the bestest way to join a sig camping but the sig campigns not allowed to newbies only starts from members..
you can buy member accounts full member ( i m selling) and earn
or invest..

or convert the cash into btc and invest or gamble all away
or just scam.. xD that is not prefer.
dont ask for loan if you are a newbie.. but ask for loan with a collateral.

Newbies can join the 777coin and scratchticket sig campaign.

Account buying is not really a good idea IMO, as the account seller can recover the account back when he want to, by sending theymos a PM.

But can't the buyer show proof? Posts of selling the account by actual owner. Anyway, it shouldn't be promoted. Try to be active and not to scam and you can study many new things from here and with that your ranks will be higher even if you didn't notice.

Very nice, very nice...

(Quick question: where has John gone?)
John is very busy in his personal life just because of this now not giving too much time here

John was last active on 30th July which is not far. IMO, too much time isn't needed here, just some helpful posts. Smiley

What exactly does the bootstrap.dat file contain? Is it simply an archive of the blockchain itself?

bootstrap.dat contains all blocks.  See this thread to describe how to torrent and use it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145386.0

Yes. The thread contains all info. In short, it contains Blockchain data - blocks.

i think with give notice to aware of spamming to get banning account tell  them before go to post anything .
sometime who not spam .still get judge of spam .

That's why there is rules. They can read the rules before posting it. I agree that some can be judged even if they don't spam but it is quiet natural as mods cannot always be 100% accurate. If mods can be active then it would be better to warn them before deleting and they can choose whether to delete it or not. If this is applying, then there should be an option to reply, so that the person who was warned can give detail about their post. If the mod thinks the post is spam, then they can delete it. Anyway it need an active mod and mod will need a great effort.

7545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever reach $1000 dollars again? on: August 04, 2014, 01:23:29 PM
I think it'll go over $1000 again.  But something will probably replace it because bitcoin is too slow for actual real world transfers.

This is an interesting debate. I have wondered if there is another coin right now which could replace Bitcoin due to slow confirmations. Honestly though, Bitcoin is the only coin that I see getting real support and traction in the industry in terms of atms, and actual large companies accepting it like Expedia for travel, etc. Are there other coins that people see getting powerful industry support?

Bitcoin is the topmost coin, in considering everything except transaction time but I think its natural. Litecoin is coming somewhat near. It isn't accepted in large companies but is accepting by medium companies which may change in future. I still don't think it can replace BTC but can be nearer or equal to BTC.

7546  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: August 04, 2014, 01:13:34 PM
They sold a bunch of ant miners on eBay, and a few tiny mining gigs, so their ebay feedback is beside the point really, since presumably they're still paying out the 1gh/s contracts they sold on ebay in satoshis lol

They still have PBmining contracts on Ebay that you can purchase with actual money?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-GHS-on-PBMining-BITCOIN-Cloud-Mining-contract-weekly-payout-ASIC-BTC-CEX-IO-/221509833429?pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item339303d2d5

I am not questioning there feedback I just thought they could get in serious trouble if they are doing this and it was a ponzi..

I don't think EBay is looking for scams. They won't get in trouble unless somebody report it but I don't think anybody will do it as they are paying correctly.

ABOUT FEEDBACK : Feedbacks will be both fake and real(not telling pbmining's feedback is fake). Anyway they are legit in paying and all.

7547  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 04, 2014, 01:08:43 PM
I've had to sell it, but I'll buy again if there's an android app and included otg cable.

We're cooperating with Android wallet devs, Trezor should work on Android soon(ish). Then we'll offer bundle with OTG cable as well...

Any idea on bringing it on IOS?

so is this gonna be the last round of this campaign? or he just meant the "last round" of last week?  Grin confusing ehh?

OP should have used "previous round" instead "last round", and the meaning would have been more clear. Smiley

He said clearly, IMO but can be better if he used 'previous'.

Also, when reporting posts, there should be some options to choose exactly whats wrong with the post.

Stackoverflow has it:

Click here if the image doesnt load

Yeah! It would be nice but I don't think it is really needed as we can tell mod why we are reporting. Anyway it can be used for categorizing the reports, which IMO, would be helpful to mods.

And this is why i don't give my ID to anyone on internet, not even bitcoin exchanges.

I would definetly refuse to give any personal info to these exchanges, we all know how easily they can be hacked.. CoughGOXcough

Yes. It is very dangerous. In most cases I leave sites which ask my ID and such things. I don't why they need it, Bitcoin is anonymous, so why don't the exchanges make it like that? Not only the sites, our uploading a can be in the server for sometime and it can bd accessed very easily.
Btw nice post. I hope this can save some. Smiley

Could you add public notes for payments?
It is very hard to keep track which transactions comes from here without public notes like freebitcoin has.

Getting a vanity address like 1ChekIn would be a good solution, but that means there would have to be 1 central payout address, and I don't know how luckycheckin.com pays out. And public notes are always a good idea, to see where that random payment came from.

It's good idea about unique address. And I dont clearly understand what is "public notes" ? Can you explain what is it?

When you sent payments, there is an option to add text which will show in Blockchain. It will be very good to get good attention. Try to use it, next time onwards.. Adbit.co is also using public notes. I think you have seen it. Smiley

7553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earning on: August 01, 2014, 02:07:54 PM
You can earn bitocoin the same way you earn a living.

Start a business or offer a service and accept the payment in bitcoin.

