703  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 02, 2023, 03:53:54 AM
Thanks for all the discussions. I read a lot of comments. That many people disagree with kyc. But I haven't seen anyone commenting that there was fraud or KYC abuse from gambling sites. Hope I didn't miss that comment.

Is it just over-worrying?

Probably. The general opinion is that when you send KYC documents they are potentially compromised, but this happens even on large exchanges like Coinbase, where data can be hacked or even sold by them. In general, the more reputable the casino or the site in general, the less likely it is that there will be a problem with your data, but once you have submitted it, you can't be sure of anything.

The information on the databases is stolen and sold. No one from a casino is going to come out publicly and say that information has been compromised. In fact, the casino may not even know since most of the time it's an inside job and an employee just sells the information.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS since 2014 : KYC Rankings, Bonuses, Support on: May 31, 2023, 01:57:30 AM
To us, being winner-friendly means providing a welcoming environment to players from all backgrounds and all capabilities, with a core value of not limiting or closing winning accounts. On the casino side, this means we support our players throughout their experience and encourage them to play and win. On the sportsbook side, we aim to give our players the tools they need to make informed betting decisions through sharing analytical content with them and we never limit or close accounts.

Any reviews on these?

Thanks for the input LEVSKI. Alphabookbet is a fiat book requiring KYC so a review hasn't been done on them.
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: May 31, 2023, 01:50:15 AM

Just wondering if your list includes the consideration of the KYC data storage as per the topic? Because I only see that list only ranks the casino KYC through their implementation. High ratings for those who didn't required it that much while low rating to those who strictly required it.

...//::::
I don't mind submitting KYC as long as the casino is reputable.

This is the point and we all agree on that, but look at this example that he just posted, quote, can it be reliable?  Many only look at promotions.

-

The casino that he use for example is not reputable and obviously a mediocre casino that offers too good to be true promotion just to attract players. @lionheart pertains to casino that already have a brand here in the forum.

You have it right. A rating of 5 means that KYC is mandatory. A rating of 1 means that the casino will leave you alone unless you use more than one account. A ranking of 3 means that there is a chance of KYC even if you haven't used more than one account. It can also be for a small amount.

thanks for this list here, and I wanna to ask who checked them for patouts?

I try to test drive all the books and take a withdrawal before putting up a rating. All the "A" and "B" books must have withdrawals within 1 hour on average. It's best if multiple people post on withdrawal times. Poster reviews help all.

709  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS since 2014 : KYC rankings, promo pages. on: May 23, 2023, 04:07:20 PM
So, there is a thing I don't understand. There are casinos that have Curacao license but at the same their KYC requesting is very different, some of them rarely ask you for KYC while some of them ask it moderately or frequently.
Can someone explain why is that so? Logically, all casinos should follow the same rules and if one manages to get without asking KYC frequently, why can't another casino, that operates under the same license, do so?

It does make logical sense for all the Curacao books to have the same KYC rating. In reality, Betcoin and Forunejack leave players alone unless they multi-account to abuse bonuses or circumvent limits. They will even allow those from the US to play without repercussion. Those two have a KYC rating of 1.

Then there are the other Curacao books rated 3 and 4 that seem to use their license and TOS as a weapon to confiscate money from winners. They leave those alone that lose money, but will go after winners using jurisdiction. Using the US again, they will take winnings or whole balances from those playing in the US. The amount is irrelevant at some of those books. While I agree that AML and KYC rules have to be enforced, a one time rollover is sufficient. To weaponize Curacao laws to take money from winners warrants a lower KYC rating.

Players should not use multiple accounts. Be very careful of jurisdiction when playing at books rated 3 and 4. Nitrogen is another book with a rating of 1. They allow players from most countries except for Costa Rica where they are located. There are a couple others such as Russia but for the most part, they leave players alone and will not target winners.

Please post comments, reviews, praises and complaints here.
I noticed Rollbit doesn't have a promo or bonus page, so I suggest linking their blog page as an alternative since that's where all of their weekly challenge(promos) are posted.

