721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 01, 2016, 12:18:37 PM
Congratulations to the waves community for creating new history in ICO, it is most successful ever so that wil be the next big giant in crypto world.

"most succesful ever" after the DAO...

DAO was never successful, DAO is the last crap on earth. The entire price is artificial as it was based on the Ethereum price which increased during the ICO. Take a look at the DAO thread it has 40 pages.

NO one invested the equivalent sum in USD.

dao did not count on this "bitcoin" forum. doesn't mean, that it doesn't get attention somewhere else ;-)
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 31, 2016, 02:47:05 PM
very hot in last few hours.

To hot... we are losing our % of the pie Smiley
Bought waves at day 1 and have bought more yesterday and today... having a very positive feeling towards this team and project!

That is exactly what I hate about this scenario. People feel forced to buy more with this shrinking amount showed.
In my eyes some kind of bad game. People are killing each others balances and with it their own. The only one, who wins is the WAVES team. I think they have enough. Leave us some room for growth...
If everyone buys now double amount we still get the same amount of tokens.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 31, 2016, 02:35:40 PM
i bought ETH in ico  price  and i never sold .Look the price now .....

I think that real investors have 3 things:

passion, patience and perseverance

ps:en opinion

I don't think so. good investors know, when to sell and when to buy...
I am holding and buying only since 2 years and seems like there was not a good result yet.

But hope the time has come for me now...
The Bear market seems to be over ;-)

ETA on launch?

31st of May for version 1.0.0, but the launch is supposed to be later. Also I need extra days to implement countermeasure for http://arxiv.org/pdf/1605.07524v1.pdf.

how can we donate on a non final tangle?
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: May 29, 2016, 03:50:37 PM
I am a frontend dev working for 2 german car companies and many others. If I was hired, there would be a usable frontend in days...

3 first guys were saying the same  Grin
but there is no need to pay in advance...
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: May 29, 2016, 03:41:11 PM
Claimed and donated.

Do not panic in advance someone will wait for more user friendly client, someone will donate via sending tokens to foundation wallet.

My heart hurts, if I hear, they hired 3 persons and they didn't get a frontend yet. Were they payed in advance? OMG...

sorry, but I don't input my seed in an IP webpage. I normally don't even do it on any non final versions. This was a one time try and I feel bad with it already. Get it final and I will donate as I promised.
There is aso no possibility to put funds for "the deal".
I guess such kind of transactions should be normal transactions to given addresses instead of putting it into frontends.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: May 29, 2016, 12:10:39 PM
The new version now allows IOTA 0.9.15 to donate only for the foundation
Please made donation to the foundation now for the time we collected 7%.
When you launched your wallet and inserted your password, you'll see a popup telling you to put a percentage between 1% and 33%.
Put yours percentage follow the steps and wait for confirmation from another popup (I would say 20 minutes it takes to get the confirmation)

You have a tutorial to windws here : http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/tuto4noobo-how-run-iota-0-9-15-in-windows/322/1

if you have problem I am available via PM BTT in the IOTA IOTA chat and forum

Again the Foundation need you, let's solidarity!!!

1. so the tangles are final now? no reset any more? Or why should we donate otherwise?

Kinder machen so etwas.

Simple, does the job.

730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 25, 2016, 09:40:32 PM
Sorry guys. The installation routine is way to complicated. Ok as a developer it is no problem, but you targeted DAUs as well with the ICO.
They have a lot of work to do. A lot. Making a more user friendly local wallet is one of them.
The main problem is that even with this month long delay it simply wasn't enough time to do some things that otherwise would've been done by launch.
It was unexpected how much improvement Crypti needed that was essential to do before Lisk launch, so development effort was redirected by this from other thinks like making user friendly solutions.

Those of us who followed the testnet and dealt with running, testing, updating, etc the delegate nodes, it wasn't a suprise, but the opposite. We considere it a very successful launch, because the network held up, the nodes are synced, Lisk handled a great amount of transactions at launch and since then.

I'm understand why ppl are angry. They expected a finished product (for some reason), that works flawlessly, yet they didn't get it, from their perspective.

