761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash is pumping, why? on: July 03, 2023, 09:40:00 PM
Just another normal day for a useless altcoin.  They get manipulated all the time to catch a quick pump.  I haven't tracked bcash for awhile funny to hear its stick kicking along.  Don't be fooled by it though it will dump just as hard as it pumps.  Nothing moves permanently until bitcoin starts moving.
It was highly suspected as manipulated pump but this have no impact on the market because people already know what will happen next. They're thinking that they could get investors by doing this just like how meme coins got much attention and massive buyers - and they fail their expectations. Yes, this project can't be trusted and how much it pumps these days, the more it drops. And the good thing is that nobody has the guts to participate in their doings, it tells us that they are learning already.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 30, 2023, 12:26:34 PM
Sports betting is currently leading the way with 46% of the total votes. This is not surprising, though, as even in the real world, the sports betting industry is the biggest in terms of attracting bets from gamblers. Additionally, it is a type of gambling where many of us believe we have a chance to win in the long run, hoping to overcome the house edge.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2023, 11:55:17 AM
It's been a few days since I've been analyzing the negotiations/trades that are happening with several NBA teams, especially the last draft.

Wemby is one of the most commented and discussed player nowdays.
I even believe there is a hype.

I clearly remember the Holmgren's injury at the beginning of the last season

Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama are similar players, they are tall, they have good ball handling, they can shoot, they are fast players and they are also skinny and maybe even fragile compared to other NBA players.

Something that worries me is Wemby's body.
Guys, do you believe, Wemby could get injured soon because of his skinny body size?
I will just base on history with regards to 7 foot players in the NBA.

There are many 7 footers that played in the NBA, and not all of them have a long NBA career. Which 7 footer has the longest NBA career? If you know Zydraunas Ilgauskas of the Cavaliers. The old teammate of Lebron. He has the longest NBA career as a 7 footer with 13 seasons. Most of them had short NBA careers, and the main reason is injuries.

Now I'm not saying that Wemby, and Chet will have a short season, but I expect them to be injury prone especially Wemby if his body will stay like that. It's good that Holmgren at least gained weight, and his body frame is better now compare to what it was when he got drafted. For sure it will be the same for Wemby, or else he might be an injury prone player. We know how the pace of the NBA is. It's always very fast.

Wembanyama has been hyped by the media for months already, so I hope that he will reach the expectation of the NBA Fans especially those Spurs fans who have been very happy to get the number 1 pick in this year's draft.

Let's hope he will last. Actually, you forgot to mention Yao Ming, who played 9 seasons with the Houston Rockets but retired at the age of 30 due to injury problems. However, nowadays, medical advancements have made it easier for injuries to heal. What Wemby needs to work on is his conditioning, and I'm sure there are professionals who will take care of him to help him achieve his goals. So let's relax and allow him to enjoy his NBA career.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana’s Cardinal to Shut Down its Operation this July on: June 30, 2023, 02:30:46 AM
This is possibly going to happen from supporting NFT projects, they are not sustainable long term and they'll be losing more and more until it drains their finances.

As Solana's Cardinal announces it Shut down, we can expect more NFT projects will turn down and vanish. I feel bad about these projects during their time and I was been anticipating such situation. This seems will lead to more panic and I wasn't sure if NFT holders still have the chance to sell their coins when most exchanges are not listing them anymore.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market? on: June 29, 2023, 01:02:27 PM
How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market?
Bitcoin reaches almost $60k during the last bull season and it was high compared to the previous ATH. And base on the price trend, therefore, people are thinking it was higher than $60k, and reaching $80 is not quite impossible. In fact, some experts say it will reach $100k, well, I couldn't say no but I want also to keep on the price that was more realistic and approachable. Well, I was hoping that investors won't be hurry selling their BTC once it pumps, otherwise, this will ruins the momentum.
766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: June 29, 2023, 12:32:33 PM

Having the courage to face the risk is a big factor for us to overcome it. This is what can help us to be successful in our trading
action in exchange.

But of course, we still need to know the correct use of trading tools when we actually do it so that we can have a realistic analysis about this matter as long as we also know that you must use our emotions correctly.
As you are in the crypto space, better to expect huge risk than be easy. That is why we should not be confident enough that we only know the basics of trading but also to improve it and continue learning. And talking about being a Good Price Predictor, it was not impossible if we are also in TA. But I believe we don't have to be like that because no matter what we do, it was not the way we succeed in trading as it also matters in every decision we've made and this is really a big factor why many traders fail despite the knowledge they have already.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: June 29, 2023, 11:33:03 AM
These names are quite unfamiliar to me. I only knew a few boxers in the heavyweight division, namely Fury, Joshua, Usyk, and Wilder. However, upon checking, I discovered that Zhang is currently the WBO champion. Now, I'm interested in watching this fight, and I'll begin by watching some of his fight highlights.

