How do we claim the syscoin alias airdrop?

I think I'm seeing them in Block Market Desktop version 3.

I went to Assets -> Tokens and I have my balance of cps coins.

723  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is the owner of bitcoin system so rich now? on: June 30, 2018, 08:42:35 PM
Basing on the history of bitcoin where the value is still 1 USD according to many of the members here probably the owner of bitcoin does not have more money than he does now. Well the value for bitcoin now is more than 1 USD in fact it is already ranging to 6k USD per BTC and that is why i wonder how rich could be the owner of bitcoin? I think he could have all the luxuries in life and live pleasantly as he pleases. He could have all the girls he will like. He could party anytime and anywhere. He could travel around the world. Indeed he had a good life. I wish he had some time to help the helpless in the streets.

Oh my god, this post is utter garbage!

There is no "owner of Bitcoin"

In the beginning of Bitcoin there was no established dollar value.

Did you go to school?

These are the kind of demonstrated facts that make r/buttcoin cry at night.

That game can be really fun!
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things on my mind about bitcoin lately on: May 29, 2018, 03:28:44 AM
Both are non-problems.

1. Alert keys are not being used, Bitcoin is open-source and everyone working on it can be replaced (as long as talented devs are willing to work on it). And they will be replaced because there is a financial incentive on behalf of all bitcoin holders.

2. Lost bitcoins don't matter. Even if only 1 bitcoin remains it can be infinitely subdivided using software.
727  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I'd be interested in comments about this video on 5G on: May 20, 2018, 12:15:57 PM
So everybody seems to be against Alex Jones, but nobody has commented on the 5G video. Does 5G have any of the problems he mentions?

I only watched the first 2 and a half minutes.

Alex claims that 5G signals destroy the atmosphere, including Oxygen, CO2 and ozone.

If we could destroy CO2 using radiowaves, I think we'd be good for solving Climate change, needless to say these claims are extraordinary.

So, Alex Jones is making extraordinary claims, not immediately followed by a scientific explanation, nor pointing out which studies support his claims.

Also he is really vague about it. How much Oxygen, CO2 and Ozone is being destroyed.

What does it turn into? Hydrogen and Helium? Does it disappear from our plane of existence?

I tried to be impartial but I think it should be clear to all that Alex Jones is not the most credible source of information.
728  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Sleep vs Cryptos (or vice versa) on: May 20, 2018, 11:56:46 AM
I'm an insomniac myself, but it has nothing to do with Bitcoin.

The most foolproof way to get good sleep is to be physically active for at least 6 hours and to get a cool down period before sleep.

On your cool down period do not look at any sort of LCD screens (phone, laptop, PC monitor) or strong lights. A book or a kindle is fine.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is there a database of inaccessible bitcoins? on: May 18, 2018, 12:34:37 PM
If so, I'd like to add my 6 mBTC to it!
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $10,000 to spend on: May 16, 2018, 04:45:29 PM
I think you should put $500 on Syscoin. It's a very ambitious project and the team behind it has proven to be tenacious.

They also have kept delivering software for a very long time.

Now the price has gone down significantly so you'd be buying low.

Disclosure: I've got some Sys because I believe in it.

Edit: grammar from "keep" to "kept"
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's just start using Satoshis when talking about bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 04:40:57 PM
Could you make things clear? Are you talking about a satoshi will equal to 1 U.S. Dollar? If that is what you meant I don't think it is a good idea as it is nowhere possible as of the moment thinking that 1 satoshi is equal to a dollar is like thinking Bitcoin will be priced at 100 million dollars which is nowhere near on where we at right now.

Well, the Zimbabwean dollar is probably already at parity with satoshis... Don't forget we're talking about fiat money.

And with numbers like the ones on http://www.usdebtclock.org/ I don't trust the US economy 100%.

To be clear, the satoshi/USD parity was just an exaggeration, that being said even if we don't hit parity 100,000 satoshis sounds better than 1 mbtc and 50,000 satoshis sounds better then 0.5 mbtc.

Plenty of zeroes and no need for decimals is a huge advantage for bitcoin imo.

Will combat the total nonsense that bitcoin is expensive if just a cent can buy you certain amount of satoshis or mSats.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Let's just start using Satoshis when talking about bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 04:21:26 PM
Given all the hidden inflation when it comes to USD, eventually we're bound to hit parity.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Another Coin Take the Crown? on: February 03, 2018, 06:55:37 PM
I trust Bitcoin more than Ethereum because of what they chose to do after the DAO hack.

Bitcoin has never had it's balances altered to stop a theft so it has a better track record.

All of them are easy to learn, hard to master, just like human languages!

735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I ? on: January 10, 2018, 10:18:35 AM
Investing in crypto isn't for everyone. It's a lot closer to gambling.

Cryptos are a lot like very highly volatile commodities.

Riskier investments generally have higher returns with a higher probability of losing everything.

If you want to really invest, get stocks of a company that a lot of people use, like McDonalds or Walmart.

If you want to gamble some money away, get in early on an ICO or something.

Why did you decide to build that on top of Ethereum rather than on its own?

What happens if Ethereum blows up?

737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: January 07, 2018, 11:47:43 PM
I traded my 26.3 namecoins for 5  millibitcoins and now I finally got my hands on some doge.....

Only about 5000 doges.

I think it's going to do a lot better than Namecoin

I think 5000 something is a good amount... Step 2 is going to be to get it into my own doge wallet.
738  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: December 25, 2017, 06:33:45 AM
Kept most of my altcoins in cryptsy.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think of Syscoin? on: December 17, 2017, 12:40:32 AM
It has a marketplace right on the wallet. I can see myself selling and buying steam-keys on it.

Or even other things.  I find that impressive.

However Syscoin's blockmarket wallet is not open source and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚒ Syscoin -Active Lightning Networks!Decentralized Business Blockchain Platform! on: December 14, 2017, 11:14:50 PM
Could a syscoin 1.0 wallet that had been left alone be converted to syscoin 2 or did the cutoff date mean that those coins are lost forever?

You can just import the private key and it should work. Go to Slack it you have issues  join.syscoin.org

I got  my syscoin 2.0 successfully.

The client synced up really quickly too.
