641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK passes bill to enable authorities to seize Bitcoin used for crime on: October 27, 2023, 09:28:26 AM
I saw this today on Cointelegraph: https://cointelegraph.com/news/uk-bill-seize-bitcoin-passed

Who is seizing stolen and bitcoin used in illegal activities before in United Kingdom?.

Aliens?  Grin
They will probably seize bitcoins that is used in United Kingdom, that means that any UK citizen that will receive illegal coins will face jail. If illegal coins are sent outside of country, then UK can ask them for support. They will not have any power in Russia but in EU, America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand they will be able to seize coins and catch person. That's my speculation but can't imagine otherwise.
I think there will be many false alarms if they will reply on blockchain analysis companies.

643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: October 26, 2023, 08:19:07 PM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses
I had Bitsler's referral in my signature and successfully got some users registered on their casino but they were active for a short period of time, it's hard to retain them if casino doesn't offer free bitcoin faucet. Now I'm gonna try to promote freebitco.in, let's wait and see. Btw I wouldn't say that referral bonuses are a waste of time, many casinos even have employeed people especially for affiliate marketing, for example Fortunejack had one and probably still has.
Affiliate is not a waste of time but it is really hard if you don't have resources like famous website or youtube channel. Also, consider that many people will remove your affiliate code and then visit website to not get affiliated with you.

Is it really Funfair or FunToken? I'm confused.
It was called FunFair and then they changed their name and become FUNToken. Freebitco.in purchased this project in 2020.

On my side, I no longer think about whether I will profit from the tokens I bought back then. My only target goal at that time was to take advantage of the premium membership benefits of Freebitco.in. I expected that anything could happen, so I'm not too worried about the price of their token now.
I bought $3000 worth Funtokens when Freebitco acquired FUN project. There was a good promotion and since I trust this website, I thought their marketing team would make this coin more popular and more successful, it's freebitco.in after all, a website that every bitcoin enthusiast knows. Now, my 3000$ is roughly 300$, this loss doesn't outweigh the pros that I get from keeping them on their website. Btw I like this website, hope FUN will recover in the next bull run that will be after bitcoin halving.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost wallet or something like that on: October 24, 2023, 04:22:03 PM
I remember I had bitcoin account with password and some bitcoin in it.
Now that computer is lost long time ago, but I think I still know password and account name.
How can I get my coin back?
Or it is stored on device?
How can they be stored on device?
Do you had to login like this?

Maybe you should check this article

You can probably try to download many well trusted bitcoin wallet softwares and try your account credentials on each of them. I don't think there is other hope.
647  Economy / Collectibles / Would you buy Bitcoin rings? Bracelet and other jewelry? on: October 24, 2023, 11:30:16 AM
I hope it's correct board to poost but if it's not, then mods please don't remove my thread, at least for some days.

I make fitness jewelry and if there is an interest, I can design and manufacture Bitcoin jewelry too. To make things more clear, please see this work of mine:

If anyone here also loves fitness and bodybuilding, I can sell this jewelry to you. But since everyone here loves bitcoin, want to hear your honest opinion, would you buy something like this with bitcoin logo? If there is an interest, I can make this happen!
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can change lives on: October 24, 2023, 10:21:21 AM
Keeping records and history is a very important aspect in the crypto industry, as it helps us know the the event that took place in the past.

So many people, when you suggest investment in the crypto industry, they will tend to make excuses of market volatility and coin performance in 365 days without even doing there own research, what about some years back?

In 2010, one Bitcoin was just $0.20, and buying 5,000 Bitcoin would cost only $1000.
Compare that price as of then to today's price $27k plus,  you would be obviously filthy rich.

