So far positive energy is coming out from Pakistan side. Imam and Babar is facing Kiwi bowlers confidently. The key will be not to lose wickets. If they start losing wickets then match will become difficult for them.

Fakhar Zaman is out. This is the problem with Pakistan. They need just 238 to win and the required run rate is 4.76 per over. What is the need to score all these runs in 25 overs? At least they could have batted carefully till Henry, Ferguson and Boult finish their opening spell. It looks familiar now, and I believe that Pakistan is in for another defeat and along with it they will exit this world cup.
Well I started to believe when Grandhomme and  Neesham had their 100+ partnership. New Zealand needs Iman, Babar and Haris, game over.

~snip~

I had Williamson @over 45.5, that 1 good ball ruin my bet. But this match will not going to chase easily. Ball spinning so much in pitch.
You were very close. Good luck next time :-)

Since the target is too low, I guess Pakistan will play slower and will not score more than 48 runs. However, it's risky, Fakhar Zaman play a bit faster which can lead Pak to a good score.
Don't predict anything positive for Pakistan. History says, they will disappoint you :-P

I am still considering New Zealand to win this match. Pakistan batting unit will collapse like they do in important matches and this is a do or die match for them.

Edit: Well Fakhar Zaman is gone.

That being said, Djokovic is a beast, my money is on him.
I may consider placing an outright for Djokovic to win the title and also to reach the final. For cricket world cup, I have Australia to win the world cup and also to reach the final and still I am going well :-P

I had another outright bet in IPL too. CSK to reach final and I had it but unfortunately I lost CSK to in IPL trophy.

So, considering the record I hope I will do well for Djokovic to win the title and Djokovic to reach the final.

If I'm remembering correctly NZ were at around 48-50 runs in the 15th over?
It was 48 for 4. Too low and very high risk. However it's Pakistan team very unpredictable, you may see they lost 5 wickets in 30 runs after 15 overs :-P

~snip~

They are going to end up somewhere around 230, and that would gift the advantage back to Pakistan. The run-out of Grandhomme was unnecessary. It is going to cost them at least 10-20 runs in the end. I can see Santner struggling against Wahab Riaz and Mohammed Aamir. Had Grandhomme stayed till the end, they could have scored a few boundaries.
Well they stopped at 237 runs and the target for Pakistan is 238 runs. The match is going to be an entertaining one.

Oh wow, Wimbledon is around the corner? I am so much busy with cricket that I almost forgot about this. Thanks for creating this topic. I will be a regular here as tennis is another sport I enjoy a lot.
7307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 26, 2019, 02:09:38 PM
A bad run out. Grandhomme took too much risk but I do not blame him. It was needed. I am expecting 240 ish run. It's very hard to say now who will win but I will still side for New Zealand. May be this will be a very close match, whoever wins.
7308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 26, 2019, 02:07:23 PM

New Zealand are building a partnership with Neesham and Grandhomme in the crease and with 4 overs to go they might well score over 230 runs and if Pakistan is not able to pick wickets they might target to score over 250 runs to have a total to defend and New Zealand does have good bowlers who could swing the ball and create all the problems for the fragile Pakistan batting line up and if they do not play sensibly it will be a big total to chase if they score close to 250 runs.
Seems like the momentum has changed. It's with New Zealand now.

Even if they do 230 runs still they will give a hard fight to win it. In this stage of cricket mindset is very important. Pakistan needs the momentum and the confidence that they can win.

What bets did everyone else go with today?
After losing the bet for England against Sri Lanka, I did not place any bet out of my pocket. The losing amount was 0.05BTC which gone out of my budget.

I used my free bet other day that got from my round winning but did not have any luck. Had some free bet in sportsbet too and lost them as well. So, I am considering myself out of luck and keeping myself away from losing more.

At the moment I am just trying to enjoy the match. Good thing that I am taking a break or I would lose more today coz for sure my bet would be for the Kiwis.

WOW!
The world cup is becoming more entertaining as the days are going. I can see New Zealand is losing this match and that is going to make England upset. As the days are progressing, the chances for England is fading and chances for Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are increasing.

I will wait till the end of this match. If there are no drama then Pakistan should win this match.

Pak started their innings with a wicket in the second over and need to remember they are playing against the one of the best team at the moment.

