http://thegipster.blogspot.com/2013/06/gold-in-them-bits-inside-worlds-most_30.htmlSonny Chris Vleisides, who pled guilty to one count of mail fraud in 2010 (PDF) for being involved in an international lottery scam, is an executive at BFL. Jeff Ownby, vice president of marketing and e-commerce at BFL, told Ars that Vleisides is the “lead product developer—he’s the guy who dreams up the projects," though he declined to provide more details beyond that. By Vleisides’ own account on a Bitcoin forum, he’s the president of a hosting company called Webspawner.com—but it's not clear if he has a background in electrical engineering or hardware design. BFL didn’t make that target, and as such, it said it donated 1,000 BTC to the Bitcoin Development Fund (BDF). However, the BDF appears to have been created in May 2013 and provides no documentation that it is, in fact, a bona fide charity or nonprofit organization. Its website lists no actual people, street addresses, or phone numbers.
In fact, it turns out that BDF was actually started by Butterfly Labs' own employees—a fact disclosed nowhere on the BDF site. When Ars reached out to the only e-mail address listed on the site, the response that came back was from Jeff Ownby, the BFL vice president.
"We initially set up this site for the purpose of distributing the 1,000 BTC that BFL committed to donate," Ownby told Ars. "We set it up like this because we think there is an opportunity to involve other BTC businesses in helping fund projects and charities in the future.

Complaints at Webspawner.com: http://www.000webhost.com/directory/reviews/webspawner.comWebspawner Featured Review
webspawner.com is not a "real" hosting provider. This company provides hosting, but it's not similar to hosting packages offered by other directory_companies.
webspawner.com is nothing but online site builder, actually. You are not allowed to upload existing site here - just create new site using online step-by-step wizard and host it. Site is restricted to single page and has no scripting language or database support, only plain HTML. Forced ads (banner or popup) will be placed on your website, so webspawner.com is just useless junk.
We have no idea why someone would like to go with webspawner.com. It's just not worth to have a website that can not be moved to other hosting later (this company doesn't give even FTP access) and offers just online site building options. Any person (who can spend several minutes reading HTML basics) can create his own website (not just a single page) using normal website editor and host it elsewhere for better results.
We do not recommend webspawner.com in any way... unless you got too much free time in your hands and want to waste it with useless service. Daniel, 12th of August, 2012 I've been with webspawner for three years now and everthing was working fine till they upgraded to a newer version on Msy 17, I cannot edit. and they won't answer e-mails to help me with this problem, and now my website is off the internet with a paid in full for a year and I still have 4more months to go. here is His first message.
Subject: Webspawner Hosting Issues
Dear Daniel,
By now you have probably noticed that the website has been down for almost 27 hours. We are well aware of the situation and are working as hard as we can to restore service.
Rest assured that once we are back up, your websites will be unaffected. The issue involves a router at the main hosting facility.
We have just recently acquired Webspawner.com and are working hard to bring you a new website builder that will allow you to build even nicer websites. Our expected launch date for the new system is March 27.
Included with this upgrade are new servers and a new hosting facility that will assure that things like what happened today will never happen again.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Jeff ownby Webspawner.com
Hello Jeff, my domain is still active. and I do not have a website cause you would not help me get in to my editing. how can we fix that?
Please reply PS: this is not right.
Sincerely,
Danny

Sincerely, Globat But as of September, 2012, Sonny Vleisides was still president of Webspawner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110868.msg1207670#msg1207670Hello, my name is Sonny Vleisides. I've been involved in technology and libertarian focused ventures for most of my adult life. I believe very strongly in freedom, honesty and personal responsibility.
I decided to drop university studies at UMKC back in 1991. My mother wasn't very happy about it, but with youthful ambition and no sense, I set out to travel the world instead. I've lived in Russia, Indonesia, Latin America, Europe etc... Mostly seeking opportunity while trying to learn what I could. Along the way, libertarian ideals became more interesting than any other and looking back, it's clear that's the attraction that's pulled me through life from one focus to the next. The internet was an exciting development. I started webspawner.com in 1995. It was my focus for many years. Do a search for 'free webpages' on google. I'm currently president of that company, not BFL. http://www.bbb.org/southwestern-missouri/business-reviews/internet-services/webspawner-management-service-in-west-plains-mo-13997Additional Information top BBB file opened: 12/21/1998 Contact Information Principal: Jeff Ownby (Owner) Business Category Internet Services, Web Design

