622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 20, 2015, 04:30:57 AM
Pretty much all estimates in this topic are a joke :X Tongue

- $200 - $400 to develop a gambling site? "the coding can be done by anybody and it is easy"? Lmao. If you want to be hacked or scammed, that sounds right. But if you want a trusted and good developer, you can add some zeros to that amount and be surprised how difficult getting such developer is.

- $6 a month for a VPS? Can be... (my site easily runs on such VPS) but you can't expect to process millions of bets a day on that Tongue The bigger sites generally do pay hundreds of dollars a month for proper servers.

- PD earns 100 bitcoins a day? Tongue It's actually easy to have a theoretical estimation of profits. Just look at my site. HE *  wagered, easy. Variance can be more sick than you think though.

In addition people generally overestimate their genius ideas, no offense. Perhaps it doesn't exist yet because people don't care for it. And altho unique ideas can be awesome (like bustabit), sometimes people are hesitant to try something new.

Actually there are some unique games that I like, for example 64blocks.com - and it's even properly developed / good UI / etc. Still almost no traffic/players. Good unique idea, properly developed, trusted owner (Dabs), .... still no players. Just put in some "marketing" and "SEO" is also a lot harder than you think Tongue

Overall: people highly overestimate how easy it is to get a gambling site running with a decent amount of players.
623  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: October 20, 2015, 03:31:56 AM
The only legitimate complaint I have ever read about Trezor is that no fully validating node wallet supports Trezor yet.

Just run bitcoind, own electrum server and build electrum 2.5 from source. Easy.

Lol, but I obviously agree. I think the above way is the only way, but pretty difficult / time consuming / heavy on computer / etc Tongue Hope to see an easier way soon Smiley Still fully love my trezor though, by far best way to store/use bitcoins.
624  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW VIP Program - Dice RAKEBACK on: October 19, 2015, 02:07:22 PM
Some more highroller action. Two huge bets: BTC125 bet to win BTC50 and BTC100 to win BTC100, although all bets were pretty big:

Safe to assume this is same as "bbbye" Wink He up BTC31 on this account too atm.
625  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW VIP Program - Dice RAKEBACK on: October 19, 2015, 04:17:55 AM
Is funny the player name be bbbye can be compare like BB bye (betterbets bye) is very double meaning maybe.
Haha wow I didn't even think about that. That could definitely be the meaning lol
626  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW VIP Program - Dice RAKEBACK on: October 19, 2015, 03:43:21 AM
Some nice highroller bets here. Including a BTC100 bet for a BTC50 win. bbbye up 35 coins atm.

PRC currently leading in the Wager WARZ with BTC924 wagered vs BTC488 wagered of BetterBets: http://dicesites.com/wager-warz But it's only the first few days so anything can still happen in that competition Smiley
627  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BetterBets.io presents - The game Changing, Wager WARZ II Competition ! on: October 16, 2015, 12:07:36 PM
The addresses are mixed up in second "daily" post Wink

Also ideally you could remove the addresses from first. So odds are still there (as archive) but no one makes bets without seeing the new odds in second post.

Daily bets cool idea tho Smiley
628  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk is it possible to separate businesses and gambling discussion? on: October 15, 2015, 01:38:40 PM
In general adding subforums is a bad idea, I have seen ideas before to create: sportsbook, dice, etc subforum and obviously that would only make things less clear (gotta visit a lot more forums to browse through gambling sites.) That being said, I think a seperate Gambling Discussion board is needed and I was actually thinking about that only the last few months (without noticing this topic.)

Tradionally AFAIK (note: 60% of my posts are in Gambling so I do really lurk there a lot Tongue), most topics were from gambling sites. Each site had one topic. And sometimes we had some discussion topics. Then begin '14 the half of the threads were from ponzis so Micon, me and others complained and new subforum was created, which was great. Now I, and apparently others according to this topic, see an increase in "discussion threads" and I think it's time to make it a separate forum for it.

The distinction for me is sites and non-sites (I think name "Gambing Discussion" is fine though). I think it's great for players to just have a list of actual sites that they can use to gamble and separate discussion threads in a subforum. Especially for new players joining the bitcoin gambling community. Now normally I wouldn't mind to mix it, like we did before. But there are really a lot of discussion threads these days. I just opened the first page of gambling and found the following threads:

Discussion
International Games Prediction Thread

So that's probably more discussion threads than you would expect.

Personally I do like to join some of the "discussions", but I think there is a clear distinction between these types of topics and I think it benefits everyone to split those. I am sure there are plenty of people just looking to play at a site for their entertainment and not looking for betting tips on some Spanish team or how to start a gambling site.

Obvious ponzi scam is obvious. Nice design too, looks a bit like www.clixmansion.com - I guess you use the same HYIP scam script "EvolutionScript".
636  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW VIP Program - Dice RAKEBACK on: October 13, 2015, 07:12:12 AM
This guy had a pretty sick win Grin

637  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: October 12, 2015, 05:00:34 PM
New dice site:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1184476.0

Don't have an official thread yet thou since the admin got his hands full with adding new features to it!
I might add them in the future if they become more popular. Feature-wise it looks all pretty good Smiley

I did notice that the (test?) bets of the admin are still there. That is a bit strange since it's an invest-site and besides that it would have wrong "total" stats (which means I cannot add them to my site.) So I hope that gets fixed.
638  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Grindabucks - is it worth it? on: October 12, 2015, 04:11:15 PM
See main thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=866998.0 Owner chazley is legit, but I never have been a fan of those tasks-sites (and obv don't have experience with this site.)
639  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: October 12, 2015, 03:39:50 PM
Thanks for reporting that. And Ryan thanks for changing the CloudFlare settings, the crawler indeed got the CF JS verification page. I hope MP doesn't get DDoS attacks in the future or DiceSites might be out of stats again hehe Tongue
640  Other / Meta / Re: Account with highest potential activity? on: October 12, 2015, 02:02:38 PM
No, that list is sorted by "most unused activity" and includes people with 1k+ activity too, your example is actually also there Wink

So the highest with 812, means he had 453 activity at that time, but could had up to 1274 activity. Which is a bigger difference than your example (and therefor higher in that list.)
