5841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still hot but Bitcoin Dominance is dropping. What does it tell? on: April 05, 2021, 11:09:11 AM
I'm not too worried about it. Aside from what has already been mentioned, you have to think that we measure the dominance of Bitcoin versus the rest of all the shitcoins. I'm not worried about the best coin losing dominance relative to 10,000 shitcoins.

In the past there was a battle with Ethereum, even very early in the fork with Shitcoin Cash it was also possible to doubt whether it would lose dominance against it. So, I might worry if I see that there is a quality coin that can give the battle to Bitcoin but about the dominance with respect to almost 10,000 shitcoins.

5842  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the fundamentals behind the conception: 1 BTC will worth USD 1 million? on: April 05, 2021, 09:17:24 AM
It is very easy to see why a price of one million dollars for each bitcoin is justified from a fundamental point of view, when people think about the money that governments print they think of the actual money bills that they can use, but they fail to understand that the great majority of the money around the world right now is in the form of electronic money and what it is even worse is that banks can print money as well in that way.

So far the inflation that we have been experimenting is very mild because people still trust in the US dollar but once that trust is finally lost all governments around the world that are holding the US dollar are going to begin to try to spend it to get something out of it, that's when hyperinflation will come and the price of bitcoin will easily reach one million.

Yeah, actually lately I have been thinking more about the fundamentals of fiat money having value than the fundamentals of bitcoin. I don't think people have realized it yet but the problem is not the Bitcoin grounds, the problem is the grounds of the currencies issued by central banks, and more with the acceleration of printing they have suffered lately.
5843  Economy / Economics / Re: The total value of the crypto currency market is near $2 trillion on: April 05, 2021, 09:11:52 AM
$2 trillion is really good, it shows how much we are progressing. I used to think that Apple was worth around $1 trillion until I saw this post and decided to check it on Google and now I come to know they worth up to $2 trillion and that’s really huge. But I believe the cryptocurrency market will be passing that worth in a short time. Then we will start looking at each cryptocurrency, which would be the first to reach the trillion mark, I know for sure that it’s going to be Bitcoin. As for altcoins I don’t know which one is going to cross that mark first, although there is more possibility that it will be Ethereum.

Slightly more than half is due to Bitcoin which currently holds $1.08T. A good website to compare market caps is this one:

https://companiesmarketcap.com/assets-by-market-cap/

When we reach $100k in price we will have surpassed Silver, Google and Amazon market caps, provided that they don't change much from now until then.
5844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kevin O'leary is the gift that keeps on giving. on: April 05, 2021, 08:59:39 AM
The positive point of this is that he, like Saylor and many others have gone from Bitcoin naysayers to Bitcoin believers. People who don't know this world are seeing more and more news and more people saying that buying Bitcoin is worth it.

You didn't check bonus posts after tier c?

That was my impression as well. I wrote some posts in the Gambling section, like 4, and appear with no bonus posts, as well as the others from that tier downwards.
5846  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I hope I'm welcome here... I'm Newbie on: April 04, 2021, 05:05:10 PM
This is my first post and I'm quite happy to be here. Although it took me quite a while to come across this great platform that focus more on Bitcoin. Bitcoin as the master of all crypto currencies had been my major interest when it's comes to learning about the crypto world. Sometimes I get surprise seeing how it's price flunctuate going up and down forming a higher high(HL) and higher low(HL) which keeps me amazed of what could be behind it volatile movement and the entire system. I'm ready to learn everything about the great asset called Bitcoin and I urge for everyone view and assistance in actualising my quest for knowledge.

Well I've gone through the rules(the ones I could lay my hands on) and sometimes I get confused about some terms used here... although I'm still learning and never to quit.

Let's say I'm a Newbie or should I call it brand new member and I think I don't need to look farther cos all I've been longing to learn is here. Well I'm  a quite simple person, ready to learn, take corrections and abide by the rules guiding this great platform. I hope I'm in the right place to post this?
Thanks for this great opportunity!

