Atheist is a choice, as long as the person doesn't hurt anybody and doesnt forced anyone to become atheist, i think is okay, if the person feel peace by being atheist then it is a good thing for that person, an atheist doesn't mean that he is a bad person
Actually, it is not a choice. More like a lack of reasonable choices. It is a choice... it's a choice to accept reality the way it actually is, rather than believing in fairy tales... It is a choice to not believe in gremlins It is a choice to not believe in unicorns It is a choice to not believe in fire-breathing dragons The choice is truth over fantasy

Atheists don't need a promise of reward to believe... they believe because it's true
Such a pitiful life to lead! I don't know how you can say that. It is better for you to be deceived by lies, or semi-truths from people who have no more insight about religion than you have? It is far better to not expect that there is anything waiting for us in the afterlife. Live your life to the fullest and be good man because that is a reward by itself. Don't act nice and moral because you are promised that there will be reward waiting for you in heaven/paradise. That is epitome of hypocrisy for me. ...If an atheist doesn't understand the proof in the links, and if he can't see nature for some reason, the least he should do is be honest with himself and say that he is agnostic - that he doesn't know for sure. Since he isn't honest, he truly has a religion going for himself... and a religion of lies, without any hope. For someone who pushes his opinion on everyone 100 times a day... one would think you'd understand the difference between simple words Atheist and Agnostic are not mutually exclusive as they answer different questions... Gnosticism deals with knowledge... what you know is true... everyone is agnostic (unless they are a fool or liar) Theism deals with belief... what you believe is true... this is a personal choice (for some are able to believe things which are not true)... Personally, I cannot intentionally believe things which are not true, so I am an atheist

I like the 72 virgins idea, but I have a few questions...
It seems like the male/female ratio is gonna be a bit off with this... can I get a guarantee all 72 of mine will be female?
Also, 72 sounds like a lot... but if I only go through 1 a month... I'll be out of virgins after only 6 years, leaving me with no virgins for 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999...993 years

Either you are attempting to hide the truth, or you aren't intelligent enough to understand the truth. Not being intelligent is not against you. People can't do much to increase their intelligence. What is against you is your intentional desire to not learn the truth, and to not increase you intelligence enough to understand the truth. That is the thing that is against you. And, it is all of your own doing.
Failure upon failure. My furry little friend you now nothing of my life, yet you make more assumptions to meet your needs. You continue to bend the truth to meet your needs and this only shows your delusions. Your god is only your faith. Nothing more. BADlogic makes a perfect example for psychological projection... Everything he accuses other people of doing, are things he does himself... All the guy knows is insults, and they all apply to himself more than anyone

When you claim you have proof that sky god exists... But your "proof" is, "once you understand these scientific concepts its obvious" (and then refuse to elaborate)

Do jobs in these "first-tier" cities pay more money?
America has a similar situation in Los Angeles, New York, etc
Rent in LA is 10x the national average, but they get paid a lot more too (or they wouldn't be able to afford living there)

I don't believe taht there is a "best religion" but I believe that a good religion is the one who instills good teachings about one another and for the better good of the entire humanity. It doesn't matter what religion do you belong as long as your religion influence you for the better.
Well i agree with you there brother. Though i think the problem really is not with the religion itself but with some people's twisted interpretation of their religion. I mean, i think all religions instill good teachings that will benefit all men. Its just that some tend to take these teachings wrongly at the same time influence others that their interpretation is the right one I don't believe religion teaches people much of anything... 99% of christians have not read the bible... they don't have a clue what it says People are inherently good... whether they believe in religion or not... perhaps it is only because they are afraid of the scary man in the sky, perhaps not Atheists and other people without religion are just as good of people, if not better than religious people (certainly less bigoted - they don't hate gays, muslims, etc)

To be able to reason with people...
Learn to circumnavigate or go around the person's intellect!
