1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why retail dont like xrp ? Are you xrp army ?what about garlinghouse on: January 12, 2023, 12:31:03 AM
If garlinghouse Will be the next Will the xrp Will fall and how low it Will fall ?
I see a lot Xrp fud is this fud have any serious reasons or is just retail traders are afraid of xrp now.
(...)
There are already a lot of issues on Ripple (XRP) even before, no doubt this accusation is already here.
I am still amazed why Ripple (XRP) is still on the top list by market cap even a lot of issues already. Ripple (XRP) already lost -90% from its all-time high now while Ethereum (ETH) is already around -70%.

Some retail investors for sure already lost a lot of their money by buying Ripple (XRP) instead of Bitcoin or other altcoins like Ethereum.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 12, 2023, 12:22:42 AM
(.........)
Who is accumulating and how much are you hoping to add to your stash this year?
This year is the biggest year for me to accumulate more Bitcoin, because of a lot of reasons just like the upcoming Bitcoin block halving is next year.
I'm doubling or more on what I have right now of my current cryptocurrency portfolio that I started to accumulate in 2018. The goal is to accumulate more Bitcoin for long term.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Amazon Web Service (AWS) partners with Avalanche to scale blockchain on: January 11, 2023, 11:55:11 PM
After Google Cloud announced before that they already running a validator for Solana last November 2022.
Now Amazon Web Service (AWS) announced, that they are in partnership with Avalanche.

Seems a lot of other huge non-cryptocurrency platforms are now starting to line up with some cryptocurrency projects and most of the goals are to scale their respective blockchain networks.

Any comments? Good or bad?

Read more about AWS - Avalanche here and Solana - Google Cloud here.
1604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto selling method on exchanges on: January 11, 2023, 11:23:50 PM
So, what do you prefer, to sell your coins instantly for less or to open an order and profit a slight better margin, reaching the general market's prices rates?
Depends on your goal, if you have a specific price where you want to sell your coins then use the limit order, set the price where you want to trigger the order, and set also the selling price.
Or you can immediately sell your all your buy using market order it will be sold at the current price. For me, I always use market order when I am selling some of my coins if I needed the funds immediately.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SBF released, Will Solana ($SOL) come back? on: January 09, 2023, 02:13:46 AM
So i think there are 2 scenarios,
1st, $SOL will come back, as SBF will find a way how to make it "pump" again. We know $SOL price has been dropped -95% from ATH
(....)
For me, it's now nothing to do with Sam Bankman-Fried after all. It just sucks that the major backer of Solana is the fraudster, FTX Exchange/Alameda or in short, Sam Bankman-Fried.
We all know that Solana is one of the best L1 alternatives for Ethereum before and became a big player/gainer during the last bull market but after that, Solana also became the big loser after all plus this issue on FTX.
For me, Solana will continue with or without Sam Bankman Fried, it's just good that Solana right now is still here.
1606  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who thinks DCG / Genesis / Grayscale / Barry are bad actors? on: January 09, 2023, 02:11:21 AM
(.....)
I am not so sure what to think. I know that Zhusu can't be fully trusted after what he did however why would he be making this stuff up? Also it doesn't help since he is saying all of this after its too late.
I think what Zhusu is doing right now is exposing all these crypto actors that became big players on the market right now, especially DCG and FTX.
Zhusu connected all the dots here starting from the Luna fall, which for me, Luna case was the trigger point before which Three Arrows Capital also started when Luna popped. Now Zhusu is starting to gain the trust of everyone again after what happened but it's already difficult for me.