I hope that this open the eyes of most newbie's the potential of Bitcoin, if you are already in the Bitcoin market just be happy because this market have a lot more to offer,

The most simple but effective way I use to navigate my way in the market is the DCA method I use, accormulate as much Bitcoin as possible because the bull run will definitely change the history of your finances if you position your self right and wait patiently for the bull run to come .
If no one sells bitcoin and everyone holds, then no one will be able to use it, to spend it. In 2010, some sold it and some bought it, it was a great step from both sides to make bitcoin more active and more popular. Yes, there was a man who sold thousands of bitcoins for some pizzas, yes, he would be a billionaire if he hold them and didn't sell but he wrote history and he gave a push to active trading and usage of bitcoin. My opinion always is to actively use your coins, develop better crypto ecosystem and hold some part of it but don't hold like hen holds eggs.
649  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🤝Referral Program 2.0 | 💸Get $1 500 + 30% from Referrals on: October 24, 2023, 09:56:22 AM
Their wheel is indeed mediocre, but most free wheels on casinos are not really interesting (except for the WOF spins at freebitco.in).
Yes, I've never even gotten a good prize from spinning the Betfury wheel except at freebitcoin WOF, but because Betfury isn't really a site that gives crypto coins for free like freebitcoin and is clearly very different when comparing the two, so it's possible for us to rarely find one that gets big prizes from spinning their wheels and it's true that it looks ordinary and doesn't look interesting so I very rarely touch it when I gamble at Betfury.

It's possible that Betfury is just making it another way to attract users to continue gambling so that people don't leave when they lose, they can still get it from spinning the wheel, even though it's free, it might just be a waste of time. The only way to earn money there is to gamble and even then if you're lucky, personally I also prefer to spin the WOF wheel.  Grin
BetFury is casino, freebitco is faucet that tries to have some casino elements. Btw I have never gotten any good prize from freebitco.in's WOF. What this website does well is giving away free coins. I haven't logged in on my account for more than a year and returned here some weeks ago and started rolling free rolls. I collected up to 0.001 bitcoin in two weeks via Free Rols and via WOF, thanks to reward coins that I used to purchase WOF and then got some free satothis from WOF.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 01:33:45 PM
I came across a very interesting article about fake streamers https://www.ltccasino.com/fake-streamers-exposed

Some facts and arguments struck me as very curious. I had never really thought about why nowadays the Twitch and Kick platforms have become so full of people streaming online casinos there.

Having little experience playing at online casinos, I can't be sure that everything written in this article is true. What do you think about it?

It's very interesting to hear the opinion of experienced players and people who are versed in this subject.
Casinos hire streamers to gamble on their website and stream it. Usually, these fake streamers gamble with a lot of money that casino credits to them. Their duty is to express their emotions during gambling, to show anger when they lose and break keyboard and do some shit in order to make video go viral and collect many views. They have to be super happy and express happiness when they win. They have to look like real, genuine gamblers with genuine and heightened emotions.
Think about it, these streamers create their channel in order to earn money, otherwise they wouldn't create channel. So, they earn money from youtube streams, donations, merch and also earn wage from casinos for playing on their website. Their streams are usually done very professionally. Definitely all of these streamers are fake. Watch them only for fun, never believe to their winnings and loses, they sometimes fake it to attract new customers.

652  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner too choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 22, 2023, 08:47:12 PM
If you have Bitmain Antminer KS3 and you pay 0.20 cent/kilowatt, then your net profit will be $109.96 but if you have free electricity, your net profit will be $127.00. You see the difference? KS3 is a great choise for absolutely every person on the earth, so, it's price will increase and ROI will decrease .
vs
It's the worst decision to buy Kaspa miner right

Bruh!  Grin
You got it wrong my man. I took Kaspa as a miner that uses less energy and generates much profit right now and in this case, let's forget my old words and imagine that Kaspa is a new antminer created for bitcoin. This was only example to demonstrate that you can find a miner that can consume a lot electricity and generate tons of money for those who have free electricity and there you can find miner that can be so energy effective that those with free electricity and expensive electricity will generate the same profit. If someone has free electricity, they can not use that advantage by mining with energo effective miner.

