How is that relevant to the absurd definition of "anglo-saxon"?
Why is it absurd if this definition correlates well with objective reality?

It's absurd because it doesn't match a dictionary definition of that word and you need to have a consensus on what words mean if you want to have a conversation with someone outside of your mirror.

If you make up a definition of word "shit" to mean "a sweet food made from sugar or chocolate", and start saying that you like to eat shit and that this is objective reality, it would still be laughable to everyone else.

Fucking Pebbles... all I have left.

I hear you man. Those pebbles can be ruthless.

When things started getting back to normal I encouraged her to pursue a new position with the company she had been interviewing with just before the world shut down. She did and was rewarded with an excellent position in which she jumped into with both feet. A 25% raise and excellent benefits, man I thought things were going great! But yet the drinking kept getting worse and the distance a little more noticeable. There were no more invites to company functions, weird, but hey, different company different atmosphere right? But then I noticed she had been there for almost a year and I had never even met any of her coworkers. When I stopped by her office to drop off a forgotten item or invite her to lunch, she always met me in the parking lot and had to get back inside because she was busy.

I don't want to dismiss your pebbles but you might be overthinking some of it. For example in my previous job of ~5 years my spouse was never inside my office because it was just easier for me to get outside. We had an annoying sign-in-and-get-a-temporary-badge process for visitors and also very thin walls unfit for private conversations.

And even if what you're thinking is true, it's not like you could have changed much (or anything). Don't beat yourself up about it.

Fuck, I'm gonna have nightmares with this face now... ugh.

Having said that, Twitter has always been a shithole. Can't think of a better way to destroy it than by throwing 40 billion fiats into the bonfire.

OK Guys,

Not sure why I feel the desire to tell you guys (and girl) this, I guess after lurking daily for about 18 months, I've tricked my psychie into actually thinking of some of you as friends.

Anyway, after consistently DCA'ing every week for 75+ weeks, I am officially past the "one in 100M" point. Unfortunately, in mid September I became literally one. My beautiful wife, whom I have adored for the last 22 years packed up her basic necessities and announced that we were getting a divorce. No fights, no affairs, no logical explanation. She had already set up a PO Box, a new bank account, and had a little less than ½ of the available funds transferred a couple hours before informing me. As of that morning I was 100% certain that we were in for the long haul, till death did us part. As of that evening I was a broken mess wondering why I was still breathing. I came to the grim resolution that she had not killed me (physically) because she didn't want to live with the guilt. And therefore, because I love her so much, I can't just die and force her to live with it anyway.

I'm broken. But I still got my Bitcoin and I am in the green... so that's nice... I guess.

People change. Sometimes they change together, sometimes apart unfortunately.

It sounds like you will have an amicable separation, which is better than most divorces. Stay strong. Try to focus on routine stuff for a while, don't make big decisions. Life sometimes hits you where least expect but also has a habit to sort itself out with time.

Chinese representatives do not agree with you. China is still suffering greatly from its zero-tolerance covid policy, because covid has strangely proven to be more deadly for Asians than for other races. Perhaps this is because there was a leak from a biological laboratory in Wuhan, whose activities were also funded by the United States.

Oh no, Winnie doesn't agree with me, what will I do.

You do realize that Wuhan is not in Ukraine? Right? RIGHT? But it's ok if you don't. Here is your well deserved prize.

That's prety much same stuff like combat mosquitos

Not sure about mosquitos but lice attacks have been confirmed:

"The lice are eating us, there is no strength anymore. Everyone is constantly itching. There are not enough washing places, since the military camp was not designed for such a large number of people," said one of the mobilized.

Again false accusations, this time plagiarism. Grin

This is a free interpretation of the definition in my presentation. Supported by a relevant fresh example.

Not an accusation, quite contrary. It doesn't match any known definition of "anglo-saxon" so I'm curious where you got it from. It is somewhat similar to how some white supremacists use it (white English-speaking population). But if you made it up - that's fine. Just don't expect anything more than a laugh at this nonsense.

In your opinion, about fifty US biological laboratories in Ukraine are nonsense?

How is that relevant to the absurd definition of "anglo-saxon"?

If this is a lie, then why not investigate, study the evidence that Russia is ready to provide, and bring Russia to clean water? Why did the US, UK and France vote against this at the recent UN Security Council?

Because no one wants to waste time on something that is obviously made up. Any sane judge would throw out a case like that in court, they wouldn't say "let's investigate and study the evidence that Bob is ready to provide about Alice being a wolverine".

Agreed! You want to trade him for Tyler Lockett now? I want to get him out of your team before his future results begin to diminish hehehe.

Yeah let's do it. I figured that even in flex Lockett might be a slightly better option for me.

Keep in mind that if you accept the trade now you won't be able to use Goedert this week since he already played. I might be able to use Lockett, not sure. Or you can wait to accept after the weekend.

I sent you a trade offer through Yahoo.

Goedert...Lol

~15 points in one drive... I mean that's not necessarily a good thing but I'll take it.

Yes, shaking my head. I should have offered Tyler Lockett immediately when @suchmoon opened the trade. I was afraid to use Antonio Gibson for my W/R/T because your team's performance has been very good for 4 weeks.

He presently might not accept Lockett for Goedert anymore unless Lockett also creates 20 fantasy points or more for my team on week 9 hehehe.

Well, as every investment advisor will tell you - "past performance is no guarantee of future results". I don't know yet what I will do. Keeping Goedert for flex might be an option.

