601  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying accounts directly or using crypto prepaid VCC for card-only accounts? on: January 03, 2024, 11:48:22 PM
The #2 can be a good choice only if you deal with someone you know or if this provider is trusted here on the forum.

The #1 best option is if you own a VCC or debit card and can refill it by yourself so that you can refill it the card every month if needed. The problem is most of the providers right now require KYC and most of the non-kyc VCC providers can't be trusted.

Why not use a debit card from Binance or Coinbase?

Someone used fcfpay.com before that provides VCC without KYC I don't know if they still work their forum account here is no longer active and it seems they are moving or rebranding to zyptopay.com
602  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exchangue crypto to fiat?? withdraw fiat for transfer swift on: January 03, 2024, 10:29:33 PM
Those exchanges like Binance, Kucoin also in have internal "p2p" service for cashing in and cashing out fiat, Please check them out also.

The P2P option on Binance does not have a cash-in and cash-out button for fiat and it requires KYC before you can able to use P2P exchange, It is a direct P2P exchange that supports limited coins/tokens that can exchange local currency(Vice Versa) but they don't have a swift option.

@OP it seems what you looking for is supported on crypto.com I never tried this site before so do your research first.

603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EHLO - maybe someone has detailed (Hardware) Information about Antminer B7) on: January 02, 2024, 09:13:47 PM
This is a technical section related only for Bitcoin but the unit you mention is for altcoin mining.

If you want to get the best explanation about this unit better bring this thread to the altcoin mining section.

Or read this https://cryptomining-blog.com/10695-new-bitmain-antminer-b7-96khs-asic-miner-for-bytom-btm/

605  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Asin A1 23TH on: January 02, 2024, 04:08:05 PM

i have noticed that this particular miner has 2200v output.

Do you mean 220v inputs? Or 2200w outputs?
Can you make this thing clear?

What's your current outlet voltage?

For safety purposes, I suggest hire an electrician and ask them to make a separate power for your miners only with a proper circuit breaker because we do not know if the cause of your issue is due to other appliances connected to the same outlet or due to an unstable power source or PSU but I don't think it's a PSU issue. You should have separate breakers for your units to know if the issue comes from your units or the whole house circuit.
606  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 Pro hashboard 2/3 mining on: January 02, 2024, 03:44:10 PM
I just want to add this to troubleshoot the issue if this is only a cable issue you can run all hashboard one by one and swap all cables to other hashboards to check if the cables are working fine.

Also, take note of the busbar for some corrosion and rust use sandpaper to clean them and test it again.
607  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9 SE Troubleshooting on: December 31, 2023, 11:58:28 PM
What things have you already done so far?

According to your logs, it seems the issue is related power supply.

Would you mind to try test the hashboard one by one?
What I guess is PSU is running abnormally.
608  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cancel/Remove sweep private key transaction on: December 31, 2023, 01:44:04 PM
How long does your transaction stuck on the mempool after you sweep the paper backup?
If it is two weeks long you can sweep the private key again but this time make sure to increase the fee.
Use https://mempool.space/ as a reference and which fees are the best to use with the current network condition.

Or I think instead of using the sweep option import the private key and bump the transaction with higher fees.
609  Other / Archival / Re: Hello bitcointalk on: December 30, 2023, 10:35:11 PM
Good morning, afternoon and evening everyone. I read about the forum from a discussion on Twitter, curiosity got the best of me (cryptocurrencies holding one of my interests of 2023)  and came to see what's all about. As the name implies it should be about Bitcoin right?

This forum are mostly related to Bitcoin but if you want to talk about alycoins and tokens we have a section for them.

610  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mid 2010s (2013-17ish) Wallet Recovery on: December 30, 2023, 05:31:14 PM
Ok, the other wallet I could suggest is Multibit HD, he might be generated the seed phrase from that wallet software but this wallet is long gone you can maybe try to use the BIP39 tool check the link below.

Paste the seed phrase he had and then go to the derivation path then client and put it to Multibit HD.
Copy the xPub or extended public key and paste it to this link below repeat the process to other clients until you find used addresses on the xPub scanner below.

Once the tool found some used addresses focus on that client for the recovery process.

For safety purposes, you can run the BIP39 tool offline if you don't want to expose the seed phrase online.
611  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mid 2010s Wallet Recovery on: December 30, 2023, 05:11:25 PM
Is your friend sure that the BIP39 seed phrase he had was generated year 2010?