Are there any available betting odds for this particular fight yet?
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 29, 2023, 11:06:33 AM
No odds yet but I do think DYIP would still be the underdog on the second game while the first game will be even more or less.
What was the reason, mate? I believe Ginebra won their last game, so they should have gained confidence for this one. While DYIP may have had a good run, Ginebra possesses the heart of a champion. If they end up being the underdogs, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to bet on them.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 28, 2023, 09:52:04 PM
Selling properties and going all in bitcoin should be based on the understanding about the person on bitcoin. It is one's own earning and he have got the right to risk. It can be on bitcoin or the property can be left to grow in value over time. Most were success stories when investment were made after selling properties and valueables. Recently on person posted the incident of selling all his wife's jewels and buying bitcoin. Surely this could've given him with the best and no one lands in loss investing in bitcoin. The difference in time for growth could vary. We should have the patience to enjoy the real growth of bitcoin.
It is our mindset that investing in Bitcoin will make us rich. Perhaps it can be possible but can't ignore the possibility that this will be a reason for major losses as we don't have 100% assurance of ROI. I'd still wanted to remind the golden rule of investing crypto - only invest the amount that we can afford to lose. And the case of selling some properties just for the seek of starting a Bitcoin investment, I really don't think it was the best option. But if that person has the capability to do it without any worries, then why stop them?
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: June 28, 2023, 09:34:06 PM
May I ask you to share your experience and advise about how to borrow ETH to buy BTC, please? I'm interested in taking adventage of price action so could be settled off-chain.
Just ask lenders from your locality and make your BTC investment as collateral, maybe they will consider it. But I was thinking deeply about why you need to borrow ETH which in fact you can directly buy BTC in any exchange. However, talking about borrowing money was not advisable but of course, if you don't have any option in order to have capital then that might push you to do that. But the problem is if there is someone or any lending institution that will help you.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2023, 01:06:38 PM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

I thought CP3 would lead the second unit. It would be risky for him to play as a starter, considering his tendency to get injured again with increased minutes. CP3's current value lies primarily in his leadership abilities, as he is no longer the consistent playoff performer who could put up significant numbers. That's just my perspective.

I'm on the side where Curry and Thompson will benefit when CP3 will play with them on the starting unit, he can give them spaces
when he facilitating the ball.

With his scoring capabilities, it will add up on their offensive threat. I think the downside is the defense if 3 of them will play together
the opposing side might use the size and speed to take advantage of the small lineup.

We will know that once they start playing together, looking to see how coach Kerr will design the system.

The Warriors didn't have any issues with their offense last season. From what I observed, their problem was with their big men. They lacked a strong center who could provide help for Looney and score inside, similar to players like Davis and Jokic. Therefore, I believe they should search for a player who fits that role. If they can't find one, they should focus on improving their defense, particularly inside the paint.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 28, 2023, 12:16:29 PM

i was amazed by the votes as it favored Jermall Charlo?[
Same here. I actually haven't checked the result yet, and just now I voted for Canelo to win by KO. However, the fact that the majority of the voters believe that Charlo will win is significant. This indicates that the fight is not going to be one-sided; instead, it will be fun to watch as a real competitive bout.

with all of our prediction and belief yet the votes goes in Charlo  Wink Smiley is there any chance from a lucky punch of knockout that Jermall Charlo can beat Canelo Alvares?

because I doubt it.

Why would you rely on luck? Charlo is a great fighter, perhaps not as popular as Canelo, but he remains undefeated. In my opinion, there is a chance that he could win this fight.
773  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: June 27, 2023, 02:03:38 PM
snipped..

But more importantly, what are you going to do with it? Maybe the economy is not going to crash into a recession, the question is "How are you going to capitulate the bull market then?" If there will be an actual soft landing, war will not escalate into a greater war, Gensler CAN'T truly ban crypto. Then this is a good sign, what again are you going to do about it? Will you put more money at risk? Will you invest more?  And if whales come back and take Bitcoin to six digits, how are you going to participate and take your profits?

You see, it's not about what you know. It's all about how you behave whether the economy is doing good or bad. What are you going to do with it?
Our actions correspond to risks and consequences. Yes, it is not all about what we know but of what we are going to do in anticipating the possible worse scenario. As we are aware of the possible conflicts, market recession, and high inflation, then we have to start preparing for it, and having good investments (like in Bitcoin) will help a lot when it comes to financial preparation. Now, we can't just stay simple and lazy but must work hard because this will have an impact on the economy of the country when everyone is helping themselves to grow.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: June 27, 2023, 01:27:58 PM
I'd keep this idea and applied to my investment plan - always buy at a low price. If we think that the price of Bitcoin will rise in the coming days, then think about buying. But if we think it won't, then I think there is no reason of taking risks. Might we hear that there is no perfect time for buying Bitcoin, well, it can't be perfect but at least buying them during the market correction is a great opportunity.

if we ask -is the right time to buy? You can perhaps make your analysis based on the market condition before making a decision.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2023, 11:53:25 AM
And it's going to be interesting how Jimmy will adjust and let Dame be the center of their offense if ever he goes to the Heat.

