681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: September 29, 2022, 09:41:20 AM
I was doing the same OP but I stopped. I've guided some people on how cryptocurrency works, especially Bitcoin, they were happy about it in the start after they knew how much profit they could make on it in the long run. However, the impatient ones blamed me because they were keep on insisting that Bitcoin is not going to pump again, way back 2018 when bear market hits, and they did panic selling, which they regret when Bitcoin pumps again.

Since then, I never guided anyone because I'm very disappointed on what happened. You guide them, teach them, and yet they would blame you when red candles appears. I don't like those kind of people. Hopefully that would never happen to you OP.
I guess that's what's come when you try to teach people about something they don't understand and just wanted to earn some quick bucks. Some people will hold your responsibility in case they lose money on the potential investment that you've told them.

I myself also tried to teach some of my colleagues and friends about cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin and as of now I never received any backlash from them as I've only taught them about the basic information as well as investment and potential income they could get from crypto. Also, I never suggested they invest but rather research crypto that they would like to invest in as most of it has a lot of risks. Upon telling them the profit I've generated and earned, I've also told them about the loss to better informed them about the risks.

Right now, some of them has already past me in terms of income as well as knowledge and I am happy about it.

It was sulit.com.ph and it turns out to be olx which i do know that lots had been changed and lots had left and using up the service or platform which i wasnt aware that they had gone down.
When it comes to business then there's no assurance that you would really be successful, yes its not bad to make out some changes for the good and trying out to expand but
it wouldnt ensure that it would really be that effective but well its really something the risk where these business owners need to test or try on for the better but it did really just failed and it is one of the risk.
That was initially what I also thought when I saw OLX on the list however Sulit.com was a buy and sell company here in the Philippines and it was quite a popular one where even I was able to use it to buy some goods from the platform however OLX was able to buy the company.

I did quick google research and this is what I've found in regards the connection between Sulit.com and OLX.com.

Quote from: google.com
What happened to Sulit com?

Sulit.com.ph, arguably the number one online Philippine marketplace where Filipinos can easily buy and sell items, is officially not in existence anymore. According to its website, Sulit confirms that it has officially rebranded itself as OLX.ph – OLX being the company that bought over Sulit into its porfolio.
683  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph suspended my account without valid reason on: September 29, 2022, 08:19:28 AM
Yep.

684  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: September 28, 2022, 09:42:31 AM
👉 No Planning
Most small scale businesses start the business without a concrete plan. They rush into business because they see people make ways from it. To start a business, one need to make proper findings about the business. Failure to plan may lead to the downfall of the business.

The lack of planning is usually the reason why many businesses close. Newbie entrepreneurs think that establishing a business is not difficult. They think that once money starts flowing into their business, they can relax and just wait for their investment to return. They forget to plan some contingency measures that can happen on their business in the future like if a typhoon or the pandemic last year which ruined many businesses.
I don't think this is absolutely true as most new business entrepreneurs are planning way ahead on their business endeavors and most of them have a roadmap to follow through. Also, newbie entrepreneurs know how hard to handle a business before even starting one as they will need to against huge companies.

I guess most new businesses fail to run in the long run due to not being able to follow up with the roadmap as well as compromising any delays that could happen on the roadmap planned. Another main reason why small businesses fail is that huge companies overwhelm them and they cannot keep up with the other big businesses' pricing, marketing, and services.
685  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: September 28, 2022, 08:45:15 AM
Wala akong bitcoin pero satoshi lang ang meron ako feel ko nga is isa din sa mga regrets ko is yung masyado kong pinag bebenta lahat ng binili kong murang bitcoin at iba pang coin kasi nga solid naging pump nito last ATH nya tsaka di din naman natin masasabi pwedeng mangyari sa market eh kaya risk taking nalang din ang pwede mangyari dito, pero ngayong upcoming bull run for sure marami sa atin ang mag grab ng chance at opportunity na makakuha ng good profit this halving.
Well almost all of us is ganto nangyari ehhh. Dami satin ang ginamit ang BTC or ibang assets nila as their daily expenses in life, Sure ako na maraming kagaya natin na nag reregret not keeping their BTC in their own wallet. Dami ko din natutunan about market cycle and regrets about sa mga mali kong ginawa dahil sa pag benta ko ng BTC ehh. Surely next bull market alam na natin ang gagawin especially ngayon na medyo down ang market, We still have chance to accumulate pa naman.

686  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: September 28, 2022, 07:53:58 AM

688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 26, 2022, 09:12:49 PM
You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.
I think the world has grown pass that stereotype. We now live in an open society where even religious leaders exercise themselves  on things that seemed too awkward in years past. One can gamble and still maintain their reputation its a matter of how the go about their gambling activity. The goal is been responsible after all. If one gamble for entertainment irrespective of their discipline it's their personal life and the have every right to stay happy, if the derive joy from gambling
For me, it's more about how your gambling activities affect your reputation as a professional rather than stereotype. If you are what OP said which is a gambler who does just for entertainment purposes and it doesn't affect your work as a teacher or a lawyer, then there should be no reason for it to cause any issue to anyone around you. However, if you're a compulsive gambler in such as case it even affects your work and the people you work with, then people around you as well as a society might judge you and will cause more trouble to you and your profession.

One must not affect their gambling activities to their professional activities as it will cause conflict in both activities.
689  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: September 26, 2022, 08:37:06 PM
SO explain to me how/why Eddie ON STREAM has players from Germany via discord and talks to them.

Wouldnt make any sense if those are not allowed to play.

Also always saying "big shout out to the german community on stake which is huuuge"
They mostly use VPN probably, another option is the community members are located outside of Germany.
Anyways, the most restricted areas have more users on Stake community, IMHO.
Some of them might be using VPN however, as far as I know, Stake doesn't allow its users to use VPN as it is against their ToS, and someone who will be caught may be subjected to investigation and either be requested for KYC or be banned or account closure.

