Thanks for the heads (no pun intended) up. BTW, how do Aussies pronounce Woolloomooloo when they're drunk?

Woolloomooloo Police: We have reason to believe you've been drinking. Pronouce Woolloomooloo.

Suspect: You got me, dude! Here's my Bong Bong driver's license.
6562  Other / Off-topic / Re: Phin gets turned on: September 16, 2013, 10:34:03 PM

Are you implying that you reversed a stance upon seeing proof of some sort?

For the record, I didn't do a complete 180. One of the main reason for considering abandoning my attacks is that it started to effect me health/mental -wise. It got to the point that each day I was looking forward to coming to some BFL thread to see how I could add to the drama with or without proof. Believe me, I could take what I witnessed at the lab and turn it into a real shit storm, but the bottom line is that I do feel all will be shipped regardless of any underlying nefarious activities that may be taking place, none of which nobody probably would be able to prove if such exist. We can all speculate, which I have, but that wouldn't be a formal proof, albeit if we add enough speculation we could have some drama. Been there, done that.

Keeping a civil fire under their ass may be warranted to keep them in check. Today's the 16th, and unless I missed something, Sonny hasn't left the country. Perhaps, he's goin' for the longeeeer con.

If nothing else, I hope others have considered no longer attacking Jody, with only being ill toward her on a more civil level if such actions are warranted.

Via a PM, the following transaction: http://blockchain.info/tx-index/aa246e3775a8d3d1500420ffed9c739a7f26a34d1c1d7bc66c8b6c9c65828c6c

Don't know why the person opted to do it this way oppose to on this thread, but will respect their anonymity. This equates to feeding 50 people.

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/Levels_of_Giving.html

I can see the appeal.  Sometimes you want to be anonymous because it is about the work being done, not about the giver.

Nice link. Thanks, bud.

In my mind, I was hoping for only 20-30 at most within the first 24 hours, but now it's not outside the realm of possibility to see 1000.

[788] people fed!
6565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Mega Thread that Feeds People in Need (1M72Sfpbz1BPpXFHz9m3CdqATR44Jvaydd) on: September 16, 2013, 09:42:49 PM

If I did the math correct, this transaction equates to feeding 15 people. Somebody correct me if I'm in error, for that's what I'm putting in Post #2.

Thanks so kindly, bud.

When I started this thread, I only envisioned a slew of $1.25 donations with possibly a small handful give more. As seen in Post #2 of this thread, but the reverse is happening. You people are so weird, but in a good way.

Not cryin', but full of goosebumps, dud. Totally rad (assuming this word is still in vogue)!

Holy shit! I misread your intent. I thought you were only sending $1.25, somehow glancing over the word coin. I was asking for proof so that I can add [1] to the tally, but now I have to add another 100. Awesome, dude.

If one of his main opponents desires, they could turn this into a federal test case for the Supreme Court.

This is fuckin' great! But, you do realized you made Jason King cry, don't you?

Just sent 1 coin.  Thank you so much for doing this!

Would you be so kind as to add the Blockchain hash link so that I can this to Post #2?

EDIT: Jason and I were posting at the same time. Go ahead and cry!  Grin

Address Bump: 1M72Sfpbz1BPpXFHz9m3CdqATR44Jvaydd

Will add that to Post #2 and make sure it's highlighted enough in the OP.

If nobody sees anything wrong with PanPeru, perhaps Rassah will be sending the $1,000 USD tomorrow.

Yeah, I thought the PanPeru site was dope. I am all about those guys getting some BTC100 love.

Boy, this is sick (term)! This 53 year old fart had to go to Urban Dictionary to look up the word dope as used in context above. I remember thinking that groovy was cool when I first heard it on the Brady Bunch in '69.

Holy shit! She ain't dead yet?

This was my first time spending bitcoin, I think this is the link you need? https://blockchain.info/tx/4470e09b67f32c2559b72659160ab9293eb586ee046636c713ba2b802192b78b

I bought ten lunches Smiley

Awesome, once more. Will up Post #2 in a sec.

