However, another member just pointed out that the scammer is breaking the rules. So the thread is likely to get deleted... Am I really going to have to open up a scam accusation thread and every petty offense that I come across?

I prefer creating my own thread and this way chances of altering the topic/post contents are less.

The user used referral link so most likely the topic will be deleted if anyone report it.

This format seems very fair. Any team can have a bad day, so does a top team. So if they fail in the Qualifier 1 match then they get another chance in Qualifier 2 match.

If that happened then we might see different team were playing in the final. However we may not see an epic final that never happened in cricket history. Everything has its cause.
7043  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need DT to tag also need flag support. on: July 20, 2019, 02:27:40 PM
I am just curious why there are no support yet. Can anyone please discuss about it?

The guy is asking users to buy membership (pay 0.01BTC) then he will give the users 2x of the BTC they paid. Isn't it suspicious?
7044  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Peer to Peer Bitcoin Auction Site - itcoinBay.com (Special Offer for 1st taker) on: July 20, 2019, 02:20:45 PM
I did not approach him with the offer. The offer was available for everyone to take, and seeing no one was taking it I took it, thus far it only speaks of OP that he's willing to send free money. It's not a review when I haven't even bought or listed anything on his site yet.

I have also criticized his site, his business model, and pretty much called him a scammer in the other thead (as other users did, too). I told him trust takes time to build, as most users prudently take the caveat emptor maxim to their hearts.

Well reading his response to me above in some posts, I felt like he said malevolent got it so everyone should trust him and purchase the membership paying 0.01 and then he will give 0.02 BTC.

Malevolent took me up on that and as soon as I paid him .02 BTC he sent us back the .01 BTC, so everybody was happy except the guy that suspects us of working toward the long-con...  Lips sealed

I am glad that you came up and gave the clarification.

A side note, seems like he was pissed when I started to talk hard but in your case he offered you the payment first. Possibly it's because he know you are a staff and possibly in the DT network. He knows he can use it to sell his idea or perhaps scam people.

If you want the offer, first apologize in a reply for accusing us of scamming and then you can take us up on the offer if you want.
Sorry bud, no apology yet since I still suspect that you possibly have this intention to scam others. If I am proven wrong then may be you will get it, I will not have any issue to say sorry then.

No I'm not watching this T20 blast as I don't get these matches here to watch. I am interested in the up coming T20 World Cup qualifier matches to see which team can qualify for the next T20 World Cup. Nepal have been on the improve recently so I'm thinking that they will win and qualify.
I will not wathc the T20 blast too, not a big fan of it however I am interested for the India vs West Indies series. Talking about the T20 world cup, there will be a pool like we had for IPL without any doubt.

The initial draft for the Euro T20 Slam 2019 got completed yesterday and the mainstream media chose not to cover it.
Seems like a new T20 series for the European nations?

Dhoni didn't make any announcement related to retirement yet. He did withdrawal his name from upcoming Windies series, so we are not going to see Dhoni for a couple of month in Blue jersey. There are some chances of his announcement when South Africa- Bangladesh visiting India later this year.
Give him some rest LOL
I mean seriously, he needs some rest. You can not just go against your age all the time.
7046  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How LBC blocked my 5000$ without any reasons on: July 20, 2019, 01:13:30 PM
It's sickening how LBC is acting so scummy these days! You should not be asking them for details about the other person but your own money. Just tell them assuming your accusation is true and I suffered identity theft, just send the bitcoins back to whichever wallet it come from? That's not very hard to do.

Sue LBC to your local authorities.

I do not understand why this is so hard for these exchanges or gambling sites. We see scam accusations topic almost regularly and the common issue is multi account/ same ip this kind of things.

When this happens, I see the best practice is to send the money back to the address it came from.
7047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 20, 2019, 12:57:38 PM
Djokovic had a very difficult life, he still remembers the 1999 bombing of Serbia and he has already had many difficult moments in his career.
If they are all against him then he is even more determined to win and then he is actually stronger and nobody can beat him.
He is a great champion and I hope he will once receive a deserved respect.

Every great comes from the ashes. I have not seen many people to get success from a luxurious life. Billionaires, great sports personals - in all section you will see they come from hard fight.

I never knew about Djokovic's early life but if that is true then he earned the place where he is now. Much respect.
7048  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How LBC blocked my 5000$ without any reasons on: July 20, 2019, 12:32:45 PM

Do they supply an address to deposit to the moment you open an account before verification?
If so considering they're KYC heavy now they shouldn't be doing that. Plenty of people won't pass it. And I've zero idea why OP would want to use them as a wallet. That's emphatically not what they're for and a potentially suicidal move even if this hadn't happened.

If I were OP I definitely wouldn't bother with LBC's own reddit sub. They'll erase anything that makes them look uncool. I'd get on r/bitcoin and r/cryptocurrency where there'll be plenty of people happy to tear them a new one.

This is a pretty weird story so perhaps it'll get some traction.
As far as I can remember, they do.

I think the OPs intention was to get the attention of LBC team and that is why he posted in their own sub reddit. But since it did not work, I believe now he is trying the other options.
7049  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Peer to Peer Bitcoin Auction Site - itcoinBay.com (Special Offer for 1st taker) on: July 19, 2019, 09:56:07 PM
I got very irritated and so I sent the taker (the bitcointalk moderator malevolent) .02 BTC up front and he then made the purchase which netted him .01 BTC.
You should do the same to other users too. I am not saying to everyone but to those who has good trading history and long term members in the forum.

