Harkorede - who would have said you'd be biting your toenails before today Grin
Considering that our F1 answer is the same, it all comes down to the 2nd half of the Atalanta - Napoli game. You have the desired result so far, but a draw is still a quite likely outcome.

Still can't believe that we drew against each other with 1 point on the Newcastle - Chelsea question Grin

Yeah right, that's quite a crazy scenario, I wonder what the tension would have been right now had Monaco not grab that second goal, It all balls down to Napoli indeed, and I'm glad to have the slight edge right now, if not, all those banters through the course of the week would have been for nothing, and it would have been the jokes on me and my team  Shocked

I would rather it never get to come to that, so Napoli should just double or triple their advantage, and let us get this done and over with as soon as possible, I can't afford to be on the fence here after how much I've had to say in the past few days, huh!

EDIT:

Atalanta just equalized wtf??!  Huh Huh

Let's leave the BSFL family meeting and suggestions for now please, can we all get Monaco to score at least just one more goal from PSG, I really can't have PSG conceding just a goal, from onset it was either none or more than one, I can't let just let Cryptofrka back into this fixture, please!

Let's goooooo Monacoooooooo.  Grin

Wohoo!!! Another point for me and strangely, another missed answer by jeremypwr. I'm pretty surprised that you don't have any correct answers so far. But I'm not complaining about 3-0 lead Grin

Yeah, right It was from my thoughts to Folarin Balogun's ears for that second Monaco's goal, I'm not very happy with not winning a point there but I'm more happy that my opponent doesn't get any point from that game either, and that brings me closer to get 3 points for this week!

Trofo and myself spoke thoroughly this week on how to remedy the current situation, eventually we decided not to have huge changes mid-season because it would be against the rules. Personally, I was exploring a single, 16-team Division 3 from this season already - but it was impossible to achieve it.

I don't know know if you and/or Trofo saw my post about the possible option going forward to make it more competitive, I said we might be better of with just two Divisions, but with higher number of participant, I mean if we can have 40-50 or participant on SuperBRU, I think the division with 20-25 users and Division with 30 more users will be better and more competitive and someone failing to submit for a week will not have as much significance as it current have with less number of users per division, the only con is that the season might have to go longer than the current plan, but if that will promote engagement and not give anyone the opinion of being way below in the 3rd division and looking at how long it will take to make it to the elite group might be a sort of discouragement, that's just my opinion, I could possibly be very wrong about it.

I've actually got my stake on Man United again, I'd rather have a valid reason to hate them for the rest of the season, they let me down the last game week so, I'm having them on redemption trip now, it's either they do right by me or we'll be at loggerheads the reminder of the season.

I probably would have stake my points on them if the odds was atleast over 3x. There are still some tiny chance for Manchester United to get to the play off if they could win the last two games so yeah I think its about time they win in the UCL. Unless of course by some miracle, Copenhagen win against Bayern Munich then that would be another story

It's still not an easy choice to go with but If there were to be any sense of responsibility or urgency from Erik Ten Haag's side, it's gotta to be now, and the final game against Bayern Munich is not one they should be optimistic about for any reason whatsoever, If they fail to win this week they likely wouldn't even be heading to the Europa league, so they've got it all to play for now, or never.

The Porto vs Barcelona game is one of the highly probably upsets that one could expect, but the fact their you can't have Porto on win or draw is the major con here, but I'll sure not be having my stake or Barcelona to win either, because the "Juice isn't going to be worth the squeeze".

But what about all 10 stakes on Copenhagen against Bayern Munich ? That's over 10+ Odds right, hitting that would be game over, all that will be needed after that would be just to look for 1.2 - 1.3 Odds heavy favorites down the lane to keep the pace. Shocked

Yes, he was given the exposure, perhaps the team expects something big from Chet or he is just a player that really wanted to help his team, and so far we have noticed his performance and it's scary his potential will be in the future.

And it's hard not to compare him with Wemby, both are running for a rookie of the year and it looks like Chet might have a slight advantage if we will see today's voting.

Nevertheless, it's a long season and we will see more of them and we will see how the Spurs will break from their losing streak or Chet really becoming a solid OKC player.

Chet before his injury has been expected to perform and now OKC gives him all that time to bring everything in, and he's not disappointing anyone, though it's too early for concluding but if Chet will continue and will play without any injury this season winning ROY is possible.

On the other hand, Wemby is also doing his best, but support is not theirs for him, unlike Chet who got SGA who can really help him to establish his

skills, someone that can carry him and win games alongside with him.

I think Victor Wembanyama also have a great supporting cast that could help get into his best form and reach highest potential, but unlike OKC, the San Antonio Spurs is a complete work in progress and Gregg Popovich doesn't even have a definitively role for Wembanyama yet, he's play currently playing as either a forward or center, with Zach Collins still occupying the center role more, while the Spurs best play makers have not been always available too, speaking of Tre Jones, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson. OKC have taken the last entire season with Chet out injured to figured out how he would slot perfectly into the team, and regardless of all these neither Chet nor Wembanyama have underperformed so far this season, and I believe they can only get better to be very honest!

