761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 24, 2023, 07:54:47 AM
Will you feel envious? Ok with it? or motivated?
One thing came to my mind is, there are people meant to be an extremely lucky, that even you're not a regular bettor if it's meant for you no one can take it away. Honestly I envy the person for winning such amount but that's how lottery works, it's more on luck. I'm an occasional lottery bettor. I only buy ticket if I have numbers in mind or my kid's birthday is near.

Obviously, i'm not really a fan of lottery due to the slim chance of winning (though, the jackpot prize is really attractive that can change your life instantly). I still prefer a game that somehow I have a chance to win and not entirely relying on luck.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 24, 2023, 04:45:08 AM
My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?

I bet according to what I can only afford to lose and not because i'm aiming for a huge win. Well it's really nice to be lucky and hit a jackpot but placing bets because you have a target amount to win is not a good idea. Though this depends on the gambler itself on how he/she manage his bankroll.

If your goal is a huge gains then you also need to put a decent amount at stake. Therefore when the situation is not favor in you then it can result to more losses. So it's better to place a bet (that you can afford) because it can turn to huge amount if you're playing a certain game (like slot) that can possibly give a high multiplier and of course a big win.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Belief on: July 24, 2023, 02:03:16 AM
If you want to see a person full of hope and belief, then gamblers are the perfect example. The hope of winning and the belief to win is found in gambling. Even if you tell them that gambling is risky and the result may come out differently (not in his favor), they refuses to accept it and have 100% belief that they will win at any cost.
There are gamblers thinking that way even they know the chances to lose their money is high. It's because of their expectation that gambling is the answer to increase their funds easily. Though we know it's hard to win in gambling, they still keep on playing and just ignore the fact that you can lose your money if you're not lucky.

Well, it's not bad to play and believe you could win however don't get your hopes too high. If you do so, then that's the start of the problem because it can lead to addiction if you can't control yourself since you're hoping to win.

766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 23, 2023, 08:59:06 AM
In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? or  is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?
Just chesk this source
Gambling is already existing for a very long years and it's popular to many people (either online or offline) hence it's not surprising if the number of gamblers are way higher than those investing in Bitcoin. Moreover, why compare Bitcoin into it? Their difference is already explained in your source so if you'll take time to read then you'll understand why.

In addition, many people gamble because of the quick profit and don't want to spend their money on investment since it can take time before they can see the result.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: July 23, 2023, 05:52:40 AM
~snip~

So as a gambler,  I think it better to avod those bonus rather than losing your entire balance trying to meet their requirements,  so at best we must remain thankful to those casinos that have given a low wager requirements because that way player can easily pass through them and come out with something tangible for themselves at the end of the day.
^Definitely right and as a fellow gambler, I completely agree with your perspective. Bonuses offered by casinos can be enticing, but it is important to be cautious about the wagering requirements attached to them or much better to read always the terms or TOS for the sensitive terms. Some bonuses come with very high wagering requirements, making it challenging for players to fulfill them and withdraw any winnings.
Instead of risking your entire balance trying to meet these high requirements, it is often wiser to focus on casinos that offer lower wagering requirements. By doing so, players have a better chance of successfully completing the wagering and walking away with tangible winnings and that is only my personal opinion.
Indeed. When a casino is offering a bonus or promotion without the need for gamblers to make a deposit, that's really attractive since it's free money to play. Gamblers are able to experience and try the games that the casino is offering. However, don't expect to withdraw the winnings easily because certainly it has wagering requirement that a gambler needs to fulfill. If you don't want to deal with these requirements (before you can enjoy your profit from the bonus) then just use your own money to gamble, simple as that.

Thus don't expect the casino to give you free funds to play without conditions because it's a business. They will need these bonus/promotions to attract many gamblers as possible to play on their site. Moreover always read the TOS so you know the rules. It's a basic thing to do that gamblers sometimes ignore for thinking casinos often have the same rules.
768  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 23, 2023, 04:52:31 AM
By the way, RLB coin have risen almost 20% today and currently trading at 0.11$.
Is there any special news due to which this coin got this pump in the price? I wish this price would be sustainable.

Probably this but Im not really sure if this is going to stay like this so probably people are FOMOing with the news then ride the waves. I kinda wish for the RLB price to stay within the range of $0.08 to $0.1 to keep people from using their RLB regularly rather than keeping it as a speculation tool

Yeah but it's all just temporary like all things in with market.  Just a matter of time til you get a good chance to buy at a decently fair price and be able to use RLB despite the volatility.  We can't really expect it to be stable as it's a small market and this is crypto btw.  Volatility is a thing.  I mean BTC is a huge market yet it still goes up and down like it's a small cap stock.