BIP39 seed phrase was introduced year 2013 so how did he generate his seed phrase before?

Have you tried to use the function called "detect existing account" on Electrum?
It should be able to detect and point you to the right wallet with used addresses but if not the seed phrase he had is not generated from any BIP39 wallets.
612  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1246 acting strange HELP on: December 30, 2023, 12:32:47 PM

HOW TO SAVE THESE SETTINGS SO THAT EVEN IF THE AVALON 1066 PRO (IN MY CASE) SHUTS OFF, WHEN IT TURNES ON AGAIN, THE SETTINGS COME BACK AUTOMATICALLY.

Currently, we don't have a permanent solution for this, Canaan didn't release any commands to permanently save the parameter you sent via the FMS app.

If you want to push your miner and improve hashrate I suggest use the performance mode under pool configuration.
That's the only permanent solution to keep your miner run in high-performance mode.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BRC20.COM a legit project? on: December 29, 2023, 10:52:43 PM
Currently, COM is listed on Coinmarketcap but not in Coingecko, and according to Coinmarketcap the current position of BRC20.com in market cap is #2263 which is far beyond the 7th largest market cap.

This token can be traded on 8 exchanges not listed yet on big exchanges.
About their plan and development activity check their telegram and white paper on Coinmarketcap.

614  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Temperature reading error on: December 29, 2023, 06:20:57 PM
No much info what the cause of the temp reading issue?
I'd like to suggest download the WhatsMiner tool to find the issue and error codes.

You can download the Whatsminer tool from this link below

Once you find the error codes shown on this tool check the error code under this link below and then follow the solution according to the error code.

615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone know what is going on with ViaBTC transaction accelerator? on: December 29, 2023, 05:08:07 PM
No luck many people use Viabtc accelerator they are waiting every hour and not only real users I do believe someone also uses a bot and bypasses the captcha to submit their unconfirmed transactions.

We already discuss this check the thread below

The link already posted above faster than mine.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it a legit airdrop or not? on: December 29, 2023, 04:58:51 PM
Airdrops are legit but the problem is we do not know how legit is y24 token.
Currently no data yet on Coingecko it doesn't even have any announcement here on the forum and it can't find much info about this and we do not know why this token was created or any future plan for this project(Roadmap).

What I see on their Twitter page it is restaking which makes you passive income up to 86% APY.
For me, it's obvious they made this as an investment token we know almost all investment sites/projects out there are scams if it was just made to let your investment grow by almost 86% APY with no roadmap or purpose why this project was created.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Some help would be great as I am lost. on: December 29, 2023, 12:59:11 AM
Should I start over completely?  I have this feeling like my bitcoin core for windows is kind of useless if I want these personal server-type thingies.

Well, it's way safer if you run a Bitcoin node in a Linux OS.
Based on Samourai Dojo documentation they didn't mention Windows OS but Linux environment so I think it's time-consuming if you still want to recover corrupted data from a virtual machine and fix them.

It would be better to start over again but this time instead of using a Virtual Machine use an extra hard drive/SSD to install Linux OS and Bitcoin node.

Edit:
I found a guide that I think that fits to your needs if you want to stay using Windows you will need an extra device to install a Bitcoin full node server.
Read this guide "[GUIDE] The simplest Full Node guide ever. [GUIDE]"
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Which version of the Core Client for a cold wallet should I use? on: December 28, 2023, 11:59:40 PM

It's a Raspberry 2 with Raspberry Pi OS (based on Debian bookworm).

I don't think Bitcoin Core would work normally on Raspberry 2 it didn't meet the minimum requirements.

Read the minimum requirements here https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#secure-your-wallet

It requires 2 GB so this unit where you plan to install the Bitcoin core would not work normally due to low memory unless you configure it to use less memory.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin Guides Would Help You Most? on: December 28, 2023, 12:10:56 PM
For me, I think it related to Crypto trading strategies because most of the guides out there are not free if you can provide detailed trading guides and new strategies for free many of us will be happy.

I agree with others too that wallet-related guides and how they can secure their wallet will help many people if you can provide a detailed guide about wallets and security. Also, take note of Web3 because this is the most keyword used on Google searches these days.
620  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1126 or 1246 immersion. on: December 28, 2023, 11:44:52 AM
Hi,

Would it be the same with the avalon 1166pro?

You can try there is someone here who tested it he went to 1166pro immersion but he experienced some issues with two hashboards not working and the one hashboard working randomly. However, his two miner works normally without fan.

Check his thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5377607.0