I'm also having free fall down the pecking order here too, but we all know how significant just one good game week can be in this pool, and I'm pretty much due for one flawless week 🤞

this round will hardly be a decider, since there is too much one-sided matches, where teams are pretty much big favorites, and it is hard to expect that many people will go with surprises
nevertheless, some surprises could happen, not sure about Union Berlin after series of loses in last two months

Yeah, perhaps not this week, but regardless of the one sided matches with heavy slightly favourites, you'd agree that getting the correct scores in a couple of games can be of high important even if everyone get the right result, correct scoreline are always what does the heaving lifting here.

Just 5 exact score line would make my week  Wink, it's just rather easier said than done.

4 of 6 for my early picks. Not bad. And I got a bonus betting for the Dallas Mavericks -1.5 before the game started.

I don't think I am betting for the Warriors just yet. I don't see anything good coming out from the stars except Steph Curry. Today though, they showed their combined 2nd and 3rd team has something else. I guess Steve Kerr just had enough with his first team and after Chris Paul was thrown out by Scott Foster the first team was so frustrated that they were missing open shots.
Maybe I will wait for Draymond to be back and see if their +/- will be different.

Nice profit margin for you I'd agree.

The Warriors look really out of sync and they're losing their identity for the kind of team they've always been known to be, Draymond Green absence might have its part to play, but I don't like the fact that Steve Kerr isn't trusting their rookies and new additions well enough, he's still sticking to a set of players even when it's obvious, they're not in their best shape or form, I don't see any reason why those players can come off the bench to lead the second unit, Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson are not at their best, it's easier to bring them off the bench to lead the second unit, Podziemski, Dario Saric and Jonathan Kuminga have done very well enough this season to an a starting spot, that will bring more dynamism to the Warriors style of play and make them less predictable, and Klay Thompson coming of the bench would be a very great approach in my opinion which will make Warriors always have a good shooter on the court every minute of the game, their current game plan is like a telegraphed tactics to other teams, which is why they're struggling a lot in my opinion.

But the clean sheet against Dortmund, I don't know if you saw the game, was a shameful event. It wasn't because Bayern was so strong, it was because Dortmund was so bad that I had to turn off the game. I was quite excited because I really hoped that Dortmund playing at home could mean something, no loss in a long time and some self-confidence could have contributed a great deal to a good result. But I think Dortmund's results until then did not properly reflect their performances. The games against Newcastle were the same. Results good, performances ok at best. Bayern put their lucky streak to an end.

Yeah. I was pretty heartbroken not so much for the scoreline but the way they gave Bayern an easy time, but the quicker I move on, the better.

Friday has a game, I'm sure cygan will send out reminders but I've gone in and set my picks. I slip farther and farther down, but I retain faith in a return to the mean.

I just put in my picks a couple of hours ago too, this time for all the pools including the CL, FPL is the only one I'm still keeping a close tab on the news before making a move.

I'm also having free fall down the pecking order here too, but we all know how significant just one good game week can be in this pool, and I'm pretty much due for one flawless week 🤞

I'm watching the Boca juniors match.. 0-1 after 3 min and a red card for Boca juniors after 14 min.. I have under 1.5 goals and over 5.5 cards so it doesn't look good to me😂

UPDATE: 2-1 HT and 1 red card and 1 yellow card.

Incredible match man, a total shame Estudiantes.... you cant lose this game in this way, it was so easy.
I expected a boring match but this was a very entertaining match.. 2 late cards in the match ruined it for me 😂

And those late yellow cards are what helped get mine, so I'm currently 100% perfect so far for this round, I'm schooling Cryptofrka properly on how it's been done in 1st division.

We don't joke around here mate, you've got to know your place and that's the 2nd division  Tongue, I can see notblox1 is doing perfectly fine there without the mafia boss fixing matches to get his opponents hyped up, and even his own players perform woefully.

Will City lose with a B team? Will Newcastle prevail? Will United bow out, or live another day?

UEFA Champions League Matchday 5 submissions are now open!
I noticed a small odds typo in the Pot B submission form for the Young Boys vs. Red Star Belgrade match. Their actual odds are 3.1 based on Rollbit's sportsbook.

I didn't notice the odds most probably because I didn't check Sport book for the odds, neither did pay attention the Young Boys vs Red Star match, but I'm sure I saw some 2+ Odds and 3+ Odds, I just don't remember which team had what, I sure buwaytress will look into it.

I've actually got my stake on Man United again, I'd rather have a valid reason to hate them for the rest of the season, they let me down the last game week so, I'm having them on redemption trip now, it's either they do right by me or we'll be at loggerheads the reminder of the season.
I'm also thinking of the same strategy since I didn't secure a single point last time and relying on teams with odds close to even won't work for me anymore if I want to catch up with the rest.