I would rather lean on the latter reason which is the German community doesn't necessarily mean that these users are from or in Germany.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 26, 2022, 08:28:21 PM
So what's about your score on those subjects? are you failing a grade? it must be a hard lesson for you since you're just making small mistake and make you need to spend 1 year again. But after that I know you wouldn't did that shit again, moreover you're already an adult and can make a decision in your life

Fortunately I didn't have similar experience like you, where the fault are on yours, not the casino. IMO my worst day on gambling is when the casino I trust become a scam casino and confiscate all of my money.
I don't think that his score on those subjects and if he is failing his grades since those will not be accounted for due to the fact that he was not able to pay for his tuition and school fees. Surely, OP learned his lesson the hard way to not gamble any funds that are already allocated for other things, especially for payment.

In regards to your worst situation on gambling, It really hits hard knowing that you did not mess up yet your funds have been lost and stolen by the casino you've trusted. I never experienced being robbed by the casino itself and I never want to experience it, especially for the casino I am playing on.

Anyways, as for my worst experience with gambling, I've been greedy and ended up losing all my winnings and more of my funds. I began gambling with my usual bankroll in which I've been winning consecutively however I end up getting greedy and tried to bet all in but end up losing. I tried to deposit more funds as I was feeling lucky due to my winning streak however I end up loosing even more amount.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 26, 2022, 07:22:52 PM
There are various different online gambling casinos that are still around for quite some time now. One of the longest-running crypto casinos out there is Primedice which has been trusted by many gamblers out here. Primedice offers a quite simple casino game which is a dice game but if you are interested in other gambling games such as slots, sports betting, and other casino games then I suggest you visit Stake which is created by the same makers of Primedice. Also, other than Primedice, Freebitco.in, JustDice, and other casinos that you can find here at the Gambling board has been running for a long time and is still active up until today.

I don't think that their opinions matter whether you're gambling or not as long as your gambling activities do not affect your professional career. However, there are instances, especially for teachers where some schools require them not to be involved in any gambling-related institution which one must follow. Other than that, I don't think that their opinion matter as well as you don't need to explain your self to anyone about your gambling activities.
693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: September 26, 2022, 05:39:11 PM
Is there any official twitch announcement regarding this news? I’m casually watching gambling stream when I have time to watch more after watching my favorite gamer streamer. I doubt having a live platform specific for gambler can compete twitch because twitch is the most preferred streaming site of all viewers unless they can on board popular influencers exclusive on new platform then this might work.
This is already official since twitch already make an official statement. This is just a rumor before since there’s a discussion here about gambling streamer using money of there viewer on his own bet. This is illegal against twitch terms and conditions which intensify the urge on banning all gambling related streams to protect there user for possible loss due to addiction and scam scheme.

You can read discussion about this here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5414408.0
The reason why you are still able to view and watch streams from gamblers is that the banning hasn't happened yet but after October 18, all or most gambling-related streams especially those from the gambling platform list will be removed.

I doubt, that twitch's reason is about that rumor but rather they want to avoid any future repercussions in case any illicit activities involve gambling, especially on crypto gambling platforms. Also, they've mentioned something about the licensing issue yet there is a crypto casino listed on their ban list that has a license.

AngPao pati si coins.ph mismo tuwing Christmas at New Year. Medjo goods sakin yun kasi every year yung tropa nagsesend ng link sa GC tuwing holiday.
695  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: September 26, 2022, 10:28:26 AM
Kaya nga time consuming dahil dinedelay nila ang oras.  Need nilang iconsume ang time ng community and to make them think that they are busy with something.  Single tasking is a time of the past, multi-tasking na tyo ngayon, besides iyong mga paevent nila ay hindi naman kailangan ng oras ng developer.  Isang grupo lang naman ng marketing people ang need nila from those events.

Haha tama.

Walang kwenta kasi at tinaasan pa price. Non-sense.
Kaso wala talagang progress magmula last year, kahit yung World Boss hindi pa rin optimize at sobrang buggy tulad ng dati.

Parang malabo.

697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 25, 2022, 05:27:52 PM
I seriously doubt that the gambling establishment would ban/prohibit card counting.

These types of games are created in order to combat any possible threat of having an advantage on your side. Card counting is something that is natural for a person to do- creating advantages out of difficult situations. In addition, card counting most likely will not have such an effect compared to other techniques used that is why I seriously doubt that the online gambling website would take it against you.
The casino or gambling establishments will do take action against these kinds of activities especially if the advantages it provided is too effective. For example, A player has been winning consecutive and has been earning a high value amount because of card counting, then the casino will  most likely be more observant on this players gameplay and see how he do it. You may heard a lot of stories about users having their bet amount limited after winning consecutively even if the user did not do anything against the casinos rules and policies.
698  Economy / Gambling / Re: I play on dueblits on strip club and win on: September 25, 2022, 03:36:39 PM
We are glad you had fun and did some gambling, but this board is not meant for these types of posts. This board is for gambling sites to promote themselves. You should consider moving this thread to gambling discussion where it would be more appropriate. Congrats on the night of fun.
It's great to know that someone was able to win big and enjoy the night at the same time without costing too much. Also, I hope this is not how party on your end happens back then especially with drug part. I remember before that you were drunk which is why payments were delay. But still, you're one of the greatest campaign managers out here.

Anyways, As for everyone, Don't do drugs just what the OP did and still congratulations on sharing the experience.
699  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph suspended my account without valid reason on: September 25, 2022, 09:53:29 AM
What if?

700  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Manlolokong kumpanya localbitcoins.com (scam company Localbitcoins) on: September 25, 2022, 08:50:07 AM
