581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: May 11, 2021, 11:38:48 PM
having a conversation with a friend today , he was asking me if he should sell or hold a coin. i didnt give a straight answer, i just told him the project is a good one that can do well but if you are willing to wait then you can hold but if you need some money then you can sell off. he then replied that he will wait for an additional 25% increase before he would sell off. i think i tried my best to let him make his final decision himself. is there any better way to do this? if it were you, how would you respond to this. ??
The response is based on the coin he is investing in, as some are truly worth hodling for years. I've put a lot of money into altcoins, and I'll tell you that I'm going to keep hodling until it hits or breaks through another ATH. Re-entry isn't a smart way to act on risky situations like selling on highs because it keeps going because it could get rejected, a dip is still a good spot to buy, right? FomoOMO is our number one foe; don't let emotions influence your decisions or you'll lose a lot of money.

TP or take profit - if you want to gain on some coins that won't breakout.
Hodl - if the coins have a huge potential of breaking out.

The conclusion is, make some TA. It will help your decisions.

..or go to the tradingview and find some TA about your coin.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: May 11, 2021, 10:43:07 PM
I get to be thinking what about all the government of the world unite and decide to stop bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?  Grin

I have wondered if this is possible to happen despite bitcoin being decentralized. Within me, I don't think that is no more possible because bitcoin is now unstoppable. Just like water is to the fish, bitcoin is the light of the earth.

What do you say yourself ?
It's impossible; the fact that some countries have already legalized cryptocurrency use means they have no choice but to accept it.
Even if certain countries impose several laws and prohibitions on crypto, it makes no difference because there are many ways to access it and as long as you don't let the government handle your wallet, all is perfect.

So, the conclusion is that bitcoin can't really be stopped unless there are limits on accessing the internet, but I think it's against humanity because so many of us now rely on it.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin on: May 11, 2021, 10:36:35 PM
I heard a rumor a while back that Facebook was planning to buy a large amount of bitcoin, so I wasn't surprised when I saw this, because there's a reason he called it Bitcoin. There's a chance he'll get on the bitcoin bandwagon right now, but he's still looking for a decent and right position/entry. Since he's the CEO of a social media platform, Facebook, maybe he has thought himself that used it like how Elon Musk influence the current market of Doge.

This should not be overlooked because it is one of the reasons that we, as small investors, should consider because it should provide us with a small profit.

Everything has been for a reason, never underestimate each thing because they could always go on the other side, they're rich and have a massive influence on the public.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 11, 2021, 03:51:54 PM
I'm now all in BTC and haven't sold a bit since 2013. I have a few Litecoins left somewhere but too few to mention.

I know putting all eggs in one basket is not very wise but I don't feel like investing in anything else right now. Is this a risky move? Maybe yes, maybe not.

I plan HODLing more, might sell a small percentage around November when odds say BTC might boost like crazy.

What's your plan?
IMO, the one and major coin you should invest is bitcoin, most of the altcoins were affected by the BTC market. It's your strategy, and I'm guessing you've thought it through thoroughly before throwing everything in. Also, because you've been investing since 2013, you're one of those investors who got in on the ground floor, so it's not a problem if you put all your eggs in one basket, particularly if they're golden eggs.

It's BTC, many huge investors will gonna put more money on it, just wait and HODL.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 11, 2021, 02:48:25 PM
Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? Don't worry, and it won't lose BTC's momentum in the future. A new report from Whalemap shows the largest cluster of whale coins in the range is 120,000 BTC at $ 58,000. As such, the lowest price can drop now at $ 52,000

$ 52,000 “Should Be BTC Floor.”

me? I'm not concerned in the least. This is just a good correction, and those who have been hodling for a long time will simply sell and buy in the dip. Since people are only beginning to invest in crypto, don't make it too complicated or too short. They've come this far, and many popular people such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg started to get interested in it.

Last year, when bitcoin fell from $20k to $5k in March, it was extremely cheap, and look what happened: it rallied to $60k. Just trust the market, everything will go well.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 11, 2021, 05:13:43 AM
To be honest, I'm not against him; in fact, I admire how, through his shilling system, he is supporting others in pumping this doge or bitcoin. Those who have remained trapped at ATH disagree, claiming that he is simply playing with the market which is their fault in the first place for not having good entries or positions. Everyone has an agenda; his initial goal was doge; people believed in and invested in doge in the hopes of profiting from the promotion he'd been doing for the past few months. Now that his plan has been revealed, this is it; SpaceX accepts Dogecoin as payment to launch ‘DOGE-1 mission to the Moon’ next year

IMO, He's not doing it for Tesla or SpaceX because those businesses have already accomplished great things without cryptocurrency. Elon Musk is doing this to aid cryptocurrency's massive adoption around the world by initiating this type of operation.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tom Brady changes his twitter profile pic to Laser Eyes on: May 11, 2021, 04:49:58 AM
~
Yeah, saw the twitter hashtag #LaserEyesTill100k.