I don't see it as a problem with Jimmy because he has been on different teams where he wasn't the main scorer. So, I'm confident they will be a good fit. Jimmy, being a great defender, might also be able to help Lillard improve his defense. I hope this happens because having two reliable scorers on the team would contribute to the Heat's future success. Who knows, this could be the opportunity for Jimmy to win his first NBA championship alongside Lillard.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 27, 2023, 11:00:25 AM

I hope kabayan that after this mini-tourney i would end profitable hehe but not expecting too much though.

If you don't expect to be profitable, it means you are not fully confident in what you are doing. Treat it as a serious journey rather than just for fun. Track your progress and outcomes—it's a good start towards becoming a professional sports bettor someday.

Don't get me wrong kabayan hehe, i'm serious in this endeavor as this is still money, Php500 per game is not a joke but this is gambling and too much expectation might end up in frustration.

It's good to know that you are tracking my bets/progress and hope for the best result but becoming a professional sports bettor someday is not on my mind ATM but who knows, the ball is round.

Will post my bet here tomorrow.

You can start with a small amount, but once you sense that you have achieved the desired consistency, who knows, you might be able to increase your bankroll to a decent amount. As gamblers, our biggest enemy is actually ourselves. Even if we have a working strategy, once we let our emotions take over, it can ruin our game plan and lead to negative outcomes in the end.

Anyway, I'm confident that as a gambler, you will learn from your experiences. So, bisdak, good luck! We believe in you.

777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: June 26, 2023, 09:42:53 PM
I am aware that DCA is better in a coin you know will last somehow long depending on how long you have to DCA.
DCA is the only means that is easy for me to buy coins. Which altcoin can you recommend for me to start DCAing till  halving when the bull run is expected.
I am afraid , that before bull run such coin might have problems. I don't want coins above $100, so that it will be possible to run on good profits if the investment works.

you can do DCA EDU, ARB or SUI, because I believe EDU, ARB and SUI are new projects that have a great opportunity for the price to increase very high especially if the market is having a bull run, then I believe EDU, ARB and SUI can give you a big profits, then from that I recommend you to DCA EDU, ARB or SUI and hold it for the long term.
Honestly, investing in new projects is quite too risky for long-term investment. Of course, they look promising but the question is how these projects survive if they don't have a use case to keep their client stay? They will just throw them when bullish comes or after the hype, and the developer will just then leave when seeing it declines. They might be good for the short-term but not for long-term investment. But even though it looks promising, still won't give interest in buying. They get known for their airdrops but just look at their current status, they are declining badly, and that shows something.
778  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 23, 2023, 12:35:26 PM
At that same time scammers started entering these casinos. To stop them a lost of casinos updated their TOC with KYC requirement.
How can KYC prevent scammers from entering a casino, and how do scammers attempt to cheat the casino? We are specifically discussing online casinos with robust security measures, where the house have the advantage. In this context, gamblers would only succeed by cheating, and KYC may not be a foolproof solution since individuals can easily submit falsified documents.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 23, 2023, 11:30:04 AM
Didn't expect the move of GSW trading Poole to get CP3 and so is Poole I guess. I thought he is one of the future of GSW along with Kuminga. Maybe, it would be a different story if only he perform well last season. I don't think Poole loves to be traded. Based on my observation he wanted to stay in GSW like Curry, and Thompson. As for CP3, joining GSW is his best chance to get a ring before his retirement in a few more years.

Yes, if not for the drama prior to the start of the season and then in the playoffs, maybe he will still be a Warrior right now. But I guess the management really weight everything specially in his performance in the second round. He was non-existent and instead of helping, he has somewhat become a issue now. So the Warriors are still going to be good though, they still have their leader in Green and Steph Curry, and then adding another experience player, might be good for them. I'm seeing maybe Kuminga and Wiggins getting the benefit of the trade as for sure CP3 passing ability like getting a alley-oop pass for this two will be great for the team.
He hasn't been acting professionally, despite the drama. Perhaps he should continue playing as he used to. Maybe he was intentionally trying to sabotage the Warriors with his poor performance, and there's a possibility he was even betting against his own team, knowing he would harm their chances. Such behavior is unacceptable for a highly paid player. His underperformance led to the management's decision to let him go, which was a good move.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 22, 2023, 09:46:26 PM
Even if ethereum has been on the market for some time it still has enormous potential, it is my favorite altcoin i have a monthly accumulation plan for eth,is an excellent investment for me

I hope we could see from the little surge we experienced within the last past 24hrs on crypto market, we could see some possible potentials on those coins as they rise along with bitcoin, having more opportunities for holding Ethereum shouldn't be taken for granted because we are still in the deep and people can still take advantage of this to invest on it together with few other prospective coins with better opportunities.
We still have time for accumulation and so we don't have to take it for granted because once it was over, it takes a long time before it goes back. Ethereum is known for its long-term potential to survive and generate profit. It gives us confidence unlike how these hyped projects and shitcoins.
If we still have extra money and see the potentiality of ETH, buying more could be a great option but of course, we don't have to push someone, it should be their decision.