I don't think so, If you can get 20+ points every game week from now to the end of the competition, you most likely will end up in paid spot, but how feasible is that is the question ?!

I think I got few that really spark my attention especially because I really need huge boost of the pool B points. Copenhagen could be surprising especially when Munich has already qualified and the odds are 12x  Roll Eyes. Porto on the other hand could totally also make it against Barcelona considering that their last game against Barcelona was pretty close too. Guess I'll wait for few more days to decide huh  Roll Eyes

I've actually got my stake on Man United again, I'd rather have a valid reason to hate them for the rest of the season, they let me down the last game week so, I'm having them on redemption trip now, it's either they do right by me or we'll be at loggerheads the reminder of the season.

There are some many possible upsets to hunt for in this game round but for not having any point in the last round, there is no way I can get all aggressive with my approach.

Good thing someone got a goal during that Brazil vs Argentina match because it was about to go 0-0 with the defensive pace it was going and I thought i'll be down early in the round. Grin

I'm also okay with the Division 2 fee if it becomes a thing in the upcoming seasons. The "penalty fee" sounds interesting as it could be charged through the rewards we get at the end of the season.

I'm glad to have gone with Argentina, even though I knew that a life long record is at stake for Brazil, as they've never lost a World Cup qualifying game at home, but that's gone now and also gave me the first early advantage.

I also thought this was going to be a goalless draw too, but the Brazilian players were playing overly physical, and getting unnecessary cards, I knew it was just a matter of time before a red card get issue, I was quite surprised that they were able to comport themselves in the second half until Argentina took the lead.

All questions sent on time and I have green light for first one, Wales didnt win against Turkey just like I expected.
Turkey played with reserves and young players because they already qualified and I knew home team could not cope with this situation when they have to win.
This is just a start of the round round and I have many different questions from Strongkored, but team Notblox1 is ready for fair play.

Wales not to win was literally a consensus in the competition, I would have gone for Turkey to win or Draw if it was a 3 option question like that of Argentina vs Brazil, Argentina vs Brazil is the most divided question for the week, whichever the game goes there will a lot of players with points, I'm up against the newly promoted side Cryptofrka, and we've both got the first question correctly, while we have 7 question differences going forward, it's going to be an interesting one, I'm sure!

It looks like we are saying goodbye to another 3 players from 3B who already had 2 penalties from before and didn't send their answers by the deadline…

That such a shame, I think it might be down to how stressful and long it would take to climb up the ladder but then everything worth doing is worth doing well, at least everyone new what they signed up for when they registered and they were well aware of the division they'd be playing in, so I really get it that we all have a huge and more demanding life outside this forum, but in as much as we spend every other couple of hours on here every week, that's more or less what it takes to fill the questions, but it could be understandable if they feel like the competitiveness download the ladder in division 3 isn't fun enough for them and it'll take quite a while to get as further as division 1-2, I think a better solution might be just two have to division and with something at stake for everybody, it wouldn't kill to have a 20-25 teams in division 1 and 25-30 for division 2, we can just increase the number of promoted and/or relegated teams, so a league of 2 divisions and more teams per division will surely increase competitiveness and some missing out on a week and getting 3-0 victory would not be as advantageous as it currently does. That's just my rant and 2 cent all in one piece!

Gavi, at the age of 19, has a greater international legacy and is more patriotic to his country than Halaand; it's a greater honour to get fucked up playing for your motherland than it is to play for your club side. Gavi will be remembered for giving his all for the Spain jersey.

Mikel OBi is Nigeria's most decorated player today after sacrificing his Chelsea career for the country.

No international game is unimportant in Africa; every player wants to play.

There is an absolute difference between being patriotic enough to represent your country on every level, even in Africa there matches considered to less important and those are the best time to give some other players playing time as well, playing for your country while not being fully fit or with a minor injury isn’t what I’d refer to as patriotism, rather is just negligence.

————————-

I believe Jarred Bowen would also be available for the weekend too, it’s just some publicity facade and more over, the FPL injury chat can’t be solely relied upon too, except for the red ones and long term injuries.

You can easily use the search messages option on the left side oy your screen under "Preference", all you just need to do is include the probable word you are quite sure you might have used in the content of this said message, when it brings out the results in the "Author" column, it's going to show your username instead of the recipient(s) and/or probably both, your username being the Author indicates that it is an outbox message.
I already did before creating this topic. Doesn't work for outbox :-(

I double checked, I believe I was only able to get result with my username in the Author's column because I responded to the PM with the "reply all" option which also included me as both the sender and one of the recipients, hence, the misinterpretation from me, after I opened the message I indeed discovered it was as an inbox, but with my username as the Author as well.
