641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zugacoin vs bitcoin. on: December 04, 2023, 09:21:08 PM
I have come to the conclusion that no matter what happens, bitcoin still remain the father of Crypto currency. As at the year 2021 zugacoin was the most expensive coin in the history of Crypto currency, which worth beyond the price of bitcoin at about $285,677 clamouring for $450k then. I was thinking that how possible is it that a coin could be over expensive compeard to the first Crypto currency? But today I went to check if the price of zuga has met it target, but only to discover that it's just worth noting less than $1 at about $0.157 this made me believe that bitcoin still remain the Head.

So what do you guys think was the cause of suden dip of zugacoin?
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zugacoin/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwi4yLKF5eWCAxXVWEEAHVMjAbsQFnoECAcQAg&usg=AOvVaw2n-vhuwGX1HVeNEDuyzyga

It's volume based.  Meaning if no one was buying it someone could buy a fraction of a coin to represent an insane value.  Like buying .0000001 zugacoin for $10.  If no one else is buying then the price per coin will look insane.  Unless there is true volume behind a coin never just merely looking at coin price as an indicator of its value.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 04, 2023, 09:18:36 PM
Only 2 games tonight but they’re both televised on TNT. The Kings and Pelicans matchup might be a good game to watch if you can tear yourself away from watching a Bitcoin ticker.

With these being in season touny quarterfinals I expect both games tonight and tomorrow to be good.  Should have a playoff type feel to them I'm actually looking forward to the Celtics Pacers game.  With how fast paced and high scoring this game could end up being crazy.   I got Pelicans and Pacers taking tonight's games.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 04, 2023, 09:16:17 PM
I believe each one of us have different experience.  While others are getting hard time in triggering bonus other can easily hit them with just a few spin.  As for Hacksaw I believe it is designed for bonus buy, it is also labeled high to extreme volatility slots so it is understandable that triggers might be difficult on this one, about waszdan, I never played any game from that slots provider so I can't say any experience about that slots.

Anyway if we continue discussing about worst slot, prbably we may list them all since as I stated, different user, different experience and even though many like NoLimit City, I find it worst slots to trigger bonus stage.  The game from this provider often gives their player 0x when they are unlucky.  Grin

Agreed.  If you perennially lose somewhere you will just say they are the worst when in reality your "luck" was the worst at those sites.  I think a better way to attack this is customer service wise are there any casinos you would avoid because you got taken, whether they cheated you out of winnings, locked your account, etc.  Worst casino odds is subjective unless you are talking real audits.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 06:55:55 PM
Would have, could have, should have. I get it in that you could have won more but I reality if you were betting more money you might have altered your entire bet to go even safer and you would have missed out on any winnings at all.  You can never tell what would have happened to something that didn't.  Be glad you won and move on.

Why am I the one whom ALWAYS has the most injuries in fantasy football. I swear to god every single year I lose key players more so than anyone else. Rhamondre Stevenson looks hurt badly. Prob season ender. I swear to god man smh. Dude had 7pts in the first quarter and was primed for a huge day.

What is everyone's assessment on the Bengals vs. the Jaguars? I am very much aware that the Bengals are nothing without Joe Burrow, however, can the Jaguars win against the spread with 9.5 in this game? Bengals +9 might cover, I reckon.

Also, the Lions -4.5? This might be a good opportunity to for them to come back and win after their loss against the Packers.

I think they could definitely cover this spread. Jacksonville has been playing well lately and could def see them beating that spread.

Yeah you've had a pretty bad run but this year seems like it has been bad all the way around.  I got screwd pretty hard in all my leagues this year.  Don't think a top 2 pick in any of my leagues has made it out unscathed.  Next year I'm switching up my draft a little.  Just gonna draft an entire teams full set of running backs or wide receivers lol.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 03, 2023, 10:22:59 PM
Here are the results for my picks for the NBA games yesterday,

Chicago Bulls (2.27) VS New Orleans Pelicans (1.67) - LOST

It was a close game and it was actually a back-and-forth game but eventually, the New Orleans Pelican was leading at the end of halftime because of Herb Jones, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram they managed this, but for sure the Chicago Bulls didn't allow this and eventually got their rhythm with Ayo Dosunmu, Torrey Craig, DeMar DeRozan, and Coby White getting this game a win for them, and a lost for my bet,

Milwaukee Bucks (1.41) VS Atlanta Hawks (3.00) - WIN

It was a close game as well until the end of halftime and the Milwaukee Bucks got the 4-point lead until they Milwaukee Bucks didn't let it slip in the 4th quarter actually an amazing performance for Saddiq Bey, Dejounter Murray, and Trae Young for the Hawks and keeping the score close, but eventually the Milwaukee Bucks with Malik Beasley, Cameron Payne, and Damian Lillard's play makes have eventually gained the momentum and Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-double,

