621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 02, 2023, 11:04:34 PM
I am really curious why some people are really happy or willing to share their holdings or like worth. Especially in Bitcoin which we all know it's still new and some people misunderstand it like they don't fully understand.
Because here in our country, some people always thinking if you have Bitcoin, you already rich  Cheesy
622  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: November 01, 2023, 02:06:22 AM
Who else experienced here that the list of active bets or settled bets in the Duelbits dashboard is missing? But on my profile list of transactions I can see some bets are being credited or the history of my transactions.
When I logged in again today, I saw everything is fixed now and they gave me a 3.00 Free bet.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Solves This - Money and Banking on: November 01, 2023, 01:52:52 AM
  • Holding Bitcoin made me to start learning about the technology, economic principles, and the fundamentals of currency and transactions.
I don't think you really need to hold Bitcoin first before you can start learning about technology related to Bitcoin like the blockchain. With basic understanding and will to learn is already enough.
Because it's a must for me before you buy any amount of Bitcoin.
You have a point here about learning these such things but be careful of holding without basic understand because you could lose money.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the irreversibility of Bitcoin transactions a downside for an average person? on: November 01, 2023, 01:45:17 AM
I think it's an interesting point of view.  My guess is they're coming from the bigger picture of how decentralized systems without a middleman are useful.  Since Bitcoin cuts out the middleman, theres no one to go ask for your money back - which also means you don't have to pay fees for chargeback protection like with credit cards and stuff.  Even if you don't get an advantage all the time, having a system that's predictable can be valuable in itself.  It simplifies everything when users know upfront that transactions cant be changed later and

overall I'd say the pros of Bitcoin being irreversible are 1) no fees for chargebacks 2) fits with the decentralized model and 3) makes the system straightforward because you always know where you stand.  But I'm just speculating based on what I know about crypto and payments.  Definitely an interesting perspective from certain users.

Yep, it's more likely when we are solving other problems, some part or feature will be sacrificed but if you take a look, it will not really matter, you can't solve decentralized and cutting the middleman if you reverse transactions.
So for me, I don't see irreversibility as a downside at all, it will be always a person's problem.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your one memory related to Bitcoin that you want to forget? on: October 31, 2023, 03:45:28 AM
What is your one memory related to Bitcoin that you want to forget? It can be anything like some sort of scam happening to you or some other type of loss.
Before I had a lot of Bitcoins I started to buy some random altcoins. So if I just held my Bitcoin only even though there were a lot of bear markets already, I should've lot of Bitcoin and less of losses.
Well, it's very lesson for me because I was a beginner before, for sure a lot of people can relate to me.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTT Token on: October 30, 2023, 04:14:54 AM
For me, FTT will become just like other altcoins that experienced some bankruptcy or any issues with the government.
Some of these altcoins could be used for some pumps and dumps, the best example is for the altcoin token of Luna before.

For me, if a project has some issue like this, it isn't easy to regain the people's trust. So for me, it's a no, not to trust anymore again.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is health and health is Bitcoin. on: October 28, 2023, 09:08:43 AM
their is something that is paramount for Bitcoin investment, it can to my knowledge that health is more of important than any investment, before you invite you have to treat yourself very properly, their is some people who prefer investment first before health. Do you know that when you are not healthy you will not be able to read and understand what you read.

I have being unhealthy for a while but to read and make a research of coin I should invest , but due to health issues I could not make research.

in summary without a good health you will not think out of good project to invest. so without a proper health I don't think Bitcoin investment can be actualize.

Obviously, ours health should come first and it's very important to every individual. But if you really doesn't want to complicate things on your end because of health issues, I think Bitcoin investment will fit your bill.