As it seems that you intend to use the forum well and your post is well worked, I have given you your first merit as a welcome.

Aside from what has been said by fellow members, I want to warn you of the downside. Do not copy, do not beg, especially merit, and don't cheat in general. It doesn't look like you're going to do it anyway, but I'd rather warn you because lately I've caught a couple cheating and then when they get caught they regret it and it's too late.
5847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the any direct faucet pay to my wallet Instantly on: April 04, 2021, 04:58:58 PM
The best one is https://freebitco.in/. It pays directly into the address you put. It is a reputable trusted site and it has many other features.
5848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Halving in 2024 & Price prediction? on: April 04, 2021, 04:57:22 PM
I say it's too early for that...

Are you out of topics to start? We can't talk about the price of bitcoin during the next halving in 2024 when we may to even correctly get the price prior to the halving, if you have been observant this bull run of 2020 ending shocked many even the best optimist, I think the next bitcoin halving is a very long way to go, so much can happen in between the years gap.

You guys are already predicting the next pump after the halving?? Isn't it too early?

Yes, lol. I don't know what's the point of trying to predict the next one now, but the OP is free to open whatever threads he wants. As to what he asks, I would say that if we are lucky in the next cycle we will hit $1M. We have to think that the supercycle theory already gives $1M as a top for this cycle, although it seems like too much to me (I'd be happy if we reached that figure, though).
5849  Other / Off-topic / Re: What does Guys want ? on: April 04, 2021, 10:16:20 AM
In an ideal world, I would just want to fuck and be left alone. Since the real world I live in is far from ideal, features like those mentioned by DeathAngel are best:

We want honesty, trustworthy, funny girls.
5850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the institutional coin on: April 04, 2021, 10:08:36 AM
I wouldn't say it's an institutional currency, because to begin with, as of today, it's more of a store of value than a currency. Maybe it will be in the future, but I doubt it. We should not forget that if Bitcoin is succeeding in this cycle it is thanks to institutions, and I don't see a problem with that. It departs from the original idea of the Bitcoin, but many times an invention goes beyond the idea that its creator had.
5851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why April may be the best month yet for Bitcoin price on: April 04, 2021, 10:05:09 AM
What the article says falls within the scope of what is expected. The massive printing of the dollar has a direct relationship with the price. Furthermore, and this is not said in the article, companies are increasingly realizing that the best protection they have against currency devaluation is Bitcoin. It then goes on to say that April is usually a good month for Bitcoin, but that is a pattern of the past that need not remain so. While I quite like the April price prediction of $83k, I expect the price to be that or higher.

5852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paris Hilton has joined Bitcoin’s “laser eyes to $100,000” on: April 04, 2021, 06:52:18 AM
Although it's a bit of a laugh, this is good. The more people that appear in the media as having bought Bitcoin the better. If it's people from the gossip world, even better, so it helps to normalize and popularize Bitcoin to the masses.
5853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2021, 06:46:55 AM
Its important to see where are we in terms of bitcoin / altcoin season.

What is the meaning of the important thing you are trying to talk about?

The important thing is that this is not a time to invest in the altcoins as many people are shilling their alts (Top 3 altcoins, Altcoins to perform well in April etc etc). Since we are at the top of altseason, its time to sell the alts and get into bitcoins, else you will be stuck in altcoins.

Here is a secret, In the bitcoin season, we should buy cheap alts and sell them in altseason while most people buy alts in altseason.
In altcoin season, we should focus to buy bitcoin to prepare for bitcoin season next.

I think it is just better to buy and hold Bitcoin, or maybe DCA. It has been the most profitable investment until now and it will save you a lot of headaches. Just buying and holding Bitcoin for long enough will result in a great wealth.