Dallas Mavericks (2.39) VS Oklahoma City Thunders (1.61) - WIN

Close game for the Oklahoma City Thunders and the OKC got a lead in the 1st half closing the halftime with 72 points OKC and 56 Mavericks, but the Dallas Mavericks cut the lead to nothing in the 4th quarter, but the Oklahoma City Thunders managed to take the close win against the Mavericks and Luca Doncic's incredible triple-double performance, but the OKC manage to win this with 6 points lead,

Los Angeles Lakers (1.52) VS Houston Rockets (2.60) - WIN

Nice couple of wins there.  Crazy that Dallas went on a 30-0 run and couldn't win the game.  Think it was one of the longest runs without winning the game in history. Lula was a beast.  Looking at the games ahead for the playin tourny and can't decide.  I think I have to lay on the Knicks as a Homer bet but can't decide on the others yet.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 01, 2023, 08:33:07 PM
It's impossible to Guage the bottom so if you don't want to miss out but don't want to buy too high than dollar cost average weekly or monthly.  So instead of going all in buy some now and some later.  That way ypu don't miss a pump completely but don't have the downside risk of your full bag if it drops.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: December 01, 2023, 08:31:05 PM
There is no such luck that one person has over another it's mere coincidence on random based games.  Some people win more than other people but that is just the way it goes, it's not all the time.  Gambling isn't just for the lucky and rich its for anyone who uses it as a form of entertainment which I do.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: December 01, 2023, 08:24:18 PM
Psychic betting is placing bets based on the prediction of individuals or even animals because of the belief that they possess supernatural power to accurately determine the outcome of a bet. There is the true story of Fatih Ozcan[1] who helped his boss Hayati Kucukkoylu to win a $1.7 million lottery through the power of dreams. He claimed that he received the revelation about the Euro Millions tickets from his dreams. There is also Paul the Psychic Octopus [2] who is known to predict international football games correctly. He even predicted correctly that Spain would win the  2010 FIFA World Cup. Some persons also believe in the gambling predictions of religious leaders [3] to place bets. Some people believe that lunatics are possessed by some supernatural powers so they also depend on them for predictions.

Do you take these Psychic predictions seriously?

Nope.  You can have a 1,000 psychics and there is a good chance no one can tell you the exact score of say the superbowl.  Just like with crypto there is too much scammery in that world.  Use science, stats and trends not a person with a crystal ball with no vested interest in the outcome of your gambling.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 01, 2023, 08:22:02 PM
I mean technically you can make anything a "full time profession".  If you are single it's less risky but if you have a family, I would ride or die on gambling to support your family.  What happens if ypu go bust?  Now other people have to suffer from you choice of not getting a continual paying job.  Leave gambling for fun.  If you make a ton of money doing it, count it as a bonus.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 30, 2023, 08:36:41 PM

1-2 again! Bringing my 24 day total to 37-35 need a big night tonight.  Got 3 games in my scope need a 3-0 sweep to get some clearance:

Suns -3.5 on the road.  They are hot and this seems like they should easily win this one.

Denver -8.  They need a win.  Missed the in season tourny and think they take it out on tonight's game.  Got a double digit blowout incoming

Kings +1.5 yes it was an exhausting game last night but I think the clips have huge issues.  Kings win and Clippers flounder again.

Good luck tonight everyone!

I'm starting to hit equilibrium I'm on a tough slide another 1-2 night bringing my 25 day total to 38-37.  Time to pick it up.  Tonight here are my 3 I'm rolling with:

Pacers on the road -2.5 they are dangerous anytime Haliburton is playing.

Knicks -14.5 Detroi stinks and knicks with the best scoring defense in the league might keep them under 100

Bucks -8.5 I know it's on the road but Chicago is struggling and feel there is something going on over there.  Bucks shoukd beat them rather easily.

Good luck tonight everyone!
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: November 30, 2023, 08:32:44 PM
I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?

Great question and unsure if there is any real way to find out.  I guess there are probably anonymous polls of net income vs the different gamblers.  But I wouldn't say I high volume of people gamble because they don't have enough money.  Most do it for 3 things, addiction, entertainment and the social aspect of gambling. People like being involved in social circles and the easiest way to be in one is to do what other people are gambling on.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 30, 2023, 08:30:21 PM
What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

I'd say it's a lot higher, and even more when you include all of crypto like altcoins and nfts.  I mean essentially with how volatile those are you can say it's actually a form of gambling so that 100% of people that "invest" are gambling.  Either way I'd say it's way higher than the 20-30% range even if you don't consider crypto gambling.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 30, 2023, 08:28:26 PM
Ok guys I changed the poll. Our new question is first team to get 20 wins. Which team do you think will achieve it?