Correct, this market is too much volatile. At one day, RLB token was 18-20% up and today it is 14 percent down trading at $0.097.
These altcoins have no life in themselves, a slight dump in Bitcoin and they dump by a big margin.
Too much volatility in the low cap coins  Huh

I hope people took profit when it was up and those who missed the rally in RLB, can gather some RLB for cheap.  The red selling markets are for the buying but we usually buy when the market is green and already the coins are 10 to 20% up.
The price is 29% down, just shows how volatile it is. Climbing up and now had a correction, currently trading at 0.078. Bitcoin is also declining so it's not surprising if alts (including RLB) are following the movement of the top coin.

Anyway if you're going to look at it in a positive way, well it's an opportunity to take advantage since we don't know what lies ahead. Those who missed to buy RLB at a lower price can now fill their bags, but this is, if you consider it as a good coin to hold. So always DYOR to be aware of worthy coins to invest in when the market is declining.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 21, 2023, 08:53:45 AM
I have heard a lot of people say and believe that "if your product or service is good,  it would sell itself". That's not entirely true.
Marketing is indeed important to spread awareness about your business especially if you're just starting. There should be an allocated budget for marketing and this is for people to know your product and became known to others. However, make sure that your product/services offered are one of the best, because marketing is useless if your product won't meet their expectation. They will just come and go, and just tried your product if the advertisement is really true since it's attractive.

We have also a repair business. We're making sure that every customers leaving our store are satisfied with our service so they can recommend us to others. We market our business through social media since it's free. So far our business is still running for a few years now.
770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies can't profit from crypto without knowing how to trade. Truth or Myth? on: July 21, 2023, 05:55:04 AM
I overheard my coworkers discussing the idea that new investors in crypto cannot make profits without possessing trading skills.
It depends on your way to earn in crypto. In trading, knowledge and skills are crucial to gain as a trader. That's an edge to profit consistently (depending on your strategy too) since you know what you're doing. On the other side, for investors it doesn't necessary to have a certain skills as long as you have basic knowledge on what you should do in order to gain. Moreover there are also plenty of ways to earn in crypto so it's not only limited to trading.

Guys, I mean what other ways can newbies benefit from crypto investment without having to be a day trader or a professional trader.
Investing itself is already profitable if you chose the right coin and that is Bitcoin. You can diversify your capital by investing in alts but if you want to take the safer side then choose Bitcoin. Though it might take time to profit since it's actually good to hold for long period.
771  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you handle borrowers? on: July 21, 2023, 02:25:48 AM
How do you deal with the situation where people who you are close to like family and friends are constantly demanding for one kind of financial assistance or the other.
I help as long as I can in my own little way especially if it's a family. Just like now, my brother had a blood clot operation on his brain. Aside from the financial help that I can give, I'm also one of his companion in the hospital until he's discharged.

How about people who borrow money from you and never return it or even show any effort to make payment back to you, how did you go about the situation?
I experienced this many times and it's really disappointing when someone you trust failed to return the money on the promised date. So you can only borrow if you're responsible, otherwise you can't repeat borrowing from me since I learned my lesson already.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: July 20, 2023, 08:18:57 AM
You don't need Bitcoin first, What you need is a JOB, work on that first.
Exactly. Some investors are thinking investing in Bitcoin can give them profit in a short period. Relying solely with this investment and having high expectation to the point they already count and plan the profit that has never been achieve yet. What investors should do as newbie is fill their mind with knowledge to understand the nature of investing in Bitcoin. If you already know the risk and the possible thing to happen when you invest your money, you'll then grasp that it's not wise to only rely with Bitcoin.

Therefore, it would be better that you have other source of income or a stable job before engaging yourself. This way, you don't have to depend to anyone for your financial needs and can invest freely to Bitcoin using your own money. Moreover, you're capable enough to invest more and not relying solely to your investment.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Help to rescue on: July 20, 2023, 05:27:50 AM
I have DOT in my portfolio and it is down 79% as of today. The amount I've put there is quite big for me. The average buy price per DOT is 25.80USD. The price of DOT today is 5.38.
So the question is what are my options to rescue the money I've put into it? Is there anything I can do or I just wait?
Sell if you can't wait. Hold if you think there's still chance for the price to recover back to value you bought it. Because if you're going to sell now, that means you already give up and tired of waiting.

This is the reason why I don't just invest on just any altcoins, because alts are only good for short term. If you had the chance to gain from your investment, consider taking profit already and take out your capital. So even the price plunged, you have nothing to lose since you're early to take advantage the opportunity to sell at the right time.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I save my brother by investing in btc now? on: July 20, 2023, 03:30:59 AM
sorry,I come from China,The following is translated by machine ,My brother has leukemia. I have already owed  30,000 US dollars. But my brother still hasn't improved. I finally got the bone marrow last week. The doctor said it would cost about 75,000 US dollars. My total assets are about 3,000 US dollars now. If I want to treat my brother. Is it too late to buy btc now?thank you
It's not late to buy Bitcoin if you're going to hold for long period and you'll never lose patience until you reach your target price. But in your case it seems you're going to invest to increase your money. Well, there's nothing wrong with that however investing in Bitcoin is associated with risk and no assurance that you'll gain. Moreover, since your money is not an amount that you can afford to lose (because you'll use it for your brother's medication) it's not advisable to use the money for investment.

