581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 29, 2023, 04:32:27 PM
I prefer to play traditional slots, where the outcome of the game depends on luck rather than skill. If I want to test my strength I play poker or any other gambling game in which I have the opportunity to influence the outcome of each individual move. In my opinion slots is not a game to think. Slots are more of a quick gamble just for fun.

I didn't even know that skill-based slot machines exist. I'm just wondering how it works and what skills are required to win on it. I also prefer the excitement that traditional slots could give. I'm actually contented with it and I don't see any problem with slots aside from it being quite addictive. Innovations could happen in gambling but there are developments that lose the essence of entertainment in the gambling industry.
582  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to use crypto to miximize profits through sport betting. on: March 29, 2023, 04:07:41 PM
The subject is to minimize profit but the post is to maximize profit lol.

It's really easy to minimize profit through sport betting because most of gamblers are tend to lost, actually they're want to make a profit through sports betting. I think there's no relation between gambling by using crypto and gambling by using fiat, it depends on how good your analysis is, not the currency you're using.

I certainly agree. Any currency would never affect our betting history as long as we are kowledgable of what we are doing. Losing is easier than winning but we can maximize our profit by exerting effort to analyze the sports of our choice from the game itself to the players. It all depends on how we're eager to discover more so we'll have a better assurance of winning.
583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of failure and success can help us control the emotions. on: March 28, 2023, 05:17:44 PM
In trading the number one enemy is our self emotions, many trader loss because they can't control thier emotions and it really affects thier decision making and sometimes it will become a reason for the big loss, in crypto we cannot be free from different emotions because everytime market condition is changing and it is really a high volatility market, i think experienced had a very big role on decision making, is this a reason why most of the newbie loss is it because they don't have enough of experience?
This is why you have to be ready to take the risks and stop thinking that everything is a win. I'd prefer to suffer a loss in early runs to know how does it feel so I'm not that surprised if I encounter the same scenario again in the future. Keep winning is great but on the other hand, if you can't handle one small mistake and ruined your emotions then what's the matter? Failure is a part of success

There's no such thing as perfect trading so it is normal to fail in crypto trading especially if we are just at the beginning of our journey. Failing doesn't mean that you won't succeed but rather it can be a big motivation for us to learn and be better. If we have experienced failure, we already know what to expect and through that, we can handle our emotions. Dealing with our emotions is quite hard sometimes because trading could give us a roller coaster ride of emotions so we should be firm in handling what we feel.
584  Economy / Gambling / Re: We NEED Bitcointalk Members Feedback on Casino Challenges! on: March 28, 2023, 04:11:38 PM
Holding a competition is quite an interesting idea because every gambler can really try their luck and skill when playing in an ongoing competition.
But the casino must provide at least 2 different competitions where competition is separated from gamblers who have limited funds and gamblers who have more funds because if it is equalized then small gamblers who only play with less limited funds may not be able to survive the competition ongoing.
All types of development that will be carried out by casinos must be considered and processed carefully so that all gamblers, from small gamblers to big gamblers, can all benefit.

Remember that this is not a charity tournament or an official tournament which user need to be in same tier to have a fair fight. This is a casino competition and the goal for this activity is to push players to spend more to get the rewards. Casino is not obligated to reward all the players especially small time players because they are business and this competition is just their of marketing.

You will get a reward based on your contribution and don’t expect to get a huge return when you are just investing small amount.

You are right that casino is not a charity but it is not wrong for casino to give good rewards to small-time gamblers from a tournament or competition. Duelbits did it in the past with a multiplier contest every single week in this forum where participants can win nice rewards. I have to agree with tusandii's suggestion that casino should care about both small and big gamblers as it is how a casino build its community.

Only those who are just starting to build a bigger community will consider small-time gamblers when it comes to running events and contests. Most of them focus on and value big-time wagerers and bettors because their main goal is to keep their business running and to make a profit. Most of them run contests and events so there would be more players that will wager a higher amount so I don't think they will focus on rewarding small bettors. They aim to make a profit so they will surely have wager requirements and it's up to those small-time bettors who want to join the contest to find ways and exert effort to reach those requirements.
585  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fellas be careful from this kind of scams! - READ on: March 28, 2023, 03:36:04 PM
Once you click the casino name, it gives you the option to "connect your wallet" once you connect your wallet, your funds are 100% lost.
Thanks, for alerting this to the gambling community here.

I once had a bad thing happen to my MetaMask wallet after I accessed a new casino that I found out about on the internet, without thinking twice, I was tempted by the bonuses and wins that I saw on their casino site, luckily I didn't have much balance in my MetaMask wallet, in short, what you said happened to me, without playing, the contents of the wallet on MetaMask disappeared without being able to say anything else after I saw the balance on MetaMask disappeared in a matter of minutes.

That's the worst experience I've ever had after accessing the casino to my MetaMask wallet, until now I really can't believe on behalf of the casino that I can directly access my wallet.