I see it more like
1) Don't mine!
2) Ready for headache number 2, how much of that cheap energy you have, and how much money you have in your pocket
Today I wouldn't mine. It's a headache to buy miners from Bitmain, it's headache to send damaged miners back to bitmain and explain customs that they shouldn't ask you to pay tax again when you receive it. Mining is full of headache right now.  It doesn't worth anymore for individuals, it's only left for big corporations and for some mafia who has access to very cheap electricity and doesn't pay import taxes. One of them is BitFury in my country.
653  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner too choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 22, 2023, 05:43:21 PM
Kaspa mining is on the rise right now but it is hard to get their asic. I found one or two in my home country but it cost almost twice  Shocked I think because everyone has an eye on this product and also bitmain is making it too.
It's the worst decision to buy Kaspa miner right now because Kaspa mining market will become saturated very soon and many people will be left with useless gear. First come first served can be said on Kaspa miners. Btw I can't swear for this but I know that I wouldn't risk because of my past experience.

Recently, I was searching for the most profitable ASIC miner machines that mine SHA-256. I don't know which ASIC miner to choose to start Bitcoin mining. I found a website named https://www.asicminervalue.com/, which gives real-time mining hardware profitability. I don't know how accurate the information is. The most profitable Bitcoin miner I see is Bitmain Antminer S19 XP Hyd (255Th), which gives $0.31/day after the Electricity cost.

Most profitable....
It's not just that shiny number that matters it's the price per th and efficiency
S21 35 $/T,  16.0J/T
S19j Pro 21 $/T  23J/T

So let's say you have dirt cheap electricity 2 cents per kWh
S21Hydro, each TH brings you 6 cents, costs you 0.7 cents, profit 5.3 cents , 660 days to ROI
S19k, each TH brings you 6 cents, costs you 1.1 cents, profit 4.9 cents 428 days to ROI

you have 6 cents per kWh
S21Hydro, each TH brings you 6 cents, costs you 2.1 cents, profit 3.9 cents,  900 days to ROI
S19k, each TH brings you 6 cents, costs you 3.3 cents, profit 2.7 cents 780 days to ROI

you have 12 cents per kWh.....
S21 5 years to ROI
S19k is losing money the moment you plug it in

Halving in less than 200 days, see how muddy the waters are?
You have two options in mining:
1. If you don't have cheap electricity, buy a miner that consumes less energy and generates more money.
2. If you have access to cheap electricity, buy a miner that consumes as much energy as possible but also generates as much money as possible. Usually, you'll find miners that consume a lot of energy in cheap price.

According to whattomine, MicroBT Whatsminer M53S Hydro generates -$16.23 if your electricity price is 0.20 cent but it generates $16.23 if your electricity is free.
If you have Bitmain Antminer KS3 and you pay 0.20 cent/kilowatt, then your net profit will be $109.96 but if you have free electricity, your net profit will be $127.00. You see the difference? KS3 is a great choise for absolutely every person on the earth, so, it's price will increase and ROI will decrease but since MicroBT Whatsminer M53S Hydro consumes a lot of energy, no one wants it, so people try to get rid of it but there are people who have access to free electricity, so, it's a great option for them.

But since halving is in less than 200 days, I would be extra careful. You also have to consider when Bitmain announces new miners because that will have impact on miners market.

Is there any news about FunFair token? I bought it at 0.04$ in 2021 but today price is so low, does anyone know what went wrong? 10x reduction in price is a huge loss. I thought Freebitco had good plans on FunFair and was very serious when it purchased FUN project. I thought it was a great idea to invest in FUN but I was so wrong. Will it be a dead project or is freebitco going to do something for coin price to rise?
655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ? on: October 22, 2023, 03:22:21 PM
is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ?

as far as banks i noticed maximum 5 %

crypto exchanges upto 15 %   - but are they safe to put money there ? like nexo , kucoin ?
Nexo is a safe option to my mind. My friend uses it since 2019 and gets some 12% percentage or something like that anually on his deposits.
The safest option at the moment is long-term holding. You won't get fixed 10-15% annually but at the end of the day, when one, two, three, four or five years pass and you see your balance in USD values, you'll realize that you probably gained 300% or more profit on your old deposit that you were holding till that day.