Did you try to ask help for any charity institution for your brother? Because in our country, there are certain institution giving financial assistance for hospital bills and medications, as long as you can provide the necessary documents. Anyway, I hope your brother will get well and I admire you for taking good care of him.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 19, 2023, 09:56:25 AM
It is really just that common on having this kind of gender inequality.

In the present world, the trend is indeed towards online gambling. With the emergence of crypto gambling, individuals can hide their identities as many gambling sites allow anyone to participate, providing a level of anonymity. This means that people of various demographics, including men, women, and even minors, can engage in gambling with a sense of equality.
That's the advantage of online gambling and using crypto as currency to gamble. You can play anonymously as long as you're playing below the specific amount of casino to require their customers to abide on their identity verification (kyc).

Thus, regardless of your gender, it's not a problem when playing online. Because anyone can gamble without the need to disclose who you are especially if you value your privacy.
776  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 19, 2023, 03:46:52 AM
Anyway, Roobet is one of the reputable casino existing nowadays and gamblers who are playing on this site already knows it. So it's true that you'll never know how good the site is, if you didn't try it yourself.
You can try new sites with fewer amounts but can't say they will remain same in future also but reputable casinos have managed to build trust over gamblers over time and have no intentions to scam you so they are doing smooth business unlike those who are setup with aim of scamming people.
That's the difference of new and old casinos. That's why if we like to explore a new platform, we need to be cautious by gathering information and using only a small amount to try playing.

On the other side, old reputable casinos are safe to play in since they're already established, trusted by gamblers and plenty of good reviews. Even we sometimes experience an issues, the support is able to address it to maintain their good reputation.
777  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Stay Lowkey lang tayo on: July 19, 2023, 01:29:10 AM
People nowadays showcase their status and flexing expensive things they have. Maybe because its like a stress reliever na parang proud ka sa sarili mo dahil you made it. This risk will take effect if you showcase it too much na akala mo walang matang nagmamatyag sa iyo.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 18, 2023, 10:31:23 AM
What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.
I will never merge our bets or gamble using my friend's account because it can lead to problem. When it comes to money people can become greedy. In this situation the friend justify his reason to have a lion's share because it is his account even he clearly knows that they both risk their money equally.

Well, I can get into fight if a person cheat on me or accused me that i'm a cheater (even i'm not) just because I win. But it doesn't mean we'll going to fight each other, so will try to resolve it calmly and see if it will work.
779  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: July 18, 2023, 04:49:00 AM
As everyone has made it more clear that gambling is a form of being entertained and while going through this, we can also find a means to pick out some opportunities in this for making earnings through it but it must not be forgotten that gambling still remains gambling and not a permanent or best ideal way of making money, if we are interested in making money then we should go after making an investment, so also is what we do being recognized as gambling if we make use of money to bet for it, in doing so, we have also become a gambler at the process.
It is obvious that everyone that enters into gambling want to make some kind of profits from it whether our later interesting becomes a source of entertainment. People make money from gambling and also decided to see it as entertainment which is still very confusing to me. Since we are making money from gambling, I don't see it as entertainment unless we are ready to keep losing in gambling without any problem or caring about our loses. Since we want to make money from it, we become prepared and look for signals or people that will forecast games for us so that we can earn too from the market.
Those who entertain themselves through gambling are prepared to lose their money since they're aware it's likely to happen. But what matter to them is to enjoy the game and satisfy themselves regardless of the result (either win or lose).

We can't deny that what attract the most to gamble the money is because of the profit. If you're lucky it's easy to win in snap, same goes if you're unfortunate, you can lose it all. So if you don't want to lose your money, don't gamble since there are plenty of ways to entertain yourself without the need to stake something valuable.
780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: July 18, 2023, 03:28:49 AM
If you can endure with the current price situation, and hold not to allow any challenges make you to sell in this condition, I guess you will make a huge amount of profits from your holding soon.
Indeed. Only hodlers who can stand holding their Bitcoin for long and won't be discourage even the market turn bearish are the ones who can gain huge in time. However, if you're a weak investors that are easily affected by the correction, it's expected to sell at loss due to panic.

If the price of BTC reach $40k next month will you sell? I know many people will not sell until the price reach $100k, which it will take a long years before such dream will come to pass. What is your opinion.
Many investors have their own set target price to sell and it's not surprising if majority prefer to sell at much higher price. At $40k, I might take profit to enjoy my gains but won't sell it all. I'm optimistic for the future of Bitcoin so it would be wise to keep holding.