Reserved for who is Jeff Ownby. Maybe, just maybe, I can make a connection between him and Sonny Vleisides prior to their partnership at BFL. I know I can already do it with BFL's Bitcoin Development Fund and Sonny's Webspawner.com site, but I want to go further back in time.

Jeff`s In Costa Rica I`m a little late posting this, but I`ve taken a groovy position as Marketing Director of an online gaming company. In order to take the position, I had to relocate to San Jose, Costa Rica. The family will be joining me in a couple of months for a few years of Central American living. So far, so good. It`s beautiful here. I`ll be posting some pictures soon. http://web.archive.org/web/20020814081533/http://www.ownby.com/jeff/portfolio.htmPortfolio
I have been extremely fortunate to have gathered a unique cross-section of experience in my career, so far. In fact, I have already experienced more than most people will during their whole lives.
And I'm not even half finished !
During the last 4-5 years, I have been focusing my career on the Internet and Direct Marketing. I am totally taken by the web, and the possibilities it offers as a direct marketing channel.
One of the greatest things about this line of work is I have been able to express myself creatively while giving clients marketing solutions that are measuable and accountable.
It wasn't much after I had written this page that I started negotiating for a position as the Marketing Director for an online casino......in Costa Rica. I took the job and I'm here now.
Here are just a few of the great clients and projects I have been extremely lucky to have worked with:
I actually design websites too.

So whats the word on your efforts so far Bruno? It's been a few months since an update. I have a date with a hot blonde coming up and I just lost my debit card. I have to say, it would be cool to pay for dinner and some other activities with BTC like a boss. Add me to the list.
Oh and is the cab company accepting BTC yet?
The Cabbie guy is on hold, and as far as the restaurants I had in mind, I put them on hold due to I was in the process of obtaining a Sandwich, IL, restaurant to accept bitcoins until one of its patrons opted to invest in Bitcoinica and now has his money tied up in Mt Gox. That fiasco caused me to lose face at the local restaurant along with having me to relocate two warehouses storing barn wood due to EPA concerns, all stemming from the guy who made a Bitcoin investment thanks to my blessing of Bitcoinica. The last thing I wanted was to lose a good client in Chicago, one of which I believe I can easily convince him in taking bitcoins at all his establishments.

The best way I saw in this forum is making new coins. If you are a programmer you can make new coins and premine some coins for you then release it in this forum.
Pump & Dump and Rinse & Repeat comes to mind.

Except Fab 10 is 130nm and I haven't see any news about it being upgraded to 110nm or smaller. Presently, TSMC's Fab10 mainly uses 180-nm process and turns out about 45,000 wafers per month. After the capacity expansion is completed, the foundry factory's monthly output will be expanded to over 49,000 units at the end of this year. Furthermore, the firm is also going to upgrade the factory's production process into 130-nm, which will further drive up its maximum output. http://www.thefreelibrary.com/TSMC+ready+to+expand+output+at+Fab10+in+Shanghai.-a0235281019Thanks good call. If it's anything like last year, the chips flew into Shanghai's Export Processing Zone (EPZ) for customs processing. Not sure what happened this time, but they expected only a 2-3 day additional customs clearance delay last time: Let's be frank. We ran into a potential delay of 4-7 days.
What does this mean?
We when taped out the chips to TSMC we had a "projected out date" of Jan 3, 2013 which is on schedule with our late dec. / early jan. demonstration dates. Now however after this week's website update our "projected out date" has changed to Jan 7th, 2013 and "committed date" has been revealed to be Jan 10th, 2013. TSMC did not give us a reason for this, but as a small customer you are really at the mercy of bigger customers running higher priority lots. e.g. "super hot lot" The "committed date" is the promised date of delivery, it is very unusual for TSMC to break their "committed date", so we expect our chips to ship on or before Jan 10th, 2013.
Another potential problem is Customs clearing, the packaging company Fujitsu is located in Shanghai's Export Processing Zone (EPZ), while the packaging itself will not see delays, it may take an additional 2-3 days to clear Customs. To make up for this, if it occurs, we will be flying down to Shanghai to the demonstration in the EPZ instead of waiting for the shipping to the factory for assembly.
With all this happening, it has burned through the 1 week additional leeway time we originally left out. I must say it will be difficulty for us to ship on Jan 14th, we however expect to ship around Jan 18 ~ 20. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=120184.0I've said it before, and I'll say it again: There's more than one person writing copy under that account.