I mean you don't have to research for a good project to invest. Bitcoin is one of the best assets we have right now. And then you can simply buy it weekly or monthly depending on your budget, or just do DCA (Dollar Cost Average) strategy and you will be good and just be a holder for long term.
Health is still important even what you will do even DCA or even there are a lot of ways to do DCA now like automation.
We must also relate this with Bitcoin because this applies to all bitcoin investments. That's why a lot of people always advise that we must take care of our health and we must priority it before anything else or even before Bitcoin investment because it is indeed important.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whether Bitcoin ETFs are approved or not, we expect bullish trend on: October 28, 2023, 09:05:23 AM
In this situation, if Bitcoin ETF applications are not approved, will Bitcoin not be bullish? Only 2 months left of this year. We expect a potential halving event for Bitcoin in the coming year of 2024. If the Bitcoin ETF is not approved by this time, could we still see a bullish movement in Bitcoin price Until the Halving event ends?

Bullish does not depend on the acceptance and rejection decisions of Spot Bitcoin ETF applications. Spot Bitcoin ETFs and halving events could be one of the reasons that strengthens bullish.
(.....)
I don't think so, ETF approvals are the main thing these days, the most awaited events. For sure for the long term it will not really depend on it but for the short term, it is really important especially if you are a trader, you will see very volatile price actions.
629  Economy / Speculation / Re: 127% Up from Bottom in 2022 on: October 27, 2023, 11:21:27 AM
Many are still bearish and think it will go back but let me tell you, it's not going to stop anytime soon. I hope this HODL journey will be awesome for all of us.

This is bad. I was hoping to see more times to buy Bitcoin at a price less than 30,000, but it seems that the wheels of the train have moved. Let us hope that Bitcoin maintains levels near 30,000 and does not move quickly. In general, until March it reached the price of 40,000 to 50,000. The possibility of 100,000 during 2024 will be very possible.

Truly bad. Hahaha. But there will always be more DIPs and more opportunities to buy Bitcoin at a discount. Although they may not be the DIPs that many people want, those will be the kinds of DIPs that will make it easier for your mental health and sanity because they will form higher lows. Those DIPs won't disappoint you. Cool
Exactly, even if there will be no more really dip, it's always good to buy because, for me, it is better to buy than to miss the opportunities to buy because of too much waiting for the dips.
For me, buying on confirmation is also better than buying with dips, at least somehow you have some confidence to continue the price hike.
630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may not hit $24,750 again in 2023 - I'm bullish till 2024 on: October 27, 2023, 11:17:55 AM
-

Even during bull season, there will be small incidents that cause the bitcoin price to correct, so we should not be surprised if there are events that cause the bitcoin price to drop between now and the halving. But I believe the main trend of the market will still be an uptrend. Bitcoin may be correct but will soon recover and continue to increase. That's what's happening this year and things will continue that way until the bulls arrive.

Yes, bitcoin has gone high and I agree with the OP, we are unlikely to drop below $24k again. Things changed for the better when bitcoin crossed $30K.

I never again expected the price of bitcoin to fall back to the $25k level after it broke through the $35k resistance this month. Of course bullishness is more expected than a correction or bearishness in the rest of the year, but both should absolutely not be ignored considering that it is always possible to see a correction and test new support levels.

