601  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 15, 2023, 06:21:49 PM
Ibinalik yung leaderboard rewards  sa v2 ahh though wala pading slp sa game as far as I know. Ibang bansa palang kasi merong access eh.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: August 15, 2023, 05:43:00 PM
I still have some shiba inu coins, but until now I still hold them, during a bearish season like this time, of course, meme coins like shiba seem to be in a deep sleep, but I'm sure that when the bullish season comes there will be price upheavals, and there we will can sell it at the right time, considering that at any time a dump can occur in the blink of an eye. I only have a few, because considering this is a meme coin, it wouldn't hurt to speculate
We all have our own speculation and bias on altcoins to hold but personally I don't like meme coins but I think it is ok if it's the top memecoin since it has a solid community and has the strong support of the public. I'm more into hidden gems since it has a high chance of growing given that the fundamentals is good, the only one it lacks is the push of the community.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Whitepaper just Buzz Word in Alt and Meme coins? on: August 15, 2023, 03:39:38 PM
I still read whitepapers but yeah it becoming less effective now as it can be plagiarize and most of them especially sh*tcoins, doesn't really be followed. For the meme coins who have their whitepapers, I don't expect it be followed as majority of them don't survive and follow their roadmap. To be honest, it's useless for memecoins to have a whitepaper.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: August 15, 2023, 02:50:02 PM
Before this year 2023, people were launching projects with whitepaper, roadmap and promote those projects with Their team. Memecoins were few but this year, situation is changed. Everybody is busy launching memecoins, no whitepaper, no roadmap. 8 projects are memecoin out of 10 projects.
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?

I personally think it's because the era of meme coins hasn't really arrived yet. So if we look back in 2017, ico projects became trending because many people made big profits from ico's, followed by IEO, IDO, then play to earn games using cryptocurrency also trended.

After this, NFT followed, then AI trended this year, and recently it was the Pepe coin, so probably when the bull run comes, it is possible that the time for meme coins will come.

I don't think so. We've seen several hype trend on meme coins before and I don't think that the effectiveness will be the same as the past upward price. I think that there will be a new trend upcomming that will rise in the next bull market. I'm trying to get a gist of the possible trend, I'm thinking about the airdrop projects now as they have a solid community right now but yeah we can't tell the future.
605  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat o Mag educate Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: August 14, 2023, 05:50:21 PM

This is true at real life na nangyari na saakin to before. May mga tinuruan ako before na ako yung sinisi because nalugi sila which is normal kasi crypto is a volatile asset. Imagine na sila na yung nag pumilit na turuan ko sila pero at the end is ako parin yung nasisi. Kaya ngayon di ako masyado nag tuturo unless makita ko na desidido sila matuto like alam na nila yung basic terms and slangs dito sa crypto, at that time sure ako na nag research na sila a head and onting guidance nalang yung need nila at for sure alam na nila yung risks.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: August 14, 2023, 05:23:12 PM
Gambling problems and gambling addictions often lead to deep debt is never good for anyone, gambling is a bigger risk, so it is best for every gambler to avoid debt. Taking out an additional personal loan can make sense in certain situations, but it can have a negative impact on you. Therefore, paying the loan and gambling according to one's ability will reduce the problem even if you lose. Get a second job to pay off debt depending on the primary source of income by working a few extra hours per week, paying off debt is a good decision if you can come up with more money.
It's not easy as you saying, if there's a good or interesting job out there, they will apply for it and then start to work to collecting more money. Since they're lazy to learn a new skill or they're don't know how long they need to keep trying to learn the skill, they choose to make quick money via online. It's why they jump to gambling or trading since they think it's easy to buy low and sell high (trading) or press the spin button (gambling).
Addiction in gambling will eventually lead a gambler to a lower position. The gambler will lose his natural enjoyment of gambling. A gambler does not have to endure any trouble if he loses his money. But when a gambler gambles on debt, he can become bankrupt in a short period of time. Debt will never allow a gambler to gamble normally but will only lead to more losses. A gambler must be more aware on this issue. But if only a gambler can control his greed then he can avoid such situation.
Being into debt and an gambling addict at the same time is one of the worst case scenario that a gambler can end up. The pressure will be non-stop since you can't lose because you still have debt to pay and the enjoyment you receive was replaced by mental struggle of being pressure every gambling session you have. Adding to that is the additional motivation in being greedy knowing that it will never be enough because you have to pay debt. At the end of the day, the chance of losing if you are in debt is I think has higher chance than the one who are just doing gambling for fun.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Meme Tokens Forge a New Era of Crypto Champions? on: August 14, 2023, 04:20:09 PM
I've been a fan of memes, but I never imagined a world where meme tokens team up like superheroes until I came across 'MemeVengers' on my TL. It's a concept where famous meme tokens like DOGE, SHIBA, and other memes come together under one banner with the goal of giving each token unique traits and powers, making them heroes in the crypto world.