y'all already know where the BFL warehouse is.
some of you guys should be good enough to ninja in the facility to install a hidden camera by the dock(?) area if any to see how much shit they ship a day.
do a surveillance or some shit like that.
nobody thought about that?
Maybe I have, or maybe I haven't, either way there's a hotel a block away of which some of the rooms have an excellent view of the dock. I'm just sayin'!

Josh, why you so douchy tho?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superiority_complex" The superiority complex is one of the ways which a person with an inferiority complex may use as a method of escape from her or his difficulties. She or he assumes that she or he is superior when she or he is not, and this false success compensates her or him for the state of inferiority which she or he cannot bear. The normal person does not have a superiority complex, she or he does not even have a sense of superiority. She or he has the striving to be superior in the sense that we all have ambition to be successful; but so long as this striving is expressed in work it does not lead to false valuations, which are at the root of mental disease." They're also known to paint their poodles rainbow colors.

I was just looking over the List of evidence against Sonny in a previous thread and some common themes jumped out at me
Sonny is the king of the LONG CON ...not the fast.. wham.. bamm... "HE STOLE OUR MONEY" deal but the LONG CON !!
On the indictment documents he had pplz "INVEST" 26 million and returned 9 million with theft of 15 million
So long story short he will steal 2 out of three dollars..currently backorder queue is sitting @ ~ 10.9% of shipped units on a weighted average of all product lines
in about 3 weeks he will be off probation so I think we are getting to his "See you later moment "
AWESOME!
I will now formally request from Sonny Vleisides' probation officer a statement regarding him and BFL. I want a fuckin' piece of paper in my slimy barn wood stealing hands reflecting that Sonny Vleisides has been serving his probation period without one iota of an issue. This way it puts the probation officer's neck on the line if BFL ceases to exist after September 15, 2013. These lyin' fuckin' clowns are goin' down one way or another. I guess that explains why BFL never sued me for defamation, libel or slander. Because why give a lawyer money that can be used in Sonny's new lifestyle after he dissolves BFL. Perhaps Sonny will pull a Francisco Hernando and move to Equatorial Guinea to base his next long con from.

Who's deploying then? The network hashrate seems to be going up in lockstep with the amount of hashrate we are shipping out, give or take a slight deviation.
It's like High School, show your work (math) or you get no credit. Much like I told Flying Hellfish, once you become an adult, you will realize that reality (and the rest of the world) does not care about you. Reality is what it is, you can accept it or deny it, but it will still be reality. Nothing needs to be proven, no work needs to be shown. You either accept reality or you deny it, the choice is up to you. Reality doesn't care about you and what you believe, and just like I told Mr. Hellfish, neither do I. Once I become an adult? Listen kid I have shoes older than you. You will need to show your work, it will happen right after you hear the words: "Will the defendant please rise" You will care......soon. You have shoes older than me? Did you steal them from your daddy? From the way you write, I'd put you at about 15 or 16. Prove me wrong. Show your work. And by Show your Work, I mean try to write a post that isn't full of juvenile stupidity. Good luck, I'm betting you'll need it. YOU SEE THAT! Josh completely ignores the FCC posts, opting to talk about shoes. Seriously, this boy ain't right!

