641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Join this list to make $100k with us on: September 05, 2020, 12:57:54 PM
I am part-time trader making £200 / $260 a day. I have some friends in London and we all worked in a trader position
at some point. Some of us at companies like Maverick Fx, others at British Petroleum (BP).

You cannot just tell us that ""Hey I'm a successful trader wanna join me?"" like some Prophet had been popped out from nowhere. It's like saying ""I'm the messiah come join me!"" in this world full of hell. Better indicate evidences that could prove us that you are indeed a sucessful trader yet you must indicate your own identity for us to trust such newbie. Though if you aren't really soliciting money bur rather just wanted to help people, better establish here your past trades so that even I myself would join!
642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Legit trading courses on: September 05, 2020, 11:43:57 AM
I'm new to the whole crypto world and i've been fascinated by trading in this sector. I would love to find a good program that can help me learn and avoid painful mistakes, but im finding it quite hard to figure out which ones are real and which ones are scams!
For now the two one that sound legit are the course from tradercobbs by craig cobb and Blockchain education which is highly promoted by crypto oracle.
I was wondering if anyone knows if they are legit and in case have any advice's on good courses!

I would suggest that you would download the app called: Varsity

I've recently created a thread about it but it was on Filipino (in our Local Board). Its context was built with the bilingual language (mixed Tagalog and English), and I hope you could still understand what I'm saying there:
Varsity App for learning Stock Trading
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261541.msg54773757#msg54773757

Short explanation: that app helped me understand everything about trading. It doesn't focus on making you master only crypto trading, but trading in general. It also includes lessons about risk management, and even chart reading. So better check it out!

Also, this must be on Trading Discussion. But as a newbie, I think it's fine to this thread be residing in the Beginners and Help..
643  Other / Meta / Re: Top-50 most merit-earned topics each year (2018 - 2020) on: September 05, 2020, 11:02:04 AM
Can you also make the top 50 most merited topics per month among those years? In that way, we can think of what ideas are worth to be have merits and of course a way to learn things that could make us helpful as well. Also, it will let us see which topics per month are trending. Just suggesting.

Would it also be fun if such topics would have a chart in which is which gained the most among every topics created per month? I mean, statistical are useful to evaluate so many things here in the forum. Hoping to make one as well. If ever that such data would be made, I am personally willing to make a chart out of it, or I'll rather make some Infographics out of it.
644  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Security] Be Careful About Downloading Fake Wallet Apps on: September 05, 2020, 09:17:09 AM

645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Serie A Thread 2020 - 2021 on: September 05, 2020, 08:51:14 AM
Would this be aired online? I'm planning to watch this as the pandemic is so boring that all I know to watch is NBA. Also, why create a new thread while there was already a prediction thread made by swogerino? Though it's obvious that the main OP of the prediction thread isn't active for the last 9months, it doesn't mean that his prediction thread is dead. Many are still following it. I see no wrong in here, I just doubt the reason.

Hoping for a link. Also, is the announcer and the main broadcaster's language is english? It would be hard to understand if the live video is pure italian talking. Grin
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: September 04, 2020, 03:23:20 PM
if we will not analysis this situation
then it might be possible that in near future
we have to spent more BTC to buy only "Single PIZZA"

Need Healthy Discussion......

If  you aren't active nor having discussion in your daily basis here in the Bitcoin Discussion board, then you are the unhealthy one. Those kind of queries and topics are too cliche and had been opened for so many time and the answer is just the same as well. It's just funny and ironic why you are endorsing your old Sr.Member acocunt at the end of your thread - an account that hasn't been active for two years whom created such posts that aren't even useful and extremely cliche topics (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=352185;sa=showPosts)..

Same answer: if you are really onto bitcoin, then you should have no doubt in it and take this price decrease as its normal flow. It only increased recenlty due to the whales and the hype of many newbie investors.
647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even Google engineers are not in sync with regards to its privacy control on: September 04, 2020, 02:19:50 PM
I put it here to that newbies to as much as stay away with Google and it's G-products. And who would forget this, Google accused of secretly feeding personal data to advertisers.

So if you have a privacy concerns, then if you can, used other options.

This isn't really related to crypto and how to help beginners in general, hence this fits off on the Off-Topic Board.

