggest that you wait for future updates from these platforms to see any movement on their value as these tokens are likely to be stable compared to other tokens that aren't gambling related.
569  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: October 17, 2022, 07:19:00 PM
There are various trusted and reputable casinos out here at the forum that you can try and hope to love. However, the choice mainly depends on your preference as a gambler.

I suggest that you try Primedice if you prefer dice games and Stake if you want an all around casino that you play and bet on.

Anyways, here are helpful thread about casino that you check to see which casino platform you prefer:

but there is not that much to congratulate him if he bought the tickets as he has spent over 12 Bitcoins to get just over 10.
This is wrong.
Even if the winner has purchased all the tickets (which doesn't seem to be the case), he/she has spent only 1.2175 BTC for buying them, not over 10 BTC. Each golden ticket costs 25,000 satoshi.
4870*0.00025 BTC = 1.2175 BTC

If the winner has earned all the tickets through wagering, he/she wagered 24.35 BTC for earning those tickets. You get 1 golden ticket for every 0.005 BTC you wager.
4870*0.005 BTC = 24.35 BTC

Most likely, the winner did not buy a single golden tickets rather he received by wagering a ton of bitcoin on the platform which has been proven by the above reply of Marvelman.

Anyways, Imagine if the winner of the lambo draw bought those tickets intentionally as a risky gamble, how amazing would that be.

Still, whether the winner bought the tickets or not, he deserves it and a congratulations is in order. Congratulations to the whale winner, you deserve it!
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 17, 2022, 06:18:51 PM
But still, do you consider yourself a gamer if you mostly play on minigames such as lootbox opening and gacha?

If I have to answer this question, yes, of course, I'm still a gamer that way.

The purpose of spending that money on loot box or gacha is to try luck in getting a good item to improve our character.

I don't see why it can't be considered a gamer just because they are taking their chances mostly on gachas. For sure while playing mostly those minigames or the same kind, they are also spending time grinding. That should be obvious.
Fair enough, logically there are those gamers especially streamers and pro players that will spend a ton of money for the sake of having those limited and great stats items to boost their account or character.

However, what I mean by my question are those rich players who seldom plays and grinds the game but are always active when there's a new Gacha or Loot Boxes available. Will you still consider this type of player a gamer?

I've encountered both types of players and I never considered the latter player a gamer but rather a spoiled or rich dudes flexing their account.

Anyways, As for the main topic, about transitioning from a gamer to gambler, I guess one way to incentivize your gaming experience is by gambling on E-sports related matches as you'll be able to analyze better and see through the game better than a normal gambler.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 17, 2022, 05:17:19 PM
How much or how much have you used such a method, once, twice, three times or is it just a theory? If you have used this method so often, believe me you will eventually lose it all. Also, if you do this method you are required to have a lot of capital, because if your capital is only a little you will not be able to continue. But how much capital you have in the end you will only lose it all, I have tried it many times with varying capital but still I always lack capital because of course you will not be able to stop until you get the green color.
Huge capital requirement can't be fulfilled by every gamblers. This is for the users who hold a big volume of fund. In each and every strategy used in gambling, we need the luck to win, I've personally experienced losing on this strategy. Once the wallet balance is Zero and the next roll wins. This is not about the strategy, it is about luck. Lack of funds is a reason, but luck is a major reason for one win/loss.

There's no specific single strategy that could guarantee us good winnings in gambling. Things will always rely on our luck. No matter how big or small our beginning capital is, if we aren't lucky despite using the best strategy of our choice, we'll still have losses. We can pick an effective strategy but there's no assurance that it could always make us win. Both small and high rollers mostly rely on their luck and to be honest, every day wouldn't always be a lucky day for us.
This strategy does not guarantee the gambler winning but rather increases the chance of getting some profit especially if you have a large sum of bankroll to start with and long patience as you will need to put a small start bet to ensure that you'll be able to run it for a long time. Yes, you'll still need luck when doing this strategy as you can still encounter a long losing streak when using this strategy, and the longer you run it the higher, you'll be able to encounter it. I've used this strategy and I've only been able to win if I was able to end it while in profit. But there times where I've used it too long and all of my funds get rekt with a 10-20 losing streak.
573  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 17, 2022, 04:34:34 PM
It's all over the thread, talking about his account's negative trust (faking KYC) in relation to his threads of Stake's claims without strong evidence for the "match fixing".
I would also relate the KYC issue to his match-making issue as well, in terms of who's to believe in. Would you believe someone who will try to submit multiple different ID for the KYC? (suspicious and shady activity) Also, OP has no supporting documents or proofs to deny the match fixing issue other than his own denial.

If the account suspension is related to faking KYC then i would believe Stake did the right thing, that's obviously illegal.
Just as you've mentioned, Faking KYC is illegal already and could be used to suspend the account of OP however that's not what stake basing their decision to suspend OP's account but rather the match-fixing issue that they fully believe in.

But suspending an account without any strong evidence? I will tell its unreasonable and how should i believe that. That's already how many months ago yet there's no final conclusion of this investigation.  That's why i said people keep blindly believing of a reputed site saying whatever it is because they are reputed.
I agree on PX-Z stand here since no one care to user complaints if the casino being accused is reputable even though the user really suffer on long time of waiting for his account reviewed. I believe the SCAM part is really not true but the OP account is indeed lock for a long time.
I won't say that it's unreasonable as there are some suspicious connections that the OP has from a match fixer, based on the statement Stunna provided. Also, it's fairly common that the case could take months or even years to be investigated as the issue involves a lot of money and a criminal activity which is match fixing.