I don't want to try to time the market with alts. If you are able to, good for you, but I think most people will profit enough with the much simpler strategy.
5854  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you buy bitcoin? on: April 04, 2021, 06:42:03 AM
Initially it was for the potential return. Then I started to get interested in its decentralized nature, the POW, etc. Lately I am not so much interested in the potential return as in protecting myself from the massive printing of central banks, which would be two sides of the same coin. As for the price, I can't tell you, as I did DCA and don't keep track.
5855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Easter save some coin on: April 04, 2021, 06:38:03 AM
... I'm only saying making investing as part of the celebration would add color to the it both now and in the near future
...

I like more when you talk about investing than the title. Saving if not to invest later is not very smart nowadays due to mass printing. I'm not saying don't have a small emergency fund but other than that invest what you can.

Where I disagree is the Easter part. For me any time is a good time to invest, more so in Bitcoin, the prayer part I leave to you believers.
5856  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are conservatives happier than liberals in general?is it religion? on: April 04, 2021, 05:33:46 AM
Conservatives are happier, because they know that the vaccine is causing God to act, and send Jesus back for the Judgement. He'll be here soon, even if it takes 10 years yet.

No, he won't. Jesus was a flesh and blood human being who died and will never return. And when he doesn't come, you're not going to come around here and admit you were wrong.

And no, there is no scientific proof that conservatives are happier, what you say are lucubrations not based on rational arguments. Basing them on the phantom that you believe in does not give them any credibility.

5857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin had its best Q1 performance this year since 2013 on: April 03, 2021, 07:07:02 AM
Interesting but when we look back 50 years from now there will be a lot of coincidences and less amount of perceived trends.  Bitcoin is different now versus 5 years ago and the average investor/trader is different than 5 years ago so I dont expect bitcoin to always follow the same time trends day by day, week by week and year by year.  We will always see new "trends" form and break which will end up being just coincidences.  With that being said i hope we follow the same path a q2 is killer 🙂

I totally agree with this, and it is one thing that is repeated a lot in the analyses that are made of the price. Supposed regularities are inferred from past trends and it is assumed that they will be similar in the future. When the truth is that some trends will repeat themselves and others will not.

On the other hand, I too hope that we break the statistics and spend many months in the positive.
5858  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin Smash Socialism in Venezuela? on: April 03, 2021, 07:02:18 AM
You are contradicting yourself. If Chavez distributed oil money best as possible, long term investments would have been done, but in fact they weren't, as you said.
If he can't be faulted for that, who should be then?
Not entirely his fault because it isn't within his control that the prices of oil dramatically reduced, yes it is his fault that the way he distributed the money towards the country is real bad but there are some that are not within his control, not to mention that his successor Maduro is incompetent. I don't think that bitcoin alone is enough to do a dent in the problem in Venezuela because if the government is so bad then the problem persists.

No, Chavez did not distribute the oil money well. What he did was to squander it on populist measures. Those who have managed the oil money well were the Norwegian politicians, who knew how to create the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world and from the rents from which their citizens benefit. They were socialists, or social democrats to be exact, but if we point out they were capitalists in terms of wealth creation and management and socialists in terms of distribution.

5859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you help me ..? on: April 03, 2021, 06:51:02 AM
I just found out what Bitcoin is and how it can be used  Wink Wink . I want to buy bitcoin for him, but which bitcoin should I buy? Where best to follow the Bitcoin market. Can you write comments that might help me with these things?!  Huh Huh

Who do you want to buy Bitcoin for? I don't know if you have expressed yourself badly. In any case, you've been given good advice here, just remember that if you do end up buying, don't be fooled by Bitcoin Cash and all that crap. Buy only Bitcoin, the real one, the one that has no last name.
5860  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 03, 2021, 04:11:40 AM
I don't know about the speed but I'm sure it will reach $100k this year. There are so many factors involved that make it almost impossible to guess when it will do so, but in 2-3 months I see it as plausible. What I also believe is that when we get close to that figure, it will be hard to beat it. We have been having resistances in the round numbers, $30k, $50k, $60k. It is quite likely that there is going to be a big resistance at $100k.