If you're a meme lover like myself, what do you think about this concept where memes collide in the most epic way?
If you are thinking about your idea being a long term or a serious project, I doubt that it will ever happen knowing that it's a meme coin. No one would really want to invest in it for long term because majority of the people who knows about it thinks about meme coin as an easy money or quick rich tokens. Though if someone really made this into reality, I will only just watch it and do nothing with it since I'm not a fan of meme coins or quick rich tokens.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 14, 2023, 03:57:03 PM
I am more into what could be implemented as new games through AI developments not guess part honestly. Currently we are wagering on same traditional games. But with highly developed AI, there could new games where you interact more with ai especially in live betting. AI may measure more data on pitch (speaking about football) that gambling companies may use. Advancement with ai will change a lot.
There will be new games that will implement AI into the game to attract people and make them curious. And gambling games in the future may be different from what we play today. And if that happens, maybe our generation will miss the types of gambling games that we often play today. But for sports betting, AI can easily collect the necessary data so we can analyze it by combining these data. And using these data might increase our chances of choosing a team with a greater chance of winning.
Yep that's true. There's a chance that AI that is focus in sports betting is now being develop by someone. It will be an easy money for the developer if it happen that he develop a high accuracy one. Though making an AI a smart one is not easy as it need to be constantly trained and feed by data. Also, I don't know if casino's will be against this knowing that they won't suffer that much losses in sports betting compared to the casino games they are offering. Sooner or later, we will see how AI will dominate gambling in the future.
Pero ewan for me 'di sa'kin worth it yung course na ganyan if gusto mo mag trabaho sa corporate world. Siguro pag nag apply ka with that degree sa blockchain di pa halos adopted kaya di pa siguro indemand yung ganyan.
Satingin ko kasali yan since widescope ata yung course na yan pero naka focus in crypto. Di ko alam yung subjects sa course na yan pero I'm sure na may programmig jan also with a marketing type subject. If we based sa career oportunities na nasa OP, Hindi pwede mawala yung coding subjects, siguro yung languages na ituturo sakanila is yung well used language indeveloping blockchain projects.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs real or fake? on: August 13, 2023, 05:09:16 PM
Maybe a dust NFT. We have seen this kind of things on tokens that are distributed to random wallets that has an intent of hacking a wallet. If it's a too good to be true asset, make a research and discover the fact why it is in your wallet. Scammers are trying to be creative as much as they can to scam people. Just don't interact with it to be safe. If I'm the one who received spam/random NFT. I will do a research first on what or where does it came from and by them, you can see what is the intention of the sender wallet.
611  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💸FLIP.casino - ONLINE CRYPTO GAMBLING 💸 $2.00 SIGN UP BONUS 💸 on: August 13, 2023, 04:13:05 PM
I've always wondered why people create something like this without a license with 5 scripted games? I do not recommend making deposits at this casino.
To do business ofcourse. Having no license means no license forceful KYC requirements. There should be something that a casino should start to and using established game codes can be one of them knowing that it can provide ease in deployment and will give more time to focus on other casino features. I've saw so many aspiring casinos like this but to be honest, most of them are just dissappearing because of lack of customer. It's because on how fierce and steep the casino industry is.
612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 12, 2023, 09:15:21 PM
Copy trading is easy, less hassle, however, the challenge on it is to find the right trader that'll give you profits most of the time. The disadvantage is that his trading funds could be bigger than yours so there's a chance that your funds could be burnt in no time while his funds doesn't even budge. So in my opinion, doing copy trading has its own risk and the final decision is yours to make.
Even copy trading is much easier than regular trading, it still need something to do or maintain especially in the beginning. A lot of research need to be done on the trader you are copying and the strategy that the professional trader is doing because like you said you can be burned if you don't have that much funds. Basically, it's not something that a pure newbie who can successfully execute everytime. I think it's for someone that has an experience to fully take advantage of this service/system.
613  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: August 12, 2023, 06:29:02 PM
For me, since I discovered that most casino don't like their customers using VPN to bypass their restrictions, most especially those in the areas or jurisdiction where the casino has placed a ban on, i simply don't use VPN on casinos, even though i live in an area or country where most online casinos are operating normally, I simply don't want any problems, s better not to use the VPN at all.
And talking about privacy, what is the essence of using VPN as a means of hiding my private details if at some point, the casino will still ask me to verify my identity with them? most especially when i big money and needed to make a withdrawal ..
It's not a about whether they like it or not but they just completely restrict such VPN usage if you are from restricted region so if anyone gets caught the account is blocked with whatever funds in it.Now about KYC then they have under its policy but some use VPN to bump the IP just as safeguard but if you are small gambler not much KYC details needed.
I feel like that is a risk people are taking and willing to take. The options are either you are going to gamble there with VPN and eventually get caught, or you are not going to gamble there at all. This is why I believe that we are going to end up with something that is a bit different in the end, it's like you are telling the people who can't gamble there without VPN to not use VPN which means you are telling them not to gamble here.