I doubt anyone cares to negotiate his "moral standards" of sockpuppeting trollfuckery. There is enough of that crap in this forum.

The German press agency dpa reports that 3 million tickets could have been sold for the NFL game in Munich on November 13 (Buccaneers vs. Seahawks).

Looks like you guys need a bigger stadium. Unless you can invent some contraption, maybe some box connected somehow to the stadium, that would allow you to see the action remotely. Might be worth a try.

Kidding aside, I know there is a lot of interest in NFL in Europe, just don't get why every attempt to expand there is doomed to fail eventually.
593  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: November 03, 2022, 04:15:12 PM
I think livecasino.io managers also say they have funds in escrow and they personally hold them, like Royse777. So I think suchmoon is right.

The difference in their case is that they don't have money problems (at least that we know of) and both of them have to agree to move the funds.

Do we know for a fact that Royse777 has money problems severe enough that he'd be tempted to steal $2000?

Here is the problem, or at least how I see it. Royse777 seems to be trying to rebuild his reputation. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is a whole other discussion (I personally am a big fan of second chances but not so much of 3rd/4th/etc chances). The point is, he's doing it. By engaging in an activity that he's good at as far as I know. It'd be more worrying if he tried to e.g. buy/sell small trinkets to farm trust or some shit like that. However the only real way to prove trustworthiness is to show that you don't scam when you have a chance to do so. If you use escrow or go first in a transaction you can't prove that you're trustworthy (and positive trust ratings in such situations are worse than worthless IMO). So the reality for Royse777 is that he must ask for other users to risk their money - in this case campaign earnings - and show that he is paying it out, if he wants to rebuild trust in the community.

This is not an endorsement. For all I know he could do just fine with $2000 but build up to a larger exit scam later. Just saying that this escrow set up alone is not an indication of anything nefarious.

[OPEN] SINBAD MIXER Signature Campaign. Up-to $75/w | Payment escrowed
It claims to have "Payment escrowed", which is a lie:
As a campaign manager to guarantee your payment I am holding 0.0984 btc (≈ $2,000)
I wouldn't trust anyone with money problems to act as escrow.

I wouldn't call it a lie. While it would make more sense to have a different escrow in Royse777's situation, as long as the campaign participants trust him (which they probably do as evidenced by applying to the campaign) and are aware that he's the escrow I don't see this claim as false. Campaign manager acting as an escrow is quite common as you probably know Smiley

The Anglo-Saxons are a community of people whose native language is English, and who experience some superiority over people with a different native language, consider themselves endowed with some exclusive rights to establish and create rules, as well as the right not to follow their own rules.

Can you please share a link to the Russian newspeak dictionary you pulled this definition from?

I do think Latavius will take lead from Melvin and thats why I cut him.

Yeah it's a gamble but I'm kinda forced to bet on the opposite here. I'm so thin on RBs now that Henderson is apparently on McVay's shitlist ("breathing issue" LOL) - even had to put Goedert in flex for this week...
597  Other / Meta / Re: Post history on: November 02, 2022, 11:35:00 PM
For example, I would think at quickest a cron job would run every minute which means if a post was made and deleted after a scrape already took place but before the next scrape was due (within 59 seconds), it will not be archived.

You wouldn't start a new cronjob for every scrape, and even if you did - there are ways to start them more often than once a minute (e.g. multiple jobs with different sleep intervals at the beginning). Anyway, the point is that scrapers can catch new posts within seconds.

Why invent something if Liz Truss turned out to be not only an incompetent politician, but also a complete fool? Plus, the operation did not go exactly according to plan and the explosive charge did not work on one of the branches of the gas pipeline - therefore, investigators from Sweden had to clean up traces and classify the results of the investigation for several weeks before allowing Russia to the scene.

So now Sweden is in on the "conspiracy" too Grin

Meanwhile in the real world suspects and random conspiratards usually aren't allowed into crime scenes. Once investigators are done I'm sure Putin will be given a folder with the results. Possibly redacted by FSB a bit to not harm his fragile ego.
599  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: November 02, 2022, 12:18:12 PM

It's a visual aid for dimwits that don't know who "anglo-saxons" were.

The story of the sabotage at Nord Stream looks like a contract killing, where the US is the customer and the UK is the executor. Who is to blame more - the customer or the executor? Depends on the jurisdiction, but in any jurisdiction, both are to blame.

Except there is no proof of either, just some speculation. Not too long ago kremlinists were adamant that it could only be the US that benefits from damaging the pipeline and is able to do it and there was a helicopter circling around etc etc. Now it turns out they were not able to do it on their own and had to hire James Bond LOL. Obviously Kremlin is making shit up to fit the narrative du jour.

@Suchmoon, you made an interesting point on Eno. I'm of 2 minds on him and one is that he is going to take Connors job. I'm trying to decide whether I like him or Brian Robinson Jr for the rest of the season.

Also I find it amusing that we are of similar minds on alot of players as you have 3 guys on your team I drafted and cut (under duress due to bench space caused by injuries).

Yeah we do get some of the same players and I'm quite sure you snatched a few off the wire right before me. But no, you can't have Jacobs Grin

I had Conner (and Edmonds) last year, kinda accidentally/unplanned, and he hauled in some serious pointage for me. Perhaps I'm being sentimental LOL but I think he's still the top RB for Cardinals. Although Eno sure had a good run (no pun intended) in his absence.