Right now Celtics is leading with 14 wins, they only need 6 more. Magic and Bucks from the East, Timberwolves and Nuggets in the West have 13 wins each. Very close race is going on right now.

I haven't look ahead at everyone in the lists schedule going forward, of course that would be the best way to go about deciding your answer for this question, but I would lean Boston not only because they have the most wins currently, but also because I just feel that they might be the most well rounded team in the NBA right now.

I like the Buck chances probably second most.

I'm of the same thought process.  I'd take the Celtics right now.  Just comparatively speaking they are more dominant and I'd like to see orlando run this good for at least a whole season before we start saying they are a "top team" .  They've gotten off to a good run so far.  And the west is too tricky, not sure who pulls away there but if I had to pick a second it would be Denver.  Jomic is just different and can win by himself as long as he is healthy.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: November 30, 2023, 08:25:44 PM
Between drugs and gambling, which one do you think is more addicting than the other? I have a good reason for asking this question, because there is something I saw not too long and I am doubting if anyone have seen the same thing, I am from a place where crack heads ( drugs addicts ) and also gambling addicts are all around, here is what I've seen.

I have seen crack heads more than responsible with there cash, than gambling addicts, this is what make me to ask you guys this question, drug junks are more responsible than gamblers, I have seen a gambling addict who spend 200 grand in under one and half hour on gambling, I've never seen a crack head done such before, not even on drugs.

I have seen a crack head who changed and when we had some chats he thank God in front of me, saying he is thankful that is addiction was on drugs and not gambling, he sounds so scary of getting addicted to gambling as he confirmed that gambling seems so much harder to quit.

He went on and say something about his friend who use 15 years on gambling and the friend isn't really sure how he will stop and the friend said that if he didn't stop it will kill him sooner or later, like he knew the danger lurking but he doesn't know how to stop, he isn't sure he will get better. The friend started telling him how the world will be better off without him, that's when they started locking him up, and the battle to change him when on for four years straight before he died from strange illness.

I was so scared with this story and It affected me for a while, I stopped gambling for a week because of what I heard from this man, his appearance is that of someone you won't want to listen to but what he went through is so eye opening that if other addicted gamblers hear from him it could change them, gambling addiction is really scary.

You are looking at it wrong.  Not trying to classify but I've never met a rich non risky "crackhead" so no way to know what they'd do with $200k.  The next is the health aspect, ypu can literally die one night from a Crack binge, not so much from gambling.  Is it more or less addicting I'd say that's on the individual.  No way to know collectively which one is worse.  I've seen recovering addicts succeed from both of them.  But if I hate to pick I would be smoking on a Crack pipe that's for sure.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BABY SHARK INU - x100 on: November 29, 2023, 11:57:44 PM
These types of coins need to go away forever.  Pointless and serve no purpose other than enriching a very small few.  There are zillions of these meme coins and they are all the same.  Don't support them and they will soon go away and that money can start flowing back into worthwhile projects.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 29, 2023, 11:56:18 PM
Its all dependent on your actual income vs expenses it has nothing to do with a certain percentage.  For a billionaire losing 1% or $10million it might not change their day one bit.  But for someone who loses $1,000 and males 100,000 a year with a family and massive amount of expenses.  That $1,000 might be gbling away a car payment or a mortgage payment.  2 different things.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 11:54:16 PM
Well of course there are always these types of wins.  It's like the lottery.  Mass amount of people lose and one person wins and someone always comes out and says "see it can happen".  Point is most everytime you lose these and will go broke before you ever hit one of these massive wins.  Amd even worse this type of win to the wrong gambler will do more harm than good.

Not really embarrassing. The Kings have been playing great basketball since last year and they continue to prove it this year, and the Warriors on the other hand really kinda suck early this season, especially Klay who seems to have lost his impact to his team.
Let's see if they could turn the table around and improve eventually.
It's also good to see for both of this team face in the playoffs again.
Sometimes I wonder how the Kings have matured and improved these days.
The result of the game against the Warriors was an excellent answer to prove this.
Maybe the Kings don't have the same level of experience as the Warriors, but I have no doubt that Sacramento will improve and in the future, they are a young team with great potential.

I also confess that it would be very interesting to watch the Kings x Warriors face each other again in the playoffs.

It would be but really the Warriors beat themselves.  Sacramento shot 20 free throws in the third quarter AND they had 20 turnovers in the game.  On the road and they still only lost bull a last minute bucket.  Not taking anything away from Sacramento but they shoukd have blown out the Warriors last night.  In the playoffs that's not gonna fly.