I understand it, if it's not allowed to gamble there without VPN then it means they shouldn't, but most of us do not have a right to gamble anywhere, we are banned from nearly every single casino due to our country, and that is an important thing to remember people use this option.
Technically yes. Casino don't want gamblers froma region that don't allow gambling to play on their casino because they are not allowed to. They have a license and that license is not permitting them to accomodate those gamblers. Not allowing VPN is one of the method for casino in not letting citizen from banned countries to play in their casino. Gamblers who is a live of a country that are banned from caaino like duelbits can use other casino that didn't restrict their country or those who doesn't have a license. I'm sure those casino are happiliy to accomodate them. Casinos just can't bend their license rules. Not allowing VPN is just a precaution for the casinos.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Appeal may take away XRP recent gains. Here is why on: August 12, 2023, 06:04:26 PM
The SEC are always trying to screw crypto investors. They can’t harm bitcoin too much so they try to take out altcoins. They try to brand everything as a security. Hopefully in a couple of years, mass adoption has occurred & the majority of people are invested in crypto. The SEC will be utterly powerless then to stop the tsunami of young, new age investors.
This is what new projects should avoid. Projects should have learned from XRP case and they should avoid the points why SEC filled a suit case against XRP. SEC are doing their job this is why projects should learn the law to avoid being on the watchlist of SEC. Altcoins are targetted because there are various peojects that are built differently, SEC can easily find holes in those projects like SEC allegation against XRP as a security.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: August 12, 2023, 05:21:34 PM
Nowadays bounty campaigns are not paying much compared to early bounty campaigns. At the moment most of the bounty projects are scams and they are going nowhere when the campaign is over. Only a few have the potential to survive in the future.  The majority of the bounty campaigns are worth a mere 100 to $200 per month, and this is not enough when you look at the current inflation and upcoming recession.

You are still lucky if you can earn a 100$ on a bounty campaign for a month with only using one account and participate and one type of campaigns since bounty manager nowadays only allocate very small portion of tokens for the bounty budget and the token valuation usually decreases dramatically when it was listed on exchange and distributed to all the participants that makes the rewards almost useless.

I can’t remember the last time I join multiple campaigns and earn almost nothing for a month of work. This time I start ignoring bounty campaigns and focus on signature campaigns that pays in Bitcoin.
It's just that bounty campaigns are not really profitable consistently, you need a very good luck in order to earn something from it. People also rushing selling their token reward after seeing that the coin has a value. It's been like that since then but the thing that changed is how peojects really support the price back then. Even with the selling pressure of bounty joiners, the token value at that time doesn't fall that much as the support of the community back the  was strong compared today where it can be treated as a shitcoin because of lack of price support. I agree that it is lucky to earn 100$ on a month by just doing bounty campaigns.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 12, 2023, 04:40:39 PM
Somehow people on twitter believed these billionaires will really rumble in the cage. The gladiator type of fight in ancient Rome ruins is a kind of visionary way of looking into it though. Made me believe Elon is really just playing around.

You can’t blame them since Zuckerberg is really involved on Martial Arts while Elon is known for doing crazy things including buying twitter whihc he really did while everyone thinks that he is just trolling.