But then, it's really common nowadays that there are no privacy. You kept using this device made by Huawei, you are using this Apple device, or you are using Google products. Nothing are different. Most of the companies nowadays, even Facebook and their data issue recently, there's no such thing as private life. Most tech companies especially Google only wants to make things/life easier for its users. Hence, even the slightest and most private data they can have and can use for their system's functionality, they'll really get it as long as they found it useful (lol nothing is useless for them). Therefore, privacy is near to be impossible nowadays.

649  Economy / Gambling / Re: bet.io domain for sale on: September 04, 2020, 12:13:18 PM
Are you looking for the perfect domain to go along with your new site. bet.io is for sale. Domain has been registered for many years but only been used for personal projects so its a clean domain. Starting bid is 7 BTC. Email bid to bid@bet.io. Cheers.

Not to hate but 7btc is a huge price and amount for a domain. Take note that .io domain name listing costs only approx 30$ (based on the pricing of Namecheap - https://www.namecheap.com/domains/registration/cctld/io/). Though that was already had a good past (if it was used by other companies already), then the price must not increase that up high. Even if you made it to the Auction board, you would find it difficult finding clients with your offering.
650  Other / Meta / Re: Should "Bitcoin Meetups" have child boards? on: September 04, 2020, 10:57:28 AM

I don't know how difficult it would be to moderate, there's probably a good reason it's not already that way. I'd like it if the section were actually usable though.

It wouldn't be difficult to moderate, but it wouldn't be necessary as well. One question to argue your suggestion is "would you want to know your identity and with your username in the forum?". This forum is made with pure anonymity and meeting such people that would know your real personal name and info would be a risk not only to your personal life but also to your identity per se and the account here in forum that you've worked hard for.

But have you also asked, why does off-topic board doesn't have it's own child board? If you answered on it, then it would be the same reason as for your suggestion.
651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware chipmixer.com is a Scam on: September 03, 2020, 07:39:34 AM
including maybe "fake chipmixer" websites.
Beside coboguard is using the real chipmixer url in his signature.,
and as another coincidence chipmixer.COM (Real address) has the same registar / same .IO registered extension as the scams by coboguard like bitwhisk.io

and in some (still same media: medium.com), we can see same kind of posts with the official chipmixer links (still hazard right?)

https://medium.com/@cryptoinvestor212/review-best-top-5-cryptocurrency-tumbler-reliable-bitcoin-mixer-2020-9577ac6ed932

Links: https://chipmixer.com/ < That is the official link no ?
http://chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion/   < That is the official link no ?

Why would you even trust a .onion website, with having a knowledge that it can be a phishing website and most likely a not secured one? Also, the word maybe simply justifies that you have no further nor valid evidences against coboguard nor with any issues you kept on insisting. Even reading those medium articles doesn't even justify your accusations and aren't enough. And by looking on all your posts, it seems that you don't even know what are you saying nor have any knowledge with the difference of domains and how can one be a scam/phishing site.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 03, 2020, 06:40:10 AM
It's not Crypto gambling that should be careful, it's the parents that should be careful.

Indeed, it wasn't the gambling platform's purpose and safety measures to assure that all of their customers are at legal age, and any platform wouldn't mind whom their customers are as long as they profit and their system is commendable, satisfying, and fun, among the other platforms.

eSports nowadays are congested with a lot of ages, from kids aged 9 upto adults aged 50+. It isn't a bad thing as eSports' advantages are more likely better compared to its negative cons. And there's no importance if either the parent or the platform limits a kid or any age in engaging such gambling activities, as it would only lessen their clients and of course their profit.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a cryptocurrency software developer? on: September 03, 2020, 05:38:26 AM
I'm curious about these because I'm thinking of dedicating myself to cryptocurrency software.

That's a hard task and a tough goal to have. But with enough dedication and of course passion, you'll be reaching your mastery in a year.

So first, better have an idea on basics of blockchain technology, then how it works, its advantages and disadvantages, up until you go to some intermediate to expert course in building a blockchain. But to succeed with that, you should also consider taking courses with programming, data management, networking and software development as well, and add some background ideas with trading and the market and how does it work. Yes, sounds too many to take, but like what I've said, it takes dedication and passion.

My suggestion would purely make you a Full-Stack developer once you've mastered all of those. But if you just want to make a simple crypto, blockchain and ERC20 system is enough, but I assure you that there would still be a lot of loopholes if you wouldn't take a consideration with other aspects that affects your crypto.
654  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best USA based Crypto Sportsbook? on: September 03, 2020, 02:33:29 AM
Thanks,  I should have specified that it doesn't have to be a usa based sportsbook, but one that openly accepts usa players.   appreciate the comment.