It is easy to get 10-15% ANY return rate, but the problem is that you will get that percentage in the form of altcoin and the value of this token/coin may decrease, or you may not be able to withdraw it, or it requires a large capital that makes the risk of losing everything very possible.
Therefore, instead of looking for an easy, unguaranteed profit, it is better to learn trading, as it can easily enable you to achieve a good profit, or at least DCA, for Bitcoin during the next 24 months.
If someone thinks that certain altcoin will have a bull run and rise in future, then investments that Binance offers can be a good option because some of them have very high income. But this is not a safe way, so, let's forget this one.
Trading is not welding to go in school and learn. Trading is a combination of luck, intuition and experience but there is a hack, if you are just a fish in the ocean, you shouldn't stand in front of whales, just move along with them, behind their back and your trades will go well.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: October 21, 2023, 05:09:19 PM
anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?

if yes, how much was that amount? and what was the casino?

i seen many people complaining about they don't give big wins easily or just don't give by making unanswerable queries like very hard KYC, freezing accounts, etc. this problem is very common with trusted casino's also/

do anyone withdrawn successfully the winning amount and if yes what was the process, it was seamless or you need to pass a hard kyc?
I know people who have worked in casinos and I know from them that every casino requires kyc verification when someone wins big money and there are many reasons for that. First of all, casinos are afraid that probably one of their employee found a bug and is using that as an advantage. Employee has access on servers and the system that casino runs. So, employee can create many accounts, abuse promotions, abuse games with jackpots and earn a lot of money. By requesting KYC, they are minimizing this risk because if anything happens, they know who is the user who won the jackpot.
Secondly, government asks them to identify user who wins jackpot to avoid money laundering. Let's say that casino wants to launder money. They create a fake user, make this user to win jackpot and then they withdraw this money. It's super easy, that's why they are forced to use KYC in this situation.
657  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 20, 2023, 06:36:06 PM
So with that there's really nothing to worry about since the legitimate people who participate on their promotion will be called as a winner since roobet might do some verification to figure out if the winner is following their rule set or even to know if they are real users who truly gamble on their casino.
Yes, I also think they will never be able to pass the verification carried out by Roobet, even though there are many bot users who might be able to take advantage of the prizes provided by Roobet from promotions and other prizes, I don't think they will be able to easily get the prizes. easily and simply, I think playing honestly is the right way to take part in giveaway events or other promotions held by Roobet.

I think it's true that it's impossible for Roobet not to know about this problem, I'm sure they already know about bots and this problem so they might already have their own way of dealing with it so that irresponsible people like bots don't take advantage of it so that distribution can run fairly. and clean without any bots.
I don't know how Roobet promotions work but I remember bots were a problem in Bitsler's promotions years ago, don't know what happens today. Btw in order to participate in Roobet promotion, should user be KYC verified? Or anyone with registered account can participate in it? If anyone can participate, then I think it will be very difficult to get rid of massive bot floods but if they only let KYC verified users, then it will be very easy. I don't think someone will be able to manage to gamble with 100 KYC verified bots and then to be able to redo KYC verification again in case of winning main promotion.

660  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: October 19, 2023, 05:53:00 PM
Things has really changed unlike before when a graduate is coming out from the university their are job opportunities around the corners, people don't even stress themselves to acquire skills as an alternative just in case they don't get a job. Getting a job as a graduate some years back was a thing never to argue about or think about.  In this recent time things have really changed, expecting so much from the government as a graduate can lead people into serious problems.  The life we live now is so unpredictable, no one can be sure of practicing their desired career from what they have learnt in school.

I think if people really want to be happy in life, expecially undergraduates and young graduate they should learn not to give all expectations of having living job from the government.  If people create the mindset of being creative and productive in this era they will live a more happy life than putting all expectations of getting a dream job from the government.  A productive mindset is what young people needs to make life easy and worth living.
At the moment you talk like let's have a plan B in case your plan A can't work. In reality, why do I have to study plumbing if I go to the university and study Marketing? If I finish university with Marketing degree and start job as a plumber, that means that I wasted 4 years of studying for nothing. I think it's better to study one thing and try to find job in it or even do for free to gain experience and improve your skills in your niche. It's better to become master of one thing instead of middle level specialist of many things.
Btw it's never a good idea to choose super competitive specialties if you are not very talented individual.
