Unless I'm a idiot, I don't believe there's an official thread for this conference/meetup. I did search, and if there is, please accept my apologies. Since I'm making arrangements now to attend, I will be manning this thread.

I'm going to make my barn-wood-board-to-be-signed proposal really simple. I see that Austin and Beccy are going to attend the Crypto-Currency Conference in Atlanta. Since I'm now planning on attending, I'll simply bring the board with me, whereupon them seeing it they'll have an opportunity to embrace or nix the idea. No hard feelings if the latter. In fact, I'll bring two boards, so that they've have a choice, using the other board to be signed by the conference-goers.

Details on that event in Atlanta? When where? I never hear about these things until it is too late! Smiley

First off, never quote me until I'm done editing my post.  Grin

Secondly, I'll only answer your question if you're leaving your lovely wife home. I got robbed in KC.  Grin

Finally, since I like you: http://www.cryptocurrencycon.com/

At the end of the conference, there can be an informal auction to sell the signed board with the proceeds going toward Austin and Beccy's trip. Of course, it will be filmed, with the winner playing a more prominent role in the upcoming documentary.

Great! You'll back in the states just in time for CRYPTO-CURRENCY-CON 2013 in Atlanta. If so, I'll pay for your ticket. That goes the same of Jason King and edd. I'm making plans on attending.

I will not be part of your meme scheme, unless I talk the pic.

Further proof that it's a Gorn.

On their first date he'd asked how much she thought Edgar Allan Poe's toe nails would sell for on BitMit, and on their second he paid for pizza with bitcoins he gleaned from a now defunct faucet, but he was otherwise charming and she thought that they could have a perfectly tolerable life together, in spite of him not radiating a new mining rig bouquet.

Nice story dood! How did you do that in that little time??!
I struggle to write 1 page for english homework -_-
The secret is in his username.

And that he's probably in the UK due to the time zone and English spellings.

What are we talking about here?

The other day, theymos had something crawling up his leg inside his pants. When he pulled down his pants to investigate, some creature took to running. Theymos quickly grabbed his camera and snap the image depicted in the OP of this thread. We're just trying to help him out by identifying it. Do you have any clues as to what it looks like?
6494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Instawallet claim process on: September 20, 2013, 07:37:01 PM
I literally can't believe your response.

Throughout the whole process I have been fair and patient. You on the other hand have been less than communicative and have angered many people. (Most of which I have tried to placate as i felt you were doing your best)

I claimed for my wallets using your process that you put in place. This process was designed to prove that the wallets people claim for are rightfully theirs. I proved to you that the wallets I claimed for were mine.

I then received an email from Richard Caetano on your team. This email had you CC'd in. The contents of the email are very clear.

"Hello,

I'm writing in regards to your last wallet.  We have identified it as one of the wallets that the hacker emptied out.  We have reported this information to the French police's cyber-crime unit.

If you would like to report this to your local authorities we can certainly provide them information on the hack.  Here's the claim from that wallet for future reference"

I instantly replied and then again a week later as i had no response. After seeing you posted on the forum last night i thought i would take the opportunity to try and reach you while you were online and you respond by posting my personal info on the forum. You justify this by saying if I didnt want to get public I should use PM even though this is the thread that you have specifically said any comments or questions should be directed to.

I really am amazed that you are behaving in this way.

At least you get emails. I have to patiently wait till after the refund rounds are over to get paid for accounts since two are both over the 50 BTC, one which considerably. One other is under 1 BTC, of which is being disputed due to two others having claims on it, from what I can ascertain when I was able to view the status on their site.

I have scaled back my vitriol attacks 100% due to an email I received months ago instructing me to do such if I'm ever going to see my bitcoins again.

Now, I get the following for all three wallets.

6496  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: http://www.asic-technologies.com is a SCAM on: September 20, 2013, 03:13:44 PM
I found the payment address where you sent your BTC to, your 7.4 was deposited to his address:

https://blockchain.info/address/1ibY2cWoEYFVM2bRXaNVm2brBD1uvrjUg

then 4 hours later he moved them to: https://blockchain.info/address/1GZ4tmYfmPraXasbEP5s2yGurVjFGnKzP

then 2 hours later to : https://blockchain.info/address/1Ed9fffb8wvfsxp5kvNDcXLjcvxN4Bf43V

1 hour later he moved it to an address which has has received 734btc in total https://blockchain.info/address/1FCENEkkw45bhXZmW4ih74SR659CC5B2Le

from there it goes everywhere, I stop looking....

This is exactly what I discovered upon reading the plight in the Scam Section.

I'm surprised there wasn't a printer port next to the audio port.

Nice article here about homeless people using Bitcoin.

Including quotes from Jason and mention of his project...

Just found and read it myself. Thanks for providing the link, bud.
6498  Other / Meta / Re: Images on this site on: September 20, 2013, 09:10:58 AM
You can use photobucket, or tinypic, or if you have your own website, they can be uploaded there too.
I recommend https://minus.com/ (has https support) or http://imgur.com/. Neither of them require registration, or require a captcha when uploading. Plus both give direct links for full sized embedding.

Or you can Google an image using keywords like some do, but I loathe such practice. For instance, when I Google the word lunch...

To view the URL of the image, hit the quote button of this post and see it between the img tags.