There is high confidence about $40k to $50k by the end of the year, of course that is a very realistic price to expect after seeing how quickly prices recovered at the end of October. We'll go to $36k, $37k and $40k, of course that's the hope.
Let's say we will never dump again in below $30,000 again until this year. But what if next year, when most of the ETF deadlines will happen and there's no one ETF will get approved? I believe the price of Bitcoin will react. The question now is how dip we will get just incase for that? Below $25,000? For me, it depends on the price of Bitcoin in the future when these things will happen.
631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull season started? on: October 27, 2023, 11:14:03 AM
For me, it's still early to celebrate this time.
What I am looking forward to is we hold the $30,000 level until the end of this year, by that, I will be fully convinced that we are back, there could be new mini bull season plus the Bitcoin block halving is fast approaching and ETF deadlines next year.
632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Scheduled deadlines of Bitcoin Spot ETF applications & Price speculations on: October 27, 2023, 11:10:51 AM
The year 2024 is most awaited now. There are lot of surprising and exciting events will happen especially for me the Bitcoin block halving. Which for me, is the most awaited and exciting.
Plus, we all know there could be some effects if they get approved or declined.
For me, even if it is declined and the price is dumped, I will still stay and hold.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: October 27, 2023, 11:07:01 AM
Seems Ethereum and BNB is the majority choice here.
For me, they are good choices too but, I am more convinced by Ethereum right now.
BNB is also good especially if you are looking forward to high ROI because let's say if Ethereum and BNB go back to their all-time high,  you will get more profits in BNB.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs usdt (Tether) on: October 27, 2023, 11:03:04 AM
(...)
Both have their potential of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology are endless.
USDT is issued by centralized institutions and cannot guarantee 100% immunity from insider meddling.
Include also the issue of Tether stablecoins that not having 100% backed by USD.
But even though this is the issue, people still using it, and huge market cap on this stablecoin.  Bitcoin is far for Tether, I does not making sense to compare it with centralized stablecoin.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noticeable New altcoins that launched in 2022 and 2023 on: October 26, 2023, 03:24:16 AM
Arbitrum for me is one of the recent projects that launched recently. We all know how this layer-2 network really became popular because of first their airdrop.
Arbitrum because it is a layer-2 network, a new one that will compete with other layer-2 networks that already exist. And we saw how the total value  locked (TVL) on most of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) platforms on this chain really grow.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: October 26, 2023, 03:19:25 AM
3) Checking the community of the project on social media. If there are lot of bot replies or comments on their posts in social media like Twitter, there is strong chance that the coin price is being manipulated.
For me, this is the most important because there are a lot of projects that are fake, like whitepapers are fake, their social media or websites are fake, and followers are fake.
Also, check the community because some could be fake, try to google also, and search some keywords. And verify also their team if they are legit because some projects are using fake names or names that are famous without really them knowing.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on growth on: October 26, 2023, 03:11:05 AM
Hi all. How to buy more when growing? Today we are growing, but I don’t want to buy. Share your experience in this matter.
It's not advisable to buy when the price is already increasing but it depends on you if you can bear the risk. Just conduct a research what coins you would like to include in your portfolio. Then wait if you made the right decision of buying when it is already rising since correction can happen at anytime.
(....)
It really depends, we can also relate this to "not all bottom or dumping are good to buy". For me, I am a person who will be buying in confirmation of what we have right now compared to catching bottoms or buying the dips because I can guarantee the momentum and there's a lot of chance it will continue in that direction.
638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Delisted/Inactive Coins from Exchange on: October 26, 2023, 01:25:23 AM

As you can see there are tokens or a number of pairs from exchanges that have already been delisted or become inactive.

I'm really curious if there will be an effect of it in our current trading journey or in the market.
It's kinda showing that the more we are in a bear market year, the more pairs are being delisted.
What are your thoughts?
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: chainlink price prediction on: October 26, 2023, 01:18:42 AM
What I really like about Chainlink is they are the original oracle of the crypto project. And as you can see there are already a lot of projects that tried to be a "chainlink killer" but failed. I can relate Chainlink with Ethereum about them trying to beat Ethereum but in the end no chance at all.
So for me, I will always go to the original or OG projects.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much could you earn in a day ? on: October 25, 2023, 11:52:12 PM
(....)
1. Is it possible to make 1% on a trade within a short time frame as in a few hours or a day ? Would that also inturn mean that you would make 10% on futures with a 10x leverage? I would like to elaborate more on this i just simply dont know where to begin. It would be nice if i could have a conversation with someone who has experience on the matter.
(....)
It is possible but just expect there are some days that are not good, so be careful, expect the unexpected. 1% profit in a day or hours is already good because if you sum it up and make it consistent you can be a profitable trade by just that.
So just focus and be consistent, proper risk management because expect that you will have some losses on some days.