I still believe that this fight will gonna happened but I’m sure there’s a catch whichboth party involved might get something big out of it aside from the result of the match. They might reveal a huge project cooperation on the fight night.
I believe that both of them will utilize the fight they are preparing to. If the fight relly commence, I will absolutely watch the fight given that it's biliionaires who are fighting and you can't see this everyday. Sponsors aren't needed but there's a chance that they might accept one given that they will be donating the proceeds. I hope that the fight will become a reality even and will have no issue at all like injuries before the match that can be a reason for postponed match. It's pretty obvious that I want the match to happen even if it's pure hype right now.
https://bitpinas.com/business/bdo-cbdc-digital-dollar-project/

Grabe yung issue ko with BDO before dahil sa cryptocurrency funds ko at finorce close ko nalang yung account ko para mailabas ko sakanila yung pera ko. Sobrang judgemental nila sa crypto at for me, yung kikitain lang talaga yung gusto nila kaya nila cinonsider ang crypto at hindi yung real adoptation. Traumatize ako sa BDO na never ko ma cinonsider ulit na mag bukas ng account sakanila, I'll stick with unionbank and other e-wallets since wala pa naman ako na eexperience na kagaya ng na experience ko sa BDO before.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 11, 2023, 03:12:31 PM
I don't think there is anything wrong with that thought. If casinos are doing the KYC then they are abiding by their jurisdiction. Secondly, if they are doing the KYC then they are also making client-user contracts and it becomes one sort of evidence that we are registered on that casino, we have our cashier account too. As we move with time and make transactions they are getting recorded against our KYC so it's solid proof. Now, you never know when this proof will become an important thing in your life if somehow they do a scam of some type. This could be a lifesaver. I have seen peeps fighting for their life when some casinos ask for the KYC because if they have surpassed certain limits of transaction/winnings.

If that is the case then I hardly think the anonymous nature in a casino matters. I can understand when it comes to the physical one, but when it's an online casino, you have to be very cautious.

I prefer that casino do not ask for our KYC but usually this cannot be implemented in a real world because the casinos have to abide by the rules and regulations of the governing authorities and if they do not enforce KYC, these agencies will not allow them to run these casinos. We have to live with this.

However, Anonymity is a really good thing but unfortunately at present times when we have centralized gambling platforms, this seems impossible to remain anonymous.

Being anonymous is now a luxury on crypto caainos. Most reputable casinos are now collcting KYC for different reasons like abiding the law, can also be a precaution to abusers and cheaters. It's hard to find a keeper casino that doesn't full collect KYC. We can see new casinos offering no kyc collecting as some kimd of feature to lure people who want anonimity but the drawback is their legimitacy is not verified also given that they don't have a license knowing that they don't collect KYC. Being purely anonymous on an crypto casino right now has it's own risks.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 11, 2023, 02:40:58 PM

Dana is also behind the hype of this as he had been setting up the two yet he can't give a final date of when the battle will be.
But in an interview no one is ducking anyone and he got a point when he says the two are not professional fights for a living.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boRl-jOJ9IM&t=362s

I still think this is not happening because of Dana's response. If he had been talking to both of these billionaires and still are unsure of the dates then its the billionaires is the one playing Dana.
Yeah, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerburg are one of the most powerful people in our world right now and it is still their decision if they will get along with the hype of Dana created. Both of them are had their own footage of doing MMA trainings and both of them are trained or guided by professional MMA fighter. There's still a chance that they will both fight and honestly I'm rooting for them to fight. I'm speculating that if the fight happens, the losing player will either X(twitter) or facbook stocks will be affected by the outcome.

I can only assume Zucker vs Musk fight will happen in the metaverse since later in this interview, you will learn that UFC and meta ventured into the metaverse. I guess only their avatars will fight in the Metaverse. Nothing serious about this especially because they are not really into combat sports.

In the Metaverse, anything can happen. Everyone onboard in meta can have their own avatar created by AI and can do all sorts of sports. Thats where we are heading I guess yet we still can bet.

Well that's a smart way to settle and promote the metaverse. If they fight in the metaverse, they will be both benificiaries since both of them are owners of tech companies and they are the big guys who support metaverse. If they both fight im the metaverse, the current metaverse technology will be tested if it can support MMA sports. Though even if it's a genius idea to fight into metaverse, I'm still hoping for both of them to fight im the real cage.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance indirectly manipulative by promoting Tokens? on: August 11, 2023, 12:47:28 PM
Maybe yes or maybe no. It's really hard to know given that binance is the number one centralized exchange right now and project owners really strives launching their project or listing their tokens on that exchange because it's a big deal on their own communities. Most of project who are listed on their launch on binance receives a good support because we all know that mot every project can be listed or accepted by binance, it's an achievement for them to have binance with them. I think binance promoting them is somehow the support they give to the project or a promotion for their own platform. Launchpad or anyway that people interacts, binance is surely generating some money from it. It's hard to tell to be honest.