Also, Betzus and BC.game can be added to the not rated list. I linked both of their ANN thread to save you some time.

Thanks as always ralle. The Rollbit promo has been added as well as the 2 NR.

Please post comments, reviews, praises and complaints here.

Although this is a player's thread, books are encouraged to post. The only rule for books is to keep their conversation to their own book and not that of another book.

(Still in the process of finishing KYC rankings and misc.)

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

713  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS and REVIEWS of SPORTS BOOKS thread. Poster input appreciated.... on: May 17, 2023, 03:50:24 PM
I looked through the basic books and haven't found offer of bonus for the deposit. Do BTC books offer it at all?

It's tough to find bonuses from bitcoin books although there are VIP programs. Nitrobetting is the only one that I know of that will give a bonus for sports betting https://nitrobetting.eu/bonuses/ .

Just a small warning for gamblers planning to deposit, some crypto sportsbooks like Sportsbet and 500casino bumped up their minimum withdrawal ($50-$100) due to the rise in miner fees that happened these past few days.

Other sportsbooks might do the same, so be sure to check their current withdrawal before making the deposit.

ralle, thank you for the updated news on withdrawals.

715  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥇BEST CASINO IN 2023 - Community decide🥇 on: May 11, 2023, 05:48:17 PM
There are many sites claiming that they know which is the the best Casino of the year, but really?
Who should decide this? We believe the community should determine which casino deserves this title.

That is why we created a separate and 100% community-driven section BEST ONLINE CASINO at newcryptocasinos.com.

No casino can buy a spot here. Only the community can tell us which casinos we should add as qualifiers. The final vote will be conducted by the community on Bitcointalk and Twitter.

We believe this is the most honest way to crown the best casino in the world.

If you think this is a good idea, please feel free to suggest the qualifiers we should add to our listings, and please help spread the word

I'd like to give an update on Thunderpick, i've used them a couple of times this week and it seems like they've already transitioned to a traditional sportsbook.

The betting experience is disappointing, the markets they're offering on their sports page are very limited and the odds are lower than the other sportsbooks. The only good part of their sportsbook is the esports page so if I have to give them a rating it'd be D- at best when most sportsbooks can at least get a good odds provider like Betby or BetRadar.
Thanks for the review ralle. Thunderpick moved to sportsbooks and opens D-.

My Betnomi review:

Have used them now for 2,5 months. Quick and neat navigating website, nice layout. Good number of betting options and markets. Good and friendly customer service and my first 2 withdrawals were processed fairly quick (within hours). So I was just about to leave a very positive rating but now my 3rd withdrawal is pending for longer than it should be.....4 and a half days already. So I will report here once I received that one and then I will submit my final review rating.

Okay, I got the withdrawal now. All good with Betnomi and I stick to my review above....they are now rated C- and for me, they can be increased to C+. Not yet B because they have not been that long in business. But for sure not a scam which some people seem to claim.

GekkeBelg, happy to hear that you were paid. 6 days is still way too long to wait for a payout so I'm going to leave the rating at "C-". More 6 day delays will move them to the "D"s.

Bit of an offtopic, I wonder how 1xbet works in your countries? In Eastern European countries like Ukraine, russia, belarus, Kazakhstan etc they are considered the worst. Can place their own bets in your account. In short "saddle".

Also Parimatch, it's an office set up in Ukraine. But over time they have become the same plan as 1xbet.

They are the worst, IMHO, for russian speakers.

What about you? You should also write the country to make it clear.

Great idea and I will add the country. Most of them will be Curacao and Costa Rica. I don't play at very many fiat books now. I test drive all the crypto books that let me in including the ones that may not pay never staying long. Played a little at 1xbit to test it out and they gave me a second set of lines after very little play. Most of my play goes to the top bitcoin books. It's tough enough to win a bet and there's no need to worry about the payout.