It's become a Twitter trend that if you put laser eyes upon it, it means you're promoting or pumping it until it reaches $100,000.

However, I've seen a lot of comments claiming that he's changing his dp because he's going to start an NFT business. Yet, this is (I guess) another campaign aimed at attracting more crypto investors and expanding the community so I'm glad they made this hashtag trending.

589  Economy / Economics / Re: If Something is cheap you Buy it Buy the dips on: May 06, 2021, 05:55:33 PM
A dip in the market does not necessarily indicate that it is the best time to buy; it may experience another downturn and cause another dip. That's why we always tell DYOR: do your own analysis, evaluate the graph and the coin's movement, and then buy if we're pleased with the dip with good support. All are now on the internet, so you can look up any information you like about the asset you want to invest in to see if it's still worthwhile. The majority of people who lose money as a result of FOMO do so because they do not conduct adequate research. As a result, they lose a lot of money.

590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: May 06, 2021, 04:38:56 PM
May, in my opinion, is the real altcoin season so many altcoins have recently pumped 50-100 percent, which is already a big benefit. I'm waiting for ADA to become more bullish this month; it's been a steady coin lately, and it'll show its true colors this month. Waiting to see how long it will take for ADA to be paid off, it will be the next coin used for DeFi, just trust the process.

I'm also making sure to invest in other potential coins such as DOT, XRP, LINK, BNB and CAKE.  Grin

More ATH are setting records this past few days and will break another one, better invest right now!
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 06, 2021, 04:22:47 PM
Do you think he does it because he wants to make money? Do you think he speculates with Dogecoin?

I am wondering if he will keep tweeting about after the bull market is over.
He's simply memeing with dogecoin because it's a meme coin.

Is it for profit? No, I don't believe so. He's already wealthy, ranked first, and runs a multibillion-dollar corporation. I can't think of any good reasons for him to continue promoting Dogecoin.
Now that dogecoin has made history, whether he owns millions of them, he has made a significant achievement and benefited from memeing dogecoin.

Maybe he's doing it for the exposure, as part of his marketing strategy? We're not sure what he's focused on, but it's obvious that he's putting together a pump-and-dump scheme, similar to how he rules the crypto market.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charlie Munger hating on bitcoin on: May 06, 2021, 03:56:38 PM
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Charlie Munger has called bitcoin's growth and rise "disgusting" and "contrary to the interests of humanity."
"I don't welcome a currency that's so useful to kidnappers and extortionists, nor do I like just handing over billions and billions of dollars to someone who just made up a new financial commodity out of thin air," he added.

Charlie Munger's disdain for bitcoin demonstrates that boomers are feeling challenged because they became complacent and missed out on the next big thing.

What are your thoughts on the matter?

Is he referring to bitcoin in the year of 2009?  Grin

Bitcoin is unique at the moment, and he sounds like an elderly man muttering about a fact that is no longer relevant because it is too old. Most likely, he simply skipped the bitcoin bubble and is unable to benefit from it. He's like the other person who constantly expresses disapproval of bitcoin because they never invested in it in the first place.

They're too old for this, like Bill Gates, who has expressed concerns that it could result in a massive dump. They should just shut up and concentrate on their company if they can't do anything about it because they're already billionaires. It provides us with financial independence, which most people desire; those who oppose it are simply being selfish. Boomers out please.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: May 06, 2021, 03:28:42 PM
Hello all!

I want to share my cool experience about holding Bitcoin.

I become busy last year and decided to totally disconnected on crypto market or news to focus on my studies and extra job to earn despite pandemic last December 2021 when Bitcoin is on the early Bullish trend. It's really good to see now that my Bitcoin was already X2 the initial money that I earn on signature campaign here. I never though that Bitcoin price will go this far and I decided to take some profit although the current price is at correction.

Really happy to choose holding rather than convert it fiat by the time I decided to leave crypto.
Good timing.

That's what I've done in Doge.

I purchased dogecoin in January 2021 and have taken a break from crypto to concentrate on more important things in my life, such as finding a career after I recently graduated. Since returning to crypto, I've found that my Dogecoin has multiplied by ten, which is a large amount for me; if I didn't convert it to fiat, I could be a millionaire right now.

congrats for hodling in months! x2 is a huge deal mate.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto kings and queens: Who are they? on: May 06, 2021, 03:15:10 PM
King of Crypto is Satoshi Nakamoto, they are nothing if satoshi Nakamoto didn't exist.