What happening right now is best example of not trusting anybody on the cryptocurrency, look how lot of people admire Sam Bankman-fried but look at now.
1607  Economy / Speculation / Re: January bitcoin price out look on: January 09, 2023, 02:07:24 AM
(....)
The question now is with the current bitcoin price outlook what is the possible bitcoin January price outlook you can speculate on based on your personal market analyses?
For me, Bitcoin will stay on this level right now. Not higher that $20,000 and not less than $15,000.
This is a good start to the year 2023, where Bitcoin breached above $17,000 already but my bearish vision for Bitcoin is still there. I believe we will do more sideways and not really good if you are trading to these level right now.
1608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor and Bitcoin or Michael Saylor and altcoin? on: January 09, 2023, 01:56:20 AM
In any case, the argument made is maybe Michael Saylor would have made a better investment if he invested in altcoins, Defi or NFT instead of bitcoin. It appears this article shows that the argument might be correct.
Better investments in terms of BTC value? Because, only ETH/BTC pair is trading stable through out 2022 like around the value of 0.07BTC with low at 0.048BTC whereas ETH/USDT pair is trading exact similar to BTC/USDT like in Jan 2021 it was around $900 and hit ATH around $4800 in Nov 2021 and trading around $1200 right now.
(....)
It's became almost the same stable also once the market started to tank.
Also when we talk about all-time highs of these both assets, they are almost the same and  Ethereum got higher losses from the peak versus Bitcoin.
So if you are thinking about good or much better ROI if we start buying Ethereum, then both of them will go back to their all-time high, then we got more ROI to Ethereum.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basically All Small Cap Staking Coins Had this problem on: January 09, 2023, 01:48:23 AM
There were not enough people who cared about keeping the project alive.  Few involved had enough deep pockets for that, and they selfishly out of need for paying their bills, crashed the price.  There needed to be things like airdrops and public education and they were too naive to understand concepts like that.
(....)
This is one of many reasons why investing too much in low market caps is risky; their market cap. But there are also some people who are fans of hunting gems, and most of their targets are projects with small marketcap.
And you will also notice that most of these projects are only good at the beginning, so the hype is lot on early days but later on, they started to fade and slowly losing and become scam.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The level on impact of FTX crash on Your portfolio? on: January 09, 2023, 01:43:13 AM
1: What is the impact of FTX bankruptcy sega on your
    altcoin portfolio?
(.....)
For me, it was tough and the worst experience ever because at first, I thought I was already safe of the recent dump we experienced last year like when Luna started, that's the time most of my altcoins are already converted to stable coin and FTX is the cryptocurrency exchange that I trusted for my stablecoins and I staked my stablecoins just to earn some small interest but shit happens.
1611  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't feel comfortable with crypto exchange on: January 09, 2023, 01:41:03 AM
(...)
This should be enough reason why people shouldn't store  bitcoin on exchange wallet.
In short, don't treat cryptocurrency exchanges as personal wallets, this is what a lot of people practice right now.
They also have reasons why they are doing it, best example is easy to access and convenient, because by just need an email address only.
And the worst part is they don't know the down side or negative effect when using exchange for what they want, there's a change that they will lose their cryptocurrency.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Example of Not your Keys Not your coins on: January 09, 2023, 01:16:03 AM
Look how exchanges are scamming us. Most often we create account at exchanges and never care to read the terms and conditions and blindly click on "I agree" button.
It seems like the story of scams by the exchanges will never end and every day we hear about a new case and we see new people losing their hard-handed money just because they hold their bitcoins on the exchanges, and this case is just another example of this old story of not your keys, not your coins, Also regarding the agree button mostly people will just click on it without of even read whole text even if the agreement is about how the exchange is going to react in these situations I hope people pay attention to the agreement before passing it because that's just like singing an agreement in the real world.
This is also tough for everybody, especially for traders. Using cryptocurrency exchanges seems also become important for every people that use cryptocurrency.
So for me, this also kind of issue in the future will still exist. This is also given for all the cryptocurrency exchanges at all, it's not only about the term of services per cryptocurrency exchange because in most exchanges once you already deposited your Bitcoin, but you have also already given them access to your Bitcoin.
1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Education on: January 08, 2023, 03:23:29 PM
The two people who have helped me understand the rabbit hole more are Andreas Antonopoulos (@aantonop) and Matthew Kratter (@TraderUniversity).
(....)
Andreas Antonopoulos is the best example for me if you want to learn more about Bitcoin, and also if you take a look at Youtube videos by Andreas Antonopoulos and his books, it's all free.
Another thing I can share, Andreas Antonopoulos is the OG of Bitcoin. Before this guy is already speaking about Bitcoin and there were few people listening to him, this is before when Bitcoin is still cheap and not popular, but this guy still continued.
1614  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best crypto news is here on: January 08, 2023, 03:18:43 PM
Many websites posts analysis from any trader and other shit ,
is there any crypto news sites which keep us up to date , site maybe small or big
(....)
Most news websites that are about cryptocurrency are almost the same. And if you are talking about charts, like more on technical analysis are more on speculation, so for me, it's normal for this.
Another thing is if you are active on Twitter, there are some twitter accounts that are worth to follow but at the same time, on Twitter, there are lot of fake news to and shits, so becareful.
1615  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 08, 2023, 01:56:19 PM
(....)
Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?
For me, it's both. Trading is a very difficult and risky job because it needed real money before you can start.
If you afford losses, make sure you always have extra funds so you can continue trading and that's the part you can say learn from your mistakes which are considered as learning from losses.
At the same time, on every wins also, I believe you also got some lessons here and you will apply to your next trade.
1616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 06, 2023, 01:52:33 AM
I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.
(....)
Always think that it doesn't mean that coins are dumped, they will go pump again or immediately. There are a lot of traders around the world with different strategies.
Take note that you need to be aware that the value of cryptocurrencies can fluctuate significantly and there is no guarantee that you will be able to sell your coins for a profit sometimes.
This is not how easy to trade.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 06, 2023, 01:48:52 AM
As of now, it seems the BONK started to be dumped already. I'm glad I already sold most of my BONK around 24 hours ago.
There is a lot of hype going on about this so-called "dog coin" when I first heard it, it came to my mind this is another hype and pump and dump, it will pump and then dump immediately.