BTW, if anybody wants to following the lead of this thread and take the incentive to do the same over at Reddit or some other social media site, please do. But please realize that it'll take a little work to man it properly. Once a day or so, post in this thread the current or running tally so that I can add it to Post #2 of this thread.

To date, the following number of people will be fed:

[23]
6575  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin 100: Developed Specifically for Non-Profits on: September 16, 2013, 06:39:08 PM
off topic but still a free bump:

could you check gamingforgood.net? someone (you) should make them accept bitcoins!

recent news about this charity: http://kotaku.com/league-of-legends-player-raises-106-000-for-charity-in-1277236597

Move from another thread and up for discussion.

Great idea for a thread! Bitcoin is trading at around $125 at the moment so that makes it easy: I'll donate 0.1 BTC (-fee) to feed 10 people:

https://blockchain.info/tx/3a40b60d4634c53da6ea2f074bf470125aab92dc44325d7c30242374e5b914b2

Hope to see this thread grow!

Awesome! At first I thought you made a mistake with the decimal placement till I read further. Following your lead (math wise), I just sent BTC0.01 (I've got to figure out the proper placement of the BTC symbol, moreover, what's more aesthetically pleasing).

Some 12 year old child may be thanking you because of this donation. (no apologies for using child to further this cause, for it's not outside the realm of possibility that that's the case)

Great initiative! I will donate something when I'll get back at home this evening.

Thanks, bud. Hope all is well in TN. BTW, I'm the one who had the contract to set the windows and doors, paint, wallpaper, insulate, and install the metal studs, drywall, acoustic ceilings, and cove base at the then new http://www.williamsonmedicalcenter.org/. Perhaps, one of your kids was born there.

The Anatomy of a Sean's Outpost Sack Lunch. This is the exact meal that is being delivered today.

The sandwich is ham and pepperoni.

Move over Roger Ver! I don't think he could do the same with $1.25 USD. (in ref. to Jesus feeding a group with one fish)

More comments, another donation, and updating Post #2 forthcoming.
6578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why the Bitcoin community HAS to save the network from HashFast, CoinTerra, BFL. on: September 16, 2013, 09:21:32 AM
Interesting.
I will take part for 1 chip, once the 10 eminent members are known.

I suggest Rassah as one, if this proves viable and he's available depending on RL commitments and interest.

For those who keep saying that they have already missed their ship date I present a question;

If even 1 Jupiter ships before the end of September, then they have kept their word. would this not be a success? Have the bets that have been placed taken this into account rulewise?

I don't even think it would take that.  Since KnC is hosting for purchasers, all they need to do is have one in the rack on the pool hashing.

I just hope it's mine ;-)  I ordered in the first 3 hours... here's to hoping that was soon enough lol

If it's yours, it will always be referred to as the HU (Henson Unit).  Grin

Hey guys, the evil meta tag is still there:

    <meta name='robots' content='noindex,nofollow' />

This meta tag needs to be removed. There is a setting in Wordpress which allows you to be indexed in the search engines, that should be enabled. If you use some funky theme plugin, sometimes there are option there too. As long as this issue persists you have zero exposure on any search engine. It's REALLY BAD for publicity.

Life on Bitcoin

I partnered with a few friends to work on a feature-length documentary following a newly married couple living solely off of bitcoin for their first 90 days of marriage. I created the website and developed some tracking tools to monitor the real-time progress of the crowdfunding campaign.

Wow! When I set up WP sites, one of the first things I do within 60 seconds is tick/untick the robot box. In fact, by default its configured for the search engines to spider the site. One has to manually/purposely tick the box so that that's no longer the case.

I messaged Connor Boyack about this meta-tag issue, and I know he has been swamped. I'll follow up with him again. Thanks for honey badgering us Smiley

If I didn't like you, I would have considered sticking up your donkey further. We're sure it'll be rectified soon, otherwise a reminder will be in order. Look at it this way: By not having the site indexed, it's a disservice to all those who donated $72K via Kickstarter. There are ever sponsors mentioned on the site that aren't getting any juice.

No matter how swamped Connor is, this it truly only a 30 second task.

I look forward to your PM, and hope I'm able to meet them on their way through Illinois.

Would they be interested in being on a radio show in Chicago?