While I am having to greatly redact what I can share due to an ongoing investigation and not wanting to reveal our internal integrity measures. I will provide some insight into this situation. It is of our firm belief that user is engaged in match fixing and these concerns were echoed by our odds provider who independently warned us of your activity. On this thread you are witnessing some members of this match fixing ring all desperate to get their cut of this money.

OP found some information regarding fixed table tennis matches as he started taking maximum amount of profit from bets there where he never wagered before like that. His own XRP address had a transaction sent to a prior caught match fixer which looks like a payout for the information he got via him.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 17, 2022, 04:15:36 PM
Will definitely push my luck , it is rare occasion that we will be having a easy win in short time so with that? meaning you are lucky and may continue taking that advantage , but of course with limitation that will keep safe half of that wins so if ever luck leaves me? I still have the win though smaller than what could i get if I stand in table right away.

Pushing your luck but saving some of the wins first is the best thing we all can do in such situation. For me, I'll just withdraw my initial deposit and continue betting with the profit I made in that first few bets. In this situation, we can say that we are gambling without our own money so the worry of losing it is less than when we still play with our deposit. Of course we will still hope that our luck continues with the money from our early profit.
This could be the best and safest strategy in this scenario as you will be able to enjoy your gambling session as well as not lose your money in case you lose while playing. We all know that pushing our luck on gambling tends to always end one way which is losing almost of our bankroll however withdrawing what you've already won will keep you away from it, just remember not to be greedy and try to deposit it again once you lose.
575  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 17, 2022, 03:49:53 PM
Having negative trust rating on this forum doesn't mean that all his actions outside this forum should be considered as not true, lie, etc. About proofs, check his post history, or thread posted its all over there.
No one had said that his actions outside this forum are not true as no one cared whatever he does outside the forum as well as outside his case against Stake. In regard to proofs, OP have not mentioned any proof as well other than his denial with the accusation on his match making issue with Stake.

People should stop defending a service if the accusation is true no matter how reputed it is, or the case were closed but with unreasonable solution. Despite the attacked of some or most people here to OP of submitting fake KYC, they just blindly believe Stake about the claim of match fixing without no strong evidence given. Lol.
It's not about defending the service or platform; it leans more on people who are likely to believe with Stake rather than someone that has not provided any solid proof that the accusation against him is false or not true. Also, just as Stake or Stunna previously said, the main issue is not about KYC issue (which is true and could be used as supporting evidence that OP is suspicious and likely to do shady things) but rather the match-fixing issue that has been addressed by Stunna and still in an on-going investigation within Stake.

Now, it looks like once a reputed service will always be reputed base on its supporter or whatever they call it, even though it's unreasonable already. Lmao.
Nope, if OP has substantial proofs or evidence, things could likely be the other way around and Stake's reputation could be ruined.
Isa pa ang volatility ng Bitcoin, kapag ginamit ito as collateral malulugi lang ang mga bangko and that's why Bitcoin will never be used as a collateral

577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 17, 2022, 10:09:02 AM
Playing bet should be by choice and not doing what others are doing
And the others choice is to copy what the celebrities they follow do. Well, it's different for me. I don't usually allow them to influence me but who knows, if that's my crush that's telling her fans to look at her bets.

Who I am to not look at it?  Grin

So, it's depends to the situation on who's that celebrity that's trying to influence their community. I'm sure that others are also easily influenced by their celebrity crushes.  Tongue
I don't think that it would be a great idea if the reason why you would try and bet on something is mainly that you have a crush on the celebrity who's bet on that too.

It's best that you depend on each situation and if your idol or celebrity crush has a reason and logical meaning as to why they will bet on that for you to be able to have atleast some insights on copying his/her bets.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 17, 2022, 08:59:57 AM
Quote
Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity?
Yes, I can be influenced by my favorite celebrity however it depends on the celebrity that I follow and what games they are gambling on. There are celebrities that are great with gambling strategies and deserved to be followed on while there are those who bet who only have limited knowledge of the game.

On the example you've provided with Drake, I would pretty much lean on my own decision, especially with Sports betting as I can make my own research as well as analyze which teams are most likely to win. However, if someone that idolize in sports have posted that tweet, then I could probably see myself betting on the team they've bet on.
579  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Discussion] Post Bursting sa Forum on: October 16, 2022, 04:26:04 PM

580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 16, 2022, 04:15:32 PM
You know, it's really hard to scold someone, a child when your at most guilty of the ae crime. It's not a very good position especially when your also on the same position. You kind of restle with your conscience and as a result, you don't often come off with the right words or make the most impact.

That's why it's important that your kids don't get to find you in such habits. You might as well be there Hero and like there hero, they would tend to walk the path you on and you know what the result would be, disaster.

Gambling is for the matured in mind and those whom knows when to continue or stop. It's not a thing for children and it should be kept from them, as far away as possible.
As a parent, you should be able to handle child even with scolding. Not because you are doing something that you don't want your child to do means that can't say something about it and prohibit them from doing it. Also, it should not affect your conscience as you should know that prohibiting them is the right thing. Things could go wrong even what you say if you think that what you're doing is wrong.

You can still be someone your child to look up on or a "Hero" even with things that you don't want them to do. You just need to prove them and let them what the things they should idolised you.