Can Pakistan continue to do this throughout their innings?
Williamson is the key of the Kiwi's inning. So, taking him early will be a game changer for Pakistan or Kiwi's will go for a big score. If Kiwi's score 300+ then the match is gone.
7313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 26, 2019, 09:25:19 AM
Battle between Pakistan vs New Zealand is 40 minutes away I think. They delayed the toss however seems like we will see a full match anyway. The inform New Zealand will be winning this match easily I think.

The unpredictable Pakistan will have no chance in my opinion unless they can do anything about Kane Williamson. English supporters will cheer for New Zealand for sure to keep their hopes alive for the Semi.

I see a lot of us still have not picked our team. I suggest to do it. The free pick you only get for 5 matches so if you are expecting a free winning pick and if you already had five picks then you are going to be doomed :-P

Edit:

Toss at 11am. Start at 11.30am. No overs lost.

0 Points for me Sad England lol, like I said they should start practise for the Ashes Cheesy
Next match is with India - they are going to lose
Then the match with New Zealand - May be they will win and if they do then England's point will be 10

6 - Sri Lanka (against: SA, WI and India)
7 - Bangladesh (against: India Pakistan)
5 - Pakistan (Against: NZ, Af and Bangladesh)

I see Pakistan will win against Af, lose against NZ but not sure about Bangladesh (may be they will lose, Bangladesh is a better team). So, Pakistan is going to have 7 points.

Bangladesh will win against Pakistan and hard to tell about against India but lets just say they will lose against India. So, Bangladesh will have 9 points.

Sri Lanka will lose against India. Not sure about SA and WI but let's say they will win one. So, Sri Lanka will have 8 points.

Man! The table will be wide open for Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan if England lose against New Zealand.

I am enjoying it :-D

Starc has dismissed Strokes with the yoker. I must say that this is the best yorker of this world cup. I have watched its replay 20 times.
Its just out of this world.  Wink
Stokes had no idea what was coming. He was expecting a length ball but that yorker was too quick even to block. I too think and the commentators was also saying that it was one of the best yorker.

AND...... Australia won by 64 runs. The missing is getting harder for England.

No two points for me and vishnu :-P

England will Win the Match comfortably during 49 overs, with loss of 6 wickets and 2 points are mine along with other fella Cheesy

Nope I am not drunk or stoned Cheesy
When I get too drunk I feel the same that I am not drunk :-P Take a nape and you will come back to reality :-)
7317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 25, 2019, 03:10:24 PM
So now it's up to Stokes and Buttler. The top order of England has failed today shamelessly. I do not think they have any chance today unless this partnership breaks any world record. I am not sure about the record partnership in the 5th wicket but assuming it's something 150+.

Good luck three lions.

Root is obviously a lost cause (why did I bet on the English top order when they have been consistently inconsistent?!) but Starc could save the day with 2 wickets already.

You have very good chance with Starc. In his last spell he will get few more wickets from the yorker balls.

Hehehe btw If England get kicked out from tournament then I am going to troll Nasser Hussain and Michael Vaughan Cheesy waiting for this opportunity since they beat India in test series lol
Not sure about Nasser Hussain and Vaughan but KP will be so embarrassed. I noticed in few programs Kevin Peterson was proudly predicting that England will be lifting the cup. Others will roast him AF LOL

Bangladesh, Srilanka and Pakistan fans are smelling the chance to get no 4 spot for semis.

And I am worried about not to get 2 points in the pool :-P

They way the innings is progressing, this will be either a trashing win or easy win for Australia even though they managed to score only 285 LOL

Pool English media and supporters (I am one of them unfortunately).

England struggling at 26/3 after 6.0 overs. The only positive for them is that Bairstow is still there. As I had predicted, the Australian pacers made the life miserable for the English batsmen. In case they lose this match, then they'll move one step closer to crashing out of the tournament. The toss made a lot of difference and the English were right in choosing to field first. But despite that they are about to lose.

The difference between England and South Africa is: SA were easy to eliminate from the first round and England is just making it hard, some resistance only but eventually they will be eliminated.

Again they say this English team is the best ever team in English cricket history LOL

This meant to happen. I never had much confidence with the English team even they say that this team is their best ever. I was expecting them to go to the Semi easily but now it looks like team like Bangladesh or Sri Lanka can take it away from them.

So far poor performance from English team in this match. They need to turn the table around if they wants to win this match and keep their hope intact for the Semi.

Edit: Shame. Morgan gone! This was not necessary. Why did he had to take this shot?
