661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: May 15, 2022, 06:21:44 AM
During their press con, Haney said that he will take out Kambosos best attributes, so I don't know how he will do that.

And I agree, maybe this is just a strategy for Haney to misled George, showing his speed and his footwork but it maybe different when they square in the ring. So if that happens, we will see if Kambosos can adjust to what Haney will offer to him.

There is indeed a very high chance that Haney will use and have another strategy on the day of their fight because I'm not seeing any other purpose why Haney's camp shows his training in media other than boasting his speed but we know that Haney is not like that. So, I'm convinced that they are going to use some other tricks to make sure Kambosos will lose as they are misleading the opposite camp.

I cannot think of any new strategies for Haney. He will be there and will fight smart, hit and not get hit. This is the reason why he is the favorite in this fight. He is far more skillful than George Kambosos. I cannot imagine Devin Haney capable of hurting Kambosos. Although he seems to be the stronger ang muscular man, chances are he will not try to brawl with Kambosos. Haney's knockout ratio is a bit misleading because he never scored a knockout or correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen Hany scored a knock down or at least hurt a opponent since he was elevated as the WBC champion. Meanwhile, Kambosos knockout record is underrated, he was the one scoring knockdowns against former world champions Teofimo Lopez and Mickey Bey.

Bet now for Kambosos. Grin

Kambosos has been consistent on his fights. Haney will surely have a hard time beating Kambosos this time because he seems too prepared for this. Im not underestimating Haney but I think he needs to have a deep training on how to counter Kambosos' aggressiveness in the ring.

If Kambasos isn't fast enough, then it's hard to expect that he would catch Haney and hurt him. Haney is a defensive fight, he fights with timing, not so aggressive but he calculated his move unlike Lopez who's main strategy is to be aggressive all night, that's why Kambasos caught him with some good counter, this fight is going to be different.

Haney has better foot speed but probably the same hand speed or maybe a slight advantage on Haney. But Kambosos do have better combinations. This fight is happening in Australia. I expect a referee that allow fighters to work on the inside and this favors Kambosos. And close rounds will be given to Kambosos. Haney knows all of this so he might not fight a full defensive style at all. Probably he will try to control the fight by being aggressive but smart. But it will be hard to maintain as the aggressor throughout the fight because Kambosos is the warrior type and throws punches in bunches that will force Haney to backpedal.
That is really why I'm seeing this fight very interesting because both boxers have a good record and don't have a stain on their rapsheet. I won't deny that Kambosos have some good combinations hiding in his sleeves but Haney being an aggressive one? I really don't think so.

Haney may answer those combination punches from Kambosos with some counter or combination too, but he won't go for some styles that he ain't used to. He will still go back being defensive fighter and wait for some opening as he have the reach advantage. Also, he surely knows what to do because this fight will be held in Australia where his opponent Kambosos have some advantage. I'm thinking that he'll play smartly so that this scores won't reach on the judge's hand.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: May 15, 2022, 05:57:00 AM
Here's a interview from Rolly Romero (The Boxer Formally Known As Rolly):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyP--1wx_E4

This dude is very funny, but we will see if he can back up that trash talk, and knock out Tank Davis (I doubt it).

This kid is good and I have no doubts about his capabilities as well but so far, yes he defeated quite few boxers already but those said boxers aren't that known in the boxing community and now that he is up to Tank Davis whose record is much more prettier than his. I hope he can stood his ground well just like what he is saying, he may have some good height and style but compared to Davis? I don't think that this pretty boy could really pin down the Tank.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 14, 2022, 09:48:26 AM
An interesting debate but I think the point is a bit moot.

On one side, cockfighting is a disgusting gambling sport which has absolutely no reason for existing other than to satisfy primal urges of hurting small animals and deriving some sick pleasure from it.
If you are from the Philippines, you will definitely know how familiar is cockfighting in our country. This already exist many many years ago. It comes just to have online cockfighting due to the surge of Covid-19 but sadly, it was been noticed that it becomes addictive and it affects the lives of gamblers where many of them commit more debts just for the sake to have money to gamble which the President decides and urge to stop it.

Quote
On the other side, online cockfighting could be a digital, 3D metaverse thing. No animals hurt. Basically pokemon for gamblers. I don't know why real live animals fighting is so much more satisfying for some people. But I guess it attracts the scumbag crowd. The type that sells children, obviously.

It is not the issue, we play really cockfighting. What makes it stop is because it has already been the reason for the gambler's abduction, some got debts, and some got killed. The government never sees it good even they make a huge benefit from taxes.

This was the issue that brought down Terra Luna's price to something terrible and lost its credibility and trust.

Reports have emerged that a decentralized finance project called Wonderland is linked with a crypto criminal with ties to one of the industry’s largest scandals.

We can't blame investors to give up on Terra, of course, we could think it was not safe anymore. It is a need for the team to clarify that issue and even give a solution to it or else it won't recover back and continue to drop more.

This is what caught me...

Note: Learn To Earn.
Do learning today and start to earn by tomorrow. The majority and most of the newcomers neglected to prioritize this thing but instead jumped on actual trading because they think it was easy. That was a wrong mentality that we usually observe and then blame the market for their own mistakes. Apparently, they are making themselves terrible by underestimating the market.

We can't deny that losses will certainly happen to us as starters but have to correct this.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: May 03, 2022, 03:51:57 PM
Are we going to see a 2-0 score in the series tomorrow?

Please react guys if you think Celtics has a chance to even the series, and how do you think they'll do it.
They have the same spread in game 1, IMO, still favorite and if they win I think they'll cover, but can they win? that's the question now.