Based on what I've read, you self test for FCC compliance. You do not file something with the FCC. The FCC can request from your company a copy of your testing. If they find that you're in violation, they can have you stop shipping out products or fine you (Or both). BFL doesn't have to file anything with the FCC unless that is requested of them.
So I think you're banging your drum about a situation that doesn't exist. You'd basically have to prove to the FCC that BFL is in non-compliance, they'd have to request from BFL the testing results, and then if they are incorrect, then maybe they'd fine them until they are compliant.
Everyone with a non-compliant machine gets to fix it themselves, because the FCC requires the OPERATOR to fix the device, not the manufacturer. So if you manage to prove that your device isn't compliant, you also get to not use it any more unless you can fix it so it is compliant.
The point isn't whether BFL is compelled to get FCC certification. The point is that BFL boasted that they were "two weeks" from getting it back in November of 2012. Phineas is just reminding BFL of their promises, and of the fact that BFL was boasting about a certifying product that could not possibly have existed at that time (given what we know now). Allow me to reply to this post prior to reading subsequent posts. This is exactly correct! I could care less about ANY FCC or UL requirements on BFL products. This is not the issue! The issue is that Josh, speaking in the capacity of BFL, lied... Let me repeat that-- JOSH LIED! ... about BFL being in the process of getting FCC certification. And that lie only had one purpose--to pacify those in the market for ASIC-based bitcoin miners so that BFL would recognize more sales. Josh's lie with his FCC statement accomplished that feat. If only one person purchased because of said lie, than the sale was conducted under false pretense. Sadly, we're not talking about a single buyer, but thousands. Ironically, those thousands of buyers have yet to receive what they paid for after that November 2012 announcement by Josh Zerlan was made. I repeat, not a single November 2012 order has been processed, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jody already printed out FedEx shipping labels for such while caressing her 63-year-old cameltoe. If a company is capable of lying about something so mundane as having their entire mining rig line in the process of getting FCC certification, what the FUCK else are they lying about? And what the fuck is wrong with you people who stand behind BFL espousing that BFL is not lying about anything? If Sonny Vleisides is a Saint since he claimed to turn over a new leaf after serving his felony conviction for fleecing the elderly outta hundreds of millions of dollars with his 15 year running lottery scam, then I will start sucking dicks. Prove to me Sonny's a Saint, and I'll show you one happy cocksucker--ME! (No offense to the gay community!) Bottom line, people who ordered based on Josh's statement about the FCC certification which is a proven lie have to now claw like animals to obtain a refund. Those who don't request a refund and receive there equipment months from now are double fucked. BFL was once in position to be the shining star of the Bitcoin community. Sadly, they will become a Super Nova, competing in brightness to Avalon. My next thread will be all about Jeff Ownby. You're goin' love it!

Here is more details: 1) Volume of 10 BTC: arbitrage opportunity in orderbooks (MKT Price %) - 14.109 % arbitrage realized in trades (VWAP Traded %) - 14.337% 2) Volume of 10 BTC arbitrage opportunity in orderbooks (MKT Price %) - 14.451 % arbitrage realized in trades (VWAP Traded %) - 14.522% 2) Volume of 100 BTC arbitrage opportunity in orderbooks (MKT Price %) - 14.157 % arbitrage realized in trades (VWAP Traded %) - 14.523% Interesting that there are also both 1000 BTC Volume and 10000 BTC Volume arbitrage percent visible. Although MKT Price arbitrage is less than 12% for 1000 BTC Volume. And for 10000 BTC Volume it even negative for half of last 24hours. While realized arbitrage in trades shows significant percent for 1000 and 10000 BTC Volume. As high as 14.025 %. Interesting... Jesus fuckin' Christ! This is what I've been looking for for the past couple days: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=274142.0