But ++ for all they've accomplished, so I'm considering them as one of those kings for the time being, because Satoshi hasn't been identified. For me, Vitalik is the leading king; Ethereum is one of the best altcoins ever that can compete with bitcoin, and I'm fascinated by how smart contracts function, generating a large number of coins.

Though I admire CZ, Binance's founder, for his commitment to make Binance the world's leading exchange in terms of trading volume and low fees, which is why the BNB price is skyrocketing.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be hijacked by world billionaires??? on: May 06, 2021, 02:58:48 PM
It is obvious that world billionaires are indicating interest into bitcoin of late ,for instance Elon Musk twitted that you can now purchase his Tesla cars with bitcoin, is he trying to hod bitcoins so it will be scarce then he control and dictate the price of the market or is it for the good of bitcoin that we have been expecting ,what do you think
It's possible, but unlikely, because there are so many bitcoin holders, especially those who have been in the game since the beginning. It would be a fantastic move for any organization to embrace and hodl those coins in order to dominate the market, but as I previously said, there is a very slim possibility given the millions of BTC hodlers and the fact that Satoshi is still holding a million bitcoins. Maybe if this happens, Satoshi will come out and take a big step to stop it, which is why he's hodling so much bitcoin, what do you think? Roll Eyes

..but if this happens, hoping that they shouldn't control it for their own desire.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unban Bitcoin in pakistan on: May 06, 2021, 02:40:28 PM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were banned in Pakistan, Now according to some sources, the Pakistani government is going to unban crypto including BTC.
What's your analysis? How BTC market will affect by this? is this charming news for crypto lovers from Pakistan?
It depends.

If Pakistan has a large number of potential crypto buyers, the price of bitcoin will skyrocket because the vast majority of them will buy it. Countries that are decriminalizing or legalizing the use of cryptocurrency may influence other countries, serving as a stepping stone for the global adoption of bitcoin.

Promoting cryptocurrencies has the potential to increase the number of cryptocurrency investors, which is a positive thing and a big benefit for us.  Wink
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: May 06, 2021, 02:19:59 PM
Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap, unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.
Only go for the pump-and-dump scheme; they should be aware that Dogecoin is a meme coin that is transitioning to a utility coin because most platforms now support it. Shilling isn't a concern because it's one of the marketing strategies for hyping an asset. People should be aware that entering the hype is risky and that they should still DYOR.

If you haven't done any research into these types of coins, especially dogecoin, Elon Musk's most shilled token, you should.

What do you say yourself?
Some countries have already embraced Bitcoin, and they may be taking legal steps to allow it to be used officially in their country. Bitcoin is unstoppable, as most of the world's largest countries have begun to recognize it as a payment mechanism on various platforms. If this occurs, it would be in the future if they have replaced bitcoin with a much superior currency. Since bitcoin is decentralized, and there are a slew of resources to use on the internet to gain access to cryptocurrencies, the government can do little, even though they go all out against it.
599  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: May 06, 2021, 12:56:51 PM
The lockdown method give positive result but some people aren't discipline enough to comply this. I think the best way is by maximizing online transactions in our daily life. I think government should make a company that will do all product dellivery, every retail business should create an online shop on e-commerce. It can make new big job vacancies. Maybe this pandemic will end five years later.
I'm not so pessimistic. Still, let's hope that the epidemic will end in less than five years, or at least will not be as dangerous as it is now. I think that by the end of next year, there should already be serious progress in combating the spread of the pandemic, because the vaccine-producing countries will already have to cope with vaccination in their own countries and start helping with vaccination and vaccine production in other countries more seriously. I also hope that the problems with the mutated versions of the coronavirus will be solved by this period.
5 years is too much, some countries are already in the vaccination phase and almost half of the people are getting vaccinated. I'm pretty sure that it will end probably next year or 2023 if most of the countries have already vaccinated their people. We should be positive about this situation because certain people's mental health is deteriorating because they are unable to cope with the situation. Let's trust our scientists; I'm sure they'll be ready if another COVID-19 version is discovered; this will all be over soon.
600  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: May 06, 2021, 12:12:02 PM
I think rich in knowledge, of material wealth, money, freedom... is called rich. Rich is when you have a lot of money, eat luxury food. You buy expensive stuffs. You travel all over the world. You have profound knowledge, understanding of many fields. At that time you are really rich.
I suppose one of the most important and good definitions of wealth is becoming wealthy in knowledge, because if you have the wisdom and knowledge, you will undoubtedly become wealthy in the future if you used it correctly.

Luxury items do not necessarily indicate that you are rich since they may not have come from their own wallet. But, to be honest, being wealthy means you're financially secure and won't run into any problems.

There are a lot of fake rich people out there right now, flaunting their wealth while actually relying on other people's income.