Count me in as well. I may not have very long history of trading but I am a long term member and your 0.01BTC is not a money that I will ran away with. I spend lot more money to buy fun for me every now and then.

Edit:
*** Update Note: Offer not valid for existing VIP members or Royse777 (unless he apologizes) since he has such a loose mouth.

The guy is asking users to buy membership (pay 0.01BTC) then he will give the users 2x of the BTC they paid. Isn't it suspicious?

I will just quote some part of the conversation I had with the user:

Wait!
So you are saying, I pay first to buy the membership and once done then you will send 0.02BTC to me?

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. Register first, then click on Store and purchase the VIP membership. And don't forget the Referral Code!
Bud!
You know you are not making sense? Why would anyone needs to pay first where you are willing to give them 0.02BTC. Isn't it more logical to give 0.02BTC in the system then let them pay for the membership unless you are trying to scam innocent users?

This is a very well known scamming trick and you can not sell it to me unfortunately. I am going to make sure that you are getting tagged by the DT users. Please do not scam innocent people around.

Archive: http://archive.is/4nYSb

I have tagged the user, I hope some DTs come forward too.

Cheers :-)

So you are saying you will give 0.01BTC to purchase a VIP membership in your store. The membership will cost 0.01BTC

Please correct me if I am wrong and if I am not wrong then feel free to count me in. Let me know (either here or in PM in case I miss your response here) what do I need to do?

Yes, you go to the site and register and then click on Store and purchase a VIP membership which will (temporarily) set you back .01 BTC. As soon as you do this, as a reward for your trust we will send you (almost immediately) .02 BTC which nets you .01 BTC.

Again! Another one!

That's really sad. Sometimes I really wonder - do they really get hacked or it's just a plot to move the users funds. The cryptopia one did not look good to me. And there were some others too.

Is it ever possible to create a decentralized exchange where we can trade coins including Bitcoin?
7055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 19, 2019, 09:17:14 PM
He is still one of the best in the game but I don't think he will win another match against Djokovic. Djokovic is firmly inside his head as recent head to head suggests. Therefore, I am seeing Federer as probable semi-finalist in grand slams but not a winner. He is not getting any younger. Hopefully I am wrong and we will see him lift another grand slam.
I am a fan of Federer, Djokovic and Nadal's tennis. But for Federer since he is not getting any younger I always wanted him to get as many titles as he can so that for Djokovic or possibly Nadal, it become very harder.

By the way, lately I am also believing that this "Djokovic in head" thing is really in Federer's mind. May be this was the reason for him to lose the Wimbledon final.

You do have options though. Use Linux instead of Windows. Use Firefox instead of Chrome. Use DuckDuckGo instead of Google search. Use ProtonMail instead of GoogleMail. For every service you use which invades your privacy, there is an alternative which doesn't.
This is where user friendly features comes in count also knowledge is vital.

Use Linux instead of Windows.
- I never used Linux and I do not think I will ever consider it too.

Use Firefox instead of Chrome.
- I feel Chrome service is better and using it however changing it to firefox is that that hard.

Use DuckDuckGo instead of Google search
- Not user friendly. Google is bringing exactly that I want but in DuckDuckGo every time I am going from the start.

Use ProtonMail instead of GoogleMail
- Never tried ProtonMail. Guess I will give it a try.

Problem is that - the alternatives are not very much up to date with the comfort lever the regular services offer. It's like your phone company. In your circle if everyone is using service A then you are using the same because service A is giving some specific offers which you can not find with other service to communicate with your friends.

We used to have T-20 thread for international games, or not? i take this thread as a Red ball cricket- Test match Discussion.

Oh yes!
I almost forgot about that LOL

Here: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion

The separate thread for World cup and IPL almost lost this thread. I am sure it's gonna get the life back with this India vs WI series.

I never understood why Dhoni was striped off of captaincy. He was the most successful captain India team ever had. Kohli on the other hand misses what I look for in leadership. He is always being surrounded by some controversy and is infamous with his temper.
Age. He is a senior player and eventually a new young guy needs the place and the change has a transition period. So it was given to Kohli while Dhoni is around.

Do you know Stokes innings is ever highest for England in a world cup final? The previous highest was 63, can't remember the exact name of that player. He played an excellent innings by the way.
That's a good achievement. I never knew that. Good to learn it.
7059  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How LBC blocked my 5000$ without any reasons on: July 19, 2019, 07:10:08 PM
Did you go through KYC with the same exact ID anywhere else, ICOs, exchanges, etc.? Perhaps pinpointing who leaked or made use of your ID is possible.
There was already another account which was 1 year old and verified using the OPs ID. According to OP he does not know about any of this but Localbitcoins found the match and locked his account. OP is not sure about the old account though.

They said that this account belongs to me, but I registered and verified my account one day earlier. How can this be?

Similar proposal was discussed in several occasions but I do not think the admin has this in their priority list. The best you can do is that sign a Bitcoin address and stake it in here. So in case anything goes wrong with your account, request the admin to unlock it.

The processes were slow before but since theymos introduced the cryptonies (please some one correct the name, I know I got it wrong) or something team - the account recovery is faster I believe.