Maybe, there's a high chance that the Milwaukee Bucks will dominate them in the 2nd game if the Boston Celtics will still do what they did last time. But we know there will be some adjustment and so does the Bucks too, let's see if the Celtics can withstand the intensity that the defending champion can bring even if there's no Middleton with them.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: May 02, 2022, 06:03:07 PM
There is a specific time to teach them about bitcoin and its existence but for now, I will let them enjoy the things that they can grasp while they are still young because sooner or later time will eventually catch up on them whether they like it or not. Also, teaching them about these things won't be that huge challenge or struggle as children these days are more knowledgeable in the internet so it is kind of unlikely that they won't get to know about bitcoin even before we teach them what is bitcoin or what can it do. Actually my youngest brother has already know few things about bitcon while he is still in middle school.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klay Thompson @51 for NBA Finals MVP. on: April 28, 2022, 12:47:05 PM
Thus far, I believe that Klay Thompson is the most consistent on the big 3 of the Warriors. The defense was obviously focused on Curry and that will make Thompson open because he is always the first option if Curry would passed, as a result, he will generate more points easily.

So I see the odds, and it's 51, IMO, that's very tempting.

The question is, is it worth taking it?
Well, I'm not sure as well.
But even that, many were too close to see Curry become MVP if they reach the finals. And I'm not certain if they will just base on the points generated upon proclaiming who will be the MVP. However, this may not cause disappointment to whether which among the two will get the reward as their goal is to win the finals as a team, not an individual goal.

671  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 26, 2022, 03:03:47 AM
I don't think this is a surprise, as we know that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are like a roller coaster, sometimes price fluctuations move quickly up or down, and I think this is what makes us excited and interested to keep abreast of bitcoin developments, but if we make it for long-term investment long then just hold in the wallet and see a big change a year or so.
Not for us old-timers but for the newcomers, they can't appreciate it, they instead get shocked. Perhaps, I was this feeling before but I was then changed as I understand the nature of the market, and I believe these newbies may change their views as well. Yes, it takes time but it was how we adapt to the situation that we have never encountered before.

For as long as we can manage to hold, just do it. There is a perfect time to sell, patience is very important in this kind of investment.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it always about price? on: April 25, 2022, 11:23:50 AM
Volatility - we can't change this and that is why we have to expect people to talk about prices, correction, market inflation, etc...
And why people are focused on the price is because this was the basis of when to buy and sell.

Not really a thing to get surprised, in fact, this serves as our awareness. Like to have some friends gatherings, we always discuss crypto prices. Actually, investors love to talk about this stuff.

674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: April 24, 2022, 09:22:19 AM
Almost every week there are one or two new casinos launching here, this section is already a big number of casinos there are good and bad new casinos here, these new casinos know that for them to stay in the game and be competitive they have offer new things and bonuses and giveaways.

Are you still supporting new casinos even if you're already playing in so many casinos do you still have room for new casino to deposit and play?
I don't think anyone really likes newly launched casinos. Because no one likes to take a rick where he is already happy with the present and getting good services. Even then, if newcomers are not welcomed, the market will become monopolistic. Therefore, to test the new ones, we should put a little eye on the new lunches casinos.
It was an option for the trader, they may be preferred for an old site rather than take the risk to new casinos because they are already satisfied enough. I could even stay and acted the same. However, we can't evaluate the legitimacy of the project if we dare not to try new and even to know how good is their service, might they are good than those old ones. Of course, we don't need to deposit a huge amount there, in fact, they offer free money to use while in trials, we can use this perhaps.
675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Using a Stop loss "Good" or "Bad" on: April 17, 2022, 02:38:45 PM
I have traded and analyzed several charts and I have come to a conclusion that trading with a stop loss is the easiest way to lose money and not a safety net because if your analysis is correct what happens most of the times is markets go for the stop losses which takes you out of the market and price turns to your predicted direction after the stop hunt which many consider as market manipulations.

That probably you don't set it properly. I could tell you that it was not because of the strategy you have used, it is the way how you used it.
In fact, why some traders are comfortably using this? It was because they know the function of the STOP-LOSS strategy which they found out that was really helping them and saving them from losing more.

Anyways, we can't appreciate things that won't work for us. We have to accept that not all strategies will work for everyone and it just happen on you, though.

677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 13, 2022, 10:40:21 AM
This is a good development and we expect good fights from now on because

Quote
Bitcoin bonuses will be awarded to the three standout athletes at each UFC pay-per-view event as voted for by fans across the world.

Crypto.com will be the one to pay the bonus and this will enhance the usage of Bitcoin of course awareness comes to it looking forward to other organizations using Crypto.com services to reward or pay their athletes and officials.
It is an amazing development in crypto, however, this never makes it helps to see good fights. Indeed, the fights we saw are good already. But what we expect is to gain more attraction and crypto exposure which eventually helps increase demand and users.

Quote
Do you think the majority of athletes not only from UFC will be happy to accept their bonus by Bitcoin?

That was uncertain. Many were still no-how about Bitcoin, they will, of course, don't accept that.
I'd looked forward to having this being fully adopted in sports, not just in bonus but their salary.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 12, 2022, 08:57:40 AM
I really believe in Devin Haney even though he is the underdog to Kambosos pretty much I am siding on him, both are undefeated although George Kambosos Jr. has more experience than Haney, I think that Devin Haney has proven himself so many times,
With the current betting standing, Haney was the favorite now with a winning probability of 65.5%.

https://bettinginsiderjournal.com/boxing/devin-haney-vs-george-kambosos-odds/

I see a challenging moment now on the side of Kambosos on how to change the situation. For sometimes we think that experience is an advantage but at this time, it looks like it was not the assurance. It really matters the condition of the fighter.