Well, if that's the case, then there are no listed nor existing online sportsbook that are exclusive for USA players only. The reasons are fairly simple and obvious, would they earn if they would implement a sportsbook website based in USA and exclusive on USA players only - despite the strict gambling and business regulations in the states? Take note that most sportsbook website only earn through ads and ads are most likely from other countries across the world, and in fact, most of those adds (specifically related to either sports, crypto, or money) aren't always based on USA. Hence, you wouldn't find one.
655  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware chipmixer.com is a Scam on: September 02, 2020, 04:49:02 PM
That is a non disputable proof that the service is a scam.

I don't know what makes you realize that chipmixer is a scam when you are the only one in the forum accusing it. For almost 4 years, the Chipmixer and it's signature campaign is far the longest running with the highest payrate among any other signature or project bounty programs ever existed in the forum. And to accuse such a legitimate mixer is just annoying, more likely a trash argument that even the higher ranks nor other users didn't even giving you @kbaptou an attention you've been seeking. I've read all your accusation and all of it was just useless and stupid. If you would to prove that chipmixer is a scam, better use your original account instead of hiding yourself making a newbie account for such reasoning. Even casdinyard in the other thread already mentioned enough yet you stood your shittiness for no reason.

Soon, you'll hear the Chipmixer participants' idea. better stop shit posting with non-sense arguments.
656  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to have a Corona virus sub-board? on: September 02, 2020, 01:49:34 PM
No needed, it should be moved to Off-topic section IMO.

Nah.. some of the COVID-19 related topics are having a correlation with either Bitcoin or with the cryptocurrency in general and most is about its effects, outcome, and affected changes in the crypto-world. Hence, moving such to off-topic isn't a fitting idea nor a better way than the OP's idea. But if the OP would pursue such board, then it would be on the Off-topic subsection if ever- as it generally started as a physical world problem yet only affected the crypto-world by the people it affected, and primarily having no connections with the crypto per se.
657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: September 02, 2020, 09:10:43 AM
"Is it still best time to invest now with the current market price? Or will wait for bitcoin market to crash? What do you think?

As for my own suggestion and idea, it is too bad to join the hype/whale of the Bitcoin now and buy it at its current price point. More importantly, there are no actual guarantee if it will reach the 13KUSD ceiling price this month or even at the end of the year. As what most would say, it depends on you whether you would hold it for years or wait for it to reach 20KUSD price point again or not. But if you would to take suggestions, better wait for another 8KUSD bitcoin price (which seems to be much possible than going up).
658  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Casino and Betting Advantages For Online Gamblers on: September 02, 2020, 08:27:16 AM
I found another interesting article, mainly for beginners, which tells that bitcoin gambling is constantly growing and the article lists the advantages of such platforms compared to traditional gambling houses.

You can read the articles here: https://blog.bc.game/bitcoin-casino-betting-advantages-online-gamblers/

They haven't included CONVENIENCY / EASE OF ACCESS (or did they included its idea on Device Compatibility?). Conveniency is I think the biggest advantage of Bitcoin casino, as you can access it easily by redirecting to a gambling platform, with any forms of device you have, whenever you like (I even gamble sometimes in the bathroom lol). Compared to traditional gambling - which requires transportation, a good attire, physical money, and many more, crypto gambling offers a hassle-free activities with superb satisfaction.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: August 31, 2020, 12:14:28 AM
Many people I know formed a bias that cryptocurrencies are inherently risky and you shouldn't invest in them more than you can afford to lose.

I agree with the above statement in a certain extent, but I'd like to ask the community. Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?

Well, being a financially literate person, this is quite right. Not because Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are risky, volatile, and a "balloon" like currency, but because investments and money saving must be separated depending on what purpose you want to use your money. But keep in mind that every money you have, you must always separate those on savings, insurances, investments, personal needs, and luxuries. Therefore, it is risky once you've put most of your money in either Bitcoin and crypto or any other investments/savings, as soon there would be probability that you might need it for events like emergency purposes.

Typical pinoys, masisisi ba natin sila?

If ever na makahanap kayo ng mga scam mostly ng pinoy, better inform them through social media and post a thread containing your socmed post para mashare and masupport namin. What if gumawa nalang tayo ng awareness page for crypto related scams sa pinas?