If you are offering a service then shorten urls using coinurl and also for downloads you can use pay per download sites which accepts BTC. I don't know where it would be worth getting BTC from faucets when considering electricity. You can join signature campaigns to get some BTC but don't post spam. Smiley You can convert fiat currency to BTC and sell it when the price increases if you want profit from it. There are lot of methods to get BTC. Anyway some methods may seems easy but it's risky. Eg: trading.

7555  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ANN] Hardware wallet project on: July 29, 2014, 12:30:43 PM
1. You connect the device into the USB and run Bitcoin wallet software
2. It automatically recognizes the device (by matching VendorID and ProductID of USB bus)
3. Software ask for master public key. Then it will be able to show your addresses and their balances.
4. When you want to send some coins, software creates template of bitcoin transaction and send it to wallet device.
5. Device displays transaction summary on its display and ask you to confirm transaction by pressing hardware button
6. Device signs transactions using private key stored in the device and sends signed transaction to desktop software.
7. Desktop software sends signed transaction to the bitcoin network.

Will it be safer to connect it OS where viruses and key loggers are likely to be found(except Linux-based) ? I think it will better to send using Wifi though a new wallet should be made/modify according to Trezor. Home-network will be most secure. It should be encrypted with WPA not WEP as WEP bypassing softwares have been introduced. BTW great project.

what's the best way to sell my Pyramining account on this forum?

As it is down, I don't others will buy. Sad But you can give it a try posting in marketplace. Accepting Altcoins would be great to get good attention and easy selling. You can exchange it for BTC later. Wink

7557  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which pool will yield the most bitcoins? on: July 29, 2014, 12:00:27 PM
If you're looking for a pool, I'd recommend you look at the pool comparison page which you can find by searching and then find one with low fees, a good interface, and one that's reliable.  Do not go with Ghash please as they are up to something no good, IMHO, or else are just really greedy and don't care about BTC.

IMO it is better to go with Slush's pool @ 2% fee. Now Discussfish is 2nd largest pool but you will have to mine in it at 4% fee.

Which pool would better :
1) Mining in a pool which finds blocks fastly @ 4% fee .
2) Mining in a pool which finds blocks in a time( neither faster nor slower ) @ 2% fee .

I excluded Ghash.io as it doesn't seem good.

7559  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Solo vs. Pool on: July 29, 2014, 11:31:32 AM
all of the above advice is wrong but not that wrong.

1) to solo mine you need to run a server with bitcoin-qt  that means you need to spend  extra power to solo mine

2) if a real pool offered solo mining server  like http://bitsolo.net/ does  you no longer need to spend extra power to solo mine

3) So first advice is you need to decide the power cost you will do to solo mine.

Once you figure the power you need to spend to run a real solo mining setup.  You need to see what pool fees are from a pool on 12th.

Ie if running your own server costs 50 usd a month  and the pool fees on 12th of earnings are  75usd a month for a shared pool.

In the long run solo mining is better

Now everyone above is focused on  variance and leaving out the facts above.

As for variance risk   you can get crushed .

your chance for hitting a block today is 77 to one.

next jump it will go up.

So if you want to solo mine for  12th  1 day on a real server  the cost will be  the .3221 btc you would have earned mining  and the power to run that solo mining server.

Frankly If you know how to set up a server to run the bt-qt in server mode and want to run for 1 day today  you are spending 2 or 3 bucks to run the server and you are spending .3221 btc you would have earned in a regular pool.

so you would spend about 200 usd for a 77 to 1 shot at 1 block.

BTW my vote is run solo 1 day a week run pools 6 days a week.  I do that here with underclock/undervolted usb sticks as a test study. I can't justify running a pc as a dedicated server for solo so I use bitsolo.net

+1.
Nice! Smiley Did you solve any blocks? If you did, how much GHs you had? I hard that you can do Namecoin in bitsolo, is it profitable @ <0.10/watt ?

7560  Economy / Services / Re: [0 avail.] UPFRONT PAYMENTS FOR YOUR SIGNATURE - Limited offer. | lunamine.com on: July 29, 2014, 11:13:01 AM
How I see this campaign is that everyone enrolls every week and then they see if they are accepted. But I do agree that a statement should be made of who won't be enrolled again. I really forgot that.

I understand this can make people angry or upset but there's not a lot of choices.. While everyone gets paid out the same BTC for posts, it is not the same on our end. For us there are some people who are 10 or even 15 times more expensive than others. You can also put it this way - by letting one such guy go, we can take even 10 others to post in his place. Smiley Sounds nicer. Anyways, that's business and as much as we try to make everyone happy (we really do try), we still have to stay profitable.

This round umair127 and Rigon were not accepted.

Can i ask you if the premium that you currently are paying especially to Sr and Hero member it really worth? (for instance, would you prefer 4 members instead of 1 hero?)

It is early to say this with 100% confidence, but.. It is really close. For now we prefer FM because it is easy for SM to get on the unprofitable side - it's a safer bet accepting a new FM. But on the other side, having a few SrM+ helps because of the large logo - each click/sale may cost more, but you get more valuable impressions out of it. Both are important and it's too early to come up more details - we're in the experimental phase currently.

I am really anxious of signing up with you!

yeah I was making a point when your paying is per post and per click but we should not be expected to make a sale if we are getting paid per post.  You had to post my private message to you was unprofessional and should have kept it within that level.  Have a good day.  also im sure you are looking at clicks then at sales also, cause then what kind of results are you talking about, if this is true people wanna know there results, you should tell them, tell me my results, show me a screen shot if you wanna go this far.

I think he posted your PM because you posted a reason telling that he let you go which was unsatisfied.
Kindly,
      MZ