Metamask is prone to phishing and one wrong click might lead you into hacking. There were plenty of users who have experienced it so we better be careful in clicking links or as much as possible ignore suspicious sites. I've experienced it before as well when I tried to access a specific site where I didn't notice that it was just a phishing site. It's also a good thing that I wasn't storing my funds in Metamask. It's better if we will secure our funds in a safer wallet to have better assurance.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: My survival strategies in this harsh economic conditions on: March 26, 2023, 05:01:06 PM
Economic conditions that are increasingly difficult to make us have to always think creatively, I also feel a difficult economic impact since Pandemi, I use things that are for example I plant vegetables and raising fresh fish that I can give food from leaves, and this is enough to help reduce posts Daily expenditure, as long as we want to think and act seriously, we can solve everything.
Yes, apart from the impact of the pandemic, the war between Russia and Ukraine also greatly impacted the economies of several countries in Europe, the increasingly expensive prices of basic necessities causing spending to swell and not matching salary income.

You are right in a situation like this we have to try to be as creative as possible to reduce expenses.
You have provided one of the right solutions by becoming a farmer, besides being able to increase your income you can also consume your own crops and at least this can help your family's economy a little.
One has to keep oneself ready for every situation after earthquake in Turkey my many well off friends lost everything in a jiffy
You think you are safe in the house and then you run out sometimes you run back home like in COVID - life is so unpredictable

Unexpected situations could happen anytime so we must be creative and wise in finding ways to survive during times of disasters and difficulties. It's either we save or find alternative ways to earn. I agree that planting crops would be helpful as well as putting up a small business so we will have a source of income in case uncertain situations might happen especially if we have no one to rely on.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think blockchain gaming technology will have evolved by 2030? on: March 26, 2023, 04:26:54 PM
Blockchain gaming technology has huge potential, to be honest, and it could easily attract lots of players and investors, especially play-to-earn games. It only needs time to develop as some of them have failed during the bearish season. They still need to establish a stronger foundation so they could deal with any market situation. More changes and innovations are needed for them to work well in the long run and I believe that they could polish everything even before 2030 approaches.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 25, 2023, 04:17:00 PM
I don't think those coins would pump if Elon didn't hype them. There were actually coins that attempted to try to be meme coins but they only ended up being bubbles. We all know that meme coins were created to be memes and they don't have a definite purpose so I don't think they would gain the trust of investors easily unless huge personalities would manipulate or hype them. One weakness that I could see in memecoins is that they aren't reliable in the long run.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we return the stolen wallet? on: March 25, 2023, 03:28:22 PM
Unfortunately, there's no way for you to get your lost funds because of hacking. For sure the hacker has transferred the funds to anoter wallet right away. This happens when we open phishing sites accidentally or get fooled by fake sites. It should be a lesson learned for you but for now, you can't do anything to resolve the problem but just to move on and just be careful next time. Hackers are everywhere so you must handle your wallet responsibly.
590  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Sarado na ang Chipmixer! on: March 25, 2023, 03:01:45 PM
I actually did not expect this- imagine the best paying campaign signature (probably also the longest) ay nag close na sa forum.

Probably majority of the campaigners doon ay millionaires by now due to the number of BTCs they have earned during the whole course of their stay.

591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 25, 2023, 02:44:43 PM
AI could give insights and provide predictions to gamblers who seek good strategies in gambling, especially in sports betting. For gambling casinos, it will be a big help when it comes to identifying software and pattern problems. AI has been workng nowadays and is bemeficial to pst users even in trading. I think it only needs more time to develop and in the future, more people would see its importance.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 25, 2023, 11:28:51 AM
~
But I started playing blackjack yesterday with $1k and noticed that the casino sites are somehow cheating us. I lost my $1k yesterday. through Blackjack. What do you think about casino site algorithms?  Are they cheating with us?
I seriously do not trust many of the games, it depends upon which site you were gambling and you cannot trust every casino and expect them to be fair. If you check online, you would find many scam accusations that proved that certain casino were cheating. I did play in some of the trusted casinos in the cryptocurrency space and i think they are fair as we never had any serious accusations regarding their algorithm.
As long as we can find a trusted casino that is proven fair, I think we can play in peace at the casino. The casino will not cheat its members because the casino has become a place where many people play gambling so the casino has earned the trust of its members. That is why if you want to play at a casino, make sure the casino is trusted and has a reputation. Thus, you will not experience dissatisfaction when playing gambling. But if your goal is just to play gambling and have fun, you shouldn't think about cheating that casinos can do because that can burden your mind to think things that are not.

There are times that we can't think that way even on trusted casino maybe this is due to frustrations we have for losing streaks we encounter. Its quite normal since after we can get over with it for sure we realize that we lose because of the mistakes we commit while playing. And we need to know that as long as we gamble in trusted casinos for sure we can get less doubt about the fairness of the game.