Some people relating this to shiba inu but for me, they came on the wrong time of the market, we are experiencing bear market or winter right now and I don't think so it's the best time for this.
1618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Demand Bitcoin as Ransom in Romania on: January 06, 2023, 01:45:39 AM
I feel very pity for the hacker because its target is the hospital and there are a lot of people who are admitted to this hospital and these people's life may be in danger once some things will turn bad during the negotiation.
Another thing is for Bitcoin, by doing this, Bitcoin is becoming dirty because these people are using Bitcoin. This is one of the examples of why some people think that Bitcoin is a fraud because it is being used by criminals.
1619  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what price would you sell? on: January 06, 2023, 01:41:16 AM
(....)
Hopefully by this point I will have close to 1 full Bitcoin and the price will be at least $250k which would then be worth selling to me.
Are you gonna sell all your Bitcoins at some point when the price of Bitcoin will reach your target price?
Because for me, Bitcoin became my emergency funds and the same time investment because I can easily sell some of my Bitcoins if I needed some funds personally.
For me, I will see only a portion of my Bitcoin because forever I will hold Bitcoin, a big or small amount. If I will buy Bitcoin now, a portion of it will be sold at first when it hits the 6 digits price of Bitcoin.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify next bitcoin or FANG on: January 05, 2023, 01:42:31 AM
Even in the year when you first know about Bitcoin there is still a lot of news or people who think Bitcoin is a scam, Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, Bitcoin is MLM, Bitcoin is a bubble and so on, and of the many people who know Bitcoin from the very beginning, it is very likely that only a few percent can see this great opportunity from Bitcoin and start to invest and hold for long term.
(....)
Exactly. No one expected Bitcoin will become what it states right now. For me, this is given, no one knows before what will be the future of Bitcoin and even now, we are all just speculating.
Another thing for OP is, even if I will say to you that there will no next Bitcoin anymore, you may not believe it.
But for me, there are more lot of chances that a lot of the next FANGs or other cryptocurrency projects will have a good ROI in the future.