This could have been avoided or at least mitigated if a precise time to launch (with timer and everything) wasn't given.
Ironically it also didn't help that both big altocoin exchange was ready and even pre-announced adding Lisk.

I know, that it was a lot of work. I even offered help as well...

I would have suggested to use only non binary modules (also database), then it would be just a simple npm start.
Of course you loose some performance, but it is a decentralized system anyway. The single node doesn't have to be fast...
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Info on Lisk wallet for Mac on: May 25, 2016, 08:45:18 PM
I got the wallet up and running right after launch installing postgre globally with brew.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 24, 2016, 09:22:12 PM
Guys, again! The Lisk network is running smoothly, we are currently at block 711! Only our web login is offline because hundreds of users are connecting to it.

Install Lisk locally or on a VPS. You will have immediate access to your LSK.

MAX BE HONEST!

LISK LAUNCH FAILED MISERABLY!!!!!

omg I knew that...
Guys, thats why we create decentralized apps ;-)
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: May 21, 2016, 11:19:35 AM
With more people wanting to invest in DAO and ETH being the only asset to invest, people have to buy more and more ETH, which makes it more and more expensive.
Why people need invest in DAO and ETH as the only asset to invest ? ETH can not reach Bitcoin user base at least next five years, there are not so many Websites, which uses DAO and ETH.  Wink

I ment you can only use ETH to buy DAO.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: May 21, 2016, 11:15:49 AM
That prediction was very accurate. But the price is going down now. It dropped from 0.034 to 0.03 now.
honestly I expect still a little more to come, but I also can be wrong ;-)
736  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: May 20, 2016, 02:11:11 PM

und wenn die firmen dann komplett der ezb gehören? dann haben wir wieder verstaatlichung wie früher aber auf globaler ebene...
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: May 20, 2016, 01:32:28 PM
I am pretty sure, ETH will skyrocket the next week.
It seems like the DAO is accumulating a lot of ether, thats why the circulating ETH supply shrinks.
At the time of wringting DAO accumulated more than 11 of 80 Million Ether!
And a lot of people wait until the end of the ipo. I believe, it could be even 20 Million Ether in the end.
With more people wanting to invest in DAO and ETH being the only asset to invest, people have to buy more and more ETH, which makes it more and more expensive.
So in my opinion ETH can only skyrocket...

I am not responsible for your investment and this is only an opinion, but if this information was useful to you feel free to donate.

ETH: 0x6D3f2BA856CcbB0237fA7661156B14B013F21240

thanks for the hint. but this simple math  Roll Eyes

i will hold until 20$ per ETH.
of course its simple math. as you said its a hint. But of course there is nothing 100% sure.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: May 20, 2016, 09:56:06 AM
Just wondering what will happen to Eth price when DAO starts investing and all that Eth it took in is sold for fiat to support various projects. It just seems odd that the DAO drove up price significantly to only drive it down as soon as actual funds are needed.  Should be an interesting ride.

Yezzir. People will grow to understand that when profit is taken, ie the guys that brought the price from .015 to this current level (double) decide to cash out. If you were risking precious capital to feed your family /organization with the profits, at what point would you get off the train? Because 2x returns sounds like a great fucking point if you ask me.I didn't buy this because it seemed an incomplete idea, an essay if you will, now I regret not perceiving my brothers greed so that I might have capitalized off of it myself. But maybe better to let this dog lie.

Definitely time to get off the train before DAO starts cashing in. Once that ball starts rolling who knows where the bottom is.

does anyone know, WHEN DAO can use the cash? Directly after IPO end?
The DAO can only use the cash once it's been put to the token holders and voted on. Even then there's no guarantee that the token holders would vote for the cash to be released.

yea but in theory there can be a proposal and a commitment on the next day, isn't it?

why do you say this in this board? here is all about bitcoin speculation.

there is a dedicated board for altcoin that you should move this to!

wrong, its  Economy > Economics > Speculation
Of course this is a bitcointalk forum, but seriously. Eth is economically also important in the meantime...