Frustrations due to losses can lead to blaming the casino and we might accuse them of scamming s which usually happens to compulsive gamblers. If we know the risk then we should also be wise in dealing with it and accept the fact that we can't always win in gambling. We can't blame the casino for our continuous losses if we are unable to control ourselves from continuous betting. If we have the right mindset towards gambling then we could gamble the right way responsibly.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 24, 2023, 10:33:17 PM
Our definition whether if gambling is good or bad usually depends on how we deal with its risk. Not everyone could be lucky in gambling so we can't say that it's good for everyone. Gambling was originally made to entertain people so we can't say that it's bad. We could either fail or succeed in gambling depending on our luck and fate.
Anyone could gamble regardless of their beliefs or religious sector. There are lots of religious leaders that gamble and it will only ruin their image if they will play abusively without control.

and to add, if these leaders will play publicly. their reputation for sure will go down hard. gambling is good if you know how to handle yourself. but if not, this can devastate your life, even lose your loved ones in the process.
also, on the note about religious leaders who are into gambling. they are deem to be the role models, for sure, you will question your faith if you are seeing your pastor or priest betting publicly. but more than likely, there are a lot of these leaders who are discreetly into gambling activities.

Gambling can ruin a person's reputation especially if he is a religious teacher or leader because we all know that gambling is against religious belief and teachings. I agree that religious leaders should stand as role models so their followers and congregation will follow in their footsteps. That pastor has been selfish but maybe he has different plan for his own life but he has done his exit irresponsibly. In the first place, he should not accepted the responsibility of being a pastor if it is against his will.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pastor Shuts Down His Church After Winning About $140,000 In Sports Betting.. on: March 24, 2023, 10:15:21 PM
It's so disappointing that there are servants who could run away from their callings because of greed. I think he just pursued being a pastor so he would have a source of income but I don't think turning his back because of money would be a good idea. He should have made a good exit and looked for someone to replace him first or even share a small portion of his winnings with the church. Greed won't save him forever.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 23, 2023, 06:19:10 PM
In my country i observed so many people doing rally and blame the government why the basic needs price rise and the salary is still very low and not enough for daily expenses, is this the effect of the Ukraine and russia war that makes the gas or crude oil so high at price and they pass the gas expenses to the product and it ends to the very high price of the basic needs that make us very poor, I see the government has a move to resolve the problem but many people are still blaming the government.

Even countries with honest and hardworking government officials are having a hard time dealing with the inflation crisis. O government is exempted but they could do alternatives to lighten up the burden of their people. However, in some countries, government officials are also taking advantage of the situation. Instead of making solutions, they are doing corruption in different branches of the government. That's why people who rely on the government are really experiencing hardships. That's why it is better to work hard in our own ways so we can deal with the crisis because we have no one to rely on.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: March 23, 2023, 04:46:35 PM
I've watched some of Lopez' previous matches and I could say that he had a hard time beating some of his opponents. I think that's something that he should work on since they almost have the same record as Taylor. Though it is obvious that Lopez has huge potential though he's still in the process of establishing a good record. I hope he'll grab this chance to prove that his previous winning matches were not just won by luck.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 23, 2023, 04:30:47 PM
I have tried betting on a presidential election in our country before and to be honest, it was hard since there were fake surveys and news everywhere. I have witnessed how the last US election ran and as usual, it was also filled with drama and controversies but I find it interesting to bet on it especially since the upcoming candidates are tough and have strong credentials. For us to win this bet, a series of research will help but let's expect more controversies might actually happen again.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 22, 2023, 06:36:29 PM
The best time to launch a project is during bull market, if you really want your project to be a successful one, then you should launch it during the bull run, but only few projects are always doing well during the bear market, and they won’t do upto people’s expectations, if a coin is launched and it pumped by 500% during the bull run, if the same project is launched during the bear market, you might just see +100%. That’s why people prefer launching projects during bull runs.
Although the emergence of new projects is more likely during a bull market, it is not the only factor that determines their creation. Investors should carefully evaluate the potential risks and rewards of any investment, regardless of market conditions. a bull market cannot guarantee the success of new projects.

Some of the successful projects launched during the bull market had a hard time dealing with the bearish season and most of them failed. In my personal opinion, we could see the real potential of an altcoin during the bearish season. Its capability to survive and deal with the challenges of the market will be a big advantage. Most altcoins including new projects boom during the bull season so it's hard to determine the real potential of new coins.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 22, 2023, 05:55:39 PM
In my opinion, Ethereum is the king of altcoins. ETH is one of the most well-known altcoins on the market and has a strong community of developers and users. Additionally, ETH has unique features that set it apart from other altcoins, such as its ability to support smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). In fact, many of the most popular apps on the market are built on top of the Ethereum blockchain.

Ethereum has been in the crypto space for a long time and we have seen its potential through different market seasons so its capability is undeniably high. But I don't think having an altcoin king is necessary because there are also high-potential altcoins that might surpass Ethereum in the future. Ethereum will always be on top but we should not disregard how other top coins could reach the same achievement that it has.
